I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. They are not consistent with their prices. I have been going to them for multiple services and always thought they were a little on the high side but I still gave themmy business due to the fact they were convenient for me. Well this last time they quoted me a price triple what I paid before and I’m asking her what is the reason for the price increase. She says to me that what she charges. I’m like ok I understand that but you charged me this price last time and I’m only adding another inch so why am I paying triple. Then I ask ok well let the paperwork tell us both. She then refused my service and told me to come get my items. She act like I offended her because I asked her to look up the previous prices she has charged me to collaborate my story but she refuse to do so. So with that being said I picked up my items and took them elsewhere AND I MUST SAY IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I MADE BECAUSE NOT ONLY DID I RECEIVE GREAT SERVICE BUT I ALSO WAS CHARGED 1/2 the price she charged me with better service all away around the board.

Absolutely NOT worth. I go in to have my jacket pulled out a bit and just to see if it could be done. Guy didn’t know said he would talk to his person about it and call me back the next day. 3 days later I get message saying she had some questions about it. I drive in today, and she’s like that’ll be $65 and we only take cash. I didn’t even ask to have anything done, I don’t even know what was done! And $65 for that??

I took my sons birthday shirt so they could make a shorter i even took another shirt for reference and they made it a whole different size! for length and width , i didnt say anything i paid about $35 then i gave them another chance . i needed my dress leght shorter , she told me to put the dress on to make the measurements then she said it would be $75 , i changed my mind i would just return it and find a shorter dress . well she charged me $20 , i asked why and she said because of the measurements she did that i was never even told before hand , this place is seriously a ripoff!! if you are thinking of taking your clothes here to be alter be prepared for them to ruin it ! find another alterations place!!!

Got two new pairs of jeans I bought from Sears hemmed there quickly and reasonably priced! One was a pair of joggers that has a elastic bottom hem and they fitted it perfectly while reattaching the elastic hem! Magical. Amy and her husband do a great job and this is for sure my go to for looking my best! Thanks!!

Will never return! First time, horrible service, and her alterations were sloppy. Came in to pickup and was not complete. Had to return later. I even picked up 2 days after SHE suggested the pickup day and time(closed on Sundays). WORK was HORRIBLE. Could see the threading she removed and damaged the material. Hope others have a better experience if you dare to go there.

I never post reviews, but this one is worth it.I brought my bridesmaid dress here to have the bust laid out. I messed up the measurements when I ordered it custom made online and it showed up too tight. I brought it to two other places and with one glance both of them said it wasn’t possible to create more room because of the design. I honestly don’t know why I didn’t stop there... but, the lady here (I wish I knew her name) studied the construction and made it happen and you can’t even tell anything was done with it. She added around 2 more inches of room. I’m very pleased!The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it was not ready by the time I requested it to be (a week and a half after drop-off), but I picked it up the next day instead. I’m glad I planned a few extra days before the wedding just in case.Highly, highly recommend!

I took my suit in to be tailored and they did a fantastic job! I didn’t need to make an appointment, I just walked in and I was out fairly quickly. My alterations were finished by the following week, and it fit perfectly. I would highly recommend

I was given an appointment time to come pick up my dress. I showed up at the correct time and was told it wasnt done. I set another appointment time for 2 days later. I purposely came a half hour later than my time, when I walked it she was just cutting the new hem line on my dress. She said she needed another 30 minutes to complete it. When I returned it was cut but no seam was sewn like originally planned. She attempted to charge me the 45 dollars we agreed upon for the seam and the cutting of the new hem. I pointed out to her the mistake and she changed the charge to 35 dollars after crossing out the charge for 20 dollars for the cutting of the hem. I paid it and left because I didnt want to risk leaving my dress there to have the seam put in. I will not take anything else to this store. It disappoints me because I heard great things about their services. Its hard to stay in business if you set appointments and then dont have the work done. Also I am upset about the charges but didnt argue about her charging me more as my infant was fussy at the time and I needed to get home to feed her.

