Not sure if there was a change in management but I’ve had great experiences with them before. However, this most recent time I brought my car in for an oil change was different. After looking at my account I realized the guy charged my card for a different amount than what was on the paperwork which I signed for. When I called the store back, he stated he forgot to include the coupon I had but he would make a note and credit my account. Since I was right at target I decided to just go back to the store so he could credit my debit card, he stated that it would take more than 10 days since he would have to go through the head office but he would give me a loyalty card for a free oil change for the inconvenience. Once I got home I realized that the card he gave me had expired back in March of this year. I definitely won’t be back.

Came here due to proximity and a buddys recommendation. Not sure why they let me make an appointment when they couldnt service my vehicle within the hour. Then after finally completing the oil change and tire rotation, they came at me with a laundry list of issues. However none of them included the snapped emergency brake line- which I was aware of prior to service- just interesting the brake masters missed the hanging cable under my car. Ive had worse service but Ive definitely had better

Stopped in for help with our 250 6.4l Ford Diesel truck, engine light on. Read electronically a code problem (which they do not tend to). We were then able to give it to Ford dealers to attend to. Great staff, thank you SO much!

This is the best shop in town , I recommend them to everyone. The management and service team are very polite and informative. You can trust they are not taking advantage of you. Usually no wait, and very good pricing on services.

Had never been to this business before, having moved here from Maryland. Was met by Shawn who really was profession and all around nice guy. That doesnt always equate to repair quality. However, the car was done on time as per the estimate. You do not realize how sloppy your suspension can get when you drive your car everyday. I had not even gotten out of the parking lot before I realized a big difference. Everything was so tight and secure. What a big difference before and after. Thanks Brake Masters for a job well done.

They just earned a customer for life. An HONEST and great group of professionals.I had them do my front brakes and rotors six months ago and they measured my rear brakes at 8mm/10mm, so I thought it was VERY odd that the dealer told me I was down to 4mm and needed new drums as well (~$1000 quote at Mercedes...). I took it back to Brake Masters knowing at the very least it would be less expensive to have them do the rear brakes if they were needed.They measured the brake pads at 7mm! Apparently the Mercedes dealership is less than honest about what services they recommend.Brake Masters didnt charge for the brake inspection and reminded me that rear brakes tend to wear more slowly than front brakes and to come in when the cars brake sensor goes off.I will gladly return to this business!!

One of the honest places I have been too. My breaks were making awful squeaking noises and I called. They were able to get me seen right away. After a few hours they said exactly what was wrong and that they fixed it. It was excess build up. Then the man said that he cleaned it up and said my breaks were still good for some time and was not going to charge me for anything that I did not need and gave me my keys. You have earned a customer for good. Its hard to find honest mechanics in the city. Thanks for everything!

Fast service and average prices. They always seem to find about a thousand dollars worth of repairs that my car needs every time I go for an oil change. I dont get the repairs but when I come back the next time they dont find the same issues. They find new issues! Are they making it up? I have no idea.But they cant reproduce their initial findings with my vehicle which makes me not trust them for anything more than an oil change. I only go because its close and convenient and fast.

Dave the manager is amazing. Super friendly guy, patience, and wants his customers to be 100% satisfied. I have been going here for a few years now for my vehicle maintenance. I recently had an issue with wheel hub and bearings failing, and this was my 3rd replacement. Dave worked with me on the price and timing and also explained in great detail what we would do to fix the issues that the dealer failed to fix when they repaired the bearings. The coupons online always help and making an appointment online is recommended and easy. They also offer a Military discount if applicable.

Brakes were squeaking and have about 50k miles on them. They confirmed that the brakes still had 1/2 their life left, didnt charge me a dime. They seem very knowledgeable and honest. I will use them again in the future.

Their pricing is fair. They told me the work that needed to be done. Made sense when they told me about a lower arm that needed to be replaced. I drove through 19th ave and cactus and some low life construction worker had a piece of steel fall off their truck ripped up my tire and messed my car up. These people are honest, they didnt know what happened. I had my tire replaced somewhere else. Its up to you to get your means of transportation fixed to make money and go to work. Just saying.

I went into Brake Masters worried about a pretty serious oil leak My oil light wasnt lighting up but oil leaking. Shawn brought my car right in. 15 minutes later he came in and indicated the basket that held the oil filter was loose! So grateful. I wish ALL auto shops were like this. THANKS GUYS!

WASTE OF TIME!! Made an appointment for a 1PM oil change for my jeep. Dropped my jeep off the day of the appointment at 10 AM. I called at 1PM and was told the jeep was in the bay being worked on. I showed up at 2PM and my jeep had yet to even be touched. The explanation I was given was that they prioritized walk in customers over the customers that made appointments. This place will waste your time.

Was looking for a place to do my oil change. A couple couldnt help me right away but Brake Masters were willing to take me right away. The staff was friendly and professional. They gave me great advice and told me about things I didnt realize. They did a great job and will definitely come back.

