Clear communication from both emails and phone calls all the way to delivery and follow up after receiving my Dodge Charger. Brittani Erickson was our salesperson and she took the time on a busy weekend to give us her undivided attention. We are looking into a vehicle for our daughter and Brittani was able to explain, in detail, many different scenarios and options involved in the ways to research and purchase a vehicle. Extremely educational and valuable experience for our 20 year old to witness. When it’s time for her to make the purchase we will be back to see her. Called crown to order a $200 part for my Ford Explorer and this was my last straw with this place. The guy was acting like I was bothering him, was super rude, unprofessional, and in a big hurry to get off the phone. Said he would call when the part came in, never received that phone call. I just want a part for my vehicle. I’d rather drive all the way to Corning than come here, do NOT give them your business. This is not the first time; my family and I both have experienced their best unprofessionalism and I don’t understand it.The other review talking about the shuttle not coming to pick up their grandma is a shared experience, be ready to just take an uber or arrange a ride.

Theyre swamped and under staffed due to covid and I get that. But my grandmothers car was there almost this entire month with no call backs, its been done about a week, they thought it was at Hilds, no someone read that wrong, oh its here. I was about to report it stolen honestly. The guy I spoke with in person was very nice and apologizetic, said itd gotten misplaced in the lot. I get hes under a lot of pressure but honestly still would not recommend this place ever. They didnt even do the oil change, they only inspected it, but at least they didnt charge us for it smh. The whole thing was a cluster f. My aunt and I were just trying to help my grandma out and this whole thing really stressed everybody out.

Needed to have ecm reflash due to ford recall. Wad told when i set up appointment it was a quick easy process. The Wife spent two hours in the waiting room the 1st time. When they said it was done, it had a check engine light when she went to leave. The 2nd time was 1.5 hr. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

My mother took her honda insight here for a factory recall. They left her and my 96 year old grandma downtown for almost 3 hours. They said they sent a shuttle for them but they sat in the heat. The driver and the service guy named Wyatt made excuses for why it took so long. Clown motors is a joke.

The absolute worst customer care I have ever dealt with. Their service center are incompetent at best! They lie and do shotty work! Say a time they will be done and when its been much longer are nowhere to be found with the vehicle torn half apart! I will NEVER be using them ever again! Any other ford dealership has to be better than this. Do not trust them and do not give them your business! We were supposed to get our vehicle back in less than a day! 5 days later they tell us less than an hour... Now 2 hrs later and nothing cant even get a straight answer!

They value your time and make things happen. Nothing good to say about the service department would rather drive all the way to Corning and have my truck actually fixed not have the codes reset just for the same engines codes and light to turn back on less than 5 miles from the this stealership. Rick Taylor was my service advisor he has no customer service skills and is very short and quick to charge for things that are still under dealer warranty I was charged 170 dollars for them to flash the codes away and do no labor on the vehicle and he notified me it didn’t fall under factory warranty even tho it was a turbo malfunction which falls under powertrain warranty and was indeed covered by another dealer with my 5 year / 60k mile coverage I’m sure Rick was quick to notice my truck had 58k miles and would have expired weeks after leaving in mileage and at that point would no longer be covered so they could charge me more he said they used my extended factory 150k mile warranty which has a 100 dollar deductible but I was charged 70 additional dollars for diagnostic time!!!!! If your broke down on I-5 in Redding would be the only reason to take your truck there besides that I wouldn’t use them nor would I buy a truck from them seeing as I attempted to purchase my truck there but after calling only 2 other dealers I was quoted 8k less and the dealer I ultimately purchased from was 11k dollars cheaper for the same exact truck option for option identical according to build sheet I hope this reaches the owner and or managers of this dealership and someday they could start operating a decent dealership such and Corning Ford which got me in towed my truck from my house and fixed it under warranty same day congratulations Corning Ford on running an exemplary dealership to which other dealers that are sub par such as crown should strive to be like...

I had one of the most difficult types of problems with my Dodge truck, an electrical problem. This truck is important to me it represents the We Back the Blue Shasta non profit. The truck was diagnosed as having a bad computer by a local shop, but they recommended taking it to the dealer.I ordered a computer and had it towed to Crown where I met Cody the Dodge expert. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances involving 2 defective replacement computers that took additional diagnosing to verify it was not caused by a different issue we landed on getting a 3rd computer all coming out of Florida (all covered under the computer company warranty).This took at least 6 weeks of on and off waiting for parts and troubleshooting. However in the end they got it fixed.Cody was patient and helpful during this entire nightmare. He was always confident they would figure it out. As you can imaging the cost of this repair began to become a looming concern. But when it was all said and done I was very pleasantly surprised and consider what I was charged to be very fair.Great service, fair price and happy customer!

