I just moved to the area and brought my Volkswagen Touareg in for an oil change and also had a brake pad light on so had them check the brakes. First of all I was amazed at how thorough the group is. I had all services done because the prices I felt were reasonable. One thing that struck me when I first got there was that people waiting in line werent like me and first time customers they were repeat customers and that gave me a feeling of confidence that I brought my vehicle to the right shop. I was greeted at the door by the owner Chris and had Derrick for my technician and I cant say enough about the professionalism of both of these guys. The entire staff was a pleasure to deal with. They even located an extra key fob for my Volkswagen that I had no clue was hidden under the hood in the engine area by the previous owner. That alone saved me about $400 because I was about to buy another one. That also made my day. They stand by their service as well with a warranty that is second to none. Thank you Tanner motors for being a shop thats a cut above the rest. And Im really glad youre just across the street from where I live.

I just had a diagnostic check done. They pointed out items that need to be looked at and possibly replaced. I checked with my previous service provider and those items had been replaced three to seven months ago. I am glad that I knew what was important to ask. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and accommodating. They were very busy, so that could be good and bad. Make sure that you have an appointment. The office where you wait is small, so if you have to wait for your car, it might get crowded when it is hot outside. They do provide refreshments stored in a small fridge, plus coffee. Overall, I would return there for service, even if it is a drive from where I live.

I took in our 2005 XC70 for a transmission inspection. Not only did they check the transmission, they did a full diagnostic with a detailed report. Ultimately, we decided not to fix the transmission as it wouldnt be worth the money to do so. However, I was satisfied with the service. We would definitely use Tanner again.

I have had an ongoing positive experience with Tanner Motors over the past year. Initially, I brought my Audi Q7 in for a second opinion after having the dealer dx damaged engine mounts at 35k mi. They were able to confirm some of the claims made by the dealer and offer a competitive cost for replacement. I have since returned for repairs for a rear window shade, and now a blown cylinder. Both Derrick and Chris have been immensely helpful and straight forward with the extent of repair and whether the repair should be completed and who by. Flew in from out of state to buy an Audi and had Tanner Motors perform a pre-purchase inspection and then an oil change once I took delivery. I had a list of model specific items that I wanted them to review in addition to their normal inspection criteria. They provided me with an in-depth web based report of their findings including the specific items I requested be looked at. Once I arrived at the shop to get the oil changed, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and they let me inspect the car while on the lift and shared their experiences with similar model Audis. If I was local I wouldnt hesitate to have them work on my vehicles.

They did a thorough and professional diagnosis and determined there was an oil leak and there was oil collecting under the timing belt. They told me what it would take to fix it, how much it would cost, how long it take to repair and what could happen if it weren’t repaired.

Great servicing of my 2009 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 sedan at the 60,000 mileage point. Servicing included a ZF6HP26 transmission and rear differential oil drain and fill. Also coolant change and 4 wheel alignment. Derrick is top rate and is fully able to address all your auto related concerns with prompt and sound recommendations. Tanner Motors is really a full service shop alternative to dealerships in the Phoenix area.

Radiator replacement. -- Service was awesome, timely, and very professional. They even did a thorough inspection on my vehicle and sent me a detailed report regarding the status of my vehicle explaining every yellow or red alert from their inspection. I will definitely be back.

I own a 2013 BMW that I blew the motor in it. I had one quote from Becks European that was $15,000 plus they were already adding another 3k before they even got started. That was after we had already paid 1500 to them. Then we were referred to Tanner from a neighbor. Night and day difference! They have exceptional customer service, very transparent on what they are doing and what needs to be done. If there was anything outside the scope of what I wanted, they called and discussed it with me. They went out of their way and found an obscure warranty from the manufacturer that was a 10 year 120,000 mile warranty and saved me 2800.00. They didnt have to do that and could have charged me for it. We did discuss what should be done while the motor was out and he told us the absolute necessary parts so we didnt have to pay double labor later on. They knew that we had a budget and and they strived to stay within in it as well as discounted some to help maintain it. Derrick did exceptional work and even though they ran into issues and ended up needing a couple of extra days, they didnt over-charge for the extra labor. The quality of the work is very impressive they have earned our business for life. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has a European car!

Tanner Motors was the most helpful maintenance shop Ive been too. I needed a specialty shop for a full motor swap on Infiniti Q60. They not only did it fast and inexpensively but allowed me lots of flexibility in bringing extra parts for install and communication. Highly recommend for all foreign car work or any general maintenance. Derrick was fantastic in touching base often.

I absolutely love this shop and would recommend it to anyone. Always honest, staff very polite and professional. They have a wonderful reporting system that take in depth photos and reporting link that they share with you so you always know whats going on under the car in real time. Also if the car has to be in for a lengthy period of time and you dont have to go too far away, they will get you a lift there and back if you cannot wait at the shop. I just got back from Tanner Motors checking my brakes and what an amazing experience. They are absolutely my new go to garage for service I will need with my Mercedes. Ultimately, they determined that the brakes did not need attention at this time. Additionally, they looked over a host of over things with my vehicle with photos and narrative to describe what they observed. All of that was emailed and texted to me in a link. They provided transportation to get me home and back again with lovey mints, a sticky note pad and pen in the car. Scheduling was very easy and Derrick was fantastic. I had read the other reviews which did lead to my selecting them. Since I do factor reviews into my decision making - I felt I should share my hugely satisfying experience. Since my dealership warranty is now over - I will definitely use them for all my future needs.

Very good customer service by their front man Derrick. Honest and up front about all work being done. I took them my truck and told them the u joint needed to be replaced. They ordered the parts ahead of time so they would be there before the day of the repair. Upon their inspection more was wrong and explained everything before any more work was done.

I found this shop about 3 years ago and they are now the only shop I go to. I have a 2010 BMW 5 series and had neglected service for a while so I took it in and Derrick gave me a list of problems and prioritized what needed to be done first and we have worked thru the list and since I owned it outright so it was worth fixing instead of just buying a new car I am at 125,000 miles and it runs as good as ever. During the inspection for my oil change, two items were found. I really appreciated Derek going out of his way to help. He called the dealer to find out if my vehicle was still under warranty and when my manufacturer warrant would expire. That’s what I call excellent customer service. This is why I keep coming back.

Derrick was very honest, another shop had diagnosed a faulty alternator ($1k expense) and he managed to get me in with the technician to get a second opinion, this was on an extremely busy Friday afternoon and it turned out alternator is fine and it was just the battery. Great service, honest, clean shop and very friendly.
