I enjoy Rocky Mountain chocolate factory. The candy apples are to die for. I get the Apple pie apple faithfully! They also have chocolates. Even Ice Cream!!! Boxed chocolates to take as gifts and they will cut your apples for you if you plan on eating it soon. But dont have it cut if your saving it for l8r. I havent had too many of the truffles and treats but its def. Worth stopping by.

Omg I love this place!! They actually have GOOD homemade fudge! Its absolutely delicious! And the best chocolate truffles Ive had since Godiva. My new favorite is the orange and raspberry jellies, which you can get in milk or dark chocolate. To die for! There might be a little sticker shock, as good candy isnt cheap! But trust me, its worth every penny!!

Im not a big chocolate person myself. With that being said. I ventured inside this establishment one day just to check out their selection. Needless to say I eat there quite often now. They have a nice selection of candy apples that are so delicious. I normally buy about six of them at a time. My favorite is the traditional red candy apple but they have several others. If you havent tried them you should. They use very crisp granny smith apples. 100% better than any candy apples youd find at any carnival or fair.

I just left here with 4 friends and went to Cold Stone Creamery. Rocky Mountain had absolutely no ice cream cones or cups to sell ice cream. You just lost 5 customers today that will not return.

Great candy apples! I always stop in to get one if I ever come to Brier Creek. Prices are kind of high. Service is ok. I recommend the apple pie apple...it looks basic but its the best!

I always stop by when I get the need to indulge myself a bit. They have a lot of selections, ranging from subtle to very over the top. I usually get the cheesecake Apple but recently tried the chocolate cheesecake version and loved it. Real nice spot and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend if you have a sweet tooth

This is One of my favorite desserts place! Their apples are amazing! They are a tab bit expensive but they are definitely worth the cost! My favorite is the Dirt & Worms Apple, it’s delicious!

Unfortunately, I gave this place a 2nd chance! Very upsetting experience today!I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! (See pictures)My friend and I went today to enjoy an apple and just have girl talk. My friends apple had GREEN MOLD in the center. I hope and pray my friend is ok. (She didnt see it til she had eaten the apple. Mold was under the chocolate in the center/core.)The first time we went there, it was my apple that had GREEN MOLD. I complained about it. But apparently their health and food safety practices have not changed. I also have pictures of it. For your safety, please dont go there.

If I could give it 0 stars I would . So I called them over the phone and talked with someone who told me the price was 25 or 30 dollars for a dozen chocolate covered strawberries. Took my card and everything.I walk in today to grab them and the price is DOUBLED. its the day before valentines and the smug guy at the counter said that it was a mistake by someone else. In that situation am I crazy to assume they should honor what they quoted me? Not only will I never use them but when I have the time I Will let anyone wanting to listen about this terrible experience. Just terrible but I cant bring home right strawberries to my pregnant wife and say here is your mediocre valentines! This place was really bad.

I used to love this place and their chocolate apples. I now eat dairy free and I was hoping to get a vegan chocolate option, but the staff didn’t know if there were any dairy free options... I couldn’t even see the ingredients. So disappointing!

Wife and I stopped on the way to the airport last week. I figured Id surprise her with an Apple Pie apple when I picked her up.

The sign said they closed at 9pm and we are here and the guy has the door locked at 8:00pm. He looked at us and ignored us, Didnt even say if they was open or closed.

I called & spoke to a young girl named Vanessa tonight around closing time. I had questions about the dipped apples I saw online. She was very helpful, actually nice & answered all my questions without any attitude! I am so impressed that there are actually nice people willing to go out of their way! I look forward to shopping at this location soon & hopefully get to meet her in person!

The candy apples are delicious. A little expensive but worth it if shared between two people. The staff was nice. They have a veteran discount and also a punch card! Dont forget to get one.

