Excellent car buying experience! I was buying from out of state and Blake and Clinton made the process as easy as possible. Blake was responsive while working on this virtually and had the car in great condition when I arrived. Great communication and extremely fair throughout the process. Neal is down to earth and very accommodating. I wasnt sure when I visited the BMW dealership what I wanted since I had owned a Volvo before, but in no time I was convinced that the BMW 3X was the car for me. If only there was a way to add more stars!! From land Rover to BMW, it has been an easy and amazing transition!! First off, every single staff member in that place was so nice. My man Neal hooked me up with a beautiful X1! Neal made sure I had everything I needed, stayed late to answer my questions, and made sure I left happy--which I of course did! The customer service, dedication, and care did not stop there. Neal reached out via text and made sure all was well days after the purchase. Never have I encountered that with a vehicle purchase. At Most, you would get an email that says thank you for your purchase and to reach out. Not with Neal, he will forever be your go to guy! I also appreciated the fact that Neal was previously the service manager. He knew so much about the vehicle and all the specs, he did not need a computer or a piece of paper to look off of, the man knows his stuff!!Shoutout to Skip in financing for making the process easy and painless with no pressure. The service and staff are generally very good. I was, however, quite disappointed that my recent vehicle check did not look at the steering or suspension at all. It checked the tread on my tires, the lights in the car, the lining of the breaks, and the various fluid levels. Thats fine. But for $160, I would have appreciated and expected some report on the condition of the steering and suspension systems.

My 2011 328i convertible roof showed a sensor message of an obstruction, and refused to close the 3-part roof. I took my vehicle to BMW of Peoria to have the problem corrected. This dealership has serviced my 328i (other than the odd oil change which were always done at a BMW dealership) since I purchased it. While the car has given great service over the decade I’ve had it, when it had a problem it was major, always dealing with an electrical problem. What is particularly upsetting is this car has only 62k on it, has only been used to go to Florida & back during winter months. After the mechanics had my car for 7 days trying to track down the electrical problem for the top, I was called and told the problem was in a module & main wiring harness. Cost to repair: $ 7000.00! Blue book value for the car is app. $12000. Obviously my love of the car does not outweigh this ridiculous repair cost. While BMW service department has treated me excellently over the years, and I have zero animosity toward them, I am so over BMW. This vehicle was not engineered with electrical repairs in mind.

Our initial experience when going to test drive the vehicle was not great. Alex was our sales person, he was great in person but was not very professional when communicating via text the next day. Tony was very unprofessional when negotiating the purchase agreement, and neither acted like they cared if they had our business or not. I definitely did not feel like I was being treated as if I was purchasing an $80K vehicle. Clint and John were very friendly when picking up my vehicle and this was the first experience I had during this whole process that felt good. We are in the market for another vehicle and probably would not do business with BMW of Peoria again.

Before coming here I talked to a few of my friends that have BMW’s and who have taken it to this dealership. They have all said the same thing and it is similar to what happened to me, they pulled up a picture of a filter that was about 200 photos up in the mans camera roll. If it was just taken it shoulve been on the bottom. I took it in for them to check any computer issues I have with the car, before they even took it on a test drive but after they started my car they called back and said that we should have it towed? I instantly questioned for the fact that it has been running for the past 6 months I’ve had it only a starting issue. Long story short they told me I had a engine failure and that the combustion takes time to build up plus a misfire on cylinder 6 if that was the case when I turned my car off and right back on the problem shouldn’t be there. I picked my car back up and made it two blocks until the car died, I called them they told me they couldn’t help me because I was off the lot… but I couldn’t move my car… so I called a tow truck and they took it back to BMW. They didn’t hook up my alternator and the power cord was lose, they said that they didn’t do anything to my car but the next day called me back and my car was fine… except randomly my trunk doesn’t work anymore sense I’ve been there and still doesn’t. They said it would be 21 grand to fix my engine, seems like they just wanted someone to trade in for a new car. Here is my advice if you have a 2012 or older don’t bring it here because they will try and do anything they can to make you trade in your car. Even if that’s damage yours in the process. I have 2 other friends with a 98 325i and a 2010 328i and both said that they have new issues after their visit

There were two issues that I was unhappy about with the service on my 2017 X1:1. Initially, I was charged for routine service on my car even though I have an extended warranty that covers this. When I questioned the charge, the rep did some checking and admitted the charge was due to a mistake on his part. I appreciate his acceptance of responsibility. I would think the BMW system would know what coverage I have and the billing would be done appropriately.2. I was charged for a software upgrade that was installed to fix a starting/running problem with the car. Since this was a known possible problem for this vehicle, I would think this would be treated like a recall situation and done at no expense to the auto owner.Thank you for your consideration of these concerns with my resent vehicle service at BMW of Peoria.Mel Clauser

Nobody greeted us at the previous couple we went through, but we were greeted immediately on the BMW lot by a salesman named Ken Reardon. Was looking for a used Ford Edge and found exactly what I was looking for at BMW. When I test drove I brought to their attention an issue with the brakes and they had no problem agreeing to take care of it. They let me take the car home, had someone drive from Peoria to Champaign to bring me a loaner car while they took my car back to fix the brakes. I discovered another minor issue the first day I had the car, brought it to their attention and they fixed that issue too. Even though I didnt buy a BMW product I felt like I was treated the same as if did. Alise (only dealt with her via email), Tony, John and Skip were all very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this business to anyone.

Recently serviced my car here and it was SO OVERPRICED. On top of it- I’ve never seen such arrogant management. Leman doesn’t care whether or not the customer is unhappy. Great way to lose a loyal customer.

His initial greeting made me feel welcomed and he also seemed sincere about finding me the car I wanted. This was my first BMW purchase and I know it will not be my last. Jim Schertz and Clinton Leman are extremely friendly and knowledgable, lending to the easy, low pressure negotiation process. Skip in finance took his time to explain all the numbers in detail, and provided competitive quotes for aftermarket services. Purchase and trade in pricing was equally competitive. Their dealership was recently updated and is beautiful, complete with extensive choices of non-alcoholic beverages in their waiting area!! Kudos to their service dept. as well.
