My glasses broke while traveling out of town. Located Invision Eyewear at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, KS and walked right in to the store. Immediately a team member named Becky asked how she could assist me and proceeded to restring my lens. I purchased my Signature glasses in Virginia but Invision Eyewear serviced me without hesitation and with great care. My glasses were fixed and cleaned and I walked out incredibly pleased with Becky and the store. Thank you Becky and Invision Eyewear for your hospitality. I had the best experience at InVision eyewear at Oak Park Mall I have ever had after having glasses most of my life! I was referred there from my husband who also had a great experience! The customer service and care they provide is phenomenal!! Donna was working when I came in and immediately started helping me find glasses that fit my small face! After trying several pairs and not loving any of them, Heather (who was also helping) offered me the frames right off her face (after disinfecting them)! The glasses are awesome and I love them! I Just picked them up Friday and Claudia sized them and made sure they fit perfectly, even loosening them a few times so I don’t get migraines from them being too tight! Best of all, they were able to make then affordable for me compared to what I usually pay at the eye doctor!! Thanks to Donna, Heather, and Claudia!

I stopped shopping elsewhere for glasses, because I cannot find anyone who has the selection, inventory, and customer service that surpasses Invision Eyewear. Ive been buying glasses from them for 7 years. Even tho I moved 20 miles away I still come back because theyre so good. Donna is an amazing professional who will help you find specs to suit your needs and budget. Shes patient, responsive, and really understands her customers. In fact, all their staff is highly competent and professional.

Great in store service. Lots to choose from. Fast service, however mine were to take 3-5 days but said they would call me; well, no call so I followed up and low and behold they were ready. They didnt know why they hadnt called me. Thats why I gave 4 stars vs 5 stars, speedy service and pricey but there system broke down somewhere???

A need for a new eye exam made me remember my experience with this place. A few months ago I got glasses here that apparently were difficult to do with high index lenses and the frames I really wanted, according to the first place I went to. Invision handled my request perfectly, and Claudia and everyone else there that spoke to me are incredibly kind. I’m looking forward to seeing them again soon!

Was working with Sandy and she took the time to make sure the glasses it correctly. Also when I was picking out my glasses the person helping me made sure I got the right style look and fit of the frame. This was the first time I got the tri vision glassses. They made sure I was at ease with my purchase even had a great option if I did not like the glasses I could exchange or do something different. I have worked in customer service for 25 plus years and I can be a hard customer to please but they did it. Also the first person I was working with she was very nice and helpful too. The entire team here is amazing! They take the time to find the right style for you and give you options. The styles vary from basic to high end name brands with hundreds of different frames and lens options.. no I dont work here I just come every year for new glasses. I typically work with Heather she is so awesome and charismatic. One time I showed her a picture of some Versace glasses I saw at Lens Crafters in Omaha(lens crafters in Overland Park would not order for me) she looked them up and boom, ORDERED!Longer story short, come here because you will leave with dope glasses and perfect service!