I love the macadamia nut toffee at Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory. They have awesome caramel apples that are made in house. Some of the apples have so many crazy toppings that I dont understand how people eat them on a stick. I always take them home and cut them in slices and share with a few guests. I gave this rocky mountain 4 stars instead of 5 because they dont have brownies at this location. The location in Charlotte airport had the best brownies Ive ever had. I always bring one home for my husband if I fly through there. The girl that was working at the the Raliegh location was VERY nice. She said they have never had brownies at this location and I told her about how great they are. I did buy some toffee for my brother (its his favorite).

This used to be my FAVORITE candy apple spot but I think they now have a new recipe for their original red candy apples where the candy is tacky ( and I mean tacky...you can barely even open your mouth to chew)and not crisp. Also the apple itself wasnt as crisp as it usually is. I wish they would go back to their original way of doing things because they were always perfect. I will still go for their apple pie candy apples which are still amazing but not happy about the new change for the original apples. They also have a wide variety of other treats from rice krispie treats, fudge, chocolates and even ice cream. I just wish they would get back to the high quality candy apples they used to make.

So. Anyone that knows me knows that I love this place. I have always walked in and gotten a pecan apple with white chocolate added to it without any problem. Well the people there now would not do it, so yall just lost a 5 apple sale! I wont be back to this one

Yesterday was the first time we tried candied apples ( we got the smores one) and boy, they were great, the apples seemed fresh, the sourness of it compliments the sweetness of the smores and chocolate drizzle so well. I also got some sugar free treats, which in my opinion or ok, not mind blowing. Prices are expensive tho

The girl that waited on me took entirely too long to cut and weigh my fudge. This was a gift for a coworker but she cut it up in little slivers trying to get the correct weight and it looked so horrible there was no way I could give it as a gift. Their fudge tastes amazing but it is $15 a lb and they do not offer any discounts for purchasing more than 1 pound like other fudge chains offer. I doubt Ill go back.

I’ve been coming here for over 2 years and the manager takes pride in her products but the other staff employees does not. After today’s experience with the young co worker turned me off. I paid over $40 for chocolate covered strawberries that was the size of a raspberry and they were dipped so sloppy. Down to my box had chocolate over it. Not to mention her lil boyfriend that came in distracted her probably trying to rush us out so she could talk to him

Too bad the CHOCOLATE does NOT match the prices that they charge the unsuspecting public! They should be ashamed in the very least, closed down is more like it, and fined.They think we are the dumbest Americans. The Swiss who are world renowned for their chocolate would have a field day if that they had the NERVE to pass off this brown stuff they so badly call chocolate. The sweets were amazing of course however the customer service today was absolutely ridiculous. Not only did the girl see me waiting at the counter to be attended to she proceeded to microwave and decorate several apples be for even acknowledging my existence for about 3 minutes she was extremely rude AND condescending to my mother who was excited to try the sweets I raved about but we found out by the customers in front that she was rude to them as well. when one of the ladies asked to switch out an apple the employee flat out told her NO. I have family coming down to visit soon who couldnt wait to try the sweets but I will NOT be bringing them to this location. I will go above and beyond to stop people from coming to this location until something is done.

Today I tried to give the briar creek location another chance. But I guess they dont want my business. I went in to purchase apple for my staff for a Christmas party totaling 60 plus dollars these apple are for different people so I wanted them boxed separately which I have had done many times but today they want to charge me .50 per box ( which Ive never been charged before) so they chose to lose 60.00 in sales over 3 dollars for boxes which they give away all the time. I will NEVER go back to any of your locations again an I will tell everyone I know to never buy from you because of your terrible customer service... Thanks for nothing SeanWhat bothers me is that I really like your candies and hate that 3 dollars worth of boxes that you have given me many many times for free has stopped me from enjoying something I like. If I always had to pay for the boxes it would not be an issue but you cant pick an choose who or when you charge for something.

$3.50 for a half scoop of ice cream. $3.50! The nice lady working there gave me a little more and said the store manager told them to give that small amount. Dont sell ice cream if that is the best you can do.

This store is a sad comparison to the old Southpoint location. The place smells like cleaner and everytime I have bought a milk chocolate pecan bear claw it smells and tastes like the smell of the store. Its really bad. Also, the caramel inside is never fresh and just bleh.

