The bakery is amazing & quick! I got a cake decorated for a retirement party and she was amazing!!! If you see her your will have an amazing decorate cake. As long as she is there I will get my cakes from here!!! It was tasty also! Yum 🥳

Came in for my covid shot. They have the J & J one shot. When I was done they gave me a coupon!Its a nice Safeway to have a great selection of items and on my way out I picked a few things up.The pharmacy staff was very sweet and had me wait extra just to make sure I was okay before sending me off on my way again.

The deli service was great, however, the 800 year old fried and baked chicken (we bought 8 pieces of both) could have given us hernias just trying to chew through them. Otherwise, we got a bag of lettuce, salad dressing and cole slaw which is basically all we could eat without breaking teeth. Went here to get beverages from Starbucks inside if this Safeway, I thought all Safeways had Starbucks inside the store. But no Starbucks. Im moving into the area and will be doing my shopping here. So we will see if we have a pleasant experience.

The store was clean an fully stocked. The deli had a great selection of salads and sandwiches which actually tasted good. We used the self check and didnt encounter any staff, but they were present on the floor had we needed them.

I have a few items I can only get at Safeway so I go there every couple of weeks, the store is always clean and well kept…..their employees are always courteous and helpful….I also bank with USBank so it’s sometimes convenient to shop at Safeway and also use the USBank inside the store after or before I shop. I would recommend this store.

The flower shop is the best in the area.Always fresh flowers and nice designs.

Ok selection, pricey if you dont have their customer card. Even more expensive if you dont use their APP coupons. Avoid this supermarket if you dont want to sign up for all their gimmicks.

This is my local store its always clean and organized. They recently remodeled so its taking a sec to familiarize myself with all the changes but it should not be that difficult. The workers here are always polite and definitely make sure everything is up to par. They also have redboxes, gift card buyer and coin star kiosks

I transferred a prescription to this pharmacy for my daughter. I called the day before I needed to pick up to check the status of it and I was told there was an issue, but it was fixed and would be filled ASAP. The day of pick up was not as easy. This is a prescription my daughter needs and they failed to ask for any insurance information before filling. Because it’s a controlled substance we could not have it transferred to Fry’s and had to fill here. My normal $10 prescription was now $55 after goodrx discount. The excuse I was given when I called to ask what happened I got lip service that the tech was brand new and didn’t know what they were doing. AVOID THIS PHARMACY.

Forgot to download my peaches digital coupon . So I was charged 2.99lb instead of .25 per lb. When I went to customer service they refunded me for the peaches instead of offering to give the cheaper price.Not very good customer service.

No wait at the pharmacy & the 1 other item i purchased (frozen fruit) was fully stocked & available (it hasnt been in other stores). I dont go here often as I have grocery stores closer to my house, but its a very nice store.

This is the first time we went to this store. We actually have Safeway store near by at our house. But just happened we were near by and just took a chance to get a better deal.The store wasnt crowded and the lights were bright and shine. Safeway have always good price for fresh berries. Make sure become a member to get the club price.The parking lot space quite spacious. If you come from Thunderbird, the store was easy to see.We didnt really buy anything elses here except for whole food. It is also have a better tax here in Peoria. We are saving a few pennies from choosing stores whose have cheaper tax.

Love this store because it is open at 6am. AND the meat counter IS ALSO OPEN to help us at 6am. The team is friendly and helpful. I love this store as it makes shopping before my work day starts very easy.

I go there for the pharmacy they are helpful it is confusing with Medicare. Check out person was also very nice . And the only comment would be they need some Baskets at the Southside main door theyre only at the North side I dont go in that way.

Store is very clean and well kept. I do like shopping here when I need to. Most of the times I have gone it is not very crowded so Im able to get in and out very quickly. Overall they have a good variety of stuff and a nice selection of wine. Im sure someone needed to know that lol

This Safeway has the best pastries in town!!! I come here once a week to get fresh cinnamon rolls, muffins and croissants that are by farthe tastiest treats a mechanic and his boys could ask for. Im thankful for the awesome service and convenience of this location. Keep it up bakery 👌

I usually go to the Safeway on 35th and Bell, during todays visit at this location the associates were very helpful. The isles were in some need of being stocked, otherwise id definitely recommend a trip here.

