This place is awesome. I can’t say enough…My fiancée and I came here the morning after our engagement, the two gentlemen working were quick to provide excellent service and coffee on the house!The name of the cafe means “paid coffee” in Italian, as in paying it forward/for the next persons. After enjoying this quiche, we just had to do the same…Thanks, Caffé Pagato.

We love Caffe Pagato! My favorite is the London Fog with Lavender and the quiche! Such a great (and filling!) way to start off my day!

Pagato is a staple in our routine now! Melissa and Jake are seriously the most awesome people and the food is out of this world. Hidden gem tucked into the caltrans building thats definitely worth visiting.

I enjoyed my order. It had distinct notes, and good flavor. Location was a little difficult to access but no need to ding the review on that (I could always use a good walk). I plan to go here again for sure and I would definitely recommend to others. =)

Great vibe; delicious, original, hand crafted foods; excellent coffee; fun, friendly staff. This is our new go-to spot for a quick, refreshingly local bite.

Unfortunately I got the ultimate grilled cheese. They may have good food but I found the grilled cheese to be inedible. The staff was nice and did refund me.

Great food, good espresso drinks, cute atmosphere, nice service...its a good lunch or study spot, but not a lot of seating. Charming look with nice selection of sandwiches & paninis. The ingredients are well thought-out & prepared special to order. Not run of the mill...familiar bases with really nice additions...my spicy ham was a terrific ham & cheese with a great pepper jelly...just the right amount.The pastry case looks stuffed with sweet & savory items that deserve exploration. A nice list of drink specials to fit the season is a good addition. The earl gray brownie is so good! Groovy, cute place.

A nice quiet coffee shop near downtown Redding. Inside of the local hospital, and very quaint.It is very welcoming, and the atmosphere is lovely. The baristas were very pleasant, and I enjoyed the conversations.The coffee was pretty good, I got a latte, which was nice, the coffee wasnt burnt, and the art was amazing! Nothing too special, but would recommend to try.Would go again!

Love this place. This is one of the very few coffee shops that make their own coffee creamers and syrups. Their baked food has this.. old 1700s feel to it, and it is very unique and amazing. If I were rich, Id just come here every morning for breakfast and coffee.

Friendliest barista I think Ive ever met and great coffee/breakfast on top of it all. Glad to have passed up Starbucks to stop here instead.

Get Jakes latte! Its the best latte Ive ever had. I hope they add it to the menu. Incase its not there its one part pumpkin spice, two parts miso sesame carmel, and oat milk. Pastries and sandwiches are also dope.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. It is one of my favorites in town. They make their own flavors in house and have a variety of options. I drink my coffee black but my boyfriend tries their flavored drinks. They have a gram cracker flavor and lavender infused flavored coffee I have tried and they are delicious! You can also get salads, sandwiches and a varied of scrumptious pastries here! We have been coming here for 2 years now and absolutely love it.

Cute little coffee and breakfast/lunch spot, Definitely slow during lunch order ahead. Specialty coffee takes a bit of time too but its tasty and unique. Small seating areas and tucked away in an easy to miss spot but much needed for this side of town.

This cafe is a hidden gem. You would never know that such deliciousness would be in the caltrans parking lot. I got a homemade pastry filled with the crispiest bacon and an iced latte made with their homemade pistachio rose syrup...I will definitely be coming back!

The coffee is well coffee. I just had a latte so nothing special. The food however is really good. They only serve lunch until 1pm but is is well worth a stop in.

Best cappuccino in town and probably on par with the best in San Francisco or L.A. (Like Fourbarrel or Verve). For those who like flavored drinks, they make their own incredible syrups by hand. The quiche is to die for, and changes every day (not to mention the best price in town for quality hand-crafted breakfast - only $3)

Great atmosphere and real good coffee. I would recommend their pour-over or honey lavender latte. Little fun fact: Pagato is Italian for buy a coffee and give a coffee to someone else.

I absolutely love their lavender latte! I come here as often as I can, the atmosphere is great and the shop is nice and bright. Perfect for getting work done, or catching up with a friend.

Great breakfast spot in Redding! Delicious craft coffee, excellent breakfast burritos, kolaches, and quiche, at very reasonable prices. No high chairs, but a surprisingly family friendly atmosphere for those with small kids.

Raw milk and pistachio rose. Something I have never had with coffee. Was very good would hook it up over any other sweet drink.

Caffe Pagato is a tucked away gem in Redding. Had the most incredible sandwich there. Would highly recommend for lunch. My husband enjoyed his latte. Carrie is awesome!

My favorite coffee shop in Redding, alongside their amazing esspresso drinks and pour over coffee, the food here is a step above many of the other coffee shops around. All the syrups are housemade and the seasonal ones are always worth a try or two (or three)
