Manager was nice at first but I was extremely taken back by the cost of the overall work done. I was obligated to complete the job after learning what part I needed because I was already out $109 for “labor” of the assessment. The part that was needed was only $100. There was a total of 3 hours of labor. A simple fix turned in to an almost $600 job. Upon speaking with the manager, I was accused of “scrutinizing against them,” for simply asking what warranties for the work are included. Terrible experience. It’s a shame because I’m sure the work they do is great and trustworthy; however, I feel taken advantage of financially and displeased with the attitude from the manager. I wouldn’t recommend going here for small body work jobs out of pocket.

Got a great oil change and inspection done. Called first thing in the AM and got a same day appointment. Everything went well. Honest work, will go back.

Went in for an inspection. My vehicle failed because lack of catalytic converter and muffler. My vehicle clearly has both. Not sure what that’s about. Also failed because the O2 sensor was supposed be behind the Cat. That is 100% false. 99 and below it is in front. To top it off, they ran an emissions inspection when in fact a 1999 does not require one. This could be considered fraud and I will be talking to the DMV. These people aren’t “car” people and clearly are either uneducated or just not good at their job. Took the vehicle to another place right after and it passed like it has for the last 8 years. Not only do I recommend to not go here but I also recommend this place be closed for 2 weeks for training.

Took my car in for an oxygen sensor failure, known to me and them. That was all that I wanted repaired. They called me with a huge list of things that HAD to be replaced/repaired, cabin filter, air filter,, one and one. I took my car after them replaced the oxygen sensor to my regular mechanic, and yep, none of the things that they said had to be replaced were perfectly fine.

Great service. Today I went for NC dmv vehicle inspection. They work on appointments. The inspection was quick. I havent done any vheicle repair/maintenance service there. My review is for the conduct and vheicle inspection.

I could go one star but I had an appt to bring in my car for an axle replacement that they waited until the very end of the day to do which at that point they broke a cover bolt doing a realignment. Which they couldnt order that day because the dealership to get the part was closed. Then left the car there for a week for the part to show up and said it was all done and alignment complete. Drove it home and the power steering light came on and the steering wheel was askew a few degrees. Had to take it back in to have the alignment done right and fixed. Two week endeavor which was very costly to me.

I have a 2012 BMW 750i brought over to to have my spark plugs replaced (OEM) and i had a miss fire when i picked up it was determined i had 2 bad plugs, The tech(BUD) diagnosed the issues and rectified the problem and did not change me any extra The staff DAVIS(GM) MATT(STORE MGR) ERIC & MICHELLE(SVC ADVISORS) SIMON(SVC MGR) displayed A! customer service and made me feel welcome.... They located the problem, showed me the solution, and resolved the issue quickly.They ALSO pointed out a few other issues, so I scheduled them for the next day, and again they were prompt and professional. Atlantic Tire and Service has excellent customer service. They ordered special zero pressure (run on flat) tires for my car, and matched the lowest price I found on line. They were able to answer all my questions quickly and efficiently. I will continue to do business with them in the future.

State inspection was quick enough and completed without incident. Mask use was bad. Theres a sign on the front counter stating that the manager is exempt from wearing one. Sure enough, I was checked out and given my keys back by an employee with no mask on. No, sir. Wont be back after the pandemic is over either, I dont care how convenient it might be. They clearly dont care about their customers.

I had two tire pressure sensors replaced and was impressed by the friendliness, knowledge, and clear communication of the employee with whom I worked. I talked with a couple fellow Prius owners in the waiting space and they all praised this location for their honesty, competency, and reasonable prices.

I recently had my transmission serviced at this location. A few months later and Ive discovered that the technician at Atlantic Tire actually cut away part of the plastic protection shield underneath my car for easier access to the transmission drain. So instead of taking the time to properly unscrew and remove the shield, Atlantic Tire took a shortcut which resulted in damaging an entire other part on my car. It doesnt matter if all the other work they performed was good or not. The decision to damage my car instead of doing the work properly undermines absolutely everything about their service. I would not recommend this place.