Price for an oil change came in at $175 less the $15 oil change coupon. I should have priced it out first because I normally pay about $90. Won’t make that mistake again

We took both of our cars there within the last month to get our brakes replaced and then again for my splash guard falling off and dragging on the ground this morning. I have been more than impressed with the manager and all the employees working there. They were informative, friendly, didnt try to offer me something I didnt need, fixed my car for free this morning so I can get safely back on the road. The first interaction I had with Dan was very comfortable and I didn’t feel like I was being swindled into buying anything I didn’t think I needed. I had an idea what was wrong with my vehicle but am far from a mechanic. Dan spent time explaining things clearly and in a way that quickly established trust.Recently, I had the pleasure of dealing with Will and can say that he also spent time figuring out what was wrong with my axle and didn’t pressure me in any way. We took our Toyota Camry in for loss of power. We had replaced the ignition plugs and coils (preventative mx) and plastic connectors (the brittle lock tabs broke off during removal of the first 2) prior to the problem starting. We were almost certain the problem lied w/ the new plastic plugs/connectors b/c of the fault code we were getting on the #1 cylinder (P0351), and b/c when we pulled back on the connector- not disconnecting it- we were able to simulate the loss of power. We tried swapping the #1 and #4 plugs to no avail. At this point, I began second-guessing myself, and believed that we may indeed have a true engine, fuel or sensing problem, and decided to have an expert take a look.We decided on Brake Masters b/c my daughter-in-laws parents have always received excellent service from Daniel and his team. Unfortunately, Daniel wasnt working on this day. The Assistant Manager, David, called us after diagnosis and confirmed that it was the #1 connector. He told us to go get the part, change it, and then if the problem persisted to bring the car back. I found this unusual b/c we took the car to that facility to be repaired. I didnt feel comfortable driving the car (we live pretty far out of town) for fear of causing more damage, so I asked him if he could order the part and replace it for us. After a strange silence he said that he would (I got the idea that he didnt want to do the work, but let me clear here, I stated from the get-go that we were in no hurry to get the car back- it had already been sitting for a month and we were coming up on a holiday- I told him later the next week would be fine). He ordered the part, replaced it and fixed the problem for us- same day- for which I am both grateful and happy.The irritation and 1 Star-Rating is b/c of what I can only assume is greed (although Im not sure where the gain comes in). A $30.00 part cost us $165.00- a 450% mark-up. This is utterly ridiculous. I worked in the aircraft maintenance world as a service administrator- billing customers- and we NEVER charged over a 50% mark-up. When I asked David where he got the part and how much he paid for it, he said a dealer and $125.00. We called Larry H. Miller Toyota in Peoria, and the parts dealer told us that the part (#645-940) would cost us $29.00 plus tax. I can in no way reconcile that amount w/ the $165.00 we were charged, even with paying a same-day delivery charge.We will file a complaint with the home office in Tucson AZ and, if not satisfied w/ the results, will file a Better Business Bureau complaint next. We will NEVER take our car there again, Im sorry to say.

I had a great experience with brake master#224. Dan was very professional and went out of his way to get a part that was not easy to find for a reasonable price and fixed my car in a short time. This place will definitly be my place to go for fixing cars and I recommend them to any one that need to get their car fixed.

I only came for an oil change, but appreciate the service, being open on a Saturday, and if I ever take my car somewhere else, they always try to sell new wipers, or air filter even if new, not here, they didnt try to scare me into any extra service, just the synthetic change as requested at a fair price and moved on.

I did not have an appointment. I came with patience expecting to wait. I was told two hours and after an hour and 15 I asked the person at the desk if I was forgotten (my car had not moved) and I was told no that he was very diligent about that. At an hour and a half other customers who did not have an appointment were leaving who had come after me (who were having similar work). I knew this because I heard as they were checking in. Second time I questioned what was going on with my car because it had not been moved it was taken back. Past two hours now and I wondering how much longer I will be here. Hated to complain because they are working on my car but who know how long I will be sitting. I will not ever come back.

They tightened lug nuts to tight, spent 3 hours getting all 19 loose had to go to the store and have them take it off. I have been changing tires for 60 years and have never had lug nuts that tight. Good thing it wasnt an emergency flat. I had other work done that I question if they even did it, nothing looked new.

Had water pump and timing belt replaced. Did in one day with no problems

Daniel did a break inspection for me, and while he did that he installed the two lightbulbs for my breaks i had just bought that were sitting in my front seat without me asking, and he also topped off my break fluid. I was in town from Las Vegas and my brakes were making a noise after I just had the fixed at a Brake Master store in Las Vegas. When my brakes were done at a Brake Master in Las Vegas it turned out the tech had done our brake job incorrectly. The manager at this store showed me the rotor damage and replaced everything under Brake Master warranty. I remember buying the warranty thinking it was a waste of money but I was wrong. I’m very impressed with this store, it’s techs and management and even more impressed they stand by their work even if they technically didn’t cause the issue. Went to Peoria location on Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant Parkway and the service was amazing. We had taken the vehicle to another mechanic and they said nothing really wrong but the mechanics here drove it until it happened to them and fixed it.

Took my wifes car in for alignment on a Friday preparing for our vacation on tuesday. I drove the car on Saturday noticed it still pulling to the right so I called and they said bring it back in. Brought it back in Monday they blamed it on brand new tires and rotated them after making her wait to fix what shouldve been done the first time. Got in the car tonight to fill it up with gas and low and behold the car is still pulling to the right. Will not be using them anymore. Very disappointed

I have no problem with the oil change service they provide. However, every time my wife takes her car there they give a list of things that need to be fixed. I have to assume, since this is recurring, that they see a women go into their shop and they try a scare tactic disguised as a care tactic to get her to change parts that are brand new. It is extremely dishonest and bad business.

These guys are honest and fair. My Jeep with 67,000 miles on it still has 3/4 if it’s front pads left, but my brake fluid was diluted due to the desert heat and the plastic resovoir. Out the door with s tire rotation for $53. I will use them again!

Went to Brake Masters #224 this morning for a oil change and tire rotation. When told the car was done and ready I asked the person in charge if the tires where rotate he said yes and everything was done. Tires where not rotated. Will never go to that place again
