As a designer, I live in Home Goods. Tried this one in Boise (I was visiting from Vegas for a job). Decent selection on both my visits.Staff was pleasant in the check out, but getting a rug was not great. Ill be with you when I can when two staff members were in the back chatting isnt really great service. They seemed to want to finish their conversation and then went to go get carts of stuff to stage up put away and then about 10 minutes later when I came back, had to ask again what rug it was I wanted?Do better HG.... Your other stores have much better service than this!

Good prices lots to look at. Keeps me in good with wife to shop the entire place!

Nice place for home shopping. You can find good deals on clothes, socks, underwear, kitchen utensils, home decor and furniture... not a big choice of home furniture because they are in shortage of staff. Very friendly staff... it is recommended!!!

Always love visiting this store.Although, my husband wasnt too interested in shopping. Today they were lacking on merchandise in some departments. Im sure its because the trucks not getting through or companies are closed due to Covid. And its not just this store, the grocery stores and others arent as stock like we are used to. I am sure it will get better.

This place is always crowded & if you go later to avoid people en masse then their stock is fairly low and finding what you want is less likely. The registers can have a mile long line, but they do seem to move fairly quickly. They always have more than one cashier helping with the line, unlike most stores nowadays, which is nice.

Always an experience for sure. They have alot of nice products from clothes to pans. Spices to jewelry. Unfortunately their prices dont seem to match the claim. Maybe a few bucks at most. Their store is mostly clean. I enjoy that. Customer service is lacking. Can never find a person to help. I walked around for several minutes looking for help and no one. I get in this pandemic everyone is short handed. But hey if your looking for a job they are hiring. I do appreciate they have optional mask wearing. Decent place to shop

Usually there are lots of fun finds here. Yesterday there was low stock in the Home Goods section. This is likely more of a reflection on the supply chain because of COVID-19 rather than on TJ Maxx itself, but I was disappointed nonetheless.

I always seem to find what I am looking for here. The prices are great and the checkout line is always quick. Ive always had a great experience with the staff and everyone seems to be in a good mood and willing to help with a smile if asked.

I went there yesterday and today and it was really fun!!!!! I bought some really cute leggings from there yesterday and they were to big on me so tonight I went there again and I bought the same leggings in a size large and I really hope that they will fit me and I bought myself a hello kitty cup from there as well and I love shopping at tjmaxx they have such cute stuff from there

It is like a marked-down department store here, offering everything from furniture to olive oil. Good place to hunt for a good bargain!

Ive never left a negative review but felt compelled to after my interaction with an associate at TJ Maxx (middle aged lady with very short, dark hair). She gave me some of the worst customer service Ive ever had and was completely condescending and rude. Ive been shopping here forever but will not shop here again. I called the same morning and asked for a manager to give this feedback to and a woman named Jeannette was put on the phone. Well Jeannette could not care less and Im pretty sure she was actually the associate I had the interaction with because literally all she said was ok thank you for the feedback. No care, concern, or apology for the associates rude approach. I talked with someone who used to work at TJ Maxx and after hearing my description of this ladys personality and looks, they are positive Jeannette and the associate I interacted with are the same person because this was pretty typical for how she treats people and the former employee has witnessed her upsetting many customers. If any higher ups see this (and I hope they do) Jeannette has no business being in customer service and does NOT care about losing business for your store.There are way too many places to shop out there to put up with such rudeness.

Always great deals. I would recommend avoiding Sundays. The line usually goes halfway through the store...

Its alright I guess. Its not really my type of store. Just spending time with family for me. But yet I ended up putting more in the cart then they did. Funny!!!

If you have been to other Home Goods stores, you will be disappointed by this Boise store. Shelves are nearly bare. For a rapidly growing population, why are we so forgotten by T.J. Maxx & Home Goods.

The products they have and prices are good. The problem is that I went on a Saturday and they only had 3 checkers. I waited about 45 minutes to check out.

I love TJMaxx but this one in Boise needs to expand. Its depressing having only 2 in the whole area and bot seeing them make any attempts to find a larger space. With the growth of the city there must be a new store added or move to a larger building.

I had not been to a TJMax in a long time but their customers have some seriously hard core brand loyalty. I dont know if everything in the store was 90% off or what but the line in that place wrapped around the whole store! And not a 2020 socially distanced line either! They didnt even have all the check stands open. Since I wasnt willing to spend an hour just standing, I did not make a purchase or even stay very long but there were some real cute things in there. Id like to go back when theres actually a chance to look around and it doesnt feel like spring time black Friday.