Great product and service--mostly given as gifts for very special people-and occasionally treat ourselves too--have been to Durango, Co and had a great time.

White chocolate - Apple pie candy apple. The best

We were told this company had cheesecake caramel apples that were out of this world amazing so we wanted to try them. Without having a location too close to home for us to drive to we decided to order online. We placed the order for 2 of these apples last THURSDAY. Upon check out it asked if we would like overnight shipping to received items by next business day, which would be FRIDAY correct? Okay, so we paid the extra money.. little over $20 I believe for the overnight shipping. We assumed they would process and ship the order on Friday and we would have the apples by Saturday. When Friday evening rolled around and we had received an email saying it was shipped and then tracked the package only to find out the shipper, Rocky Mt, had cancelled the shipment.. we contacted customer service via email immediately. They responded back stating the site clearly says they do not ship apples on Fridays at all so they would be shipped MONDAY and received by TUESDAY because again, over night means very next day. When I explained to them that their site said NOTHING about not shipping apples on Fridays, which it did not between adding them to cart and check out, they responded back saying they would notify the webmaster so it could be corrected. The only solution they offered was cancelling the order. No discount on shipping that we had been lied to about. No discount at all. Just cancel your order... Thats very poor customer service and a very rude way of basically saying we dont need your business, we have plenty as is.So here we are on Monday. I just received another email saying it had been shipped. I clicked the link to track the package and even contacted the carrier delivering it. These items will not arrive until WEDNESDAY. That is NOT over night shipping. So I suggest if you want to use this company, do so in person. Maybe that experience is better. This was my first experience with the company at all and I will not be purchasing through them again, not even in person. The horrible customer service completely ruined the entire experience for us.

Picked 4 caramel apples and that night when to eat one. The first one the stick came out as I picked it up. I turned it over and it looked like there was a hole in the apple so I pushed on it and 1/4 of the apple was rotten out. Spent $45 bucks for 4 apples and some candy. Very disappointed

This place is terrible. The chocolate is never fresh. Nothing there is ever fresh. Unfortunately, when I tried buying online directly from RMCF, this store processed the order, and I got the nasty old chocolate I was trying to avoid from this location. I will no longer purchase RMCF products online or in person.

I got the chocolate cover pineapple. It was just a lot of dark chocolate with a yellow colored goo inside. Tasted nothing like pineapple. Terrible.

How embarrassing the service is!We all know the product is great - but good lord, get someone in here who has a lick of common sense.Zero acknolwedgment from either of the two girls running the store. Took 35 minutes for them to finish trying to pawn all the customers off on each other before one person in our party got to place their order. The workers then tried to help the people behind us instead of taking the rest of our groups order. That didnt fly, I had to intervene and require our order be finished before they went on to customers who just came in the store.How frustrating and sad. Spent $100 bucks here, next time well buy gas station candy bars.

I used to love this place but today I was underwhelmed and unimpressed. The pecan bear apple that I got had no flavor. No tart granny smith flavor at all and it wasnt crisp like it should have been. In addition to that the caramel on it didnt seem fresh at all. I hadnt been here in ages. It appears that things have changed. I doubt seriously that Ill be returning.

My secret fantasy is to live next door to a RMCF. So few are left but I still love to stop by when I see one.

Its very sad to me how bad this RMCF is compared to the one that used to be in southpoint. We bought apples there all the time and they were always great. Weve tried this one 3 times now, the first time my Black Bear apple was pretty mealy, like a potato. Thats unusual with a Granny Smith Apple, but I thought maybe theyd just gotten a bad batch. The second time was the same so I decided I was done with this RMCF. Last night my daughter went to dinner at a restaurant at Brier Creek and got apples for all of us. The Black Bear apple she got for me wasnt old, it was completely rotten inside. She felt terrible and told me that when they tried to pick the black bear apple up, the sticks on the first two fell out. It fell out of this one too, and it turned out to be rotten, so I suspect the others were too. Not sure why they are buying old rotten apples when they charge so much, but Im done with this RMCF, which is a shame because the others weve been to were great.
