Recently had the opportunity to look for some furniture for my new place. Shopping for furniture during the pandemic has been a real chore with worries about COVID and dealing with supply shortages . I gave Rooms to Go ( Glenwood Ave store in Raleigh NC) a try and was more than impressed. Lynn Clark the sales associate that helped me was professional and efficient. Her accurate information about the products and delivery expectations were excellent. Some of my purchases are still to be delivered but I did take home some wall art . Once again, I was impressed by the warehouse staff who carefully wrapped and helped me load. All in all, this was a great purchasing experience all due to Lynn and the warehouse staff there.

The “Guy named Joe” helped us so much with our purchase today. He was so informative and helpful. Answered all our questions. He made us feel so comfortable. We are so excited about our new furniture. Thanks Joe!

I’m definitely a person who is picky and a stickler for good customer service. I’m just beginning my search for furniture in this new pandemic world but, Latoya has made the decision clear that Roomstogo is where I need to be. I haven’t purchased a couch since my daughter was little so a lot has changed. I’m really glad I have Latoya here to help me decide and tell me the truth about quality concerns. I’m still not ready to buy but her professionalism and great service after I told her I’m just browsing. I expected her to leave me alone but she did a great dance between being helpful but not obtrusive. It warranted a review now because it’s easy to forget to send a review later. Great service! My furniture was delivered on time, packaged carefully and looks great. Delivery was within a few days of purchase. They mistakenly delivered part of someone elses order with mine. I called the store, and they arranged a pick up within the hour.

Purchased a sectional in June. It got delivered in two separate shipments. First piece of sectional delivered filthy. Got it reordered, waited another six weeks and its delivered dirty again. Customer service is terrible and all they want to do is reorder. Stay far away from this place. They could care less how long you wait or how much you spend. I have to wait until December 16th now for the third try. Find a local furniture store who care about their customers and their reputation.

Today turned out to be a none stressful experience all because of Austin. He took the time to answer all my questions and was able to assist me and my mom choose the right couch set she needed. I have no patience when it comes to furniture shopping but Austin made the process so smooth and easy that it literally didn’t take long at all. We came by this store a couple of times while furniture shopping and had a really pleasant experience here. The sales rep that attended to us was really nice. She wasn’t forceful or trying hard to force sell us. We felt like we remained in charge of our budget and our decisions. The entire store felt very cozy and warm, I guess they did a good job in making the entire space look like a home lol!Although I would recommend going on weekdays and avoid weekends if you can. A lot of folks out there on weekends and public holiday. Best time to visit in my opinion is weekdays evening.

DO NOT BUY FROM ROOMS TO GO WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EVEN WITH THE PANDEMIC! First of all I paid for my furniture to be assembled on the 23rd of July and it is now August 13th and my bed still isnt assembled! They brought the wrong footboard the first time, the second time I rescheduled they said no one was home so they left (I have a ring door bell and no one even knocked!), and then the third time they came to supposedly finally assemble the bed they were missing screws… When I called the store the manager practically told me life wasnt fair… that to me is unacceptable. If I am spending over 2k with your store youd think theyd at least be more professional. If you want your furniture on time I would highly recommend going anywhere else. As well as the furniture becoming faulty.. oh and the very long wait times over the phone !

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Joey! We walked in and he immediately made us feel welcome. Once explaining what we were looking for he completely hit the mark! We got the perfect couch for our apartment and we just can’t say enough good things about the quality of the product we received as well as the excellent customer service Joey provided. Donna was my sales person and she was AMAZING!!!! She was very knowledgeable about the product I was looking for, she even went as far as to retrieve a tape measure to insure my purchase would fit in my place. Donna explained everything to me from start to finish and she didn’t make me feel rushed or like I was just another sale for her. I would definitely go back to make another purchase with her.

Do not ever buy furniture from this location if you have to deal with Scarlett. We bought a couch, dining table, and a coffee table set… everything came broke! Trust me when I say we’ve been nice and understanding because covid but this is absolutely ridiculous. The photos pictured are when they came to “replace” everything, it was also broke!We had went up to the store to tell them what happened but had one of the RUDEST customer service employee I’ve ever met. This girl walked away mid sentence while we were talking to her about our order. She could not care less about trying to help us get what we paid for. Another employee (Renee) who seen how Scarlett was treating us, apologized to us for how rude she was. Renee if you see this thank you for trying to help my mom that barley speaks English and being patient! I’m also sorry you have to work with someone like Scarlett.As for Scarlett I am in shock that rooms to go has someone like you behind their customer service counter.

