Girl working register wasn’t very friendly and not helpful. I questioned why the pallet of fertilizer in the middle of isle has no prices on it. She said I don’t know, it should be. I said well it’s not and how do I know price or if it’s on sale or not. She really didn’t seem to care. Oh well, I guess I will just go to the other ace on other side of town.

It used to be 20 years ago that you could walk into an Ace Hardware describe your problem, and they not only knew what you were talking about, but how to fix it. They would walk you over to the isle where what you wanted was located, and give you advice on what to do on the way there. This doesnt happen anymore, I was assured by an employee that I and the internet were wrong, that hed never seen the part I was looking for, and that they had none in stock. Of course the internet was right, they had several in stock, and I wont be back.

Big enough to have most of your needs and small enough to get your questions answered.

Wow what a great hardware store. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. This is the way a hardware store should be, not like a big box store were it takes time just to find someone to help you. The selection of merchandise is great with a little of everything that hardware stores should carry. They even carry things that cant be found in most stores anymore.

Brought screens in to replace and they did a wonderful job. Dealt with 5 employees during two separate visits and they all were excellent. If one couldn’t answer my questions they immediately had someone else help me. All very helpful.

Employee has no clue...... Thank goodness I walked around long enough another wandered from the back and ignored me, but Im no quitter! I asked! They did not have what I needed. He knew what I was asking for. Store is super clean. Over priced. Minimal items. Good if you need a fast item that is really basic.

Be very careful when you buy anything from this ace I bought some caulk and it was rock hard ! so I took it back for exchange and all the other shelve stock was just and hard and I got looking around and pretty much everything in that store is old stock by years ! hint look at the packaging and if it looks a little yellow its old.

I go in there on average about once a week. Every time I go in, I get the BEST customer service! It doesnt matter who is helping me, its always top notch! Every. Single. Time!

They have a wide selection if just about everything. Housewares, paint, car care, lawn care, hardware items, tools, patio furniture, snack foods, voice activated light controls, garden items, grills, cabinet shelf paper, area rugs. Friendly staff waiting to help you.

I hate leaving a negative review for local businesses, but Im hoping they take these to heart. I dont like big box, but this store makes me shop at menards despite Ace being 2 blocks away.My biggest gripe is the complete lack of organization, and poorly stocked shelves. There are tags that associates have told me are years old and so the prices arent right. or they are for items they just dont carry. Im always asked if I need help finding things, but I have started to say no because they never know where the things are, either.I still shop here on occasion, but I really hope they get their stuff together so I can shop more. Considering the amount I have spent and need to spend rehabbing our house downtown, Id like to see my money go to a local business, but at this time, if it isnt something ubiquitous like a paint brush or roller, I have to go to menards.

They are always very helpful. Had some glass cut on two different days and it was cut perfectly.

I had a unique set of keys that I needed spares for. All other places in town were unable to make copies. Kin-Ko Ace made multiple copies (that worked!) without any problems.

Best hardware store in the area beats Menards for knowledge that workers have.

They used to stock a lot more items than they do now. Half the bins and shelves are empty. Dont know why.

I went in there once. And Sarah was the one to help. Shes the best.
