We dropped off my wifes sewing machine for a tune up. Matt was courteous, engaged, and knowledgeable. The store was neat and well organized. Well pick up the sewing machine in about a month and will post another review then. We expect the best.

Made a drive all the way from Durham, after a call earlier in the week to the shop to confirm hours, only to find the place closed, despite the posted hours even in the window showing that they should be open. No answer to a phone call made to the store number.

I found this shop about a year ago when I came home for a visit. I cant believe I didnt know they existed. I love that they have a selection of more modern fabrics by designers such as Alison Glass, Tula Pink, and Ruby Star. Although they arent a huge shop like a couple others in the area, they are a must stop because of the fabrics they carry that others do not. Staff is friendly and I always look forward to visiting.

Excellent Viking and Pfaff dealer! Come here if you need a new (or another) machine! They carry Tula Pink( which Im obsessed with) and have Moda solids!! Employees are friendly and offered their suggestions for products and where I could find a something they didnt carry in store. Will be coming back when my machine needs service and when my fabric stash runs low!

Stopped in this Sewing shop in search of unique Fabric. Did see a few items I would be interested in purchasing in the future. Lady pushing a cart asked What are you looking for? I responded Star Wars Fabric. She just said Nope, not here. Returned to what ever she was doing .I left. I wont return for any business. Reason being, customer service was lacking. Perhaps, offer other places and suggestions. Customers will see you actually care and will return and give your establishment business.

We arrived around 5:30pm on Tuesday and after checking Google thought they were open until 7, however the store was closed. We were disappointed as we were only in town to grab the pattern for the row by row experience and would miss their pretty row. The ladies who ran it came out as we were standing outside and very kindly agreed to let us come in and get the patterns from them. We didnt shop around, but their selection looked large and just by this experience if Im ever in town again I will definitely stop in to visit.

In February 2016, I contacted Danny Goux at My Sewing Shoppe about 2 issues with my Pfaff Grand Quilter machine: irregular tension and an adjustment on the thread cutter. (The thread cutter has previously been adjusted by a Greensboro technician). Initially I spoke with Danny on the phone, and when I dropped off my machine for repair, I left a letter reiterating our conversation and the two issues I wanted addressed. Three weeks later I picked up my machine and it sewed great but the thread cutter issue had not been addressed. I sent him an email and Danny’s reply was, “I never use the cutters when I am piecing” and that no adjustments could be made. He never told me this information in the initial phone conversation, nor communicated that to me prior to me paying and picking up my machine. I give My Sewing Shoppe 2 stars for being able to adjust the tension on my machine and a 0 for customer service for a total one star rating.
