Got Lavender Salted Caramel and Mango sticky rice. Very creative flavors and not too sweet. Friendly staff

Super good. I grabbed some to go and it was quick and easy. Reasonable prices. The lavender Carmel was well balanced and not overly sweet. Will return here for ice cream again.

If I have to sum up my review in one sentence, all I have to say is that you NEED to try their Mango Sticky Rice.But I am not a writer of few words. I must add that the Mango Sticky Rice will be an explosion of tropical sweetness in your mouth. I want to say that Ive tried a couple of their flavors and theyve all tasted fantastic. They offer both basic and creative options. In addition, they have an interesting selection of vegan flavors that have all tasted much creamier than any non-dairy frozen dessert Ive had so far, especially the Choc-Coco-Mel. This restaurant is just underrated, and like I said, the Mango Sticky Rice is a must try.Also, did I mention that I love the Mango Sticky Rice?

Mango and sticky rice, thats all you need to know. Just get the pint, dont bother with a cup or cone. Its kinda spendy but it is absolutely amazing. Why is this stuff not in stores?! Parking is rough and the line was long but it moved quickly.

Wow wow wow this place is awesome!! So many good flavors it was extremely hard to make a decision, but I ended up going with the vegan bananas foster and chocolate AF and was not disappointed. The guy taking orders at the Clinton location (possibly the owner??) had a really playful, good vibe and kept the line moving fast. They have an option to get two small scoops so you can try more than one flavor if you’re as indecisive as me ;)

Their vegan ice cream is soo good and unique! got choc-coco-mel and mango rice in a sugar cone (that is also vegan) and loved both flavors! So creamyyy

The vegan options are pretty great. My partner had difficulty choosing but settled on the golden milk. I dont care for most non-dairy ice creams but it was actually quite creamy. I was surprised.

It was so delicious I ate the entire pint in about 10 minutes. My stomach feels overly full but it doesnt hurt like it does when I eat a whole pint of Ben & Jerrys

I personally recommend the water avenue coffee with Blondie vs. brownie and a waffle cone, so good. Cute free stickers, too!

Creative flavors while still keeping it reigned in, a more tasteful approach imo than that other Portland ice cream shop. Good creamy texture. Friendly staff, tho not necessarily helpful. We asked what some flavors tasted like and the guy just said the name of the flavor. “The toasted milk tastes like…toasted milk”. Thanks bruh.

This is such a great ice cream place. Great service and great selection of different flavors. I love the golden milk and matcha mochi flavors the most. Best local ice cream joint in the city.

Fifty Licks is a great little ice cream shop. They have a nice selection of flavors, some traditional and some creative. I was encouraged to try as many as I wanted to help make up my mind. I ended up settling with the Hood strawberry and the soy sauce caramel. Both were very good, but the strawberry flavor was basically screaming in my mouth. This isnt a generic strawberry flavor, you can tell that these are a higher quality. At any rate I highly recommend a visit.

I came here with a friend on a weekday evening around 9:30PM, and there were quite a few people in line. I got two mini scoops: mango sticky rice and french toast. Both flavors were pretty good and not too sweet so I was pretty happy about that. The mango sticky rice was a bit icy though, and the french toast one had bits of french toast in it! Wow. A bit expensive at $5.25 although it comes with a free sugar cone!

Loved it! Waffle cones were great and I loved the variety of unique flavors.

They need to update their hours. They stop taking customers at 9:25pm. So if anyone is planning to be there before they close just know they stop letting customers in after 9:25. Kinda annoying experience especially during summer nights. Good ice cream though

The ice cream and handmade waffles cones are *chefs kiss*. The night I recently went, it was an unexpected lovely evening. They only had 2 folks working and they were pumpoing out the orders as efficiently as they could. Definitely worth the wait if there is a line , in my opinion. Great rotating flavors, the consistency and creaminess is a-mah-zing.

The mango sticky rice is a must try. All the flavors are so good though and the ice cream is super creamy and silky

They put a stool outside to indicate that they were not serving after that person in line. We arrived with seven minutes to closing - who turns away customers before the actual closing time? Poor customer service and professionalism

I love this place! Their dairy free ice-cream is beyond tasty. I legit try to introduce all my friends to this place.

Pure bliss in the form of frozen dessert. Being lactose intolerant, I have become jaded by futile efforts to capture the increasingly fleeting euphoria that ice cream once granted me as a child. I thought I may have come within grasp of that nostalgia by trying Fifty Lick’s bananas foster, a delectable (and vegan) homage to the classic dessert. But it wasn’t until I tried the mango sticky rice that I experienced a transcendence of flavor and texture that I am sure many may never experience in their time on this earth. And it is them I pity, for this frozen treat is the closest thing to perfection I may experience in the realm of dessert.