Went to TJ Max yesterday for the first time,, wasnt impressed. Ive been to TJ Max in other states and there decorated and very clean. This store needs to be more organized and new merchandise. The clerk that checked me out was really nice. However, on the way out, my husband didnt know where to place the cart. He put the cart near the door and a sales clerk yelled from a distance, put the cart outside. We smiled and waved at her. The store is okay but, it could be so much more. Im thinking they just dont have enough employees to stay on top of everything, so Ill try them at a later date.

A great store to find, well home goods. They have a huge selection of rugs, pillows, sheets, curtains, bath stuff, etc. I did however find their furniture to be overpriced given the quality. They sell home decor and clothes as well - but you just have to look through to find the good stuff. They have quite a bit of kitchen and home organization things which is nice!

The lines are always crazy long and parking is awful... they do have unique items at decent prices

I love the variety and prices! On this visit, I was a little disappointed in that two items I wanted didnt have prices. And the one thing I really wanted, a french press, had low inventory. But these minor setbacks wont prevent me from going back! Highly recommend it!

Great store for finding bargains. Most recently (april 2021) plan to spend 15 or more min in line. Due to how busy the store is. Even with nearly all registers open the line and wait is long

I have shopped here for many times. The staffs usually are very nice and friendly, but I now realize it depends on who we meet on that day. Today I was so surprised. Helena at the jewelry was so rude roght after I refused to apply for a TJ credit card. I didn’t mind her attitude at first since I thought she may have a bad day, but until she only let me pay for a necklace at the jewelry checkout and get to the line at the normal checkouts to pay for my other stuffs. That is nonsenses, so I wanted cancel everything. Then she said this is an exception since this checkout is only for jewelry.I appreciate that they clean the shopping carts after each use. That makes me come back, but if I get treated as how she treated me today, definitely will not return.

PLEASE TJ Maxx, buy the building next door and build a separate Home Goods. The city is growing too fast for a combined store. The store is great, but at this point I dread going because it is not large enough for its customer base. BUILD A LARGER STORE!

Everyone is super helpful and nice. The line was very long but the wait was short due to the efficiency of the employees.

Upset I havent been in until now, so many fun finds. It is quite crowded and hard to get around. I dont know if this is due to COVID or not, but I went in on a weekday and there was so many people and it was a bit overwhelming. Cashier was friendly, but the line was long. If youre willing to spend some time here you can find something nice and at an okay price. Wouldnt recommend if youre claustrophobic.

This is my last time shopping at this store and will be canceling my store credit card. Just stood in line 30 minutes waiting to check out, I had already invested some time looking for a winter jacket and shoes so I didnt want it to be a complete waste of time; however standing in line waiting to give a store my money is not how I want to spend my time. Not acceptable & not good customer service TJ Maxx!

This is a combined TJ and HomeGoods store. HomeGoods inventory is decent but not as much as a dedicated store might be.Great prices nonetheless

Agree - this store has more than most when it comes to selections BUT no one in this store bothers with social distancing ! You can be looking at something and someone will come right up beside you like theres nothing going on! Masks are good people but they dont do everything - if you nit wits even care to read reviews, please keep your distance when shopping. I know the store may even have announcements to that effect but unless theres someone on the floor monitoring that, it isnt happening. I will just move away to another section and come back later but its still annoying that people just behave like its their own space or I will do whatever I like.....its just rude and inconsiderate!

Monday morning Covid-shopping was fairly light. Foot signs directing traffic flow abound. The shopping selection was still there but not as many choices as usual when shelves are overflowing with products. Still I was able to find something for the bathroom. Was greeted at the front entrance and told the carts were sanitized 👍

This is my place of choice to go for anything that I might need to decorate any room in my home. The bonus is TJMax all in the same building... shopping for clothes or children items makes it fun.

Dude…. Call more cashiers when it’s a long line. Seriously see like 15 workers and 2 people are running the cashiers… 40 people in line. Ridiculous.

Good deals a little busy today but the workers were on point and moved people through checkout smoothly.

Both variety and quality of their items are good. Specially their kitchen products. You can find most of the item with a reasonable price. Their staff also are friendly.

Normally, we have a pretty good experience at TJMAXX. When they first reopen during Covid, their protocols seemed well in place and organized. Today was vastly different. It was packed and harried. For stage 4 opening there were too many people.. There was little social distancing we left within a few minutes. Nope.

Store was great. Customers were bad. Mask wearing chaos. Chins were covered but social distancing and proper mask wearing...... not happening. I felt uncomfortable being in the store.

The people here are very nice, and the store offers a good range of products. However, today we had a flat tire in the store parking lot, and we were helped by an employee here named John. He helped replace our tire with our spare all while being extremely helpful and good-natured with us. It was very fortunate he was there to help us today, and it is very fortunate that he works here as well! It is because of him that this store deserves a five star rating!