My wife and I love Invision Eyewear.Invision Eyewear did a absolutely wonderful job on her glasses. The sales person/fitter (Heather) was fantastic, absolutely the best I’ve ever had in my 40+ years of getting glasses.All the employees were extremely knowledgeable on all their products and current eyewear trends, styles, and technology.My wife and I are very picky and they did an excellent job needing all of our requirements. We just left Lenscrafters after eye exams and noticed this store across the hall. I have been visiting the oak park mall since high school and have never visited or even heard of them.The saleswoman needs much more training unfortunately. She greeted us professionally and asked if we had been there before. No; first timers. Then she told us that they had been in business at the mall for a long time. Family business yet they went with a corporate sounding name. That was odd. Nothing about sales, or about their business or what they offered. Just that they were there for awhile. She didnt mention any sales or specials that would encourage us to do business there. Fine, I thought. We will look around at their big selection.She then asked if we would be using insurance and I told her no; cash. We were ready to buy.They have a nice selection of frames and the store is clean... Ill give them credit for that. But most of them are catered to females I quickly noticed.The cool stuff guys like was in a different part of the store near the front. Oakley, Ray Ban etc. My fiance and I both were looking for a pair. I needed RX sunglasses. I went over there and started looking in the glass cases when I felt the presence of the salesperson about 5 feet behind me. She was standing there quietly and staring at me staring at the glasses. I was immediately uncomfortable because of how quiet she was. Every pair I saw I felt she would judge me for touching, so I didnt. I almost felt she was judging me for what I was even looking at. So I tried to make conversation...these are the new Patrick Mahomes collection.. ...silence. You have a nice selection of Oakleys...silence. Then my fiance came over and we started looking together. During this time she watched us like a hawk. She wasnt talking or suggesting anything... just making us uncomfortable by listening to our conversation.What do you expect people to ask you about when they have barely had a chance to look at your goods?? I wanted to keep looking at the other side of the cases but realized that they were 90% catered to females. Add that to the fact that we didnt want to get chaperoned anymore by the inexperienced (older) saleswoman. We decided to bounce to relieve everyone of the tension. We had a completely opposite experience at sunglass hut afterwards.Why??Because they took the time to give us time... get it? They let us look by making themselves available instead of hovering and watching. They told us to feel free to try on any pair. My name is ... please let me know what questions you have and if I can assist you. Then she told me about special features of lenses if different brands. Thats helpful and reassuring.Thats how its done in retail.Im writing this review as a favor to management to adjust the way you let people browse. A little professional sales training would go a long way here too because they do have a nice store and offer much more than lenscrafters across the hall. Also, the store was not busy when we arrived. I could understand if she was telling us unique features of the glasses I was looking at or something of value. Maybe train them on unique features... you know, product knowledge. Those are the new Prizm.. that technology does this... or; those are titanium, they are strong, yet lightweight. Would you like me to price anything out for you? Etc etc. If you have nothing to say at all you can at least compliment the customer on something to make them feel comfortable etc.Dont assume people coming into your store without vision insurance wont pay your high prices... we will gladly. But only if were treated with common courtesy and good salesmanship. Take a break a few hours before closing and/or get your people mentally ready for customers coming in during the late evening hours.These are the customers that are taking time out of their busy evenings to purchase things they need because they are working all day otherwise. Its a prime time for sales so make sure your salespeople are up to the challenge.

My experience at Invision Eyewear was outstanding in every aspect. All personnel were extremely knowledgeable. Each visit was one-on-one and they made you feel as if you were the only person in the store! They carry a great inventory of eyewear. Their personal touch and attention to detail is unmatched!

Went in to have the lenses removed from a set of glasses to a frame. When she brought them out for me to try on, everything was fuzzy. Ignored it and went on my way. Looked up at the lenses in the light and noticed numerous circular scratches that were not there when I brought them in. Looked like a rough surface was rubbed on the lenses. Went back to the store and kindly confronted them about and it was all denials. Cant help but think they purposely ruined my old lenses so I would buy some from them. DO NOT take your glasses here for repairs or do business with these people. Not honest.

Love this place. They always help me pick out the best frames for my face (I’m super picky) and most times they have the lenses in the new frames and ready to go in 30 minutes!

The quality of workmanship on my glasses was the best. However, the customer care was less than desirable. I came in to pick up my glasses and there was a person working at a computer who said that I should take a seat. There were no other customers in the store. After waiting nearly 15 minutes, another person, (Not the person working at the computer behind the counter, who never alerted anyone there was a customer waiting) appeared to assist. It’s unfortunate there’s so little respect for the customer. Invision eyewear has lost sight of who pays their rent. They have lost my business.

Staff was awesome. The girl who helped me went above and beyond to ensure a good fit and style. She was patient with me as I tried on a few different pairs. Going from no glasses to glasses full time was a big change. She took time to make sure the frames fit so I didnt waste money. Will definitely be coming back.

