Elizabeth appraised my wifes antique diamond ring for us. We called all over the state to try and find someone who would allow us an appointment to walk in and get the appraisal done, as we did not want to leave our precious family heirloom someplace for a week, or, even worse, have to send it somewhere to get it done. Elizabeth immediately set up an appointment for us (only 5 days after I called her!) and then stayed late for us because we were held up in road construction on our way from the coast! She appraised two pieces of jewelry for me in about an hour, typed up a report, and even walked me through the written report, explaining everything in detail. Elizabeth designed my custom-made engagement ring, which turned out to be the best decision we could have made. We met with her and I showed her pictures of my idea. Then we tried out different stones, of which she had hundreds to look at, and worked at the specifics of the ring including stone size, specific colors, and setting details. She didnt have the turquoise that I wanted in her office that day, so she showed me some pictures and worked out exactly what I was looking for. Over the next week, she hunted for about 6-8 turquoise pieces that I might like, then had me into the office to choose my favorite, which became the main stone of my ring. It was one of the most personalized experiences that I ever had and it resulted in the absolute perfect ring. She then had a 3D printed wax ring prepared so that I could see the final product and dimensions on my hand before giving my final okay. I wasnt involved in much of the process after that (boyfriend was trying to keep it as much of a surprise as possible!) but I know he was given pictures and talked through the process the whole way, from the metal casting to the final product. And it was way more affordable than anything else we looked at! Elizabeth is incredibly knowledgeable in her craft and I am very satisfied with the final product. We will definitely be going to her in the future :)

I always look at reviews when I choose services, so It was very easy to choose her.We took our new stone and our existing ring to Elizabeth, to see about having her do first, the appraisal on the obtained stone, so I could have Zales do the resetting on our wedding set. (to keep the diamond bond)(More back ground) before I even knew of Elizabeth, I had to have more service on our wedding set. Elizabeth had inspected our Zales ring, and she found that the diamond that was in our Zales set had a couple of chips in it. She informed me, after I gave her my diamond bond from Zales, that the diamond Zales has in my ring doesnt match the description nor the appraised value. With this information, I had to go to Zales, and tell them, I want my stone replaced. Zales did replace the chipped diamond, and Elizabeth did reassure me that it was for sure better than the original.After that, I lost complete trust in Zales..... This is where the incredible review for Elizabeth comes in. She completely made me feel comfortable and secure in trusting her with resetting our center stone, and NOT worry about our bond with Zales.She was so helpful in the creative process, and reassuring us in the design phase of the resetting of the diamond, that I had no doubt or second guess on how beautiful the ring would be.I have NEVER had a custom piece of jewelry, but there is always a first..... Elizabeth is awesome, and great..... I am so glad I found her, and I am so glad I trusted her with our redesign/resetting of our wedding set.

Do not go anywhere else, go see Elizabeth for all your jewelry needs! My wife could never wear her diamond engagement ring at work so we decided to sell it and get bands instead. We were going to be in Portland for Christmas so I looked at a few places and EMS estates had great reviews so she was our first stop. She offered me what turned out to be the best price I could get. DO NOT GO TO JAREDs. I paid $7K for a ring that was worth a third of that in the wholesale market. I went to a couple other places to get quotes and in the process learned quite a bit about the diamond trade. I learned about GI certificates, the Rapaport price list, and how the big box stores mark up jewelry 300%. I will never go to a chain again. Elizabeth was super nice and helped us find the perfect bands and since we had to leave before they arrived she shipped them to us and gave me money back from my deposit which I wouldnt have known any better if she had kept it. I have told everyone about Elizabeth and will be going to her from now on for all my jewelry needs. I will also be taking some watches to her to sell the next time Im in Portland. I could not recommend her more!!
