Really liked this place. I initially went in for a 30k mile work which included oil, filters, and a few other fluids. The price was very reasonable for the labor. The next day my trunk would not open. I went back and they were able to replace the latch and resolve the issue, now my trunk opens. A few other people I know go to this place and they are very pleased so safe to say I will be visiting again and pleased with the service.

I was a little hesitant after reading some negative reviews. My daughter and son-in-law have been bringing their vehicles here for years so I trusted what they said. Glad I did. I brought my vehicle in for a second opinion on what I was told about my brakes from another place. I did not tell them what I was told. I wanted to see what they said. They are true to their name. They are honest. No brake work needed at this time. I had them make a few minor repairs and I found their work and prices reasonable. My appointment was at 11 am but I dropped my vehicle off when they opened because that is a when I could get a ride. My vehicle was done by 11:30. I am very pleased and will be back when my brakes need to be done and other repairs.

Incredibly honest, quick, and helpful. I had a rather unique problem that they worked around as quickly as possible to get me out the door and on the road. Prices were completely fair according to what Ive experienced in the past, despite the extra hassle I gave them. The manager, Tracy, works very hard to be polite and get around issues. Hands down the most friendly and helpful mechanic Ive been to ever! I got a flat tire, and even though they didnt carry the tire that I needed, they offered to put on my spare tire for me free of charge! They even made sure that the spare tire goes to the rear so that its safer! I cant express how grateful I am! Wouldnt know what to without their help!!!

I have gone to Honest 1 for several years. My nephew, who knows quite a bit about cars, recommended Honest 1 after taking his car there and being impressed with their knowledge and honesty. He would have known if they made exaggerations, errors, or recommended work that wasnt needed. They were straight up.They will tell me what would be best for my car, breaking down the different tasks one by one. If I ask for prioritization of jobs....which are immediately important and those that can wait a bit, they clearly explain which and why. The shop is clean, the long-term crew good at what they do and good at explaining it to me. They are organized, efficient, communicative, and also give back to the community. I have much respect for their work, and relief at the security I feel knowing I can count on them to be clear and honest.I recently purchased a used vehicle from a dealership. No, I dont get service at the dealership. I trust Honest 1.

It would be too premature to give an opinion on how I feel about their job on my car because it was my first time as a customer and my car require a basic service though I believe it was done properly but Honest-1 Auto should review their policy on the customer service aspect which I beleive its very poor. While waiting for the car to be service employee at the reception desk does not offer any beverage as complementary gesture while employees do have access to bottles of water. Is it really that importan? Its not about the importance of it its about an honest way to express gratitud to a person who had done the ultimate act of faith by trusting an stranger to do a repair in their car. The unused portable refrigerator and the coffee machine in the reception area ought to be put back into service ,honesty and quality its in the details. Great customer service means provide to customers a print out of the job performed if requested, in my particular case such a report was unreadable due to a toner out of ink not second option was offered, by improving their social skills and better communication will make a big difference.

Was told to drop my car off on a Wednesday, and that they could “fit me in,” to check out my problem. After keeping my vehicle all day, and not giving any heads up or communication about the status of my vehicle, I showed up just before closing, with my car vaulted up, wheels off, and they said they hadn’t had a chance yet to look at it. They never asked if they could keep my car overnight, or gave any communication that that’s what would be needed (signed up for text and email communication, heard nothing). So they quickly put my car back together so I could have a vehicle to get home. Cringe. Not recommended

I have taken my car to A1 Honest Auto a few times and every time it has been a great experience. They keep you updated on how the service is going on your car and give great feedback on services or parts that may need attention. They don’t try to upsell you ok things that are not needed. The cost for services provided are reasonable too. I highly recommend them if any service is needed for your car. Joe and his team run a great shop. They also go the extra mile by doing different drives to help their community.

I had amazing experience with Hones-1 Auto Care. A little funny, but well...These people ARE HONEST. The first time, my old BMW acted weird after replacing the battery. The engine would stall by itself by itself. I couldnt drive like that. I left my car with Honest-1. They called me next day with great news. Everything worked fine, no repair was needed. I wasnt charged a penny for their help. Wonderful! A few days ago, another story. The odometer failed. I stopped by H-1 again. Left the car and got a phone call next day. Everything was fine! No repair needed. You are magicians I said...No charge again. I loved it. If they were not honest, they could replace a little thing or something and tell me to pay. No, that has not happened. Nice customer service, reason not a 5 star is they charged me $20 more for a water pump pulley because they said Ford changed to a 4 bolt pulley and mine had 3 but when I got my car back I count 4 so not sure what they was talking about and even if they did that is not my fault they ordered wrong part when they gave me the price over the phone and then also they said would be $581 plus taxes which apparently was $589.99 plus taxes and then plus $60 worth of shop supplies and fees they didnt mention. I had a $30 off coupon and at $581 plus taxes that they told me over the phone minus the $30 should have been $551 plus taxes but my total was $618?! Just be up front about all your fees so there are no surprises.

