My dad has followed Jamie through every shop he worked at for over 40 years, and into this shop. Whenever car repair comes up in conversation, dad always talks about how good and fair Jamie is, and that he is truthful about prices and what actually needs to be fixed. (Dad is an amateur mechanic so he is able to tell when professional mechanics try to tell you things need to be fixed to get more money from you.) I was happy to finally meet Jamie when I went with my bff to smog her 1st car. He was friendly but professional, made sure to go over the details of what he would do and answer our questions, told us if anything needed fixed to pass smog that he would get my friends permission and go over the additional prices before doing anything. He was faster than we anticipated but also did the smog competently. He was fair in his price. My bff will be going to him for any additional car repair that comes up. We were both impressed about everything from making an appointment to paying to being able to leave with a correctly smogged car.

Helped me get my sons Chevy back on the road. Alternator fixed after towed to them in the middle of the night. They also fixed the bearings that had been in need since purchased and at a reasonable price. Got my receipt online after my son went and paid with my credit card. Loved it!

I had an oil leak and Jamie and team were able to get me back on the road for less than I was expecting for this type of repair. As a bonus, fixing this and replacing my spark plugs has improved my gas mileage and the effectiveness of my a/c. I’m so happy to keep my high mileage vehicle going strong for the last 7 years for way less than a car payment. 😁

Jamie has been the best when it comes to fixing both our vehicles.He also was kind enough to bring a battery jumper unit to where we were to restart our battery after a family member left the radio and ran the battery down. Of course we on the other side of his business, thank goodness.If you are looking for an honest mechanic and staff, call his business. A great and safe place to take your car or truck

They tried asking me if they can just sign my name for me for my insurance coverage because I wasn’t there to sign? Very illegal and unprofessional. Not sure I can trust them now. I am going to be in close contact with my insurance company to make sure they didn’t try and authorize anything I didn’t authorize myself.

Had a great experience here getting my tail lights fixed. They were fixed same day and found the cause of why they went out in the first place. I felt like the price was very fair and I was well taken care if. Would go back again.

I recently brought my new (used) car in for a smog cert. I was so impressed by the level of service Jamie provided. Not only did he get me in for a same-day appointment, but when I asked if he also had time to check my tires and look at my engine for any potential issues, just for my peace of mind, he didn’t even hesitate. I’d definitely recommend going to Underhood if you want fast, honest, and reliable service.

I appreciate the honesty these workers give. They tell you what is wrong ,and even take the time out of their busy schedule to show you exactly what work was done to your car. I appreciate that Jaime broke it down to me exactly what they did, and why, to reassure me that they are taking the most cost efficient, yet most effective route to fixing my car. Not only did they fix my car, but gave me great advice on the reality of how much longer my car would be making it around town because of its age and its issues (again with being honest). I liked the positive atmosphere they provided and the level of comfort. My overall experience was great!

They answer the phone at 0730 am and that impresses me! Then they had my truck finished the same day. Upper radiator hose and thermostat. I started taking my truck to Jaime 2 years ago when I called around comparing shop rates and Jaime was charging $87 when everyone else was charging $115. He has a locked yard which is also important to me. Honest customer service here.

Work that your mechanic did on my car was really good he replace my AC and fix my window window washer motor he did leave it down instead of putting it up thats okay he was a little grouchy though I understand that hes going to be retiring soon maybe thats what he needs to do anyways Jamie thank you again I will come back again and I will always refer people to you

Jamie and crew have diagnosed stuff and smogged at least 5 of my cars now. Every time they check a car they find stuff that wasnt mentioned at time of sale, or noticed from other shops doing work on the vehicles. Top notch crew, highly recommended!

I visited Jamies shop to get a quick diagnose of my axle to determine if a repair was worth doing given that I am planning to sell my vehicle. Jamie took a quick look as I didnt want to pay for a full on inspection. They quickly recognized that my axle was fine and only needed new bushings.But he felt I could get my asking price without doing the repairs and recommended I just sell the vehicle rather than spending money I wouldnt get back. Amazing honestly just as all the other reviews say.

These guys are great. I went into Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change/ transmission flush on the missus car. Found out the motor mounts were broken! I took the car to Jaimie and he got it handled for considerably cheaper than my usual mechanic no questions asked. In and out in the same day and my family is back on the road. Jaime and his crew really took care of us, again. This trip we brought in our Suzuki XL7 because it was idling very very high and wouldnt go into gear correctly. Jaime did not try to upsell us on anything and, in fact, was able to simply clean the part (sensor) causing the issue rather than selling us a new $200 one. Hes always looking to do whats best for the customer and not just line his wallet. Weve taken a couple of our other cars into him in the past, as well, and gotten the same great treatment. This is without a doubt our new/favorite mechanic! My fiancé and I went in with only an hour or so notice and they were able to fit us in. Unfortunately we found out that our car had blown a head, but for the first time in my entire life I trusted everything that a mechanic told me. Not only did they not try to sell us on anything, he charged us less than he quoted to diagnose it, printed us out the information for the government program that offers you money for your car, and he told us we could bring by any cars we were debating purchasing and be would check them out free of cost. We came back the next day to do just that, and sure enough Jamie came out and examined the car inside and out, listened to it, and took the time to answer all my annoying questions. I didnt feel rushed, unimportant, or persuaded in any way. He is a kknowledgeabl & trustworthy mechanic that goes above and beyond for his costumers. I would recommend him and his shop to any and everyone who asked.My fiance (who is, at times, rather picky and opinionated) also mentioned that in his 34 years of life Jamie is the ONLY mechanic he has fully trusted... which is a huge statement coming from him!Thank you guys again for everything youve done for our little family, it means more than you could possibly know! Best Mechanics and Best Customer Service In the Northstate!Jamie and his staff are amazing. We had our 2005 Chevy Silverado towed to his shop at 10:30 am today due to a failed pitman arm no steering. He fit us into his packed schedule and made the repair along with another long needed repair to our driver side door that we requested and got us back on the road by 4 pm!
