I HIGHLY recommend Ramsey Subaru and especially our salesperson, Rob Guarino. The 2021 Forester is my first Subaru (also my first new car, Ive had quite a few used/old cars). My dad & I did our research regarding what car would be a good fit for me, and then browsed at 3 different dealerships. When we identified the specific Forester we were interested in, we made an appointment to see it at Ramsey Subaru and were very lucky to be assigned to Rob. He was extremely professional & answered every question we had (and we had a LOT of questions). My dad commented that it was a pleasure to deal with someone with such integrity. Fast forward, Ive had my Forester for 2 weeks and just drove it to & from Ohio. What a dream car! It handles flawlessly and the safety features (lane departure warning, blind spot detection) made it power through a variety of traffic situations with perfection. The sales relationship with Rob didnt end when I drove the car off the lot. He has followed up with info about the cars features and also to make sure everything is going well. I have no doubt that I can contact him with any questions in the future. My dad & I entered Ramsey Subaru as hesitant Forester newbies who were apprehensive about being pressured by a salesperson --- we ended up with an amazing vehicle, a changed impression of the car sales process AND a new friend. I am very happy to say that my experience at the Service Center at Ramsey Subaru was EXCELLENT!!! The staff was very nice and friendly and knowledgeable about my vehicle. Stan is a great salesman. I definitely would have bought my first choice of car, which was a Mercedes C300, but he was very knowledgeable & enthusiastic about the WRX so thats what I bought. Aside from that, the fact that the service department is located 10 minutes from the showroom is weird & inconvenient. Thats why 4 stars instead of 5

I have just purchased my fifth Subaru from this dealer. I started ten years ago with an Outback. The sales people starting with GM Josh Jacobson and his staff have been great. I also have taken the cars for service at the Subaru service for more then ten years. If there was a problem it was quickly resolved. Super fast and courteous service! From check in to getting my loaner was super quick I didn’t even have a chance to send one email. They serviced the car; oil change, 24k service, two recalls, realignment, and fixed a faulty bearing, all quicker than expected. I was surprised I even got my car the same day. People say don’t get cars serviced at your dealer, that’s malarkey! this is worth every dime, my car is a lease and I plan to buy it at the end of term bc they take such good care of it.

Bought a used car from Ramsey Subaru. Experience was the best I have experienced when buying a car from a dealer. There was no pressure and no underhanded tactics or hidden fees. I made an initial offer that was not accepted, waited a bit and was able to negotiate a fair purchase price within the current market. Once the purchase price was agreed on , final cost including fees was given and it did not change at any time. As this was not a Subaru, there was not a lot of info that was to be had from the dealer, had to know the car myself. That being said, Alex the salesman and Mike the business mgr handles my transaction professionally without any bumps. I would certainly buy from them again.

My service rep Esma was very friendly and courteous. She kept me updated on progress made on repair to my rear sensor. There was a delay in getting a part, and when I called the service manager, John, he explained that there had been a system crash by their vendor, which backed up their orders, which then had to be handled manually. Through a very stressful situation, he kept his composure, and treated me with respect and courtesy. My repair was completed, and I left as a satisfied customer.

The Mahwah Subaru Service center is the best - the service was courteous and timely. There is a very spacious waiting area with coffee, access to information about Subaru and news for patrons to view.

My husband and I went to look at a car that had been newly listed online. We were told the car was on a lift and we couldnt see it. We were promised that we had first rights to the car and that it would not be sold out from under us. After calling every day after our initial visit to see of the car was out of service, we find out that there was a deposit put on the car even though we were told yes we knew you were interested.

I was shopping for a brand new 2021Outback Premium. On their website they listed the vehicle as $31,000. When we spoke to the sales man Peter he quoted us a price of $3,000 over sticker price on the vehicle. When my wife and I questioned the mark up, we were given a lame excuse that the mark up was caused by the pandemic and the micro chip shortage. I then explained to the sales man that I had looked at a 2022 Outback premium that was being sold at another dealership, with exactly the same features for $2,000 less than theirs. The dealer was sticking to the vehicle sticker price. Ramsey Subaru is price gouging and taking advantage of a pandemic to line their pockets. Very bad buisness practice in this day and age. I wound up purchasing My Outback with a dealer that was willing to make a deal and not take advantage of people. I will never buy a vehicle from Ramsey ever.

