I went through the drive-thru with no problem... Until I pulled up at the window. The cashier was nice, but gave the wrong change. The bald barista in the back wouldnt stop glaring at me through the window, even though he wasnt the one serving me. I have no idea what his problem was. Was 2 coffees too much to handle?

MISSED OPPORTUNITY!!!!Last night, I had a VERY long drive to upstate New York. I used to work in the Paramus area and frequently stopped at this particular Starbucks before going into work at night for the 11pm shift. It’s been a couple of years since being around and I was not aware of the business hours change and that the Resturant closed so early. I had planned stopping at this Starbucks as part of my trip because it was more convenient than the “closer” one at the start of my trip almost an hour earlier into my drive.When I pulled into the lot at 9:25pm, it appeared as though the store might have been closed but the lights where still on and there was an employee inside at the counter. As I stepped out of my vehicle, he immediately turned off the lights, instead of letting me approach the possibly locked door and simply saying the store is closed. I then got back into my car tired and disappointed then pulled away.What that employee did not realize is that I had worked the over night shift and only had a 2 hour nap. What he also did not realize is that I had a $50 bill in my pocket that I was willing to give him for a cold brew coffee with a splash of milk and a couple of sugar packets (that required no clean up) so I wouldn’t have to pull over and sleep on the road with my children and dog in the car at night (which I ended up doing). He could have charged the order the next day when the store was open and kept the tip ;) OR just taken his “no, we are closed.”As former tea shoppe owner I understand not wanting to deal with customers at the close of the day or after hours, ESPECIALLY after clean up and closing up the register!!!!One thing to take away is a little inconvenience of speaking with someone could go a long way.

One of my favorite Starbucks locations in northern jersey. These guys work so hard. Same team has been here for quite a few years. Always helpful and professional.

Don’t know why this location is so highly reviewed. I was waiting 10 minutes for a simple black coffee that they seemed to have forgotten to fulfil. Won’t be returning here.

Only problem I had was finding the place. Poor location.

Coffee is great, staff and service is great but why do they charge $4 for the same exact cup of coffee that can be purchased for $3.68 couple of miles down the road from this location?

Very typical Starbucks experience except, for some reason, its not as popular with the laptop table hogs so seating is generally available.Service is fairly quick.

My favorite is Flat White... always...

Everyone knows Starbucks not much to say bad. When they are getting slammed with business you just have to understand and be patient. Pre-orders are excellent way save time

I ordered 2 extra double shots in each drink I ordered. She blended the drinks together about 7 times before she got it right- thats okay. Im mostly upset about the left over espresso in the blender that I paid for. Said she couldnt give me the rest. I thought they could measure drinks right... this starbucks does not do that.

I do not like Starbucks coffee, it tastes burnt and bitter. I do not understand why Starbucks cant make good coffee, in my country wherever you go its easy to get good coffees. Starbucks is only good for the setting and the ambiance. That is why I still give it 2 stars instead of none.

At most locations, if you order coffee with almond milk they put the almond milk on the bar and let you add how much you want, but not here. The barista put a very small amount so that my coffee was basically black. I don’t want to have to ask for more almond milk when they could have just let me add the amount I wanted. Starbucks should make it a policy that they have to let you add the amount of the plant-based milks that you want, especially since you have to pay extra for it.

The staff are very friendly and place clean. One time I saw they had premade water cups - Im assuming people could just take. However, it can get really busy here in the morning so it might take you a while to get your order. Sometimes the line can get really long. If youre in a rush or want your order quicker, definitely recommend ordering through the app.

Worse service ever to get coffee there took 30 min and they got my order wrong. The girl Celine with the horrible I don’t care attitude took my order wrong than proceeded to tell me after I questioned her that and I quote “that was not what you ordered as if I didn’t know what I wanted to order. Will never be back there. The talking and making customers wait just because they were kidding around was rude and not professional. I worked in retail and customer service is priority I should not have had to wait a second time so long to get my drink which was wrong also the second time around they did my cinnamon dolce and it came with no coffee. Worse experience ever

Located in a very busy strip mall which is good as well bad too.What I liked about the location is employees are very well trained to take care of the heavy customers volume.They are very fast.I dont know if it is possible for them to get some of the front parking allotted only for their customers.

I have changed my review from 3 stars to 5 stars, because of the morning staff. I never have any issues with my coffee. The ladies in the morning are just awesome, and love helping the customers. Star Bucks should have all their employees follow their example.

