I pulled in to the Jiffy Lube and told them I needed an oil change. I was quoted 24.99. I asked if there were any specials that were included in that, and he said, a tire rotation. So I repeated that back to him, “so oil change and tire rotation is 24.99, right?” And he said yes. I walked in to pick up my car and was charged $80. Turns out I was quoted incorrectly by the sales associate. The tire rotation was an additional $55 which I really didn’t have the money for today. I explained to the man at the register that I was quoted 24.99 and pointed to the guy that told me the wrong info.. I’m a bit angry - Very disappointed, I was only told, “I’m sorry.”

Some advice for the management team at this Jiffy Lube - no MANSPLAINING, PLEASE. I took my antique car back because I suspected they had stripped the oil plug in the last oil change. Because I am a woman, I was surrounded by about 4 techs plus the manager who proceeded to blame me for the oil leak saying my oil pan was broken. Then the actual guy who was under the car said the drain plug just spins and I said well that means you stripped it on the last oil change, right? Another tech said Wow, she knows what a stripped drain plug is!!!!! Yes, Dr. Stupid, I do. The manager was useless as he said well, Ill have to charge you for an oil change if I try to fix the plug. Well, I understand that - thats not my complaint. We went round and round trying to guess if they could actually GET a drain plug and finally the manager just stood there and stared at me. This is the worst customer service on earth. TRY to help the customer or make them feel like you will TRY to do something proactive. Plus, he looked up my service records and told me I had driven the car 9,000 miles since last service. Dude! I would have to drive my little Beemer to New York and back three times to make 9,000 miles. Plus, the odometer is broken so how do you come up with 9,000 miles. Yikes!

Great service @ this PG location! They really want your business & not try to talk you out of being there or make excuses. Just wait @ the signs & they will be with you fast! I witnessed too many people drive up bewildered & causing issues LOL poor girl 👧good hard workers here 🥰

They blew my motor when I went for an oil change. Not really much else to say. This review isn’t to slander the company at all, but to further warn those interested in their services. It took me weeks just to get in contact with someone to fix what went wrong. I gave them the hours I would not be able to answer the phone as well as my employer’s phone number to contact me and still had to play the most pathetic game of phone tag ever. They did replace my motor under warranty, however my car was sent to a random 3 star mechanic that filthied my cloth interior. I was promised a full tank of gas, a clean car (inside and out), fluids filled like they were supposed to be, none of which happened. I honestly just give up at this point. They did however pay for the rental car I needed to get to work while the car was in the shop, which I really appreciated as well as fixing my car.

I had an oil leak start after an oil change here. I brought it back and spoke with Nate. He saw that it was 1/2 quart low so he topped it off and he had someone do something underneath. He said that should fix it, but if it continues to leak, to bring it back and theyll do another oil change. Leak was slowed down, but continued to leak, so I brought it back. This time, Nate says he had his mechanic look at it and its leaking from the oil pan and its not the filter. I reminded what he said about a free oil change since it might be the filter. He hymmed and hawed and said an oil change wouldnt help. I told him to please do the oil change and then Ill know for sure if its still leaking afterwards. They did the oil change (well actually only a filter change) and it hasnt leaked since. I wouldnt have hesitated to go back if they would have just changed out the filter right away. These things happen. But after not fixing it right away and then lying to me about it leaking from the oil pan, Ill never go back.

Do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else for an oil change. These men take advantage of young ladies who don’t know much about cars! I had an oil change recently after never going here before, yesterday I went out to start my car for work, went to leave and a giant pool of oil underneath my car, they knew I just moved here and didn’t have a mechanic. I took it to pitz mechanic in punta gorda! They had me fixed up and ready to go within a few hours, they told me there was a hole in the oil filter! Hahah it’s so funny bc I almost didn’t leave a bad review last month when I had the oil change, on how pushy, slow, rude, and how bombarded the employees made me feel, but here I am now leaving my review. I pulled in was told oil change was 29, I was charge 58 I asked oh was the oil low?? Bc i thought it was going to be 29 and the end of the service and he goes no I’m not sure why… oh yea yes that’s why… ok lol we’ll I paid and left, knowing that I would never be back bc of how pressured they made me feel as I sat in the car, oh you need a new this and new that, trying to sell me $60 wind shield wipers, no thank you I can go to Walmart myself and buy and install them, then there was talk about the tires rotated, they wanted to charge and extra $50 for that hahahah this place is a joke and will try to get you for anything and everything. AND NOO THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH “miscommunication “ before I’m told that by whoever writes back.. this is obviously an issue with your dishonest staff

