Horrible company to work with. They have no respect for your time. I was scheduled for pick up and waited 8 hours and they no showed and no called. I called the next day and they gave me another 4 hour window. I asked them how do I know they are going to show today and the lady said will today you are really on the schedule. Stay away from this company. I now see why there ratings are do low.

Apria is a shady company they demanded life saving equipment to be returned immediately so we switched to preferred when they came and picked up their equipment they picked up preferred equipment and wont wont return it they keep saying its scheduled to be returned or they cant find it and every day they switching the return date

Ive had a nightmare experience with another durable medical equiptment provider, so I recently switched to APRIA. WOW! I was sure surprised when Mikel told me she could have a shower bench to my door THAT VERY DAY!This literally took the other company 11 months to accomplish!I am highly impressed and super satisfied with the company and their employee Mikel who took such great care to help me.

We finally got an appointment after 3 cancellations on Aprias part and after they were going to have the needed device delivered and then fedexd....And.... they dont have all the parts necessary, so it will be another week before the device can be used.They received the prescription in August and it has taken until the end of October to get it filled... and that will cost us over $900 in 2021 since this is a rent to own, and all out of pockets have been paid for 2020.And not a single word of apology, just blaming the prescribing Doctor....I wont ever pick them for any home health care if I have any other option.

Literally the first time I have ever given any company one stars.If this wasnt the company tied to my insurance I would never use it.My daughter has been stuck in bed for 6 days because they cant be bothered to add an elevated leg rest. She cant bend her leg.This wheelchair that they sent is just taking up space.I should also add that Im looking at the Drs orders and the Dr ordered the elevated leg rest. They sent the wrong one and refused to fix it.My MIL is actually out now buying a leg rest

Apria has driven me a bit insane lately. Ive had soooo many problems with Aprias billing department. BUYER BEWARE: If you rent a CPAP with them and you change insurances during the rental contract, Apria will start you over from scratch on your rental contract and your previous insurance payments will disappear and not apply to your CPAP balance. That happened to me. We were mislead to think that we could change insurance companies and be fine. Lies!!! They have not updated my insurance info even after Ive contacted them 3 different times and its been 6 months. To end this rental contract madness, I wanted to buy my CPAP machine and Apria has made it incredibly challenging...possibly on purpose. When we first got my husbands CPAP machine at the Peoria location, they refused to sit down with him at his respiratory therapy appointment and instruct him how to use the machine. We were also misinformed about the soap to use to clean the machine. The respiratory therapist insisted that we must only use baby wash soap because if we attempted to use any other antibacterial soap, it would surely destroy the equipment. What a lie! The reality was that this advice from a qualified professional lead to us having bacteria and mold in our machine because the soap we were instructed to use did not properly clean the CPAP machine. Apria: ugh! Buy your supplies from Amazon. Youll have less problems and less cost. I dont even want to start writing about our challenges with Aprias dubious supply schedule and shipping issues. Thats a whole other negative review.

Tell them not to call you for a specific reason. They dont listen. Tell them my address was already verified by the person who placed the order. The person on the phone comes up with multiple outright lies and does not even start to listen till I basically lose my cool with her and threaten reporting to several agencies. Also they never deliver in the window they say they are going to and usually takes multiple calls from my nurse before they even deliver. If you have any choice at all find another place to get your equipment. Have compared their prices with other places too and these guys are overpriced.

Id give this company 0 stars if I could.I have been trying to get my sons wheelchair upgraded from a pediatric wheelchair. I called and asked how to do so and they informed me I needed a new prescription, I asked what information did they need on prescription so that we didnt run into any problems. They told me Height, weight, and any special accommodations needed. So I reached out to my sons pediatrician and they sent the prescription. I then got a call from apria saying they got the prescription and Id be receiving a call for delivery....then days go by and nothing. So I called to find out what was going on to find out that they denied it because they didnt take his insurance hmm..your covering his wheelchair he has now and no insurance changes. so then they reactivated the order. Today I call to check on the order and they need more information from the provider. The head coordinator is completely unprofessional and rude. She told me they dont usually communicate with families because it gets messy. Well if you guys did your jobs, families wouldnt have to get involved. It shouldnt take 2 weeks to get a wheelchair approved. This place hires nasty unprofessional people who dont care to help their patients.

What a nightmare!!! Their customer service is absolutely horrible!!! This is my third attempt to get my auto-refresh of CPAP supplies stopped... They always say they are going to stop the shipments but never do.... Ill NEVER do business with this company nor recommend them again...

As a new customer very difficult to deal with. Had to call to set up a new account. Their phone system would not take my birth date.Registered online. My online profile only showed my phone number and email address. Birth date was incorrect. My first and Last name were missing. No address.Back on the phone system I eventually got through to a human being in customer service . I was informed that my profile will be updated when my order is shipped (huh?).I already had an account back in 2004 but I needed to fax a new prescription and sleep study. The next day I got the script and tried to fax. The Apria fax number would not answer. I called back to tell someone about the fax. The person that answered didnt identify himself. I asked for his name. I told him that the fax didnt answer. Roman asked me if this was about an order. I told him no and repeated the problem. He told me to try again. I thanked him and ended the conversation. Several redials didnt work. I called to see if I could email since there was a web page with an email address. No that was not possible. Two hours later I did get through.

This company’s billing department is so very incompetent!!! I have been dealing with them since April. Over 26 calls they have made with an average of 45 min. The longest call was for 2 hours 15 minutes. Every time I have to repeat everything in detail. They still can’t get it right!!! The last person that called today was Warren. Same story all over. I finally blew a gasket and requested a supervisor. Warren refused to transfer me to a supervisor after requesting one 34 times for 50 minutes. This is unacceptable!!