This dealer had a great tranquil vibe after you enter the dealer as no tension exists between the salesman trying to play tug-of-war with the customers. They leave you enough time to take a look around the vehicle. Once we looked satisfied with the vehicle, they chime in to help you. Adam was very courteous and a pleasure to work with. Very transparent about the pricing which I must emphasize other dealers can be very shady about.The deal was made within reasonable amount of time. We all know that getting a new car is not a 3 min job. I believe his timing was reasonable for the request I was making.On the day of receiving the car, another gentleman went over the car functions within 30 min. Having a new infotainment system in the car, the help from the knowledgeable staff was a pleasure. He made mistake at one point, but he apologized and course corrected himself. That shows how genuine they can be rather than making excuses.A lot of people have bad experiences at the dealer. For me, this dealer did not have any negative connotation at all. Makes me think about going back again once the lease is up.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Ramsey Subaru. last night, spoke with Matt on the phone, AND was sent a price in writing via email (below) for the exact car i was going in with intent of purchasing. Head into the showroom with this price in mind, only to find out there is a hidden $3,000 MARKETING fee to charge customers above and beyond the MSRP. Nowhere in this email does it mention MSRP, or this marketing fee. So instead of the 33,614 the cost was now 36,614. The salesperson (James/Jim) went and got his manager when i mentioned they were using bait and switch to lure customers into their showroom. The manager was so kind to tell me that he would take $500 off this hidden marketing fee so that i would then only pay $2500 above the price i was told less than 24 hours prior. I completely understand that car demand is high and supply is low, but giving a customers a price one day only to increase it once they are in the showroom is bait and switch, and frankly illegal. Will never shop at Ramsey Subaru again, and would highly advise not working with salespeople who use illegal tactics to get people into their showroom.

Isaia Morales was terrific to work with. Answered all of my questions and provided clarification on some things I’d forgotten how to use properly in the car. He was very patient and kind. Luckily I had a servicing appt after getting an email from Starlink the nite below there was a pressure problem w/ right rear tire. Isaia‘s team found a nail, and the tire had to be replaced. And, he ordered the part for my hatchback. I haven’t been able to open it manually the past week.

Given todays market conditions, its not a great time to buy, but this dealer and salesperson Jim Stampfl were great to work with: knowledgeable, respectful and fair...no hassle or haggle. And they have inventory.

Brought my car in for a recall. Dropped my car off in a hurry in the morning where ii was promised that i would be able to pick up the loner car and be on my way in no more than 15 minutes. After nearly a half hour i complained and this 5ft husky dude (employee od Ramsey Subaru) got within inches of my face ant threatened me, like we were in a street fight. Got the loner car and drove off. After driving off i realize the car was filthy. The radio touch screen looked as though the person before me was eating and smeared the screen up. Checked the back seat and it was worse. There was food all over it like a baby was back there. Under the drives front seat there was half eaten food. It was really gross. Brought the car back an the workers could care less. The service manager Chris apologized but it was a lousy experience. Would i use them again? I don’t know the Subaru dealer on kinderkamack road in Westwood would probably be a wise choice. They are nice family people who treat people better. Just my opinion. Hope this helps.

Ive been meaning to post this for a while. Finally getting around to it. I was debating between several cars before I decided that due to my new commute the full time 4 wheel drive would be beneficial. I worked with Larry Gantt, who was great. I went back and forth between what I wanted in the car. He was patient along the way and wasnt pushy. Nothing drives me crazier than pushy car salesman. I looked at several models of the legacy before finally settling on the sport. Again Larry was patient and did the work to make sure he found a car I was happy with.Were actually in the market for a family suv now and Ill definitely be checking out the ascent and hopefully Larry can help us out again.