I love Safeway. Last few times I have gone. The staff seem unhappy to be there. Even more unhappy when a customer comes to their checkout lane. I felt rushed. Not appreciated. As If I were an annoyance instead of a customer. Not cool Safeway. Not cool

Self checkout has improved overall experience at this location. Safeway Club Member and Just 4 U pricing is great and easy to use at checkout.

Ive been here twice in 7 years and each time i swear Ill never go back. This last time was a vaccine appt....except it wasnt bc I wasnt on his list. But that wasnt the issue: the guy behind the counter was rude, just like the person I encountered my first visit. Smh

Out of advertised sale items. They did offer rain check.

The cashier a different one put two glass items together unbeknownst to me when the family got the groceries out of the car the pecan oil broke, oil every where, had to drive all the way back to the store which is not close to me. The manager didnt even offer a extra discount they didnt have any more pecan oil so I had to get walnut oil. All around bad experience, wasnt impressed how it was handled.

They go out of their way to keep customers coming back. Great place to shop if you have their app & use the U coupons. Thank you to Dalton, Lucy & Melissa for making it so nice.

Always a good experience at the deli here. I go for chicken tenders and potato wedges, the best for a quick dinner. The lady and young man there will always make sure I get them hot and fresh. Also, digital deals are great here, saving you lots of money.

When you have a full card of groceries and you go to the checkout and theres one line open with 5 people with carts full. So you wait in line for 20 minutes or you go do self check out with the full card. I will just walk out next time. I dont get paid to bag my groceries.

These folks are personable & professional. I have not always shopped Safeway because prices are slightly higher but currently enjoying the cleanliness and attention to detail they provide. Worth it for my peace of mind.

I asked the person at the meat counter to please cover his nose with his mask. He replied that it was. It wasnt. He offered to get his manager. We didnt purchase meat. Pharmacy personnel walking thru market with his mask below his chin. One of the checkers wore their mask inappropriately. We went in a longer line.

When we go here, this Safeway always keeps the sale items in stock, where as the Albertsons at 51st and Cactus, although closer to us, and we still do some shopping there, they dont restock the sales items when they are out, maybe the shipments dont come in.

Just wanted to get a few things while I was at the bank. Every cashier had a line but within seconds I had a new cashier ask me to step over to her register. Easy peasy in and out 20 minutes and that includes going to the US bank!

Safeway have the best produce.

I switched from frys to Safeway to pay more for better produce but unfortunately Its not better. There were flies all around the tomatoes which were very soft and I would say they arent sellable anymore but they were still there. The lettuce was the same lettuce from last week and looked very old. Also this place is so expensive and I can get three lunchables for the price of one at Safeway. Please fix your quality so its worth it to pay more. Back to Frys

My favorite store!

The store was not crowded on this visit. I actually saw the disinfecting of the carts. All the circulars were gone so I had to go by memory for the sale items. Again, the eggs on sale were almost out--one left. My favorite, the fried chicken, was almost out. I asked for a half pound of Cole slaw and the clerk could only go by container size. Between the the sale price, the card price, and the Just 4 U price, it is total confusion at checkout. At least 6 out of ten times you end up having to stand in the customer service line for refunds when you get charged the higher price. Everyone was very nice and it appeared that they were training a lot of new diversified staff.

Descent Safeway. The people are nice and helpful. Most things are in-stock. Produce is pretty good and meats are also pretty good.

Their motorized scooters are really slow bring your own

Honestly since living downtown in Phoenix for about 10 years we have always been Frys shoppers it was always the best deals usually beautiful wonderful stores. Now weve moved to Glendale and all of the Frys here are an abject nightmare, so Safeway, even though its a little bit more expensive, is reminiscent of how shopping used to be. This is a good store overall.

This is my local neighborhood Safeway. Its not the largest or fanciest store, but they have everything that I need or want when Im making something new or special. The Safeway app helps me save money and stock up on pantry staples when they are discounted. The staff are friendly and helpful and recognize me as a regular customer which lets me know they appreciate my business. Im happy to have a great grocery store nearby that meets my everyday needs and often exceeds my expectations for product assortment and customer service.

Not too crowded employees are very customer oriented. Great place to shop. Aisles are clean, whole store is clean. Parking is never crowded...

When a difficult customer is in line in front of you wreaking havoc they dont pull them over to customer service to deal with the problem and you are stuck in the line behind them while others are being checked out in other lanes. This has happened to us three times. It is frustrating that the management doesnt take control of those situations for all involved.
