This hair/beauty store left a bad taste in my mouth. We were greeted by security when entering and walked around for maybe 5 minutes before someone (Asian man) came down the aisle to just stand there and never ask for if we needed help. I was the only customer in there and it was security guard, Asian male, and what looks to be another sales associate in the store and I had to go ask for assistance. Unprofessional and just made me feel as if they were watching to see if I was stealing. I think it’s interesting how places like this want to make money off of African Americans but don’t want to help out.

Just went to remy co for 2 wigs like always! I was immediately greeted by security and felt very welcomed 😊 The pretty bilingual lady was so patient with me! Last time I was here the girl behind the counter seemed very bitter even though I was never mean 😥 although the other 3 times i went to Remy co. Everyone was soo polite! Will definitely come back for christmas and my birthday again ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The store is well kept and clean. The prices were reasonable and many differen items you just cant find anywhere.The lady that helped me out was mediocre. Even though I didnt buy what I came in for I would probably come back again.

The wife and I stop by here it was recommended from a beauty and hair supply company. My wife wears a lot of wigs due to a previous health issue and I must say I enjoy every personality she has based on the wig color and style she is wearing. And this place has a huge selection in many styles and colors but they are a little bit pricier than most about 15 to 20% more but given the mood and reaction my wife had to be in there its definitely a place to go. Also my wife who is a bit of a fashionista said that their clothing selection was really really great though she didnt mention again the price thing. Also you got to be willing to travel down to 11th Street and Van Buren thats the greatest part of town. Sometimes you got to go through the worst stuff to get the greatest stuff

I have to drive out my area because they have a larger selection of colors that are eye catching especially when your loosing hair. They greeted me as soon as I came in and I felt welcomed. I drive out of my own city where there is a Remybevause they have what I want.

New to the state and I love this place.Huge selections,fair prices,big bright and clean.The owner is nice and friendly discussed (Adele)and staff members are quick and helpful.Its worth the 20 mile travel distance

I live downtown Phoenix and was super happy to find a beauty supply closer to me. I usually drive all the way to Mid K on 16th and southern. This beauty supply has a pretty good selection. So this had become my go to. HOWEVER the last time I came in the gentleman that was working the cash register wasn’t very friendly NOT ONCE did he acknowledge or even say thank you after I purchased my items . He just rang me up and rushed back over to what he was doing. If it’s one thing I’m big on is customer service, I rather drive across town (which I’ve done ever since) to where I feel like they appreciate my business. Oh the security guard that works there is ALWAYS PLEASANT tho.

LOVED IT!!! IT WAS SO BIG AND FILLED WITH EVERYTHING A GIRL FROM CHICAGO WOULD NEED! I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE CLEANLINESS AND HOW NEATLY ARRANGED EVERYTHING WAS! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I DIDNT HAVE TO TRAVEL A THOUSAND MILES TO FIND WHAT I NEEDED!❤

Selection was moderate BUT I dont like businesses that dont allow refunds or exchanges on unopened items (ponytails)!

I like and use them often. They have a discount card that you wont get if you dont know what to ask for. Spend $200 and receive $10 off. I have used this $10 at least 5 times- just think how much you spend on bundles- a free set of press on nails are always a ➕. Just ask for the pink card at checkout and say Kiki from Google sent you 😆

First few times I visited this place, I loved it. Great affordable selection of curly hair products for all hair types, including my 2B/3A hair. Half priced items like press on nails and lashes with good options.But buying a wig here? Awful.These girls couldnt sell a glass of water to me if I was on fire.I was looking for an unnatural colored wig, any price, any length. Maaaaybe a free part lace front wig if they had it. I dont know if the girl was just tired or baked, but she did not try to help me. No enthusiasm. I asked if they had anything like what I was looking for. She stared blankly at the wall of wigs for a second, squinted, then said Nah, I dont think so. Ok then Im thinking, so should I buy a wig from you . . . To quote, Nah, I dont think so. 🙄I wasnt the only one. I watched her do the same thing to two other customers who wanted to buy human hair wigs. Didnt try to talk them up or anything. She must really not want to make money for the owners.Go here for hair/skin/nail supplies, DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAIR.Just save a little bit for an Uber or Gas, and go to UB or Wigland! Or heck, buy from Amazon, lol, I think the girls working here will thank you 🤦‍♀️

Ive been shopping at Remy co since 2014 at the tempe location. since I live in Glendale I equally love both locations but I visit the phx location more often. Ive been getting hair here since high-school & its the only hair store in phx I go to idc what side I move to !!!

Decent location and selection. Armed guard, staff and surveillance makes it a bit uncomfortable while shopping for hair gel shampoo.

The customer service is great and the inventory is always stocked. I never have to worry about if they have what Im looking for.

I went into the store on Van Buren And purchased a human hair wig, an outfit and lashes on 04/24/20.I went to cut the lace on my wig on 4/25/20 and seen Dead lice on this human hair wig. I called the store and the Chinese man said I don’t know nothing about that to everything that I said I said. Don’t go there people. I never even put the wing on my head. So I highly recommend y’all choose a different hair store.