MOST EXPENSIVE OIL CHANGE EVER ON MY 2013 CADILLAC CTS. IN ADDITION THEY DAMAGED THE SKID PAD AND IT CAUSED MY WIFE AND i A LOT OF WORRY AND DELAY UNTIL WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE PAD FIXED IN PLACE USING ZIP TIES AT A WALMART SERVICE CENTER ON A SUNDAY MORNING. 0N RETURNING TO PUNTA GORDA, i WAS TOLD TO HAVE IT REPAIRED AND THEY WOULD REIMBURSE ME. i DID THE REPAIR AT THE NEARBY GM DEALER. The $135.00 BILL HAS BEEN PRESNTED TO THREE DIFFERENT MANAGERS AND EACH PROMISED TO TAKE CARE OF IT.. SIX MONTHS LATER , NO .PAYMENT. JIFFY LUBE WILL NEVER DO ANOTHER SERVICE FOR ME AND I STRONGLY ADVISE OTHERS TO USE THE MANY QUALIFIED AND LESS EXPENSIVE QUICK LUBE SERVICES AVAILABLE.

The guys in the bay were awesome! Quick, professional and worked together like a well oiled machine. The female that checks you in and out is unfriendly, short with customers. Was here twice within a month and both interactions with her were the same. Today 3 of us pulled about the same time.. After waiting quite sometime, the car in front of me left. When she finally came out, I explained nicely that a car left. She said it happens. I get that some people have short patience, but we were out there for a bit, and there was no one else in the bay. Again, the guys in the bay were great.

This place is a rip off, they told me prices of blades and air filter then charged me more.one wiper blade was the wrong size. I hads to go back and get the correct size blade. They put in the incorrect amount of air in my tires. Didnt give me a print out of the car checks. when asked what they did and why there was no print out out of work done. the guy read off what was done, but gave me no copy of it. Honestly I do not trust ANYTHING. I will not be returning.

Went in for an oil change that was normally $70, its now $100. I called the Goodyear down the road and woodie Lees both were charging right around $65 for the same synthetic oil change. Jiffy Lube lost this family of 3 cars.

Was greeted by a friendly, young lady. And within 20 minutes, my oil change and brake fluid change were finished and I was back on the road.

Didn’t want to go to dealership and wait for hours so the best thing I did was drop by Jiffy Lube and give them the business. I found it delightful and fast. The service was red carpet and the personnel was very kind, courteous, respectful, honest. Yes I paid a little more for the convenience but more than worth than waiting at a dealership. Dave the Manager has a attitude. They don’t check all the fluids. Left with oil dripping on my driveway, that may or may not be a leaking drain plug. Incompetent from beginning to end. Had to ask 3 times for my discount.

Very impressed with this auto repair shop. Grady gave me confidence that he was honest and helpful in completing an expensive repair. I will return to complete the repair due to my financial issues. Front and rear Brakes all need attention. Did the worst first. I wont go anywhere else for all maintenance issues.

At Jiffy Lube Punta Gorda getting an oil change was convenient, quick, inexpensive, and pleasant. The staff are friendly and professional and the technicians are knowledgeable. The oil change included fluid checks and top-offs, tire pressure check and fill, and more. The waiting area is clean, quiet, and comfortable, but you wont be there long because the oil change is finished seriously in a jiffy. They even vacuumed the floor area of the passenger and driver sides of the car :) Thank you. I recommend this location and will return.