Very unorganized. The original girl helping me was VERY persistent on selling me contacts.. I don’t wear contacts but kept telling me it was cheaper. How is it cheaper to buy something I won’t ever use? Very unprofessional. Not to mention I was Promised my glasses would be ready on a Monday, called Monday morning to confirm and they told me they would be ready until Tuesday morning. Called Tuesday morning and told me they wouldn’t be ready until Wednesday and someone would call me. Waited all day Wednesday for that phone call and never received it. I finally called 1 hour before they closed and said they were ready since 1. When I arrived at the store the lady helping me took 20 minutes to look for my glasses.

My experience 3 years ago was a 5 star rating. This year my experience started out great with my salesperson, but ran into a conflict in understanding changing quotes on purchasing 2 pairs of eye wear; a pair of sunglasses and a pair regular glasses. Decided not to purchase due to several conflicting changes in quotes. Felt deceived, very disappointed.

The staff at invision eyewear is so incredibly nice. Very very patient with us when we tried on different frames, provided actual useful feedback when asked, and so friendly and sweet. Even though they have to clean every single pair of frame after try on due to Covid they still made you feel like that’s no trouble at all and just truly made us feel so welcome and so comfortable. Regrettably I cannot rate my experience with Invision Eyewear as a 5 star experience. My initial sales experience was positive. A few days after receiving my igreen glasses that included a magnetic sunglass clip, I noticed I had received an incorrect color for the sunglass clip. You see I had previously ordered the exact same glasses in a different color. The colors are so similar that the error was not immediately apparent. When I called I spoke with Claudia who repeatedly insisted that I was mistaken. I’m not senile-yet. This phone call was made while I held both ((Navy Blue) sunglass clips in my hand. Things went downhill from that point on.I was made to feel like I was trying to “pull”-something-a bait and switch?!? for a $50 clip on $600+ glasses!?! There’s more, but this review is already too long. Though in the end, the mistake was corrected, I doubt I’ll be back and I won’t refer friends or family. Mistakes happen, but I don’t appreciate the insinuations.

I got my Versace prescription lenses done there about two months ago and was waiting for any problems but they did an amazing work highly recommended and will continue to make business with them.

Alex went right to work and created a practice cut first with my approval before actually cutting the final lenses for my frameless temples. Fantastic place. I have been wearing glasses all my life, so Im pretty well versed when it comes to knowing if a eyewear company is good or bad. I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service. Would give 10 stars if I could. Marilyn is phenomenal! I was unaware of this location until today due to extenuating circumstances. My eye clinic is closed today and I had a contact issue. After multiple phone calls to various places, nobody was willing to help and Marilyn said come on in and I’ll get you taken care of. Without hesitation, she did. Marilyn knew I was not a customer there and still decided to go above and beyond for me. Did not know who I was, just wanted to help. I cannot tell you how appreciative I am. Being in management at a corporation where customer service is everything, this truly hits home for me. I am thrilled to have found this spot and thank you for everything!

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. I worked with Julie and she was awesome. Family owned and operated business with killer prices. Julie found a way to get me more off my frames and gave me 15% off both pairs of glasses I bought. I will definitely be referring everyone I know here.

Outstanding customer service. I walked in for my first pair of glasses, and they spent the time helping me pick the exact pair that fit my face. (Even ordered in a pair that wasnt in store when I asked, with no guarantee that they would be the ones I wanted.) They also have approximately 3 times the selection of frames than I have seen at most other places. Glad to keep my money with a local owned business.

I have consistently had great experiences and will continue to return for all my optical needs.

I got a call that my new lenses were ready so I went to go get them. They werent actually ready. I had to come back and was told it would only be 20 minutes when I returned. Then when I came back, I was told it would be a half hour to 45 minutes. So I came back and half an hour and then I was told that it would be another half hour. So I guess well see how long it actually is after this next half hour.