Ruined my dress in less than a minute. Did not take the time to fully ask questions or to make sure it was how I wanted the dress to be. Had to spend more money and time taking it to another place to have their mistake fixed. Do not recommend taking anything of high value or of importance here as they will more than likely ruin it!!

Did some research on tailors near me that could do a quick and decent job sewing a name tape onto my military uniform. Right Fit did not disappoint! Dropped it off and had it back in hand a few hours later. Cost was very reasonable. Friendly customer service. Highly recommend!

I would trust Holly to alter anything I buy or own. I have had dozens of items altered by her and everything has been outstanding from keeping the original hem on a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans, to altering the fit of a pair of wax-coated Seven for all Mankind jeans, to changing the sleeves on a designer cocktail dress, to fixing my husbands wool overcoat. Reasonable prices and convenient mall hours. She has hemmed things for me that look better than the original hem. I trust her to honestly tell me what will look best, and if she cannot do it to her exacting standards she says so. I have been to many alterations seamstresses over the years and Holly is the best- I wont go anywhere else! Update 2017-Holly sold the business to her relatives and moved out of state. I’ve had a few things altered since and so far so good although I miss Holly’s expert eye and opinion on how an item will look best.

Excellent prices for doing a pair of jeans for $10! brought in 5 of my jeans to get it hemmed. the pair of pants I asked was done nicely for me.

Altered my dress quickly the day before my dance. finished it efficiency! will come here next time!

Took jacket to have sleves shorten went back to get it when I was told to but it wasnt done lady told me to come back next day than called me a hour later and said it was ready but no repair was done.She charged me I payed her just to get item back and will never go there again .The older reviews posted are from other owner and they were very good .DID WHAT they were paid to do.

Would leave 0 if I could. Terrible. I just needed my prom dress altered. Set a specific pick up time and it was not ready. Over a week later.

Ive been to their store in Right Fit Alterations in first visit was pretty good. The price was reasonable and the customer service is informative. I would recommend anyone who has ripped clothing or anything upon fabric related to come to Right Fit Alteration for a fix.

Ill make the trip from Bloomington, IL to Peoria, IL just to get very fast and reliable service. The name says it all Right Fit Alterations. The fit and finish of my alterations are always on point. The owners are very personable and very knowledgeable about the latest trend. The prices are also reasonable. I would highly recommend anyone in the area that needs an alteration to come to Right Fit. Fast and convenient inside NorthWood Mall.

When I went in to have my uniforms altered the service was fast and friendly. I was told my clothes would be ready by May 1st. Seeing as that I work full time and have a child it is a bit hard for me to make it out to the mall. I even told the woman it would be unlikely I make it there right away. As I write this review it is May 4th. I received a call and a text message from Jerry, who claims to be the manager stating that the store is permanently closing down and if I didnt come get my items they were going to donate them. The items there are worth over $300.00. I had to pay for them out of my own pocket and have them altered. I went to this place because I saw good reviews and heard good things from my coworker. She has items there at this very store and didnt receive a single call or text stating that her clothes were being donated, because she had already paid and I had not. I would say to avoid this place because they are not honest business owners. I rarely write reviews and I feel this is very poor way to run a business.UPDATE: so it turns out that they decided to “go under new ownership” without telling any of their customers. We went into the store and I explained to them I felt their practices were extremely deceptive and their customer services was not worth the $130.00 they were asking me to pay. He said that I could pay them or leave my clothes. My husband then proceeded to tell them he was going to call the police and ended up doing so. The “manager” called security. When security showed up the manager told him that the clothes on the rack were left behind and that they had been trying to call these customers for weeks. I in turn explained that not only was I not informed of the change in ownership and that I had to quickly pick up my clothes, I was only called one time at 5pm and told if I didn’t pick up my stuff it was getting donated. After about 20 minutes back and forth they finally agreed to 25% off of my alterations and we left. Needless to say I will NEVER do business again and you shouldn’t either.