I needed my car inspected. I called in the afternoon and the gentleman I spoke with was extremely helpful. He told me how long my appointment should take and what I needed to bring with me. I was able to schedule an appointment later that afternoon that was convenient for me. When I arrived the staff were extremely friendly to me and my two small children. The waiting area was clean (and we tried our best to leave it that way). My appointment took even less time than I was initially told which is always appreciated when doing errands with children. Thank you for such a great experience. I will definitely be back if/when my car needs servicing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! I was very impressed by their customer service and reasonable prices. I needed four lawn mower tires mounted and they were the only tire shop (out of the 3 or 4 that I called) willing to help me out. I will definitely give them a call when its time to put new tires on my truck. A++

I needed to get my car inspected & knew I needed a taillight replaced. I called to make sure they were capable of doing that & not just an inspection station. I had to ask twice because the guy didn’t listen the first time. They inspect the car & I have a license plate light out as well. Great, can you replace them? Yes. A few bucks? No, each bulb is $4, but the labor to install is $21.80. EACH! He said their labor rate is $109/hr. Including the $30 inspection fee, my total was $85.92. I paid it since I need to renew my tags, but I won’t be back. I gave 3 stars because they got me in quick & the work was adequate, but the price is ridiculous. If money is no object, this is your kind of place.

Been here a couple times for different reasons. Extremely professional crew. Was in and out today for a tire patch in under 30 minutes even with a large queue. Waiting room was immaculate and professionalism was exceptional. When I moved back to New England for a couple of years for work - I greatly missed this place.

I went here because I needed an oil change, and this was fairly priced and the location is convenient to my house. While I was there, I asked them to take a look at my brakes because I had started getting noise from them while braking. They called me to tell me I needed all four brake pads and rotors replaced, which, maybe, but that is not what made me want to leave this negative review. They quoted me $870 to do this work! I called a different Atlantic Tire location and they only quoted me $600. That is price gouging at its finest, or worst. Future customers, be sure to get multiple quotes before getting work done here. Two stars because the oil change was quick and fairly priced.

Atlantic Tire has provided quality service for the replacement of the tires on several of my cars. Most times I drop ship tires from TireRack and they perform the installation. Staff is always courteous, service is fast, and price is very fair. Overall, very please

Great Service. Took my wifes Audi in for some tire/front end noise. They took me right in. In about 20 mins, had it diagnosed as a front wheel bearing. Although I chose not to get the $800 service (I didnt want to spend any more money on such a lemon of a car), they were totally polite. I would have even paid for the time they did spend. Next time I have a car issue, they will be on my list!

I had my state inspection here. The staff was very courteous and service was quick. The main waiting room very clean. I will return for any service on my vehicle.

I left feeling that my car did not need alignment, when the report showed values so close above max! 0.01 above, indicated in red on the report, therefore needing alignment or your tires will not wear uniformly. Seriously... It did not need alignment, and an honest mechanic would tell me that. No thank you. Also masks are for clients only (and the manager, I suppose). Mechanics dont need to wear them. Logic?

Great front-end alignment job on my wifes rare 2006 Jaguar XK8 Victory Edition convertible. They followed my instructions to the letter and set the front toe specs exactly where I wanted them to be. Always appreciate shops willing to follow the owners direction since no one knows your vehicle as well as you do. Like all reputable shops they do stay busy so making an appointment is advised. I will return for all future alignment needs.

They were fast and efficient will likely come here again to get my vehicle serviced.

I needed new tires for my Chevy Tahoe i have been doing business with Atlantic Tire for over 20 years and had good service.I like to support local businesses. i didnt even get another price. I when into the store and asked for a price. i agreed to purchase four Michelin tires; i was given a quote for the four tires. when i picked up the car the price was $162.65 more than the quote i received for the tires. The extra charges were for scrap fee, computer balancing, valve stems, tire disposal fee, and road side protection. all of these items are accurate my complaint is when i asked for the quote on the tires i should have been given the INSTALLED PRICE none of these charges were mentioned when i agreed to buy the tires. . I also asked for a price on windshield wipers i was quoted a price of $18.50 so i agreed to get the wipers. when i got the bill the price was $37.00. the $18.50 was for one wiper, who purchases one wiper?. when i got the quote on the tires the salesman said there was a rebate on the tires. when i paid for the tires there was not notation or mention of the rebate. i had to call the next morning to ask for the rebate and i had to contact Michelin to apply for the rebate; i feel the store should have completed the form when i checked out. i did not have a complaint of the service or the products i recieved. i would suggest to anyone purchasing tires that you ask for an installed price. i will for sure check with another Michelin tire store and get another price next time i purchase. i doubt i will buy from Atlantic Tire again. too bad.

I went there because no other tire place would take me for a simple tire rotation because they are busy and require appointments. Everybody was nice and the service was well done. No sense of urgency though, which I was in a hurry. The price for tire rotation was 16 bucks compared to 25 at other places!

