No issue. The units are secure. I probably would have left my stuff in storage but they chose to double my rent from 60 dollars a month to 120.00. No storage unit is worth that. Now my stuff is in an AC unit for a little less then that. Nothing like an incentive to upgrade. I really like my new unit. Its not at extra space. They really dont value there customers the pricing reflects that. Now do I get a refund ?

The online services saved me alot of time especially being able to view the storage units definitely helped in making a choice in what needed. The Extra Space Storage website is very user friendly and makes it convenient to make payments. But anytime I have had to contact the office Miss Vigil has been nothing but a professional. This location has always had great managers.

What an amazing place. Just stopped in to check pricing and ended up renting the unit right away. Selina in the office was amazing. Very polite and very helpful. She showed us the unit which was very nice. The whole process took about 20 minutes and was very smooth. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a storage unit check out extra space storage. The office staff named, selina v. Met me in the office right after i called the phone # listed on the door.she was a very up-beat fun yet informative represenative for extra space, storage. The first months rent was free and yes i chose to pay for the second to set my mind at ease. The units were perfectly clean and very easy to access from the back of my truck. The prices there are very reasonable. And i would suggest anyone looking for a unit, try this place out.

I was very happy with my storage needs. I had stored previously here and was very happy thats why I came back. But recently I just found out that their 5 day grace period is actually 4 days apparently they count your due date as day one. So now I have to pay a $25 late fee. And my bf went to get something a few weeks ago out of our storage and found a dead rat so be careful with what you store here. This will be my last month here and I will never store here again.

I highly suggest you go somewhere else for your storage needs. This place is ran by a revolving door of managers and nothing gets done. If you have an issue with them they blame previous manager. I rented there for several years as did my family members rent two additional units . Combined we spent around $30.000 in storage fees over the years. Not to mention the constant rent increases! Its robbery! I am no longer a customer of this place and it feels great! I would rather bury my belongings in a hole in my back yard then rent from them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from extra space storage . I bet they dont even read their reviews.......have a nice day.UPDATE: I sent a detailed letter with all my contact info included and never heard a word from this extra space corp.... the same way they treated us when we were customers.... case and point!!UPDATE

I needed a storage unit that was cheaper than the $100 a month I was paying. Not only did they save me about HALF of what I was paying, they made it super simple and quick. I had the unit rented without having to go to the location. Terrific service!!!

I have tried to cancel my storage unit 3 different times with this company. First by email. I was told all I had to do was reply to the email to confirm closing on my account. I did so. Didn’t get closed was charged AUTOMATICALLY on the following due date.. I called to close my account, told the company 2 separate times that I no longer have the keys for the lock, I asked if they could just cut it off they said, absolutely. They didn’t cut it off and I’ve been charged now TWO MORE MONTHS, called again today since the Local site is closed I spoke with customer service, they said they aren’t able to do anything and I’d have to contact the site manager. This storage has drawn my account in the negative on 2 occasions. I’ve followed all the proper steps and have done what they have asked to close my account. I would not recommend this company for your storage needs and if you plan on closing your account and have your own lock, GO REMOVE IT YOURSELF.Oh and on top of those issues, I’ve come to drop off or pick up items out of my unit at 7pm or later, the lights aren’t working in the halls and in the unit it’s self. There’s always people congregating in their units like they are hanging out there? People riding bikes around like it’s a living community

Bait & Switch! When we showed up to rent the unit we had inquired upon, the price completely changed from what was quoted in our reservation. They also added mandatory insurance. When we asked them to honor the rate quoted in our reservation, he refused to look at the confirmation number.I would pay extra elsewhere!

The two managers selina and paige are outstanding.they are always so helpful and friendly. I have had other storage lockers but this place feels more like a home. I recommend extra space to anyone in need of a place to store stuff whether it be a few weeks or several yrs. They will make sure you are happy.