We went in Rooms to Go looking for something semi specific and the guy Joe was very helpful and forth coming about all included pricing so that there were no hidden fees. All of our interactions were smooth, and their internal systems seemed to work quite well. Spencer (patio) and LA (furniture) were informative and never pressured. Questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. For our current needs, this was a great fit and experience!

She also was very professional, and not pushy, like a lot of salesman can be; I didn’t feel any pressure at all to buy a certain product, she literally was there to help me find which mattress fit me best! She presented us with several options, offered helpful suggestions, and demonstrated patience as we compared swatches and took our time making our final selections. I went to Rooms To Go today searching for a mattress. I was greeted by Jackie who was super kind and very knowledgeable. I’m indecisive at times so I spent a great deal of time going back and forth between the Sealy and Portia mattress. Jackie was very patient allowing me to test each mattress multiple times while she explained the difference between the two. I purchased the Portia Therapedic and I’m beyond satisfied with my purchase and experience today.

I am only giving 2 stars because I like the furniture, otherwise it would be a 1 star. The customer service at this store is horrible. The sales reps tell you one price and then you get the statement and the price is higher. I also placed an order over the phone and was told I had to go through an email to pay for the merchandise. So i followed the instructions and noticed I was being charged for delivery/shipping fee when I would be doing pick up. . I called the sales rep and he stated he could not change the status to pick up until the order was paid for and processed. So I called back once I paid for it online. Then I was told I had to wait 3-5 business day to get my refund. I expressed that this was inconvenient and the sales rep proceed to argue with me. I will be canceling my R2G card.

Deana started off greeting us. Explained we just needed time to look. Once we were ready she was on break so Diane Scott took over. Very friendly. Explained the delivery time line of each item.. Offered solutions like reverse order to get a month sooner. Added fabric care to help avoided spills n stains. Explained everything. What you want when buying furniture.

We had a great customer service experience with LA. Terrific salesman, good balance of very helpful, but not imposing in any way. Gave us space till we were ready to chat then helped us figure out best options, deals, and availability. Highly recommend!

Spencer is hands down the best sales person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We were really struggling to find the right mattress, but she was super knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions and help us make an educated decision. If anyone is in the market for a mattress, I highly recommend purchasing through her.

Beautiful showroom and nice professional , patience salesperson Victor , there system was not working and manager wasnt very polite, was quite insulting and not very helpful. I would recommend going their I was in town visiting family and I always want to stop there. This young lady Latoya stop me and was so polite, and did not rush me I was interested in buying a bedroom set for my New home and she explain everything in detail, I did buy at that time because I was just looking ,but Mrs. Matthews ask me for my phone number and gave me hers and she kept in touch with us to make sure I was satisfied with all the information she gave me. If I could give this establishment a negative five I would. I bought a almost $2000 living room suit from them a year ago. When I purchased my living room suit I was also approached about purchasing a warranty for almost $300 extra. When the warranty was first mentioned I was weary because I have animals and also nieces that in itself guarantees more wear and tear. I voiced this concern to the salesman he assured me any issues I had would be covered. Fast forward not even a year later my couch is a total wreck. I messaged the warranty department and what do you know. Everything I was assured would be covered apparently isnt. The furniture itself is low quality and has stains that I have no clue how they got there or were possible. I was promised by this salesman all complaints would be fixed and they have not been. My mother is currently taking matters into her own hands because this is a total disaster. I will never recommend this company. Save your time and money, look elsewear.

