My experience with Leith BMW Service Department was fantastic. I really want to thank Mr. Maurice, the service Manager, he was so nice, and so helpful. They found out the problem, that was causing different codes lights to come on after two or three days driving. The codes were my 4x4 light would come on, the transmission default, the ABS light, and the vehicle would go into limp mode, where it would not change over. I also want to thank the mechanic who did the work, they did a wonderful job of discovering the reason all those codes was coming on was because my battery cable wiring was damaged and needed to be replaced and the battery was loose. They did the work, and I have been driving my BMW, with no more problems. Thanks, Leith BMW, I really appreciate all your hard work and effort in discovering my problem.Raymond Boone

Two recent service visits, one for regular maintenance and the other for an AC issue on my 2014 750li. Jason treated my family like gold : service was fast, professional and candid. They replaced an AC fan the same day and that was really appreciated in the hot weather. No surprises on the price.I have total trust in the integrity of Jason and the service team here. I didnt buy this 7 from them a few years ago, but my next one will come from Leith BMW for sure.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BMW TO THIS PLACE!!! I have tried it 3 times too many. Had my car towed there as it wouldn’t start. Found out it needed a starter. Went to pick it up and there was a check engine light on. Did they think to inform me after the car was started? NO! Common sense and customer courtesy would have been to call and alert the customer that there was a check engine light on once the car’s starter was replaced. I had asked for an inspection to be done too! Did I get a call to alert me that they couldn’t do it as all of the faults had to be cleared before that could happen? NO! Just like they didn’t call about the engine light. So I had my car there to be repaired and I left with my car needing additional repairs and a $1200 bill. All I got was I don’t know why we didn’t contact you about either of the problems. This is what you get from a place where you expect professionalism and attention to detail...? So has this happened before when having my car serviced there? YES! There will not be another time and I would advise anyone else to seek service elsewhere.

Do NOT take your vehicle here for service! We brought our X5 here for what was obviously a rear suspension bag leak (bag was fully inflated and vehicle was level when the car was on, but the rear sagged once the vehicle was turned off). After their evaluation, Jermaine and his service department assured me the bag was fine, but the compression unit was bad. This made no sense at all as something was inflating the bag once the vehicle was started, but they were adamant so I agreed to the expensive repair. Once the compressor module was replaced, I received another call from Jermaine - yes, the bag was in fact leaking air and we were on the hook for that repair as well. Fast forward several weeks and we brought our X5 to another import mechanic for routine maintenance (oil change, etc) and they asked us if we had work done, because the bag that was installed was the wrong bag and it was rubbing against the frame of the vehicle and it was only a matter of time before it burst.Leith’s response was that they warranty this work for 2 years so we can bring it back to them and they will fix the issue. Great, so if you have work done by them and are lucky enough to discover it was done in a faulty manner, you can take it back and trust they will fix it right the second time. No thank you! The only reason we take our BMW to the dealership for more major repairs (that other import mechanics would correct for a fraction of the price) is because we know how imperative it is for major repairs to be don’t perfectly. And yes, at the cost they charge for repairs, I would expect perfection, or at least that they would use proper OEM parts. Save your money and trust the smaller import service centers, they likely will actually be taking better care of your BMW!

As a 10+ year aftermarket repair shop manager, I have dealt with many dealership parts departments; most of which have delivered the same version of moderate to poor service, interacting with me as a competitor rather than a customer. This has conditioned my expectations when dealing with o.e.m. parts departments, and is the reason that the OUTSTANDING service provided by Beth in the parts department at Leith BMW moved me to write a review. Beth was helpful, friendly, diligent and accurate while assisting me with parts for a customers 2018 BMW. I find it refreshing that an employee of such a large company (with an already great reputation in the community) takes such ownership of her results and also feel that this is a reflection of the culture and management paradigms of this dealership. I recommend anyone, professionals or do-it-yourself folks, with a bmw call Leith BMW and ask for Beth when you find yourself in need of parts. Thanks so much, guys!

We purchased a car directly from this dealership along with added warranties for maintenance. When it came time for the yearly inspection, we scheduled an appointment which included a complimentary alignment. We arrived in the morning for the appointment only to be told that they didnt have us scheduled. We presented the confirmation email and details but still waited 3 hours for the inspection and rotation. They charged $200 and also failed the inspection due to tint darkness. Even though we bought the car from them only a year ago and never altered the tint, they said that tint darkens over time, which we know to be completely untrue. They did offer to remove the tint (of course) for an extra fee and appointment. The complimentary rotation was also, obviously, not complimentary. We spoke with the manager who offered to refund $87 because we have the warranty that covers alignments but that is not only unsatisfactory, its ridiculous. Like I said, we pay extra every month on top of the car payment for extra warranties for the car and only go to BMW to get any work done. This incident has us truly feeling undervalued as customers. It honestly makes us think twice about being BMW customers for life. If we can help it, we will never go back to Leith BMW Parts & Service Department. We would also not recommend that anyone else take their cars there either.
