Jessica and Ethan were the best today. I went in sad because I had to return my defective switch to Walmart, losing all my animal crossing data. On top of that Walmart was completely out of Nintendo items so I couldn’t even exchange it. But the staff at this store were so kind and enthusiastic and they set me up with an animal crossing edition switch and let me sell my old regular switch that was still working to make back most of the money. They were both so helpful and their positive attitudes made me not even care about the data I’d lost! I will definitely be returning here for my video game needs from now on.

Love the staff at this location, theyll easily make you feel comfortable and have a great knowledge products in-store and to be released. The girl that works there is great at recognizing returning customers and always delighted to help out and answer questions when she can.

It is a normal game stop store. Ok place to buy used video games. Game stop is well known for giving almost zero in return when you sell them back your used game equipment then turn around and resell it for like three times what they gave you for it. Basically game stop is a used college book store for video games.

Ive visited the store a handful of times over the 4 years... But recently David has been there and really goes above and beyond to help us out! He patiently lets my 6y/o describe things to him and even helped teach him something I had no clue about!!! People make or break the biz, keep him around!!!!

I had a pleasant visit to this location. It was a little out of my way but worth the trip, especially after a poor customer experience with the mall location.What impressed me most was the dedication to helping me even when the store was busy with other guests. I wish I had gotten his name, but this fellow was perfectly friendly and helped us find what we needed. He had great energy and even with a bunch of other people (which at times he was simultaneously tending to), we felt catered to. Will definitely visit again.

The employees are always very friendly and helpful, always assist in trying to find what Im looking for. They also let me know whats coming up and any specials and things like that

They had some good game selections. There was a variety of the types of games there. They even had a bunch of old school games, like for Sega and stuff.

The Associate Joseph is awesome and very knowledgeable of everything in the store etc. Great person to talk to and get help from.

I recently moved to Peoria from northern Illinois, and use this GameStop. Went to the one in the mall and had an ok experience, but discovered Allen Roads location. Ive had nothing but amazing service from the moment I first walked in. Its a friendly atmosphere, where everyone is down to earth and knowledgeable when I comes to games. Overall, this is the spot to go over any other in town. A+ on presentation folks

I moved from out of state and they had no problem taking my pre-order from one store to the other. And went above and beyond. So go check them out and see Corbett. Great location.

The problem with this place is that its obsolete, the employees look worn down and underpaid. The buisness itself is terrible, customer is terrible, I hate go to gamestop.

While visiting family for Thanksgiving, I decided to take my son to Gamestop to get a new 3DS XL game. The staff at the Peoria Gamestop put my local Gamestop to shame with both their knowledge and friendliness. The place was packed with customers, yet the staff still asked if we needed help and even struck up a personal conversation. I came away extremely impressed, and my son was ecstatic that he got his game quick and easy!

Absolutely terrible place to get games now, ever since their old store manager Jason left, the store has gone completely downhill, mangers and employees are rude, mean, and unwilling to help in any way. 1/10 would not recommend ever going into this store.

This place f*****g sucks I bought a ps3 and a tv and GTA 5.the tv HDMI doesnt work and there is no sound.the ps3 wont turn off.Gta 5 wont install it just freezes.I highly recommend mega replay because they dont rip you off like gamestop

The new store manager, [Tyler maybe(?)] went above and beyond for me. All of the pre-owned games I purchased were cleaned on the spot and for the games with light scratches he went into a full physics explanation with me on why they were ok first and then made sure I was ok with everything before I bought them(all of which work just fine). He also looked up Gamestop stores that carried the games his store did not carry and called them to put them on hold for me...basically he just made sure that I was taken care of before I left the store.I have been into the store since my experience with the new manager and I am happy to say that his staff is also amazing. Everyone is very knowledgable and just wants to make sure everyone is taken care of. The store was super busy and despite the line the employees had conversations with me as if I was all alone. The staff at this store really care about their customers. 10 out of 10 times I would recommend this store to my friends and family.I can only hope that when I move all Gamestops operate at this level.SHOP AT THE ALLEN ROAD GAMESTOP!! Usually carry everything and staff seem knowledgeable but super pushy on selling extra this and that ,then they offer you even more deals and rebates but games are always in stock :)