My sons both got jobs in NC this summer (Raleigh & Charlotte). New apartments and no furniture. I had to resort to ordering furniture online - sight unseen. When i started looking it was a horror story - stores out of inventory and no idea when they could get something in. First off was Charlotte. I had orders at 3 different places with not much arriving till months after he got there. The it was time for Raleigh. Started off about the same, nothing but aggravation. Then I found Rooms to Go, They had everything I needed for the Raleigh apartment, and could deliver it there on his FIRST DAY! I dealt with Dilo (Joe) over the phone and got everything all set. The next day it dawned upon me - maybe I could do the same with Charlotte. Called Joe back and got the Raleigh order duplicated with a new address. Again - furniture arriving on his first day. Thanks to Joe it was a breeze both times, quick & easy with no issues at all. And the furniture that came in blew me away. With this kind of pricing, quality, and customer service it is hard to imagine why anyone would go elsewhere!Thank you Joe!And thank you Rooms to Go!

My experience in this store has always been outstanding, however, I can not say that about some of the products they sale. My wife purchased a white loveseat from this store. In just 2 days she noticed that the color from her silk satin pajamas had transferred onto the loveseat and in 7 days the cup holder was cracking. I contacted customer service, here is their reply,” Hello valued customer,Thank you for contacting Rooms To Go! We are sorry to hear of your recent experience. Unfortunately, the manufactures warranty does not cover discoloration. We have set you up for a service call on 11/3 for a Tech to evaluate the cup holders and you will receive a call 1 day prior to inform you of the timeframe. We were looking for a sofa and stopped in Rooms To Go. They had some pieces we liked however it was difficult to find a sales associate. We finally got one. The piece we wanted wouldnt be available for quite some time so we went elsewhere. Havent bought one yet though. Might go back

Kimberly did a great job helping us today. When we originally purchased our furniture, unfortunately, the rep that helped us did not seem to know what he was doing. (We missed out on some of the promotional coverages along with not getting all of the pieces we requested.) Coming in today, I fully expected the same confusion and headache, but Kimberly made the whole process quick and easy. She also made sure we were fully aware of any promotions and coverages to ensure that our purchase would be worth while in the long run. Definitely ask for her the next time youre considering buying from Rooms to Go!

I went into the store knowing basically exactly what I wanted. Donnell the sales person met me right as I was about to look for a sales representative. He told all the information I needed to know about the products I was looking at as well as some options to think about. I ultimately chose what I was going for in the first place but appreciate the other suggestions. Diane was the best! She answered all my questions and got me in/out quickly and efficiently! She took time to ensure that everything I wanted in my bedroom suit was fulfilled. I came in just browsing and left with a beautiful 7-piece King Bedroom Set. Definitely would buy from here again, and recommend Diane to anyone!

I went in to look for new furniture for my den downstairs. I walked in on Monday afternoon, and was greeted immediately but I was not ready for assistance at that time. I wandered around for a little over a hour as I was approached again. This time by a different associate, Latoya R.! I was ready to ask a few questions at that time and so I did. I told her someone greeted me when I first walked in, she was professional and said she would still answer all of my questions and then lead me back to them. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. We continued to discuss different options as she educated me along the way. We had been speaking for at least :30 if not more when I asked her if she was working until 9; she replied, “ I was walking out when I checked on you “, she was already off but I had no idea. She treated me as if she was just clocking in. I did not want to keep her any longer so we made an appointment for today and she was waiting on me when I walked in the door. Her professionalism picked right up where we left off from Monday night and we proceeded to the transaction. Not only did we get my delivery set up for sooner than I expected, she also checked on a previous inquiry I had with a prior delivery going above and beyond what was required of herself. I am pleased with my purchase and I don’t have the product yet, how does that happen? It’s because Latoya does her job well, you can tell she loves what she does. I will go to her as well as recommended her for future purchases. Thank you for making me feel like a priority and for providing an exceptional guest experience.

Excellent customer service! I called needing assembly instructions for one of their beds as I had bought one secondhand without reassembly instructions. Shawn went above and beyond to get me the instructions I needed. Next time I need to buy new furniture I will be going here! Customer service goes a long way in my opinion.

Went in Saturday to look around for bedroom furniture, assuming supply chain slow downs meant I wouldn’t be able to get anything for months. Austin greeted me at the door, I showed him what I saw online and he checked the warehouse and found it, even got me expedited delivery and setup. He even convinced me to buy a Termperpedic mattress, which I was not in the market for. Very satisfied with my experience and Austin was great! Will definitely go back.
