Mitch Williams!! He was super easy to speak with! Has a very calming voice which helped out with my husband and I! It was our first time looking into trading a vehicle! I entered the automotive industry in 1989 back where I grew up in Central Florida. My first new car dealership job was at a Suzuki, Isuzu and Honda new car dealer. I’ve personally owned, bought and sold hundreds of cars. I’ve had family members make the drive from Central Florida to buy cars from the 1990’s up until currently in 2021. My mom has bought two different new Honda Pilots from Leith and she recently bought her dream car at Leith Toyota. She purchased a beautiful black 2021 TRD Off Road Toyota 4Runner 4wd. My property in the Blue Ridge Mountains has a deep rocky stream that REQUIRES four wheel drive to get to the house. She paid the suv off in less than 90 days. I’m proud of her and happy for her as well. She already has nearly 5000 miles on it and will be getting her first free oil change at Leith. Robert Holmes was our sales manager and George was our sales representative. They treated us exactly how it should be done. Not everyone does that. A few weeks ago my favorite human in the world (my daughter) and her EXTREMELY long term relationship partner bought a cream puff top of the line Toyota Corolla with only 30k miles on it. They loved George and Robert. The only weakness I experienced was with the finance manager. Plus you get $100 bucks if you send Leith a customer. GO SEE GEORGE you’ll love him. Tell him I sent you!!

We had to have the complimentary oil change, tire rotations, and some warranty work performed on my wifes 2021 Sienna hybrid. Upon arrival, they were ready for us, we went to the waiting area, where she received timely updates. They even sent her a video clip of the warranty work performed, and results, and told her that her van was complete, and that they would be up to see her shortly. That is where they lost 2 stars. Almost an hour later, she texted the service writer to find out where the van was. He had the paperwork a couple of minutes later, and we were on our way. This is the 2nd time that this has happened. Otherwise, these folks would be golden.

If you want an easy and honest car buying experience, AVOID this place. Particularly sales rep Jeffrey Smith. Him and His manager refused to uphold their end of the deal after it was agreed up on. I was not able to make a deal first so I left the dealership and then 10 minutes Iater I get a call from the sales rep Jeffrey Smith telling me that he really want to make a deal and would offer me $4000 for my trade in vehicle so I asked for $5000 which he agreed up on and asked me to come back with my title so I went home and got my title and went back to the dealership to realize that they only put down $4000! So I tell the rep that we have agreed up on $5000! What happened? he tried to tell me that they are going to use a $1000 to replace the trade in vehicle tires!! Which is not my problem because the reason I came back is that we made a clear deal over the phone. After that, he went and got his manager involved who did nothing except defending his rep like he was with us on the phone when we made the deal. He kept telling me that the rep told me that he can try to do $5000 which is not true cause I would not came back for that as I was clear. Anyways I would never go back here again even for a free vehicle.

Would award zero stars, if possible. I used their website to indicate that I was interested in a car, and never received any type of response. After several days I finally drove 40 minutes from my home to see the car in person. After a test drive, I told the salesperson I would absolutely commit to buy the car but needed to get confirmation from my credit union the following day as this was a holiday. I called early this morning as promised with secured financing and was told they sold the vehicle to someone else immediately after I left...without so much as a courtesy phone call to see if I wanted to close the deal with alternate financing or lose the opportunity to purchase it. Then the customer care service had the audacity to call me an hour later to see how everything went. What a horrible experience from start to (non-) finish. Would NOT recommend.

I highly recommend asking for Everett if you’re in the market for a new car because he was great! Working with Everett made buying a car easy! I usually hate car shopping but he was such a genuine person and knew what he was talking about which made the process way easier and way more enjoyable! Solomon in the finance department was very nice and easy to work with as well! He was able to explain things to us thoroughly when it came to picking final options and I left knowing we had made a good buy. Leith Toyota had a nice selection of both new and used cars so we were able to look at many cars and determine what we were looking for. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase.

Amazing service ALWAYS. This last time yet again reassured me that I will not go any other place than this for my car needs. I came for an oil change and apparently they forgot to put the sticker so I thought it was the change at 5K miles. Tyler came and told me that I don’t need it and was very honest and straightforward because of the type of oil they provided. Any other place would’ve taken advantage of that and charge me for oil change. It is the little BIG things that make the difference of a good and a great place!