If I could give this place a zero star review. I would! Honestly one of the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had.I went in for the first time this place weekend, not particularly looking for anything, I did find a few things I liked here and there ( most of the items in the store are out dated and the makeup looks expired) I purchased a bonnet and out of excitement and curiosity I opened the item right there in store (after I had paid for it), I noticed that this “new item” looked used and dirty, I showed this to the cashier (an Asian man) and asked for an exchange, this one who had sold me this item and saw me open it in store refused to exchange or refund the item unless I put it back in the box 😒 anyways I did. After that he goes “no I can’t let you exchange it, this was a final sale item” I told him he did not mention that at the time of purchase And that their return policy clear states that an item can be exchange with 14 days after the purchase date, I had just bought this time and I did not want to take a filthy bonnet home. This man proceeded to get aggressive with me and yell at me because I simply wanted to exchange an item. It escalated to the point where I had to call the police and get an exchange. I honestly will not step foot in this establishment and recommend that all my black brothers and sisters to shop from black owned business, this place is not worth your time or money. I’m also working on sending a complaint to the better business bureau. This mans behavior was unacceptable and extremely unprofessional!!!!

Pretty good selection, wish they kept up to date on current styles and kept inventory of crochet hair thats popular. Overall, I like the store. Clean and nice helpful staff. Very willing to speak to you and help you find what you want or an alternative. 😀

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of hair care products and hair. They didnt have the product I was looking for, but the young lady, sorry I dont remember you name, was so helpful, she helped me find another product to try and suggested some other things. The owners, or management were standing at the door never greeted me, whenever I looked up, they were looking directly at me. I only heard them speak when they rudely spoke to the young lady helping me,to ask her what was she doing over there? I guess they thought we were being too friendly.....

This store never fails me with what I need. I went to 3 different stores for hair because I didnt feel like driving over there and didnt find what I needed. I went here today and not only found what I needed but the color I was looking for. I will no longer drive all around. I am going to just come straight here.

By far the worst beauty supply store Ive been to. Took my niece to get a wig for her birthday, after trying on many wigs she decided on a wig, the girl told us the wig was 78.00 she was excited we get to the counter it was 121.00 most places would honor it but they didnt so sense we didnt purchase the wig the made us pay 1.00 for the wig cap, never was we told that!

Crazy large selection, and the customer service is top-notch. My only note is, they only carry black caps and if youre fair-skinned, or if youre getting a blond wig, it may not match. Spend the extra $2.16, and buy a beige cap.

Visited this store for the first time yesterday and I loved it!!!! Great wig selection, competitive prices, and the store is huge!!!! Reminds me of the beauty supply stores I used to go to in IL. I normally buy my hair and hair products online but I found the cutest wig here!!! Wasnt really feeling the clothes but they have cute sandals. Definitely will be returning.

Even though the roomie company store caters to the African-American race white people are also very welcome and it’s very pleasant experience in the store I love other wigs and a product that they have available I highly recommend the store what are your white or black blue green brown or yellow are welcome

Sizes run small here. Im between an large and XL. They had very few of either. I did find an amazing 1X top do I bought that.The location was convenient because I was downtown on my way to an event and desperate to find something.Customer service was ok.

Nice people! I really love Autumn who is one of the sales associates. Shes knowledgeable and helpful. Owners are friendly with a good selection of products and they will order things they dont have if you ask.

Good selection of hair and hair products. Small selection of clothes that seemed a little older. Makeup section was a bit dusty and outdated. I dont like the pushy security guard. I get the fact that its not the best side of town but not everyone steals. They could be a little bit more careful removing security tags as it did rip a hole in a shirt that I ended up noticing once the exchange policy expired.

Racist ... friend and I were laughing at a product and they sent over the security . I asked why did he need to come over to us . Owner advised him we might be stealing ... I visit this store often, hair products reasonably priced, even bought a few items of clothing that I was satisfied with. I wouldve given 5 stars but ALL of their products (except the clothes) have a sensor that is TAPED onto the product making it very very hard to remove once you get it home. I spend about 15 minutes picking the tape off and its super annoying. I understand taking security measures but they definitely use too much tape and make it hard on the customers.

Love it! They have decent prices and a variety of hair supplies. Their make up is pretty good,they have testers for almost every beauty product. I would give 5 stars But they have a small selection of clothing items and they are priced rather high for being off brand. Outside of the clothing issue the staff were very personable and courteous!!! I will be a customer as long as they are open for business.

Ive been there several times. But this new security guard followed me around the store literally every aisle I was in! No other staff just him. Im black, Ive had it happen in the past. And to be honest its fine that you want to kind of keep an eye on your product, but Ive never felt so dehumanized in my life. I dont steal. If you want your customers to feel welcome dont have a Treyvone Martin security guard breathing down their necks! So rude! I spend about $50 each visit just on hair products! Come on! Funny thing is first time I went there another couple were actually complaining about the same thing but they were cursing and I couldnt see who the comments were directed towards at the time. But as they were leaving they said something to the security guard again and left. Complaining about being stalked around. Treat us like human beings! Id rather go to BBB fashion they have a better selection, are cheaper and I have ALWAYS been treated great!

They greet you when you walk in so thats good. They have a lot of different products, all kinds of wigs, and clothing. But the Security guard watches and kind of follows you from afar and nobody really asks you if you need help. Its a big place so after looking around I had to go all the way back to the front to look for someone to help me buy a wig.
