Great selection of dog food and Purina brand foods but prices could be lowered more to have better prices

Update review 10/14/2020:Went in for boots, was greeted as I entered the store, went to boot section and a manager checked in on me, gave some boot suggestions and made sure I was well taken care of.Barb at the check out was wonderful and in a great mood too.I love shopping here2019 review;We like this place and it’s where we get our dog food. Tried the petVet for our kitten’s shots today but they recommended we come back when they are past 8 weeks. We’ll come back then.Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice alternative to the big box stores for all the essential tools and hardware at solid prices. Only downside was some particularly loud staff in the backroom that did not seem particularly aware customers could hear their conversation. Otherwise, a great first trip . . . will be back for sure.

Bought a utility trailer and after buying it while hooking it up found out trailer lite was broken TSC got a new lite and replaced it on the spot. Thanks for great service.

They have a wide variety of things that a person would need around the house or Farm. Also customer service is great and usually always someone to help you if you need it

Great place for farm and labor supplies

My husband & I enjoy going here, small enough to find everything easily but still a nice selection.Found the perfect replacement wheel for our wheelbarrow. Very friendly employees @ checkout, 4☆s instead of 5 because of the customer service desk :/ I asked the women about 2 different products (one of them from TS website)they were clueless & not very friendly.

Omg, I went there for dog food & chicken feed. I spent over $300. I have been needing tools since my husband raided my toolbox 11 years ago, I bought drill bits, wrenches, pliers, assorted tools, paint, reusable rags for cleaning, I dont even know what else. Oh garden clogs. I had tall rubber boots but these were slip-ons. Be careful when you go there! My 3 kids each found toys I couldnt say no to, it was a delightful store!

Love this store! The selection of country style gifts and home decor are always amazing, plus I get everything i need for my chickens!

I purchased a Cub Cadet tractor 42 deck on 7/17/2020 and went to pick it up and everyone was friendly and helpful. However, when I returned home with my purchase I was disappointed that the tires were either over inflated or under inflated. The steering wheel was off center, which I corrected. Being a mechanic most of my life, I am very particular about all my vehicles and equipment while, performing the necessary maintenance thats provided in the manuals, that the manufacture provides. Another thing that annoyed me was that the owner doesnt give Veterans a discount, as many other businesses provide. I, most likely will not be returning to this location in the near future. I also requested a spare key and the owner said that I could purchase one, but the sales representative said he would get me one, which never happened. Later the owner changed his mind. However, I was not going to return to the store after I had just been there.

Not a regular TSC customer here. Been quite some time since I shopped here to be honest. I didnt remember the prices being this high. I got a 80 cf argon tank for tig welding and after fees and tax it was close to 500$ to buy the tank and pay for the argon in it. Other prices on things like clothing and protective equipment were also sky high. Didnt want to rent a tank from airgas or praxair though. Not many other options these days

Tractor supply has great prices and in my opinion this is the best location Ive been too. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Tractor Supply

10/10 not happy with the curbside pickup. Ordered my order twice. Was billed twice. Order got cancelled by the computer system “accidentally” according to staff. Waited on hold for 5 minutes to fix it. Didn’t have good customer service in the store with from the management staff today during my pickup order. Disrespectful, and rude. Will definitely take my business elsewhere. Steer clear of the green hair.

Always clean but needs to stock up on different things. Never real full but that could be a shortage of items.

Tractor Supply is a great store. Just dont go there with your kids if you dont want them to suddenly become filled with a consuming desire to take home some baby chicks.

I had placed an order online for pickup and included specific information about the person who would be picking up my item. When my mom went in to pick up my order, it took multiple store team members and nearly 30 minutes of searching around for the store to tell her my mom that my order was out of stock and therefore canceled and the order was not left undermy moms name for pickup, as I had specificallyindicated. I also had never been alerted that my order had been canceled, so it was all a big waste of time and very frustrating - very unnecessary altogether.

Everything about the store was fine... except.. when I went in I asked the young man at the register to send someone outside to fill my propane tanks. He said he would send someone right away and I could go stand at the gate with my tanks...As I left the front of the store I heard request someone go to the propane station... 21 degrees and snowing, I waited only 5 minutes and I came back in. I explained to the young man again, again he made an intercom call and again I went to the gate... 5 minutes later I came in walked passed the young man, who had 3 or 4 customers in his line (the only checker) and back into the store to find an employee to escort out to the propane. I found a supervisor, explained that I needed help, and that standing outside in the snow was starting to change my sunny disposition. He promised that he would get someone. Which after a short disappearance, he did. He came back, the young man from the checkout stand in tow! Apparently there is only one person (I think his name is Tom? I always have liked tractor supply.

They have a lot of items,prices are usually. 50 to a dollar higher than other places. Turnover for employees is (seems?) to be high. I could be wrong ,I only go in there 1 or 2 times a month. They are the only place that has fish food for my pond.

I would give negative stars if I could. My husband and I went to tractor supply to get a trailer. It only took us a total of ten mins to decide which one and stand in line to pay for it. The cashier was the most rude and hateful person I have came in counter with in a long time. Not only was she was on her personal cell phone in a call while ringing up both the person in front of me and myself, she proceeded to make sure my husband and I were aware she was upset that they closed at 6 and it was slightly past six. After complaining that we were taking her time, another cashier came up and proceeded to tell ask her why she had to wait for us to buy a trailer before she counted the register. She did ALL but tell us we couldn’t buy the trailer. It was the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had and I honestly would never recommend them to anyone I know. I would rather drive 45 mins to rural king than to give them my business. I wouldn’t ever want someone to work for me that treated anyone like that.