I have bought 2 car with Leith in the last 6-7 months. I have worked with Mark Hay and Tim Grissom both times and the experience has been great. Mark is very accessible, easy to reach, and easy to deal with. Tim is also very responsive and cuts decent deals. I would highly encourage you ask for Mark when purchasing a car, and high recommend leith Toyota when purchasing a Toyota. They don’t have the additional dealer add-ons that increase the Retail Price of the vehicle so it’s more straight forward and transparent.GO SEE MARK HAY!

They also dont honer their coupons posted online in their website which stated price match guaranteed. The advisor stated I need to contact and get a printed quote from my recent service provider regardless of showing the receipt I provided.

My experience there was horrible my mother and my infant son were there with me no one including the salesman offered up anything to drink I was made a promise of once I got certain paperwork in that they could get me in the vehicle that I was looking for without any problems without any down payment I can understand some things changing but they absolutely blew me away with the down payment they said I was requiring as well as they low-balled me on my trade-in would not recommend this place will not be going back myself and result Im still stuck with the same vehicle did Ive been trying to trade

Next available appointment for an oil change was booked 6 days out. At check in, I specifically asked for the complementary car wash to be completed since it was missed at my last visit. I had a coupon from their website for an oil change/tire rotation for $89.95. Waited an hour and a half for the service and my bill came to $118.62 because they said one quart of oil was not covered by the coupon. Dont have coupons on the website if you arent going to accept them as listed (it would have also been nice to have full disclosure/exceptions of the coupon posted). Car was once again NOT washed. I will be trying a different dealership

Let me start by saying the sales person I spoke to over the phone was amazing. The associate helped negotiate the price of the car down and then we came in store to access the trade. That’s where the problem started, the general manager gave less than half of the trade in value listed on KBB due to one roof dent in the car. Given the high prices in the used market it seemed like the dealership wanted to pull a fast one by offering an uneducated customer a low amount for their car. They stated that they needed to put in $4000 in repairs, but as is evident from other google reviews, they don’t fix issues on their old inventory. Nor were they interested in working with us to raise the price of the trade in. We did end up buying a new car from another dealership that gave double for my trade in before negotiation. It’s their way or highway. Avoid Leith if your going to trade in, it’s a scam.

Got our Highlander on this dealership. Patrick is nice, he was able to help us choose and got everything we need. His supervisor/manager did a great job too. Its like helping us to buy not forcing us with anything.Except, thumbs down to the manager that offers gap insurance. We turned down all his offers then suddenly his mood changed. Made us very uncomfortable. Please next time accept customers decicion when offer is declined. Wont mention name. And he even said drive safely with sarcastic tone when we did not get the gap. It’s definitely NOT easier here!Worst car buying experience ever. The culture of the used car department is to fleece the buyer and offer you as little as possible rather than a fair price. Multiple hours spent at the dealership to finally get an offer on our trade in that was marginally close to the Kelly blue book, and then had to haggle again over the repairs that they should have provided on the car we were buying. Wouldn’t even provide a full gas tank when the car was sold! Charge $698 for document fee. Offered us an interest rate nearly double the market rate based on our credit score. I hate to think how they are taking advantage of unaware buyers. Lost our trust and the deal fell through.

On 7/29/21 I came into leith Toyota for a oil change and had a horrible experience. I bought my vehicle from here and every-time I get Julia as a advisor I have a horrible experience. I’m not sure if she doesn’t like African American or she’s just grumpy and miserable. I don’t care if you have personal issues against a group or etc. when you work customer service you should let everyone feel welcomed. This the third time I had her and my keys was either left in my car or front desk. Everyone else hands it to me. I would NOT be returning to this establishment. I’ll take my chances with another Toyota dealer.

