I just dont understand how they dont take returns on anything if you opened it. Like literally meijer will but not them. I went to gamestope thinking hey maybe cuz video games is the only thing they do they can help me out a little bit more. Nope they sold me a controller with a new type c charger I had no clue of and wont let me take it back 🙃

I called about an Xbox one to make sure it was available. I was informed that they had one at one and around two pm. I drove over 40 minutes and arrived exactly 9 minutes of calling just to double check it was still there. I arrive and am told that they have not had an Xbox one for sale in days. When I showed them the call logs they said that they were sorry but they didn’t even check to see if they had the item available before saying they had it or it was just sold minutes before without his knowledge even though it was him and no one else in the store. I understand not having something but don’t make me waste my time just be honest.

As of the date of this post, still no PS5s.

They where rude I ask for a ps5 and he was he could of been a little nicer

Didnt have what I needed as it is for an outdated system, but the staff was extremely personable, and went to the trouble of finding another location that did have the part, and ordered it. Its gonna take a week to get it, but i appreciated them going above and beyond to help. Cant remember the womans name, but she had short brown hair, and was a great company representative.

The staff here goes above and beyond, more so than any other store in the area! Cindy is especially valuable to this store and I hope they know it. She is always kind and smiling, even when she isnt receiving the same in return and she will do anything she can to make sure you are happy and taken care of!

If I could right a review with 0 stars I would. I recently preordered the highest tier of a game I have been looking forward too since they teased it years ago. Upon paying full price for the game in advance, I was told We will inform you if we are allowed to release the game early. Come the night of release and assuming they are stilling doing a midnight release, because I havent gotten anything via email or text/call saying the game was coming out early. I drove on over to the store to find out through online forums that the game was released early and no midnight release would be done. The result in poor customer service has lead me to preorder the game through other means and I will be returning to the store to get my money back. Gamestop and pushed my buttons on things like this before and has officially lost my business.

Always helpful & friendly when I take my sons in to shop or sell. I took one of my sons in the other day to exchange his headset that wasnt working & the young woman at the counter was very helpful & kind.

Bought a brand new 1tb slim I warned them I had issues in the past with new ones and said being connected to the internet it would keep booting me so my dumb self got another one and been dealing with calling my provider they came out no issues in my lines or modem but anyways past my 7 day return and know I cant get my money back now so Im 320$ out of pocket because there 7 day stupid stuff in my opinion they didnt lower it to 7 days for no reason so be careful and dont do what I did if you have a problem then dont call the Internet provider its the wifi chip in the ps4 consoles that are going bad and thats why they doing only 7 day returns most likely lmao whatever never going to gamestop again at least Walmart sold me decent stuff and have 14 day return policies that gamestop doesnt so good luck everyone

Assistant manager is trash. Refused to get her lazy self off the conference call to address an issue, all while ignoring company policy with regards to processing a refund. The receipt clearly says OPENED RETURNS MAY BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS. She refused to do it without even coming out of the stockroom.

Amazing lady was the cashier. Very nice and helpful and listened to me about a few things , was having a bad day and what she said uplifted my mood.

The staff have bad attitudes. Come in there to buy a game and ask a question about the 3ds and I receive in return sarcasm. They should stop acting like they are “all that”. Do your job and realize you work at GameStop. If you don’t like your job find a new one. Treat people like you want to be treated.

I had to read edit this post because I went to trade in my games for credits to put on my account I gave them my membership card and the employee still gave me a trade credit gift card. I called them and they were so disrespectful and they did not apologize for the way they mistakenly gave me a trade card gift card which is wrong and bad service this was my favorite store in Plainfield cause it was closest to my home and its embarrassing. I give it two stars because Im still going to the store because it is close to my home. They cant do nothing about my situation. Sucks to be me.New management needs to happen NOW! I do not like the Disrespect.So if youre shopping at the store please be careful what the employees at GameStop do or actually say always be precise with your checkouts, and be cautious.

I have been going to this Gamestop since I moved to Plainfield a couple of years ago. There has always been a great selection and the staff has always been very courteous and professional. Today I had to return a product that I truly expected to just have to buy a new one to replace. To my surprise, after explaining the issue the product was exchanged with no extra cost! This really made my day! It may not matter to others but after having a rough time lately this was a huge pick me up. This store was good before but just solidified my thoughts of it being a great store! Their customer service is akin to a unicorn these days. This store has a dedicated patron! Keep up the great work! Give these guys a raise LOL
