Going to the post office is usually such a chore, and this was a delightful experience. Would recommend!

While very convenient you never know which staff member you are going to get, which sadly makes a big difference on the experience. The women are great and very helpful but the man that works there is rude and acts as if he doesnt want your business. Ive gone down the street to UPS where they were able to complete the simple tasks he refused on multiple occasions.

Stopped in to drop off a fedex package while I was dog sitting my friends puppy. They were busy, but I was able to drop my package off with no wait. They also had so many cute cards, notebooks, and other supplies, I decided to look around. My friends puppy had an accident on the floor, I felt so bad, but the staff couldnt have been nicer about it, and were quick to clean it up for me. Sorry for the accident! But thanks for the friendliness! I will stop back in with no pet next time to shop around, and the location is super convenient for any shipping needs.

The disgruntled lady behind the counter must have been upset I disturbed her Jazz Radio Hour because despite saying good morning to one another she was not there to help. I specifically told her my desired print specs, I have my degree in Graphics and am Certified in pre-press, I know how annoying it can be to not receive correct print specs. When she print my design fit to page, she still said you asked for 8.5 X 11. I have had this problem here before despite always being clear my print request, informing aggro lady of this. No apology. No nothing. Worse part. Did not even say goodbye. I just grabbed my papers and walked away. Really POOR customer and overall people skills deficiency at this place, fo shoooooO!

I showed up at 6pm the night before a cross-country move with about 10 terribly-packaged boxes and other items. I didnt know what to expect, but Scott and the staff at Postal Annex completely exceeded all of my expectations! Scott went through all of the costs with me and even spent the next day repackaging and consolidating all of my items so that they would make the trip safely. I am so thankful to have had their expertise, professionalism, and help during a stressful 24 hours before the move!

A convenient location, but the attitude of the staff is unprofessional. Especially Scott, who acts like a middle schooler who needs an attitude adjustment: incredibly unhelpful and always has a passive aggressive attitude. He clearly hates his life and that energy flows through the store.

It was my first time mailing a letter internationally and the man named Scott assisting at the counter was rude and unhelpful without reason. I asked if I could pay for insurance as the legal document being mailed cost over 700$ to receive a new copy, he began being snarky saying you cannot put insurance on money (this was a document I was mailing) - they begins to make a fake phone call to verify there is no insurance on documents and goes “YUPP- told you, no insurance!” I couldn’t hear him at the beginning as he was mumbled when I first arrived, and so he though it would be appropriately to start loudly (shouting) at me to repeat his sentence. Rude, unprofessional and I don’t know how this boy works with the public.

Earlier this year my husband and I were tasked with moving to the East coast right after he had spine surgery. Scott was tremendously helpful during this stressful time. From helping recommend the most economical way to ship our belongings, packing up fragile items, and even helping me carry our huge boxes to and from my car! After the move I received a thank you note for our business, and would like to say, Thank you! to the staff here who made my life so much easier

I went in last week to drop off 4 packages with Prepaid labels. The woman behind the counter told me I could only drop off 2 USPS packages for free each additional package would cost me $1 per package to drop off. I asked her why and she simply stated that was what they charge. I came home and check my receipt from two days prior when my daughter drop 3 packages off that day for me they did not charge her $1 for the third package she dropped off. It seems they have different rules for different customers. This was only my third time going to this business. The first time I went the male owner charged me $2 for each address label he print out for me. When I asked why it cost $12 for 6 address labels he just started yelling and cussing at me that he was just trying to make an fing living what the f. Then when I asked if he had the plastic sleeves for the address labels he was yelling at me very loudly that the slips would not fit in the slip holders. he would need to tape all of them to the packages and was tossing my packages around. He was extremely rude I have never had anyone treat me like that at any business I have ever went to. No exaggeration his behavior was Unreal. And they charge more than the face value of a postage stamp. Every service they have is higher in cost than the USPS or the USP store on Hawthorne and 42nd. The postal drop station on 42nd and Hawthorne is wonderful. I go there 2 to 3 times a week and drop off packages with Prepaid labels. Sometimes I have them print them out for me and they only cost a dime. They are always very fast and efficient and very kind and helpful. Next time if I get there too late and theyre closed I will not stop by the Postal Annex on Hawthorne on my way home. I will just wait and go back the next day. I would rather do an extra trip out then stop at the store ever ever again.

They charge more then usps for usps shipping and Im pretty sure thats illegal. They charged additional fees for prepaid usps shipping labels and when I just needed a stamp for a letter they were charging more then the price of a stamp claiming the difference was some sort of fee. They also told me I could only drop of two usps prepaid packages a day, that I had to pay a dollar per additional package. The man thats usually there is also quite rude, he seems angry to have to help customers and seems to expect you to know everything about shipping.

I called first to see how much it was to print. I was told .14 cents per page, which is reasonable. When I arrived I was surprised at the grand total since they didnt mention there would be $1.00 surcharge to access the email. In order for customers not to feel like a bait and switch happened, just be upfront about all the cost so there arent surprises.

Best place in SE to get passport photos hands down. The woman who helped me was wonderful! She offered to let me check my hair/makeup in the bathroom mirror multiple times without my having to ask. She even used a light reflector to minimize weird shadows and took multiple shots so that I would have several photos to choose from. Theres also a parking lot behind the store which is nice in an increasingly busy neighborhood where parking can be hard to find.

Conveniently located in the Hawthorne neighborhood, making it easy to walk, or park, to drop things off. However, the staff here is truly awful. They are not problem solvers, they are condescending, and have no interest in helping you, answer questions, etc., I have had consistent issues with the attitude from the one guy that works here, the two other women, while a bit cold, arent nearly as rude.I truly feel on edge and hostile coming in here, which is a total shame, since simply going to ship items should not make you feel like an imbecile. Id recommend dealing with the actual Postal Service over this place any day.

This place isnt safe during a pandemic - small, no air flow, and the staff are *not* wearing masks. 6 distance means nothing here. Masks only protect people if everyone is wearing them. Without air flow and masks, any viral load released over the course of a days work becomes dangerous for customers. The crazy thing is they sell locally made masks for $15 and less. Its unacceptable theyre not wearing them. I wont go back here.

Ive been here a few times, and I always wanted to like the place more than I did. They have a bunch of overpriced supplies and theyre really slow on their computers, but theyre polite. However, the most recent time I went there, they quoted me a number that was shockingly high for me (I ship things regularly) as the most economical option. I left, and went to USPS (which theyd been quoting for), and found that theyd been charging me $110 more than it should have been ($140 vs. $30). Assuming they werent willfully deceiving me, that they would get that number, were not also surprised, and after I asked them to double-check for what I knew to be a cheaper option still did not register something was off, speaks to profound ineptitude. Theres no way they should have not been able to eyeball that number being way off when its one of their main jobs.

I’ve gone here a few times in the past. About 3 weeks ago I went to have 2 leases notarized. I was charged $10 per document for a total of $20. I immediately stuck them in a prepaid envelope and had PostalAnnex send them off. A few days ago I got them back from the lawyer, with a letter saying the notary had failed to sign one of the documents. I thought no big deal. I’ll take back the new documents to Postal Annex and she’ll look them up to make sure there was a record of prior notarization and then just re-notarize them. But no. She immediately got defensive and would not admit her mistake. ( I mean, come on. Everyone occasionally makes mistakes and I had the letter from an attorney’s office saying she had missed a signature.) She wanted to charge me another $20. This seem unfair. Because I only like to visit stores that will stand behind their products and services, I won’t be going here again.