Yup, these guys are definitely awesome.I had a knock on one of my wheels.If you drove it under 30MPH the steering wheel would start to shake. This sounded like a air bubble in my tire, so I called around and asked for a quick diagnostic just to be sure that it was the tire.I called like 3 places and the other two wanted to charge a 100$ fee for looking at it. My final call was with Bob one of the employees working at Atlantic Tire & Service.He told me he could take a look at for free. I took it in, answered a few questions and he drove my car down the parking lot and pretty much instantly found the bubble. Ill be damned. And few talks later he said he could replace all 4 tires today...Starting at 1:30PM when I called and came in around 2-3 I got everything finishing and picked up my car 5:50. Over all the time were installing my tires and being available to finishing, took them an hour.Very quick and efficient and well respected.Recommending and telling stories about this, I was very impressed.

They fixed my tire and they managed to squeeze me in without an appointment. My rear passenger side tire had a puncture so I brought it in at 9am on a Saturday to see if they could take it. They told me to drop it off and they would be able to get me in. At 2pm, they called saying it was ready. I appreciate them taking me without an appointment and fixing my tire so quickly. The staff were helpful and courteous and the shop itself was very clean and professional looking. Id definitely recommend them.

I was SO impressed with these guys today. They were so kind and patient with me, super knowledgeable and incredibly honest. I came in for an oil change and a tire rotation, but they let me know Id need two new tires on my car soon. With an impending road trip, I decided to move forward with it today. I asked if it would be better to have all four done and they were so honest and told me the back tires were still 90%, so it didnt make sense to at this time as itd be a total waste of my money. They also let me know about a recall for my make and model, and what information I would need to call the dealership and have it done for free. They communicated with me through every step of the work. I cant say enough how much I appreciated their care and kindness today!! These guys rock!!

Showed up unannounced to have a single tire dismounted and they had me in and out in under 5 minutes despite a busy schedule. They really did me a solid and I couldnt be happier with the folks here.

Customer Service from the Phone call and front desk was fantastic. Polite and Professional. Oil Change, Inspection and Tire rotation took less than an hour which is great. Glove box items were tossed around and not everything was put back. Greasy smudge on the hood after maintenance work completed. Biggest complaint and more my fault for having it in the console but noticed money missing from middle console. Not a lot (5$) to care about but care that it was taken in general. Love the shop but because of that will rethink where to go for work or will make sure i have literally nothing in glove or console worth messing with when I go. Otherwise 5 stars.

When you enter the business you will see that Atlantic Tire was honored by the citizens of Cary to be the Best Place for Automotive Repair. After my first visit it was very clear as to why. The entire staff exudes friendliness and and they are just plain nice. Their restrooms are cleaner than most dining establishments. After my purchase of tires they had my car cleaned for me, even received a nice handwritten note of thanks.Quite an experience. I would feel comfortable with my wife and daughter doing business with this establishment.

We have been using Atlantic Tire for several years, they take care of all of our personal vehicles and our business Fleet (Miller and Miller Electric). We have tried other shops and will never go anywhere else. They are friendly and employ highly skilled technicians. They get it right at a reasonable price!!! You need to give them a try!

Do NOT let your body shop send their vehicle here for diagnosis. If Gerber or anyone else is sending it off for diagnosis, make sure to ask if they have an account with someone else.I was in an accident recently, and Atlantic Tire was used to diagnose a repair. The body shop has done a great job so far, but they cant get an answer back from this place on a problem - it seems like theyre screening his calls. When I called them, they refused to talk to me (the body shop will have to call) and hung up on me mid-sentence.Were actually going to have to bypass them completely and go to the dealership to get a re-diagnosis.

I visited this shop because I got a coupon in the mail for a completely free oil change - awesome, right? The oil change itself went smoothly and I was in and out of the shop pretty quickly, so no complaints there. They gave me a list of other services I supposedly needed, including getting a new engine air filter. I was specifically told that I wouldnt be able to pass my upcoming state inspection without having these things done, and was encouraged to get them taken care of while I was already at the shop. However, I have a friend who is knowledgeable about cars so I decided to have him take a look before getting any work done.Most of the items on their list checked out, but when my friend pulled out my existing engine air filter he actually asked me if I had already replaced it - because it looked almost brand new! It left a bad taste in my mouth because I dont want to be sold services I dont need. Id probably come back here for another oil change because its convenient to where I live, but Id steer clear of any other repairs they recommended to me without a second opinion.