I have been waiting a month for my things to get here after moving across country. I booked a reservation when I knew I was moving. William has been in constant contact with me and pushed my reservation back time and time again since I was unsure when my stuff was coming. He has made my moving experience better honestly. When it was finally time to move in he had everything ready for me to sign and made the final steps so much easier. You cant ask for better service or more understanding people.

In January when I initially rented a unit there, I asked if there was a problem with rodents. The clerk said a definitive NO, adding that she had things in storage there and wouldnt have her things there if RATS were a problem.Believing her, I would leave my containers/luggage open for faster and easier accessibility when I came and went. I began to notice the smell of urine and thought maybe someone had relieved themselves in an emergency situation. The smell continued to exist and i brought things to put in the unit to assist of covering the smell.Then one day, hurrying, I put some things in the unit and left. When I returned about 2 hours later, I noticed holes were BITTEN in a makeup bag i had set in my open suitcase, a tube of toothpaste had been chomped on, water bottles had been punctured and some food items had been gnawed.VERY UPSET, I went into the office and showed the damaged bag and pictures of the bottles of water and chomped on toothpaste stating, LOOK AT WHAT THE RATS YOU DONT HAVE DID!!!.I was given the information to file a claim but when I called I was so heated and unpleasant I couldnt finish the call and advised it would be in the best interest of both parties if I phoned at a later date.Yesterday when i went in i learned THERE WAS NO INCIDENT REPORT made which I was informed was procedural in incidents as described and the gentleman that took pictures of my pictures, was no longer at that location! I also learned that there was in increase last month on the price. How can a unit I rented at $17 total nearly $30 monthly, I have no idea. I do know that now i have the means to move my things elsewhere, I wont be participating in paying high prices for the broom closet sized, infested unit!!! BEWARE

The price went up, but the amenities didnt change. Good luck if you have a full-size vehicle or a truck, theres not much room for even my subcompact to move around. Still, fairly cheap.

It was ok but not having electricity is no good the facility should be in proper running order for all its customers. If not for that then it would get 5 stars but seriously this is 2020 isnt electric just a given.

Ok this is long but important. WILLIAM the kid with the star wars tattoos. THAT MAN NEEDS A RAISE. So I was moving to South Dakota and was there getting the new house together. I left my 18 year old stepson in charge. Due to the gods being bored, I wasnt able to get back to Phoenix before we had to pack up and be out of our house here. Which meant my stepson was left with the task of finding storage, renting a truck, and packing up a house that 7 people lived in all by himself on only a week. I dont know if you know many 18 year old boys, but they arent usually on the ball. Anyway, after 6 other places, he lands at extra space. WILLIAM stands out because my son is a star wars nerd. He not only helped my son (who was pretty overwhelmed at this point) figure out what size he needed, he gave him an amazing deal. Like, Im not even sure it was legal to charge us so little. Then when I had issues transferring the money for the space, he waited while we called 27,000 different departments to get it fixed, even though it was his last space of that size. Any issues we had, he was right there to help with, even things that were clearly not his job. He needs a raise. I dont know what hes paid but it isnt enough.

There is only one thing i can say.....amazing, down to earth, understanding staff that has worked with me and my chaotic hurry to get a unit that i could not fit my belongings into....no problem....they assisted me in getting a bigger unit and had more patience with me than i think i had for myself. I thank u all for that. Its nice to deal with human beings that understand that life happens! You gals have been great!!!

Went to clear out my unit and it was COVERED IN RAT DROPPINGS!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVER!

I have been pleased with my experience working with Extra Space. The customer service on the phone was very good & I liked that they made an appointment for me to meet with the manager at a time that worked for me. Since I havent needed a storage facility for a very long time, I wasnt quite sure about the space I needed. The customer service rep was very helpful in suggesting the size of space & very courteous. The site manager was also very courteous & efficient. I dont have anything negative to say about the experience. The location worked for me & it has easy access & seems to be very clean & secure.

The manager Rob is an excellent manager, he has always followed up on any concerns and questions Ive had. He is thorough with doing walk threws at night and in the morning which keeps the riffraff away. I feel confident knowing my valuables are secure at Extra Space Storage.