Best Auto Shop I have been to and will continue to go to. They care about their customers and performing quality care on each vehicle. I also appreciate their straightforwardness on what is essential. Each time I have come in they make you feel welcome and are above all are trustworthy.

I have use Honest-1 exclusively for oil changes on our cars. Standard procedure.....I could do it myself but I dont have time. Once mechanic does oil change and gives the car. The front calls with a laundry list of issues that need to be address. Today I needed an estimate to get a fuel door spring replaced as to the fuel door wont open. The estimate came back 188 dollars! I asked the front desk what the break down was and he told me the part was 6 dollars but it required 1 hour of labor. I declined.Out of frustration I did a little research and found the part is 7 dollars from the Toyota dealership and all you have to do is snap the spring into place. Just a side note after receiving the part from Toyota I explained my experience and the gentleman gave me the part for FREE!I cannot accept this type of service from Honest-1. We will never use Honest-1 again.

Always take great care of my car and prices arent through the roof. I feel like they dont add on a hundred different things when you go in for a oil check like other places. I actually moved away from them and yet I still make the drive to bring my car to them!

Weve taken my wifes car here a few times and always had excellent service. I recently had to take my car in for the first time and was really impressed with the whole process. Making the appointment on the website was easy, drop off was quick and friendly and, most importantly, when they called with the estimate there was zero pressure to do anything more that what was necessary to get my car running. I was also really impressed with the price - it was considerably lower than Id been expecting. I think this is an instance where the name really does say it all - honest people doing good work.

We take all of our vehicles to Nick - from our classic trucks to our new SUV. Cant say enough positive things!

H1 managed to fit me in quickly for an oil-change - the check-in process was efficient (no BS), the work was completed quickly and to my satisfaction and the rates charged were acceptable. The techs found a couple of items during inspection that I would not have seen, and they were handled quickly and at reasonable cost - again, no BS. Overall, I was pleased and will consider taking my other vehicle there for work.

Synthetic oil change was done quickly and at a reasonable price. The cost was stated up front and there was no up-selling. They also provide coffee and water while you wait. In and out in 40 minutes. I would recommend this repair facility.

Tracy the owner and Matt the service writer always seem to do a good job getting me a quick diagnosis and seem to fix things up rather quickly. Two others in my home use them for services as well and continue to return when the need rises. It is nice to have an honest well managed place to take your vehicle after hearing all those horror stories of people getting shafted at other places out there. Keep up the good job and I hope to see that PV Car Wash open soon to get rid of those fences and create some activity and stop making it look like a ghost town. Honest 1 is open and I hope they continue.

Called early this morning about my oil level alarm going off last night. Tracy was pleasant and answered my questions. Said I could come in without an appointment to get oil level topped off. Looked at it immediately and five minutes later it was ready and didn’t charge me. They also reset the computer. If I don’t go to my dealership, I would probably come here.

Car was broken. They fixed it. Cool.

My experience was amazing. I got really overpriced at another car repair shop so I called a few plays to get quotes. Honest-1 as upfront about costs and they didnt try to push anything on me. They just fixed what needed to be fixed and for a reasonable price! Very nice guys here !!!!

Brought our vehicles here and they have done good work. Long story short, they could have done non needed work I thought needed to be done. But they checked it out and told me my car didn’t need it. I trust them. Didn’t have an appointment but they put me in line and took care of me.

They changed the oil, no problem. Found some other things that needed to be done which I knew about. One of the turn signals needed new bulb. They replaced the bulb. Will definitely be returning.

I saw that they had good reviews. Theyre at a good location in my opinion, because you can walk to PV Mall while you wait for your vehicle if you need to. They did an oil change for my Fiat 500 and rotated my tires. Car is driving great. They looked into things and gave me recommendations for what my car needs, but I told them Ill do that in a few thousand miles. They werent pushy about it at all and didnt come across like salesman. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I made an appointment and they had me in and out when they promised. They called me when it was finished. It may have taken a little longer than expected, but they called me and kept me up to day. Overall - highly recommend.