Although we were unable to get a deal done because other dealerships offered more for my trade, I wouldnt hesitate to shop at this dealership. Matt offered incredible customer service, the General Manager Steve Roberts stepped up to try to get some more workable numbers for our possible deal, and their communication is second to none. This is what you want in a car dealership. I wish our deal would have worked out.

When picking up my truck from having some work done, I noticed a huge dent in my running board. Its completely creased and I can barely open the passenger doors. I dont know how many countless phone calls and messages Ive left with not one call returned. Its been three weeks now. I was stuck, part of my Ford Escape was hanging off due to a missing screw! This did not effect the performance of my car as it has continually given me 30 to 38 MPG, freeway but it could create a hazzard.Aaron at Crown Motors was great - fixed me up and I was back on the road. After a couple days of not finding the right one she sent me a picture of a car that was being traded in. It was it I came in that day and got it. Went to buy a used car from them after telling them what I wanted to pay for it and my offer was not much less then what they were asking for it. the sales guy got the sales manager he came in with a made up number what they paid for it I told them I wouldnt pay that much for it. Then a couple weeks later I seen the same car at there other lot for less then what I offered them for it. I will never do business with them again. If I could give zero stars I would. I told my husband I did not want to go here due to issues a family member had had with them, but he was insistent. I am well accustomed to sound vehicles make when they are malfunctioning, and I felt something was not right with our escape from the day we drove it off the lot. My husband had never driven a vehicle like this one before, AWD little SUV, and thought maybe this was just how it handled. As the weeks went on it progressively got worse. I attempted to contact them by email as I don’t have much time during work days and no response. Finally it’s to the point where the vehicle is no longer safe to drive, we’re 5 months in. I call them to advise I have attempted to contact them several times and I get told there is no longer a warranty, nothing is covered. I am angry because that issue was noticeable from the moment it left their lot...if they have decent mechanics they knew that too. It and another car were the “Only thing they could get us into” which didn’t make sense Because the Mitsubishi dealer had no problem approving us for more than the amount this vehicle cost. I called them back and told him this vehicle wasn’t safe when It left the lot And they told me oh no problem bring it down and will run a diagnostic on it. Lose work hours, and try to figure out a schedule to take the car down at 7:30 in the morning, only to be told that’ll be $160 please for the diagnostic. Nobody said anything about a fee for the diagnostic test when I spoke with them, and I can get that anywhere for less. Btw it’s probably the transmission. This company doesn’t care about you, all they care about is your money and they don’t care whether they sell you a car that’s safe or not to get it. I have 3 kids they knew would be riding in the car and there was zero f’s given. They even called to find out how we liked the service at the diagnostic appointment!!! Are you kidding me?! When I started to tell him no I didn’t and why I was upset he waved away my concerns his attitude was basically like yes all I called for was to find out if it went well or not, I don’t care why it didn’t. I will never give this place mine or any of my coworkers or family’s business again. Go ANYWHERE else.

EDITED**:The worst waiting time ever! I am still here (3 hours) waiting for my car to finish just getting an oil change. The people are nice and the service is reasonably priced, but not worth it if I have to wait this long. For two hours they have been telling me it is almost done. They clearly overbooked themselves. I wish it could change, but until then I will not be returning.**The GM replied to this review and I greatly appreciate the explanation. My review was an in-the-moment reaction and is not a true reflection of the care I have received from Crown Motors. Like I said, the people are wonderful and I am almost always 100% happy with whatever was done. However, with only one car in the family I wish I could know ahead of time if it needs to be dropped off so they can take their time and not stress about it.

My family recently had a crisis. My 4 year old son was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor DIPG. we only had a small ranger pickup and a small Kia for around town. “Wings of Angels” suggested that I contact Steve Roberts, and was given the phone number for Debbie to set up the meeting. I called Debbie about 3pm and she had me come down to meet Steve at 5:30pm that night. I spoke to Steve and told him that I needed a safe and comfortable vehicle for the rides to San Francisco for his treatment. He said “we will take care of you”, and that is what he did. Steve is a very understanding gentleman with a good heart for others.The purchase of our 2017 Ford Explorer was a good experience. No pressure, courteous, and professional. Nicole in the Honda service department did me a solid. Yesterday I was told the soonest I could get in was 6 days but after talking to Nicole she got me in the following morning. I expected to pay around $200 to have a new splash guard installed but after the mechanic looked at it he said he could fix the old one and it ended up saving me $120. They could have just put the new part on and charged me accordingly but they didnt. I left feeling like they had my best interest in mind. Thanks Crown Honda!