We were only in town for a week for work, and Taylor, the fabulous barista remembered our drink orders by Saturday. So impressed by this place. The cleanliness, customer service and quickness

You pretty much know what you are going to get with Starbucks. I drink it often, but I rarely sit down to enjoy my drink. I did just that on this visit. This Starbucks is not as cozy as some and there are no soft chairs and there is no fireplace, but the staff is very friendly and the location is good. I also noticed that they had an excellent music selection. The playlist seemed to play songs that I would never have chosen myself, but were exactly what I wanted to hear. It was not too busy so it was easy to spend time chatting and relaxing as we drank our coffee and hot chocolate.

I get my coffee at Starbucks everyday & I go to different locations depending on where I am that day. I frequent this particular Starbucks about once or twice a month. In general I love Starbucks: the employees are friendly & the coffee and offerings are consistently good. However the location on Route 17 North in Paramus, NJ (next to the container store) is absolutely awful. In the past year and a half, new employees were hired. The old employees were great but almost all the new workers have attitudes. And not pleasant attitudes. Two months ago I saw them belittling an older women who didn’t speak English well and spoke with an accent. Last month my drink wasn’t made right so when I went back to the register to tell the women behind the counter, instead of saying something like “I’ll be with you in a minute”, she said I can’t help you, I have a line of customers and besides we didn’t make your drink wrong. So I reminded her that I too was one of the customers that was waiting on line to order my drink... so we finally got it squared away and I just thought maybe she’s having a bad day and I forgot about it. Today I got an ice coffee and was going through my emails, etc. I had to go to the bathroom but the bathroom is ALWAYS filthy: pee on the toilet seat, sticky floor, no toilet paper so I went next door to the Container Store because their bathroom is always spotless. Anyway, I came back to Starbucks and then I went to get a Refill and the woman behind the counter asks me if I was at the cafe. I was confused but I said yes I just got my drink about 45 minutes ago - there’s a sticker on my cup but I can pull up the transaction on my phone. And then I told her that I just stepped out for a couple of minutes to use the bathroom in The Container store. She then proceeded to say that’s a violation of our policy and I’m not going to give you a refill. I said I just left to use the bathroom. She repeated, that’s the policy and I’m not going to give it to you. And then she added that she just had the bathroom cleaned. I left the store and I will never be going back. There are 3 other Starbucks in Paramus that I can go to. I don’t need to go to this one and deal with employees with bad attitudes and dirty bathrooms. The employees seem to be looking for where they can be rude to customers and to point out that they’re right and the customer is wrong. Very strange vibes. Anyway, there are other Starbucks in the area. The new store in Paramus Town Square is super clean with friendly employees. I’ll probably start going to that one when I’m in the Paramus area. I suggest you do the same.

It has a decent amount of parking in the front and additional parking is available in the back. The place is relatively small, and has a few tables to sit down. Most of the time people are in and out since it is right of the highway.

A very small Starbucks considering how many people are visiting at one time. Overcrowded and a 15 minute wait just to order them another 10 while my drink was being made. Despite this very clean facility and extremely clean restrooms.

The ONE and Only barista was doing a great job. She was left alone and juggling 5 customers making speciality drinks and food orders. WHY was she alone at 9pm in the store on RT 17 north in Paramus NJ at this time? On one of the two major highways. There were 6 or more customers sitting at tables. And another one that was waiting for his order when I entered. Your employeee deserves to be recognized for a job WELL DONE. She was composed and took care of us as quickly as possible. All of us standing there waited patiently understanding her difficult position.Remember her, she is the customer service representative that you would hope that all your employees should be.

Started working near by I was happy to find this Starbucks then what happened I placed my order waited in line just like everybody I was waiting for my hot chocolate not a difficult order one guy in back got his coffee I told the guy I was her before him. His response its coming then as he is talking to another guys who he know well because they kept talking as he made his drink and made me wait again. I was so upset I left with out my chocolate that I paid. The first time I told him he should of made my coffee why tell me its on it way and make a drink for another customer I paid too. I will never go back again. Disappointed!! I just left the place never to return. Lack of training.

If you like Starbucks you will like this one. Shared parking lot but usually you can find a close spot.

If this place werent on the right side of the highway for my commute I wouldnt come here. The staff is slow at the register, have poor communication and have forgotten to put my breakfast sandwich/ pastries in more than once, and NEVER ask you your name, so it is hard to distinguish your drink from someone elses. It shouldnt take 15 minutes to get drip coffee and a pastry.

I have come twice because i work in Macy so perfect location by work .but twice i have had bad experience no communication staff not friendly and very slow.this morning i observed girl have a full blown comversation and im standing waiting then she proceeds to do mines not cool i have to get to work to.