I was first recommended this place from my Uber driver who told me he has been a customer here for years and was very satisfied.The guys here are always friendly and personable, especially the front desk attendant. I love that they offer a pick up and drop off service free of charge. They also leave a snack and note behind on the seat after each service. What a nice touch! I have never had a problem here and feel confident in patronizing their business because of their knowledge, their expertise in cars, and their fair pricing. They are not money hungry and truly are honest people -- never once have I felt they were taking advantage of me being a women and trying to get over on me.Location is great too. On quick services ( hey I think something is wrong can you guys check this?), I can walk over to Dutch Bros and grab a drink, or walk around inside PV Mall. They have a user friendly website as well which makes scheduling appointments a breeze and there always coupons for various services available, too.Ive even entrusted them with my first ever car purchase from a dealership -- which was a huge deal for me. The previous vehicle I brought here was a transition car I drove for a year while I saved up. After months and months of research, I finally found a car I was interested in purchasing and so I brought the car here for inspection. The inspection was very thorough and I felt confident they inspected all points and mechanical aspects of the car, they also did a test drive. I felt confident going ahead with the decision to purchase. I have had my car for almost a year without any issues.I would absolutely recommend these guys for any and all car service needs.

Been here twice. Both times with the services I asked for, they nailed it in fixing my problems. Im giving it three stars however is because they do an inspection and then recommend replacing things that dont need to be replaced. They said I needed my rotors and serpentine belt replaced, and they were worn down to the point of being unusable soon, but I personally checked them along with another mechanic, and both were completely fine. Theres an issue in the car mechanics business of offering unnecessary services because most customers cant tell what they really need. If you have a problem with your car, get the specific issue diagnosed and fixed, and ask for a second opinion on any other services.

I normally use the Hyundai dealership but after poor customer service tried this auto center and loved it! Great service, fast, and competitive pricing. They even left a small snack on my seat with a note. I will not be returning to Hyundai and continuing my cars service here!

Be careful with the word HONEST! A poor diagnosis at this place, cost me $500 bucks! They tried a repair, when a replacement would have been more logical and HONEST! Now Im back to square one. Now I need to REPLACE MANY PARTS!

Weve been using Honest 1 for about a year now for our three vehicles, two Toyotas and a Cadillac. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They fix whats broken at a reasonable cost. Free ride home locally. Even used the free towing once. You pay, but a check for the full amount comes in the mail. Have never had a bad experience with these folks. They also do a lot to help Veterans and the community as well as being Ecologically oriented. I recommend them highly.

I came in late Saturday expecting to set an appointment time for my car care. They took it right in evaluated the problem ordered the parts necessary and fixed it on the spot.My car was fixed and I was out of there in 45 minutes, unheard of late on a Saturday evening. They were very gracious.

I came here when I found a nail in my tire. Sadly, it had to be replaced. However, they did not have my size on location. They did have it in their warehouse, but it would be three hours before it would be delivered. Knowing I was on a time table, rather than me be unhappy, they recommended me to another business entirely, just to ensure my satisfaction. Fantastic customer service!

2021: Well, its been two years and Madges check engine soon light popped on, so I had to bring in my 06 BMW X3 into Honest One to get a check up. Madge has been good to me (shes owned up to being the Ultimate Driving Machine!) and I can always trust Honest One to take care of her ...They found her spark plugs werent up to snuff and a super hose was almost severed (original). Even though I dont drive her very much, 68,000 miles, I asked them to do an oil change. Shes brand new again until the next oil change! How about those apples?By the way, they treat you with kindness, very professional, bring a smile to your face, reasonable in their prices... what more could you ask? cindi smith2019: I had Madge, my 06 BMW X3 at the dealership to get the headlamps cleaned and they do look brand new again. Hey, youve got to give credit where credit is due and it was reasonable. Anyway, they gave me an expensive laundry list of things needing maintenance. I appreciated it and always keeping Madge in tiptop shape, I decided to take her and the laundry list to Tracy and his crew at Honest One whove maintained her the last 7 years. Tracy cut the cost down to a fourth and had Madge back in my driveway by 4 that afternoon. One item wasnt necessary and he said dealerships go by guidelines in a manual. I went it for an oil change and was told I had 15% left on my brake pads. I declined the work and took it to another mechanic who checks my pads and said I have about 60% of my pads left and wouldnt change my pads. There were some other repairs that were not needed as well. I understand they are trying to up sell their customers but it is a bit contradicting with their name. Be cautious.

Nothing honest about this place!!! Brought my truck in for a quote to get the rack and hose changed. They quoted me an outrageous price and said I didnt have a choice of just doing the hose and come back for the rack later. When I told them I wasnt going to have them service my truck, they changed their whole story and now I suddenly COULD do the cheaper option to get me by for now. The Manager Joe is a liar and hung up on me multiple times when I called back for clarification and kept blaming it on phone problems ...

Can always depend on these guys for accurate friendly service...