Horrendous customer service. It is very difficult to get in touch with anyone at the local offices, you get caught up in the automated phone service rather than being able to talk with a live person. Today I tried to return a call to a person that left me a voicemail with their phone extension to call them back, but there was no way to enter the extension through the automated phone service. Previously I spoke with someone from either their call center or national office and explained to them I did not want any supplies sent to me without contacting me first to see what they are sending and how much it would cost, but they sent the supplies without contacting me. When I called them back about the supplies that were sent they told me I would have to return the supplies that I did not want. This is a complete hassle and waste of a customers time.

Wonderful customer service from Susan! She went way above and beyond to help us get the medical supply we needed before the weekend. She can’t control the whole process (much of that is in the hands of the insurance company), but she did everything she could. So relieved to have what we need before the weekend. Thank you, Susan!

If I could give no stars I would. I paid my bill and kept getting collection calls only to be told I shouldnt pay online because the payment doesnt post to the account. I was further advised they would manually post the payment....which never happened. I made a payment online on June 17 and that payment still has not posted. Now they are saying I owe what I paid in June and what is due now!! Whenever you call in, you speak to someone in India who either you cant understand or they dont understand...its so frustrating. I am going to fire this company and move onto another as soon as I get the bill issue squared away. DONT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR SUPPLIES!!!!

I spent three hours on hold when I called just to be told check back tomorrow because the lady was too swamped to look up my info. I called back the next day two hours before they closed and was never able to reach someone before they closed. Why do all CPAP companies have to suck.

Train your technicians to use a GPS. I just had someone knocking at my door at 1030 at night waking up myself and my family and have no idea who you guys are. And when I tell him its 1030pm and ask what hes doing here he asked if I wanted to reschedule. I had to reiterate to him that he had the wrong house!

New insurance and utilized apria for supplies. Stated last week they were sending them out. Called me today stating I needed to sign rental agreement, I am not.renting anyting??? Cannot understand the customer service rep and she just kept repeating info, instead of answering my questions about why I need to sign rental agreement for disposable supplies that my insurance covers. Hopefully Cigna will allow me to change companies!!

I dont know what their headquarters people think but apparently they think only people in big cities need their services. They have closed EVERY SINGLE RURAL OFFICE IN THE COUNTRY!DONT EVER USE APRIA. LET THEM GO OUT OF BUSINESS!

The most incompetent company Ive ever dealt with. Orders are frequently wrong and dealing with their billing people is impossible. They use agents in another country that work from scripts and cant handle anything thats not scripted.

The worst customer service ever was told I would get my chair same day lie they dont even inform the proper information it takes 7-10 to get a wheel chair and a walker. The employee are so incompetent. I recommend you go somewhere else.

Have suffered with COPD for a number of years, and sometimes insurance hoops to jump through made it impossible to keep it under control... however when my Pulmonologist Dr. Ronn ordered a medical device that could vastly improve the quality of my life I was discouraged at the prospect of jumping through hoops again. Imagine my shock when Madison did all the jumping for me.... I will not say how long it took to get approved and get the Astral Ventilator set up in my home, as I would not want to set a precedent that may be hard to follow, but I will say I have rarely been this pleased with any company. I forget the name of the lady who delivered and set up my machine, and I apologise for that, but my overall experience was nothing short of fantastic...

I have never written a review. ..but people need to know about this business and especially their receptionist Susan Ward. Last November I went to see about a new cpap machine as mine had a bearing noise and I had met my insurance deductible. She wanted a new prescription. .ok cool. Went back to my doctor 3 times to get the wording just like she wanted it. Keep in mind that I have gotten machines from here before so I obviously was a cpap patient. Asked her to get it to my insurance by Dec 31st before the new year or Id have to meet the deductible again. Guess what ...didnt happen. Now today I have no choice but to pay for a new mask. She has only one prescription on file not the 3 I gave her and doesnt think it covers a mask...REALLY? Bought it finally from her and it was like pulling teeth. Smart mouthing me the whole time! So I told her she is consistent....always a prick as usual....why the business has this person as their front line employee Ill never know....

I have never written a review online, but this place is so terrible that I am going out of my way to write one. I am a user of CPAP for Sleep Apnea, and Ive been trying to switch to home health services at Apria. The process started around August. The process went something like this:1st phone call (Beg of August): Apria tells me they will work with my previous healthcare provider to get the necessary information to provide me with supplies.2nd phone call (Mid of Aug): I call back Apria, who inform me that they never contacted my healthcare provider and still need to. Nice job Apria.3rd phone call (End of Aug): I call back Apria. Still missing paperwork... They have no idea what they are doing.4th phone call (Beg of Sept): I call back Apria. Paperwork is set, they receive my order and tell me they will deal with my insurance and provide me with the supplies in a week or so.5th phone call (Mid of Sept): I call back Apria. They tell me the EXACT same thing. Do the employees at this company do anything? This time they tell me theyre sure the supplies will arrive.6th phone call (End of Sept):. I call back Apria. Oh, by the way, youre missing an insurance form. Well have to send it to you.Well, its been several months and I still dont have medical supplies. Apria doesnt care about my health. They dont care about anything. They never call me first, EVER They force me to call them to attempt to get things done, but nothing ever gets done anyways.Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company if you care about your health. Use any other company.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.I work at a hospital, and sometimes there is no other choice but to send referrals for equipment (walkers, wheelchair) to Apria. Every time we use this company there are disorganized, unreliable, equipment goes missing or doesnt get delivered at all, the customer service is absolutely disgusting. The representatives argue and interrupt, they give the wrong information and place the caller on holds as long as 2 hours.