I’m not quite sure how they only have 3 1/2 stars. I understand in today’s climate you certainly cannot please everyone. However, from the first phone call through the service I was very pleased with the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. I asked them about a coupon and they gave me their address and said to Google it and I was able to pull up a $20 off coupon. Ive had some bad experiences with Jiffy Lubes in the past(including a blown engine after an improperly installed oil filter).However I pulled in to this Jiffy Lube in Punta Gorda with a 12 dollar coupon. Where upon telling them, James immediately offered me an even better offer. Immaculate waiting lounge and restroom. I will certainly be back. This location should be a model for all Jiffy Lubes.

I was visiting a good friend in Punta Gorda over the holidays after a long drive from CO and while checking fluids before heading home I found my coolant level was low. The assistant manager quickly helped me out by adding coolant and saved me from buying a gallon of antifreeze, mixing it, and returning home with a lot left over. Trying to sell you services that you do not need.Asked for a quote to change differential on front wheel drive model.Got quote to change front rear and middle transfer case .In reality only have front . Make sure they do not cheat you out of your money. And once they left oil cap on top of engine and smashed the hood. Did not pay nearly enough for repairs like 1/10 part. Find reliable mechanic and stick to it rather than huge ignorant corporation that does more damage than good.

This place is so over priced... Please beware they will try and get you to add more and more things to your service. My 19 year old son went there on his own and they tried to charge him well over a 100 for a simple oil change. Good thing he called us before agreeing to this. Its a shame that they were trying to take advantage of a young adult that they could clearly tell didnt know what he was supposed to be getting. Shame on you guys. Please check around for prices before you go to them, there are better places to go that have better prices and customer service then these guys.

First time here for an oil change. When I arrived they were quick to greet me and informed me where to go. The waiting area is very small but they try to get you in and out as fast as possible. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Great service. The woman working here was able to help me out with a deal on a air filter because I didnt bring as much cash as I needed for the unanticipated need for a new air filter. Had the oil changed on my 2014 Suburban yesterday at Jiffy Lube in Punta Gorda. No problems. After the oil change, the technician told me they did a thorough check of everything, and my front brake pads were almost worn through. He said the pads need to be replaced soon or it would be metal on metal and ruin the rotors. He said it would cost $159 and they could do it in 45 minutes. I was suspicious since my mechanic up north checked out everything last fall when I left for Florida and brakes were good. I then took the suburban to Gorman repair and told them to do a brake job if needed, but to check first. In a half hour they called me back and said both front and rear brakes were in good shape, no work needed. I guess theres a reason people say beware of the rapid oil change places, theyre crooked.

Once again I received excellent service at Jiffy Lube! Everyone I encountered was polite & efficient, and for the services they provided, the cost was very reasonable!

BEWARE......On May 1st, 2019, I went to Jiffy Lube in Punta Gorda, FL. I paid almost $150.00 for an oil change with synthetic oil. When I arrived home, I smelled burning oil but I thought maybe they just spilled a little. When I backed the car out to take my wife to dinner several days later, I discovered a large amount of oil on my garage floor. When I arrived at the restaurant, oil was spewing out of the dip stick all over the engine. Upon closer examination, I discovered that Jiffy lube had added 7 quarts of oil to my car without draining the old oil from my car. I drained the excess oil and returned to Jiffy Lube the next day. They would not refund my money even though I had obviously not received the service I paid for. I gave them the excess oil but they said they had no way of knowing if this was from my car, (even though I only have one car). They insisted I return when I had time to fill out an Incident report. So far, nothing from Jiffy Lube. No refund. Only been accused of being a liar by the rude manager.

I went there and 2 guys were amazing. Kevin and Alex were very informative. When I didn’t understand something Alex explained it to me without a hiccup. Kevin was fast and it seemed both men were a great team. Very happy about my service. I will definitely go back as long as they are there.

Halfway into my trip I discovered the oil filter was loose and dripping oil everywhere. I was lucky I caught it before things got worse.

What an excellent experience! Sarah and her crew were very knowledgeable, quick and efficent to service my car. They changed my oil, ran a diagnostics check, checked my fluids, tire pressure, even cleaned my windshield and floor boards in about 20 minutes! It was a pleasant experience and i would reccomend to anyone.

