I did not come in that to purchase a bed. As owner of a select comfort for 32 years, I wanted to appease my wife. Although, we wanted to purchase a temperpedic....but after speaking with Carma and comparing the mattress warranty and my previous purchase. We purchased, what we believe is our last bed. Grandpa Mel was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. He showed me many options, which was certainly a BIG difference from when I purchased my first Sleep Number bed in 2003, and retiring it as soon as the new one arrives. The expense wasnt as important as the fact that I knew I needed a new bed, but also limited to the size of the base going upstairs and I already knew I couldnt get a queen size base up there.I was EXTREMELY excited to see and know I could STILL get a new Sleep Number bed where the base was split! Thank you so much for ALL you kind work at helping me get a NEW bed Mel!!Mel also recommended a couple wedge pillows to help with the snoring issues!

Going into the crossroads Sleep Number Store and putting our feet up was a wonderful experience. We met with the Manager Mel Rutherford. It was an amazing experience. Mel was so knowledgeable and the overall presentation was fantastic. We tried out 3 different beds prior to making our purchase.

The lady that assisted us had excellent customer service and extensive product knowledge. She wasnt pushy at all and I believe she made sure we received the best deal they could offer!

Went to look at a mattress today. Was told to put my phone number down and the reps at the store stated that they would call me within the hour to look at them. Received a call about an hour 10 mins after putting name down and was told that it’ll be another 20 mins. No one called us. We did not appreciate not hearing back from them . Granted, we did call the store and request a private appointment later in the week. But still no one got in touch with us. We decided to go elsewhere and purchase our mattress. Not a good experience.

Great service be prepared to go through the sales process but it is painless. Update. Ended up returning the matress that just wasnt comfortable. So Im dropping a star. Dropped another star because they got about 8500 from me and the refund was 4500. They certainly dont tell you that when they explain the 100 night trial. Update having a horrible time trying to return the mattress and get my refund so I am changing this to one star.

The staff at the Portage Sleep Number store helped us to finalize our order for our new Sleep Number bed.

I went into the Crossroads store with the intention of buying a sleep number bed. The salesperson was very knowledgeable ( scripted). Toward the end I was feeling pressured... Especially to purchase accessories. I realize the sales people are on a commission, however pressure doesnt work for me as I assume for some others as well. I came close to walking out of the store to consider other options. The salesperson was very nice and presented information, I just didnt like the pressure.

Our visit to the Westnedge Ave. store in Portage, MI was very informative and helpful. We returned a couple of days later and purchased a bed. We appreciate that we were not pressured to make a purchase. The staff was very friendly, yet professional, and answered all our questions.

Mel did the initial information and demonstration. Very informative and helpful in making our decision to buy. We could have had the Bed sooner than 1/27 but Your Bank would not allow us to drive down to the store and complete the order so we had to wait for the credit system to wind its way thru long path Other wise we Anxiously await delivery

Its too bad their product is excellent and unique -- otherwise I would never go back to this place. Their salespeople work totally on commission, and they have an ingrained script that is designed to steer you away from their lower-priced models and toward their pricier choices -- and believe me, they can get very pricey! Until I insisted, our sales rep didnt even want to show us their lower-priced models unless we decided the more expensive ones were too expensive for our budget. She also rushed us from model to model and adjustment to adjustment without allowing nearly enough time to really judge comfort. Mattress stores have a sleazy reputation, and this one did nothing to dispel that.

Karma was such a pleasure to work with and answered all our questions and concerns. We can’t wait for our new bed to be delivered.