I always love TSC and this one is no exception. They have a great selection of the basic equestrian supplies I need. (And when I *need* a new lead rope because its purple and on clearance, theyve got my back on that, too!)

Awesome and they even exchanged a clothing item, unlike WAL MART..

This is the best place to get propane tanks filled. I got 2 tanks filled for the cost of swapping one (and swaps are only 3/4 filled). I also picked up some tractor supplies while I was there. Employees are always helpful and pleasant.

Love coming here & letting the kids pick out a tractor toy or little animal figurine! I always get their brand of dog food (4health) & our golden retriever does really well on it! Every time I come here though, I always spend at least 30 minutes browsing everything else. Last of the mom & pop hardware stores

Good place to shop for hardware and rugged outdoor wear. Most of the jackets here arent afraid of nails or grease. They also have food for almost all pets kittens and horses and cows to rodents. I suggest D-Con for the latter.

Went to tractor Co to get shots for my dog, love was a bit long but, the service was good and fast. Lots of products for your pet, almost everything for everyone. They sell baby chicks, and baby ducks which are pretty cute.

Everyone is always very pleasant, very willing to help you find anything and load anything or take it to your car. Love tractor supply and they carry all of my chicken and horse feed and supplies.

I like Tractor Supply and my family shops there frequently. The employees are helpful and nice. Prices are fair and there are a lot of things that a person can get from there.

Found everything I needed. They run some fairly good deals torwards the end of certain seasons. I do wish they had a better boot selection however.

This store is a favorite destination of ours. The staff here are friendly and extremely helpful. They go over and above to provide superb customer service and an excellent shopping experience.

The folks at TSC are by far the most friendly people!! Always willing to help even with questions that are outrageous(me asking really unrealistic questions)!!!! Take the time to shop there, youll be thoroughly surprised by what they have to offer!!! They are winter remodeling so go get the summer things that are on sale!!! Once again top of the line staff and supplies you always need!!!!

We needed baby chicks and supplies to get started, building a coop, etc. The people were helpful and patient while we made decisions. Weve gone back to get feed and wood shavings (so much cheaper to buy here than the pet store!) and we like the quality gear for outside work and play. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is b/c Ive experienced even better service as far as warmth, friendliness, going above and beyond to help make sure you get what you want, etc. They were fine, no complaints, but not amazing.

Love this place, get pet food and feed for your stock. Vaccines for pets as well as some meds for stock. Also have a nice stock of tools, boots and clothes.

I dont know what it is about tractor supply company, but they are always the friendliest and most helpful Associates to be found in a big box store. This particular Tractor Supply Company had a great selection of hardware, with just about any nut or bolt or screw or nail that you could possibly need in bulk.

I went into this location today to purchase some cracked corn and wild bird seed.I noticed 3 male employees just hanging around talking among themselves i went over and asked where the larger bags of cracked corn was I needed to go into the back room where they keep their larger bags. After asking for help they told me to go in the room and just get the corn. I am up there in age and to expect and older female to lift 300 pounds on her own was not expected and no help was even offered to help me at my car

It has become our favorite store. My boys are always asking to go to tractor supply. We get our dogs food there and toys of course for the boys. Everyone has always been very polite and helpful. Personalities definitely match the atmosphere ;)

They make you feel appreciated. Prices are good. Selection is decent. Not a Menards or Walmart but they care and go out of their way to help. Quality products are worth every penny.

They never have what I need when I stop in. A very poor excuse for a farm store. This would be a GREAT location for a Rural King.

I was going to get a 40 lb bag of bird food, but they were all out of it. They sold me 2 twenty pound bags for the same price as the 40 lb bag. The bird food was priced way below any other stores also!!

Excellent manager named Hunter and employee Joe. They let me borrow a tape measure to measure my truck bed for a fool box. When it was going to be very close, they even helped me take one out to my truck and try it. Awesome staff at TSC in Plainfield.

Always has my choice of dog food for my young ins so thats a plus and my main reason for visiting this establishment..If u do yardwork etc too u would prolly enjoy the items they have throughout

This store has particularly helpful and polite staff. I go here for non-farm related items, but this store otherwise appears very similar in selection, layout and marketing as every other TSC I have been in.

I was surprised at the vast collection of items and competitive prices.

Love this place for grain free dog food. Always have to look for the latest sale items, you can get some great deals.

If youre a cat owner and use Feline Pine for litter, this place sells the same thing for a fraction of the price. Ask for their horse bedding pine pellets! And save big!

This was my 2nd time going to this store. I usually shop at Rural King but I was in the Plainfield area. They were obviously short of help. I needed to purchased-worming medicine and they only had 2 packages for dogs smaller than mine. I went to customer service in hopes that they had some more for my size dog. No one was in customer service. Stood in line for few minutes and when its my turn the cashier answers the phone and is looking for someone to help the caller. Finally I get to ask if they had more medicine, the phone rings again and I am asked to wait again. Then was told no they did not have any more. Huge waste of time dealing with rude people. I will not be returning to tractor supply ever.

I always like going to TSC, always a good place to get feed, welding stuff, nuts and bolts by weight! Fastener selection is not huge, for example you will not find JIS Metric flange bolts but, what they have is great and inexpensive!!
