Went in for annual eye checkup and got billed for specialist visit. On further enquiry I was told that the advise Doctor gave me fell under specialist visit. I asked if the doctor should have spoken to me and I was told by the receptionist that Doctor has confirmed that my consent was taken. Although I insisted that I was informed about converting my annual visit to specialist visit, the receptionist insisted that it is not possible and when I asked to speak to the doctor, I was told that is also not possible. After several follow ups the specialist visit charge was dropped but the experience remains sour. Not recommended.

I would recommend Dr.strong and his staff to everyone, who are in need of eye exam or glasses.

This was my first visit to Blue Valley Vision and it was so nice! Everybody was super friendly, I got in right on time and the entire staff was very attentive and efficient. Dr. Fose was super personable and I felt very comfortable with my visit overall!

I love Bkue Valley vision! They always recognize me. They are very organized and do a good job of telling you what everything will cost before beginning any services or orders.

This place is amazing. The front staff is so sweet. They remember me every time I come in and really make me feel at home. The doctors always make great recommendations and always get my prescription just right. Always clean and accommodating. They adjust my glasses as many times as I need. Plus last time I was there, I crushed my brand new glasses within hours of leaving. They helped me replace them so quickly! I actually moved to Lawrence and made the trip back just because I love the staff.

The process was easy as they have online signup for new paperwork; took me less than 5 minutes. Dr Strong’s assistant was thorough as was the doctor when he came in.Sarah at the front desk was helpful and easy to work with.A very pleasant experience for something I only have to do once a year.

Highly recommend! Very nice and accommodating staff. The doctor did an excellent job at explaining my vision to me and even told me some things I’ve never seen before. They also performed something similar to an X-ray for your eye (sorry for forgetting the terminology) on me and it was rather fascinating. Not to mention - my favorite pair of glasses yet!

Blue Valley Vision is one of the friendliest office’s that I have ever experienced. The doctors are kind, take their time, and are genuinely interested in getting to know their patients. I really liked Dr. Strong. After being in the area 17 years and going to different optometrists I had yet to find one I felt I liked enough to actually stick with and send other people to. Immediately after I had my appointment I told my wife and several friends about Dr. Strong. My appointment was quick and I came out seeing better than I have in quite a while. I was surprised by the speed of the exam. There wasnt a ton of messing about with which is better #1 or #2. #3 or #4. Now this one or this... Just got to it and dialed me in. Im seeing sharper and better than before. And heres a great bonus, Dr. Strong is one of the nicest people you could want to meet. Honestly I cannot recommend Blue Valley Vison highly enough. If you use them you will be pleasantly surprised.

All office employees were AWESOME! VERY thorough with the exam and the doctor explained each step she was doing, why certain tests were done because Im diabetic and what I needed to do as a diabetic to continue to have good eye health.

After going to a PCP for what was thought to be pink eye but lasted longer than normal, I visited Dr. Strong and Dr. Fose who were able to figure it exactly what was going on and what I needed. After that I decided to continue my care with these kind and caring doctors! I am constantly referring friends to them, because of their genuine hospitality and care. You are well taken care of from the moment you walk in, their entire staff is top notch!
