One of THE BEST educators for new beginner embroidery class (Embroidery 101). All inclusive class. No machines to lug to class, no materials... it was great! Great information: basic saving/ uploading files, types of stabilizer & their uses, basic embroidery supplies, needles, thread, & bobbin. Made a tea towel (using an applique) & a monogrammed hand towel. Jordan & Maddie are super helpful & knowledgeable. They make a great team!

I love this sewing shop! Jordan & Maddie are so nice and helpful. They have beautiful fabric and precuts. Recently took their Embroidery 101 class to brush up on some basic embroidery skills. It was well worth it! The class was very informative and we got to watch a video of Missy Billingsley during our lunch break. I thought that was a great idea! They even provided us lunch! Always good fellowship and a great learning experience! Thanks so much Jordan & Maddie for your patience and sharing your tips, tricks, and knowledge of embroidery and sewing projects!

I have been shopping at Carolina Sew-N-Vac in Raleigh, NC for the past 10 years. I have purchased several machines from them and they have always given me the best customer service, one on one lessons and always willing to answer my questions. Very family oriented and willing to work with you on the best deal possible. Great fabric and lots of notions. The free seminars (July & Nov.) are wonderful with great sewing, serger, embroidery tips and techniques and gift ideas for all occasions. Baby Lock machines run so smoothly, low maintenance, very dependable, and top quality. They are very easy to operate too. Kim and Earl (owners) are the best! Support our local vendors!

I bought my BabyLock Journey from the Raleigh store and have been back 2 or 3 times with questions about how to do some projects with this machine. It is so smart!! Everyone in the store has been helpful and patient with my learning curve. Most recently, I was in Cary & stopped by the South Hills store. My questions were answered & I got a couple of impromptu mini lessons to boot. They suggested that I call & set up a time for my free lessons to help me utilize all the features. I will be doing that soon!

I just purchased a Babylock sewing machine from Carolina Sew-N-Vac in Raleigh and was impressed by the number and types of machines they have set up in the store. They have a wonderful selection of quilting fabric and supplies and because I purchased a machine there, I will always get a 20% discount on all future purchases! They also offer several sewing, quilting, and embroidery classes which I plan to attend. All in all, I had a wonderful experience here and am so glad I found this store!

This is my favorite place to shop for all my sewing/quilting needs. Everyone is so knowledgeable and freindly. They really make you feel like family and look for ways to help stay within any budget. The machine service it next to none. They are the best, they will even come pick up my machine that is too heavy for me to get to the shop by myself. Thanks Kim, Earl, Mike, Kay, and the rest of the gang for all the help you provide when I get stuck on something.

We went in there for a Kirby Vacuum part. The gal told us they could only do belts and bags. I saw beater brushes sitting on a shelf and asked her if they repaired vacuum cleaners, and had parts for them, since I may also need a beater brush......... So she went to the other side of the room to talk to somebody. When she came back, she told me the Technician would be in tomorrow thru Saturday only, and could talk to me about parts then. (So what was all the runaround about if they do more than just belts and bags? Why not just tell me up front that they didnt have a Technician there today?) Nope, I dont think we will be back to get our parts from the Cary store anymore.

Carolina Sew n Vac is THE BEST in the business! If you have interest in sewing, quilting, embroidery you MUST visit Carolina Sew n Vac in either location Raleigh or Cary NC. The owners are Fabulous! I drive 40 miles to Raleigh store to get the things I want/need. I have bought a total of 3 machines, last one was Enterprise 10 needle embroidery and I love it. I bought software, MasterWorks, DesignGallery etc...My Enterprise 10 Needle, I love it so much I hate to part with it, even for routine service. Its my baby! This family gives the most courtesy, most respect, most kindeness, you will not receive customer service like this from any other business. They provide all the support you need, even if you need to be told or show several times, you receive the support with a caring an upmost respectful manner. In this day and time this my friends is remarkable! I give a 10 Star Rating!I challenge all to visit and make your purchase from this locally owner business! Support Local youll never go wrong.I have been a customer for at least 10 years now.
