A friend of mine USED to work at D&E so when I asked for a recommendation for our Hondas I was surprised when he said he trusts them and would even send his mom there. I’ve taken our Odyssey and Pilot there multiple times and they’ve done a great job keeping my 04 Pilot in great shape so I can hand it down to my daughter and know it’s been taken care of. Last week I needed some repairs done and also asked about some optional service that I thought it might need. They were quick to tell me it wasn’t necessary to do this particular service unless something goes wrong. Especially during these lean times I was surprised to have a business recommend against a service I would have gladly paid for if it was useful. I can happily recommend D&E to anyone. Friendly, professional, and honest.

I first tried D & E after an unsatisfactory experience with the local Honda service department years and years ago. To be completely honest, I tried them due to the proximity to my workplace (on the same street). I no longer work across the street from D & E, and I tried a more convenient auto service company in Wake Forest where I live. I learned my lesson. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else. They are now taking care of my 4th Honda. They are trustworthy and reasonable with their charges. I have never second-guessed any maintenance or repairs they have recommended. Highly recommend!

At the suggestion of Duty Tire, (they are limited on Mercedes repairs, but highly recommended). I recently I took my car to D & E Quality Services for some repairs, including a PSE pump that Leith Mercedes diagnosed as faulty. Tim and his team of Mercedes mechanics quickly deduced that the PSE pump was working just fine. The problem was a broken door switch and a blown fuse to the PSE pump. A repair less than $75, whereas Leith charged me a diagnostic fee of $105 and a repair bill $1200 - $1500 for the non-functioning PSE pump. Tim is also redoing Leith’s work… replacing a brake light assembly kit that Leith replaced and “fixed” @ $572 repair fee. D & E has my forever business. Tim… the owner, a former mechanic at Leith has had his shop since 78’. He is fair, honest and as woman walking in with an expensive car to repair, I trust him not to rake me over the coals. His fees are reasonable @ 1/3 – 1/2 of the dealer cost. I will bring Tim and his team my Mercedes until the wheels fall off that car…but, they would be able to repair that as well 😊

I contacted D&E after a close friend recommended them and I was not disappointed! I had several problems with my Mercedes CLK320. A valve cover gasket leak, and a windshield washer problems. Quotes from Leith Mercedes were close to $2,000 for the repairs. I then had an additional issue with the convertible top. I finally called D&E and they wound up fixing all my issues for a small fraction of what the dealer had quoted. It was a wonderful expedience with courteous, friendly and knowledgeable staff providing great service at reasonable prices. I thanked my friend and would highly recommend D&E. I have found my new go to mechanic!

Ive been taking my two Hondas to D&E for over 5 years and they always do great work for the best price. My wife had a small leak in the main crank seal of her 2004 Honda Accord transmission. I wanted to go straight to D&E but decided to call around just in case... I called the Honda dealer and they said $700 without even looking at it. A guy in Knightdale said $300 but that he had to check something and call us back. He must have checked the dealer because he called back with a price of $500. D&E looked at it and quoted the entire job at $150. That was over a year ago and weve had no problems since. I am a customer for life after that experience.