Salesperson: Joseph Leo DifuntorumThis dealership makes deals they dont intend to honor(See photos). I agreed to a price with my salesman which included four oil changes. Before going in to sign the paperwork Joseph told us not to bring up the deal we made. Not a good sign, and you can guess what happened next. When it came time for them to honor that deal Joseph told me I was out of luck. I figured they might try to do this, and they did, so heres your review.Edit: After Steve Roberts reply, I did as he asked and received no response. Here is a photo of the text correspondence with my dealer, alongside my dealers business card. Its been over a year says the Crown Motors dealer who promised four oil changes which happen every six months. Not good!Edit 2: Oh look! Steve Roberts, CEO of Crown Motors deleted his reply. If I could leave a review for ZERO they were deserve it this place is a joke I just recently bought my wife a brand new Honda Civic from them she took it in for a regular oil change maintenance after she drove down to Red Bluff to go visit family for the day but I got a call from work she’s on the side of the road in tears and frantic because she hears scraping noises from the vehicle she thought something bad went wrong at the dealership with her oil change freaking out with the newborn in the car luckily I was able to leave work I drove down to Red Bluff come to find out the tech forgot to put in the bolts where the splashguard is for the drain plug and oil pan I called the dealership and explain to them what happen I assured them there is no way that it was their before because it never done that before and why didn’t they say anything about it after the oil change I still haven’t heard back from them now it has been weeks thanks a lot Crown Motors I had to lose a whole days of wage just because your service tech forgot the bolts I will never recommend this place for any friends or family members again

I bought a new Ram 2500 from crown memorial day weekend of 2018 And agreed to get 4 Accessories put on a bedliner,running boards, fifth wheel goose neck prep, and a fifth wheel. Now they are refusing to pay for the fifth wheel and saying they will only do a goose neck. And I have told them for weeks that I needed a fifth wheel and the day that I signed I kept telling them I needed a fifth wheel and it was what I agreed upon when I signed. Update on June 1st 2018 The issue has been fixed and the GM Steve was outstanding and a great person if you ever have a issue with his store please contact him he will do everything in his power to make things right. A good place to buy 😁

It was a pleasant experience working with Debbie Allen. She was very informative, listened to what I wanted, and showed me the cars that she felt met my needs. There was no pressure to buy and she was very knowledgeable about all the electronic gadgets. She followed up with a phone call after a week to see how everything was going and to answer any questions that I might have after driving my new car. The follow-up was a nice touch because I did have a question that she was able to answer. She also encouraged me to drop by whenever I was in Redding.

I kept receiving a service charging system now notification on the dash. The technician found a pig tail in the wiring harness, which had not been fastened down out of the factory. The wires in the pig tail were rubbing on metal and worn the sheathing off. They were shorting on both each other and the chassis under one of the battery trays. At the direction of Ford, they replaced the pig tail. A few days later I had the same warning on the dash. the technician found an intermittent open in the main harness, which travels behind the engine. The open was found to be behind the engine. The harness was replaced per Fords instruction. Time will tell if the problem has been resolved. Over all Im pleased with the service Ive received from Crown Fords Service Department.

Made appointment one month ahead because of travel time. I was first one there. My new ram needed serviced and 3 re-calls , they fixed 2 re-calls that took two hours, and if I needed other service it would take another 2 to 3 hours they said to busy, so setting up appointment a month ahead did me no good . So my friends, plan on sitting in a waiting room for a spell

Ordered a dimmer switch from Pat McGuire in the parts department. Less than willing to help but he found the part and took my payment. They called me 20 days later to tell me my part was there......? When i got there they said it hadnt been paid for. I had to bring up bank statements to prove I paid. While waiting for them to clear up paperwork I searched the dealer part number on the box. I found they charged me $118 more on a $23 item. They wouldnt honor the price I found on a dealer OEM Jeep part. I dont mind paying more for true OEM but 5 times the price is just wrong. I also believe the part came in weeks earlier but didnt call until it was a stocking issue for them. They will not get my buisiness again.

If I could I would give zero stars. Made an appointment online on my 2017 Pacifica as the check engine light was on. I was leaving for the week so i took my other car and my girlfriend offered to take it to be looked at. Drove 40 miles to be informed by Cory, an indifferent service person that they couldnt look at the car and the online ordering never works right. She explained her frustration about the trip and he then added that they were booked to the end of August. Its July 8th. So transparent and blatant that he didnt care and couldnt be bothered. Im a car guy and buy a LOT of vehicles..Ive lost track how many. I can assure you that I will never return to Crown Motors.