I called and talked to a guy by the name of Tim, think that was his name. I gave the tire number and he quoted it and said they had it in stock. I double checked with Tim he had the tire and he reassured me he had it in stock! We showed up the next morning to get the tire that Tim assured Atlantic had, but they did NOT have it. Another guy, Joe, told us they could get a tire for us and have us going in a half hour...it was an hour and a half later. It wasnt Joes fault and he did his best to get us going, but it was very frustrating!

Failed my state inspection for 6 month old windshield wipers. They work fine with no rips. Tried to sell me basic wipers for $50 on the spot, avoid inspections here.

Over the course of about 6 years I have taken many different vehicles to this location. While I cant speak for all Atlantic Tire shops, this one is exceptional. Despite the name they are a full service mechanic and I would trust them with any repairs I might have. As a life long DIYer Ive had over 20 years of experience and can tell when a mechanic is pushing work. Either their diagnosis matches mine or they often find that the issue is simpler than I expected. Repairs and service is fast and with quality workmanship. Even repairs on my BMWs are far less than what you would expect. I have also brought in some rather old vehicles and I dont find that they go hunting for issues. And, if they suggest some sort of maintenance and you decline, its the end of the conversation without any tactics.I dont often write reviews, but I made sure to take the time to reward these guys with a good write-up. I wouldnt take my cars anywhere else.

Pretty good service center, I know a few things about cars. And from my experience, they have appeared pretty up front and honest. Only downside is they require an appointment, which makes it less than ideal for an emergency.

Ive only ever experienced timely, quality work from Atlantic Tire. I ended up having to have two moderately expensive repairs done on my SUV and requested a state inspection to be done. They diagnosed the problems, got the parts, finished the repair and performed a state inspection at no charge all within 24 hours. I definitely recommend this shop!

I don’t like taking my cars to shops because most shops just don’t care. Atlantic Tire does and it’s always been a pleasure to work with them. The last time I went I needed work on two different cars and, after explaining the scenario I was able to book them back-to-back, very accommodating.

Friendly Service Rep, tho he and some other techs thought I needed a new transmission on my 2004 Camry with barely 112,000 miles on it. I only needed a new CV axle, bearing and hub assembly. Was nice enough to look up two quotes for me...one for a used trani and one for a used. I had been here before for service - had a transmission leak, and got it fixed for well under $100, way less than I would have got charged if I went elsewhere. Facility is nice, spacious, and clean.

I was in a jam and needed my car looked at quickly to make a decision to fix my car or buy a new one. They quickly gave me an estimate on my car and did it for a fair price. Next time I need my car serviced (and not looking to buy a new car, ha) I will be checking these guys out. Thanks!

I had an appointment at 8:30am for a state inspection. I dropped my car off a few minutes early, went to Bojangles for breakfast, and then drove away at 8:37. Quick, efficient, and friendly service.

Excellent mechanic (Frank!) and service counter personnel (Michelle, Ty, Max). They really understand that as a business, we need prompt reliable service and do everything they can to keep us running so we can service our customers. They are also open on Saturdays!

There are three people in the professional world that are hard to find: a good doctor, a good lawyer, and a good mechanic. Hmu if any of you have one of the first two. For the last, though, you should consider Atlantic Tire.Yes, theyre a small chain. Believe me, I hear your woes of Firestone and how they charge you hand over fist for things you dont need. Atlantic Tire doesnt do that. Theyre honest with their work, and theyre also honest with your pricing. Honest work deserves an honest price, for both parties. No, youre not going to get away with the same cost as if you were blessed with ol two-toothed Tim next door. Youre getting the cost of good men doing good business, and thats something you struggle to find these days.Edit 03/07/19Once again, I have another reason to 5 star. After having a persistent but inconsistent squeak in my car that was difficult to identify, I had atlantic look at it. Over the course of a couple months (which was my fault) and multiple appointments, spending several hours looking into my issue and thoroughly checking everything in the car they finally identified the issue. No charge. The diagnostic fee I paid months ago completely covered the investigation, because they stood by their word of identifying the problem. They even had a suggestion of looking into warranty coverage for it, so they they wouldnt have to charge me for the work needed. The integrity of these men and women is exceptional.

I have never had a bad experience at this shop. They are honest and do not pressure you to do all of the suggested maintenance. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This place is amazing. I got there at 7am to get an inspection without an appointment. They put in for 8am but I was seen sooner than excepted and done by 7:30am.

Each time I bring my car, this team goes above and beyond to fix the problem and make me feel safe driving on the road. They have excellent customer service and Ty is awesome! I will never take my car anywhere else!!