I enjoyed the blood orange creamcicle flavor at this ice cream spot. There are a lot of nearby restaurants so this is a great spot to stop at after for a frozen treat!

Deliciously fresh ice cream, tastes like smooth whipped creamy ice, mmm. The berry flavors were all incredible, vanilla (a staple) fell short unfortunately. Located in an awesome walkable location.

Interesting and varied selection of flavors. Got the lavender mint chip and Thai rice, which has a lovely subtly flavor of long grain rice.

Super yummy! The mini scoop is pretty decent! The strawberry tasted like you were eating strawberries! We tried the golden milk, the lemon one, sticky rice and Oregon berry one too. They were all fantastic! We didn’t have time to take a picture because we wanted to eat the ice cream, it was that good!

Sadly every time Ive ordered here, the ice cream has been overchurned so it leaves a waxy mouthfeel after youve eaten it, like a butter film that coats your mouth. The flavors are absolutely incredible and delicious and the staff is great, but I cant believe that there continues to be a problem with overchurning with all flavors, its not just a one off with a particular flavor. I hope theyll be able to fix this!

Service was superb and the ice cream was perfect.There were about 16 or so flavors to choose from. Flavors like Tahitian Vanilla, French Toast, Cho Coco Mel, Chocolate AF, Horchata, Banana Puddin, and others!So good and the lines weren’t bad! Love this place and will be back again.

This is the second time in a row that I have ordered take out from here and they’ve gotten my order wrong. This time I was given Thai rice instead of the mango sticky rice, and last time they forgot one of my milkshakes. It’s really too bad because their ice cream is delicious.

Chocolate as f*$% was delicious as f%$*, simple but delicious flavors all around. More on the pricey side, the music was a little loud and the seating is designed for a date so groups will have to divide. My favorite part is the waffle cones being made in house, right in front of you

I don’t recall the exact name of the flavour that I tried recently, but it was something along the lines of picante lime 🥭mango which reminded me of the candy “Lucas” only in an ice cream flavour which I have to admit was pretty darn delicious. The second scoop that I had, yup, go big or go home right?! was the lavender salted caramel, I will say that this one did not impress me as much as the spicy mango. I couldn’t help but to compare it to the frenemy Salt n straw “equivalent”. Anything salted caramel I think it’s safe to say that S&S wins. I had to deduct an extra star purely based on the quality of their homemade waffle cones. A little too soft and thin for my taste, I only had a few licks on my ice cream before it started breaking apart. Hopefully they can perfect this by maybe adding a little more batter and letting it “cook” a little longer? I dunno just throwing ideas. I understand this place is considered to make artisan ice cream but for the price point, I think I’d rather hit the good ol S&S. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Super interesting flavors. I tried their mango and sticky rice which is a vegan flavor made with coconut cream which made everything taste really elevated. Usually I go with more of your cookie cutter stuff like milkshake flavors. Which on a typical night I wouldve done their horchata with some Choc co Mel (another light vegan flavor) but this was too good to deny more than a sample spoon of. The lavender salted caramel came a close favorite too. You can get a sugar cone for free which is also vegan. The girl was really helpful in letting us try what we wanted. I really enjoyed it and I definitely filled up my stamp card so I can get more in the future!

I know people rave over Salt N Straw but this is actually my favorite ice cream place in town. I love their flavors and the service is always friendly.

I come to this place in the dead of winter and sample every god damn sample they let me try. What are they gonna do? Kick me out? There was no one in there. The employees should be glad I was there to keep then company. Anyways, I love their ice cream. Recommend the corn bread ice cream for the most moist intense out of this world experience. Corn bread is always too dry unless its in ice cream form. Please believe me on this. Also the vegan flavours are hella good too.

Ah, a great place to finish the evening with some ice cream. The staff is super friendly and always willing to give you a try of their flavors. I have to be honest, some are a bit obscure but still great. My wife loved the lavender and i enjoyed some regular chocolate.

I dont understand why the lines at this places arent long! Such unique flavors (like soy sauce caramel and golden milk) with plenty of vegan options. Plus, they have classics like hood strawberry and even the Tahitian vanilla are fantastic, too.

Their ice cream is very good. The pints are for sale in the back freezer. Ive been a few times and the scoopers are always helpful and nice. Its just a happy place overall.

Really wanted to like them. But the non-dairy ice cream I got was the worst tasting dairy-free option I’ve ever had. If they weren’t so expensive I’d be inclined to give them another try. Also, the customer service wasn’t very good. But maybe I caught them on a bad day. Overall disappointing.

I found the ice cream to be decent, not spectacular. That being said, it is an above-average ice cream shop for Portland. It has been very busy both times Ive been there. A nice touch is their homemade waffle cones. I had a Hood Strawberry milkshake this time around. The staff are very friendly.
