10/10 I would highly recommend, I commute 210 miles a day and when my car went down I was stressed and every shop in the area told me I had to schedule 6 weeks out. When I called the Portland best team they walked me through the whole process, handled all my warranty information and had my car back up and running in two days. Absolutely amazing staff. Harley and crew are great!! My husband was my mechanic til he passed away! I feel Harvey truly cares about customers and not making more money. He really took care of my issues and didnt tell me that there was more issues wrong with car other then issues I knew would need to be addressed! Made me feel good that I could trust his shop to do my car work. He was waiting on a part to come in and kept me informed what was going on. E

Fast and friendly service. They was able to refer me to a tow service to have my car towed to their shop. My car was done in a few hours and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this place for any repair service.

Everyone at this shop is top notch. Harley is honest and never once tried to charge me for any nonsense. Will be making an appointment to get my wife’s car a tune up.

I made an appointment to have my A/C charged and when I arrived the business was closed to due roof repairs-would’ve been nice for them to let me know before I drove all the way over there. Unprofessional.

I was taking my Granddaughter to start her freshman year at College in California. She was trying out for a track scholarship and needed to be there on Monday morning. We flew in to Portland from Alaska on a Friday Morning to find my car had been vandalized and wouldnt even turn over. We ended up at Portland Best Auto Repair late Friday afternoon when everyone else was closing for the weekend.Harley and Kevin took my car and stayed until it was running and I could drive away. They treated me right when they could have gouged me good. Harley even did some work on the interior that they didnt charge for. They are honest, trustworthy and very fair.Kevin is quiet but a very good mechanic.If I lived in Portland Portland Best would get all of my auto business.

I think these guys are great. They fixed my main problem and noticed something else which was causing a mysterious noise for years. They fixed both while they were in there so I got two birds with one stone! Made me feel that I got a great deal.

Took my 2001 Ford Explorer down with a cracked radiator. They squeezed me in same day and had it fixed in 24 hours 👍👍

I had my speedometer and odometer go out unexpectedly on my F150 at the start of a busy morning. I called and Harley right away said I could drop by whenever I had a free moment in the afternoon and he would take a look at the truck. I came in and Harley Was incredibly friendly. I asked him to take a look at my drivers side door too because it was sticking and getting difficult to open. He gave me a thorough run down of repairs and costs and was able to fix everything for me in an hour. This place is run by honest and kind folks and I would definitely recommend it to my friends! I found him through Google and know I’ll be coming back if I run into any other issues with my truck.We also had a nice chat about country music greats, definitely ask Harley what his favorite Randy Travis song is if you visit the shop!

I was on a road trip from the Oregon coast- and my truck started smoking. The towing company I used recommended Harley and his sons for auto repair. Initially I was nervous about finding an honest auto repair- because I’m not from the area. Thankfully- Harley told me exactly what I assumed the problem to be, he didn’t add on any unnecessary charges. He is extremely knowledgable and most important- he is honest. If I ever have car issues again within an hour of Portland - I would definitely go back. Thanks so much Harley.

Super nice guys. We chased around an overheating issue for about 2 weeks, and they were very communicative and trustworthy throughout. They even cut me a break on some of the labor since it took a while to diagnose. I’ll be back the next time I have an issue.

Went in with a broken non working AC. 45min later drove off with my car blowing ice cold air. Quick fast and easy. And best price in town. Very friendly attitudes too.I highly recommend this shop for all your car repair needs.

During a very frustrating experience of general engine problems Portland Best auto repair was extremely courteous, efficient, attentive, and affordable. They turned an otherwise horrible situation into a best case scenario. I will definitely be using Portland Best auto repair again as well as referring it to everyone!

About 20 years ago ,there was a shop called Mirellis Texaco I brought my car there with an electrical problem . The owner himself spent a good 15 or 20 minutes tracking it down . It turned out to be a 50 cent fuse .And that IS ALL HE CHARGED ME !. I couldnt believe it . Needless to say that is where I went for my repair needs from that day forward until they sold the business .These guys are like them ! Mirrelli reincarnated . I personally think 90 % of these repair shops are crooks . But these guys......Completely honest . I can not over emphasize how happy I am with their work and integrity . If honesty is an important factor in your auto repair needs ....go to these guys first . You wont regret it !

Called up looking for a quick turn around on an AC issue with my F-150, Harley said to bring it on in. I expected that Id need to leave my truck for a while so they can replace my ac compressor (which is a $300 or so part at stores) but i was in and out in about an hr 45 and Harley and his son serviced my ac system entirely and figured out that the compressor only needed a clip and some tightening which in total cost less then the part itself would have! Great service, attention to detail, fair prices, fast and friendly 👏 thank you sirs! You saved me from melting into my black leather interior. Oh, not to meantion they share a lot with subway and jus cross the street from some great food carts so I grabbed while waiting! 5*