A word to the wise, twice I have had my oil changed there , once under old management and now under the new, Both times I returned home to have my truck leaking oil in my driveway! Nothing but excuses both times I returned to have them fix it, the first time the drain plug was loose, second time it was the filter! they are very condescending, quick to try an sell you everything they possibly can if you really need it or not . I personally will not do business there again , twice is enough, there’s 4 vehicles they will not be changing oil on again , besides the price increases from old management, you can’t trust the quality of work they are giving you. Be careful, had I not been paying attention, that’s twice my truck could have blown up do to no oil !!

They couldnt fix my trucks brake problem. They misdiagnosed the problem and I ended up fixing it myself after they tried on two occasions. They still charged me though!

I have brought several of my vehicles here for oil changes and most recently my Volkswagen GTI for its 3rd oil change from them and rear brake job. I always try to talk to Kevin C because he is the most knowledgeable person and also the only person who works there that can seem to drive my Dog-Leg manual transmission. I would recommend this place to friends and family for a reliable an trustworthy place to have your oil changed or other minor service.

I got the oil change done on my wifes car and when they checked the cabin air filter debris was knocked into the blower motor and caused a loud noise when AC was on . when I returned to have it corrected i got alot of attitude and arrogance from the manager .I will not be returning. Side note , the tech that fixed the problem was a great guy had a great attitude and should be running that place . if they made him manager i might spend my money there again.

Never again. Left after my service and smelled burning oil all the way home. When I lifted the hood there was oil spilled all over the valve cover where the fill cap is. Upon further inspection the antifreeze reservoir had not been checked - it was low. The washer fluid was not topped off, all the tires were 3 to 3 1/2 pounds lower than the manufacturers recommendation on the door tag. The inspection report was not filled out properly, mileage was 17000 miles off and the report was marked as completed for all the things that had not been done. They also marked the rear differential as full which was laughable as it is a front wheel drive car! No attention to detail at all. Not even worth the one star but I cant post otherwise. Seriously? Took my 2008 Taurus X SUV have a oil change I knew my valve covers with leaking and after I had my oil change they gave me an estimate to change them and the Pelham gasket very professional crew there from the people that change your oil And the management came in three weeks later and replaced my valve cover gasket and a Pelham gasket Danny the gentleman that worked on my vehicle was very professional and Grady also you guys did a great job!

Fast service, but they are overpriced. I basically paid $40 for the guy to unscrew the negative connection on the battery. On top of that, they didn’t even fix the problem. I am not a person who complains about service because I work in customer service and know how hard it is to deal with people who are never satisfied, but it was ridiculous.

All of the mechanics are very knowledgeable and are proficient in there jobs. I was in and out in no time, and they try to up sell without being pushy .

I wish I could give 5 stars but I left there in shock of paying over $50 for a basic oil change that I had requested. Very fast and friendly service. I have never paid $50 for an oil change in my life, even at a GMC dealership. They said they do a light vacuum and wash your windows, well I had to go back in to have my front windshield washed. I should have just waited for an appointment at my usual place, learned my lesson.

$97.00 dollars for a oil change??? When questioning manager up charge for the type of oil filter in my car...??? Never charged extra else where? Extra charge because my car took an extra quart of oil??? My car only takes 5 quarts . How can it fit more than 5 quarts? Rip off!!! Wont be back.!!!

Went to jiffy lubes, punta gorda for brake inspection they said I need new front brakes. The brakes are really bad. They quote me a price. I left went to a other place to check the price, they did a brake inspection and hey came back and said you dont need brakes you have a other 15000 to 20000 miles left before new brakes. So jiffy lube tried get me new brakes that I really didnt need. Dont trust them on anything.

They broke a piece off of my car and reported it was already broken, worst service ever in punta gorda. i will never go back to that jiffy lube, for which Ive been dealing with for 2 years.

Our family has a lowered 2014 WRX. Kevin and KC knocked it out of the park. They even took the time to replace the clips on the skid plate that were messed up by the last place to do our service. We will definitely be making the trip back here for future servicing.