I have a 2017 Toyota RAV4 XLE and needed a new inner tail light since water was getting inside the light. I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday afternoon, took off work and went to the service department. After they inspected my vehicle, they said I had condensation in 3 of my tail lights and water in one. They would have to order the part and I return the following morning. I took off 2 hours of work and went back to Leith that Wednesday morning at 7:30am. When checking out, I paid $233 for replacing my inner tail light and after reviewing my invoice, it said I declined a free multi point inspection, which I did not refuse. I paid, everything was good, so I thought. Something told me to check my tail light a few nights later while I was driving at night and the new tail light didn’t even work!! I call Toyota and they said the soonest appointment I could get in was this Thursday (a week away). I said I was worried about getting pulled over, but the representative said to tell the officer I have an appointment and everything should be fine. That was not good enough for me, so I decided to YouTube how to check my inner tail light myself. Sunday morning, I go to Advanced Auto, use their tools and check to see if it’s a faulty bulb. Leith Toyota didn’t even PUT A LIGHT BULB IN MY BRAND NEW TAIL LIGHT! Needless to say, I was VERY upset! I’ve reached out to the service technician and haven’t received a response and I’m scheduled to have the other tail light replaced this Thursday, but I’m not wanting to go back to Leith after this experience.I also noticed my toe eye cover below my headlight was missing and I called my service technician that morning to see if he had that specific part in stock. He said he would call/text me back shortly and I never received a response. So, I decided to drive back to Leith and go to the parts department myself and ask. Luckily, they had one cover left and I was able to purchase it that afternoon. However, I should’ve received a response prior to driving all the way to Leith, praying they’d have the part.I gave Leith 2 stars because the technician that helped me replace the eye cover was super helpful and is always friendly and cheerful. I can’t remember his name, but his attitude is definitely contagious and seems to genuinely care about the customers.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Went in for an oil change. They tried to push well over $1000 worth of nonsense on me. Fortunately I was smart enough to not go for any of it. Back home my local dealership looked at what they tried to get me to do and said not a single thing on there was needed or even recommended. Car dealerships already have a reputation for trying to rip people off, but Leith is by far the worst one Ive ever experienced. AVOID THEM AND GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!

I went to purchase a 2010 RAV4 for my Son in February. The salesperson did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, her management team is not holding up to the standards and awards that the dealership group has received. I want to specifically speak about the used car manager Jay. He offered me two oil changes if I would agree to their no haggle price. The price dropped within the next day or so. I spoke with him to negotiate in good faith and requested two extra oil changes, he gave me this excuse that he was working on his day off reducing vehicle inventory from home as if that is such a tough job. These dealerships have software that does all the pricing for them. All Jay had to do was import what the market conditions were for supply and demand through their sophisticated software. Although he would not agree to give me about $100 worth of service with my agreement to pay what they were asking for the vehicle, I decided that I would buy the vehicle. I sent emails and texts to them asking for information about protection plans and financing. I didnt get any response until the salesperson Zarina was back at work after being off for a couple of days. She informed me that the vehicle was sold and seemed genuinely upset about the way everything was handled while she was away. I found a private seller for the same vehicle. I would suggest looking at that option for anyone looking for a used vehicle in this market right now. I found a better vehicle for $500 less without the obscene $698 documentation fees that these dealers in North Carolina have decided to use. If it is taxable, it is negotiable. I found out through this experience that Leiths reputation was not what I had expected and read about. There is a phrase that one bad apple ruins the whole bunch. I may call Leith Toyota one day when I am ready to replace my 2019 Toyota RAV4 if the salesperson is still there because she did nothing wrong.. But if Jay is still employed by them, I will refuse to deal with that one. He is pushy, whines about work that he is paid to do, and unresponsive. If you shop at Leith Toyota, ask for another manager besides Jay. Im totally surprised that he has a management position at any major dealership. Although it took me a month longer, Jay and whoever else manages the customer email and text messaging service not responding saved me a ton of money. Thanks Jay! I hope you got a great feeling from not having to give away oil changes.My kid loves his new to him 2011 RAV 4 btw.

I really had a very bad experience with leith toyota @ the month of May I traded in my 2015 Toyota Corolla to get a different car for Family use which was done successfully. Then I took 2012 toyota prius, Four days after the car was driving Rough I call the sales department (dont want to mention Names here),they promise to get back to me . Few days after the call no response until the car was now undriveable I decided to visit the dealership, then I was advised to tow the car in.I actually bought the car from them almost $12000 ,After I towed the car to them the next day I got a call from leith toyota saying the only advice they have for me is to get a different car ,which is little bit interesting to me but they will buy the car for just $1000.Untill now am really confused about the situation blc now I dont have money, I dont have a car and I got a message from them asking me to pay almost $200 dollars to pick up a car thats not working at all.

I am still talking about the experience of purchasing my early birthday present, a 2021 RAVAXLE. The salesman, Adrian McCrae was wonderful. He asked appropriate questions and considered my budget and desire. Adrian showed us cars and answered all of our questions. Drove up in a 2021 Yukon AT4, looked around the lot for a inexpensive used vehicle for my sister and not a single sales person in sight. Had to track a sales person down to ask about a used Mazda that we couldnt seem to find and they didnt seem very interested in helping us locate it. They simply pointed in the direction they thought it should be but that was after they put us on hold for 10 minutes, standing there in the parking lot while they went off to do something else. We drove from Cary to look at this particular vehicle. We specified the price we were looking to pay and thats when they informed us that Leath does not haggle on price. That this Mazda that costs $4600 or so would be upwards of 6k after the fees. Seems steep in my opinion. Long story short, Poor service quality! Will not be back to this dealership for a single thing and I advise others to look somewhere else if thats the standard of service one can expect.

AVOID, PREDATORY PRACTICE TAKING PLACE HERE. Patrick and Alan Gidney in particular, do not honor written agreements, and create unreasonable circumstances to get you into a corner and buy. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to go alone, take someone with you who is aware of legality and what they can and cannot say and do. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF THEY CAN.

I contacted them a few times through online/email about a certain new vehicle I get called and set an appointment up. I drive over an hour, the salesperson was not expecting me as they confused what day I was to be there. I then remind them of the vehicle I was interested it, and after several minutes was told that it is being used as a demo vehicle and an employee has been using it. They need to take it to detail. They never told me this new vehicle had over 2,000 miles on it already. It had French fries in the middle row seat and someones golf clubs and clothes and such were in the back. That made checking out the third row impossible. The tires were curb rubbed on all 4, the driver door already had two small dings through the protection seal for that door. I let them know that was unacceptable and just wanted to leave, I was told all the benefits and price the dealer would offer. The price I was given was competitive, but the feel I got was awful to be brought a vehicle with a persons belongings in it

I bought a van there in 2019. Just called to ask for the window spec sheet on the van and they said I would have to drive there (1 hour each way) to request a copy of the document IN PERSON because they are too busy.Please explain the logic of how me driving there and wasting gas and time would change their level of how busy they are in the office. If anything, it increases how many potential COVID cases they have walking through the door.I was considering going there for my next vehicle in the coming weeks but this level of customer service is unacceptable and lazy.

I bought my 2019 Rav4 XLE on Carvana. I brought it to Leith first for a fuel pump recall and then for paint issues and Charles Boston in the service department and Bobby also in the service department helped me both times. Because of these two, I will be coming back to Leith forever and will be buying my next car here. They went way out of their way to help me, were incredibly kind, helpful and made the experiences I had at Leith enjoyable.. and this is coming from someone who hates car dealerships. I will be taking my rav4 here to be serviced forever and when I decide to purchase my next vehicle, it will be at Leith. Thank you to Charles and Bobby!! You’re both amazing!

Horrible experience! Wish ZERO stars was an option. There were so many lies by Patrick and the deceptive sales manager Alan Gidney. They verbalized and even put in writing one thing and then at the end said something completely different. Refused to abide by the terms that THEY agreed to. Save your time and money by avoiding this place.

I recently took my Toyota Prius in to have a combination meter replaced. When I received my car back they had busted my air vents and didn’t bother to tell me or fix it. Tyler said they can’t fix it, I will have to call Toyota. They also quoted me $584 for my total and then charged me $740 when picking up the vehicle. These people are crooks and Tyler was the service adviser handling the transaction and could have cared less. Bad service!

Mark Hay goes above and beyond his customers expectations. I would highly recommend you to request Mark(car sales) and Stanley (finance). They were a dream team for me this go around. I had previously purchased my FIRST brand new car with Mark in January.... unfortunately, my car was totaled in July. Mark checked up on me regularly. I really appreciated that because it was a rough time trying to get everything sorted out after suffering a total loss on my car. After getting everything sorted out Mark worked his magic again. They took great care of me. The customer service is outstanding. Because of Mark being so great at what he does, it was a very very easy process for me to now be in my second brand new car. I’m so excited and I love it already.Any future purchases that I need to make for cars for my teams that will be driving soon will definitely be through Mark.Thank you Mark Hay!!!

In December, I purchased a new truck from Leith Toyota and I had a great overall experience with my salesmen Mike Madrick. Mike was very knowledgeable and delivered a smooth no pressure experience on a Saturday afternoon. I was not able to agree on a purchase price on the truck that day but a few days later I returned to buy from Leith because of the straight forward professional communication Mike provided with the sales management which gave me a great out the door price.I have never written a review before but I would highly recommend working with Mike if you are interested on a new ride at Leith Toyota. A good experienced salesperson matters and it does make the overall process much easier.