First, they said our favorite employee retired (years and years ago when we asked where she went), but we found her recently at visionworks last week (because Invision lies). We were filled in by the former employee on why we had so much trouble with them running our insurance at Invision. Turns out they do a lot of sneaky thing when they run insurance (which we experienced first hand). One lady that currently works at Invision even said that just because insurance says they cover a certain amount, does not mean thats what they will really cover.....ummm. *Plays twilight zone music.* This place has really gone downhill since the original owner left. His son runs it now, and does a horrible job. He fired his best employee that had been there for well over a decade and does shady things with insurance claims. I started coming here 10 years ago, but now I will stick with visionworks. They dont take my insurance, but the employee that has taken such good care of us for so long, works there and shes worth following because she really is the best. I strongly recommend Visionworks by JCPENNEY instead. Please, do yourself a favor and dont waist your time at Invision.

I was looking for a particular frame, on that verge of being discontinued, thee owner and staff had the frame I was looking for and compensated my needs. Thanks to every one of you a very fine establishment and friendly atmosphere.

Dont use or buy from these guys **BAD and Dishonest business practice**They will work with you up to the point that they take your money. Then after the sale in done, they careless and dont follow through.So I came to these guys to buy my first ever glasses. From the get go, I told them that I never wore glasses, that I been wearing contacts for over 16 years, that I want to get away from contacts and wasnt comfortable with Lasik surgery. I was really nervous to buy glasses cause I had no idea if they would work or if I could wear them cause. The associate that was helping reassured me to not worry that if they dont work to just bring them back.I picked out a nice frame and went with the best lenses that they had to offer. Walked out spending about over $700.Fast forward to when I got my glasses, from the start, there was a horrible bubble/fishbowl effect to the point that after about 5 minutes of wearing them I would start to get a headache. So I brought them back and explained to them the severity of the situation. They did adjustments again, told me to try that,I tried it for a few days but still no change, so I came in again, this time they said that its all they can do and if I have an issue go see my eye doctor. So I did.My doctor said the prescription checks out ,that I needed to go back to the people I bought them from and either have them make it right or return them.So I went back to Invision, this time they were basically told me rudely that I just need to put them on and wear them no stop, to give it 2-3 weeks and then my eyes and brain will get used to it.To make the long painful story short, I drive to work everyday from Overland Park to N. Kansas City (30min - 1 hour driver each way), I work 10-13 hours a day 5 days a week on the computer, on 4 huge monitors to be exact.A. I cant drive with these glasses - I almost got into an accident several times because of the effect.B. Headache gets so intense while wearing these glasses at work, that I literary cant concentrate. My performance and sales plummeted.I went to see my doctor again and basically he told me that maybe my eyes just cant do glasses and he recommended me to think about doing the Lasik.So I came to Invision, and I nicely and calmly explained the entire situation, I told them I really wanted this to work cause I was very uncomfortable with Lasik, but I just cant to glasses and I am really trying to get away from contacts, but it might have to be Lasik after all. To please refund me my money cause I dont need something I cant use. They told me that they cant do anything , completely ignored my stress and everything that I said that I been through, took my # and said the owner will call you. Its been more then 2 weeks. No call. I called a few times and got no answer and today they finally picked up and said the owner will call you

I had a non helpful sales rep that was more focused watching me making sure I dont steal anything. She stood so close that a could feel her breathing on me and I had to ask repeatly to open frames so I could try them on. She asked me only one question initially and that was are you looking for something in particular. My response was yes Im looking for colored bold frames and Prada is my favorite and from that point she never asked anymore questions and didnt want to assist me but instead she watched me like a hawk. I felt so uncomfortable after 30mins I left and wasnt planning on coming back every because the same thing happened to me the year prior from the same sales rep. I spend over $1200 out of pocket each year for my glasses at this business and unfortunately I get profiled every time I walk into that place. So all and all I will never come back to this place.

I went in to get new sunglasses and ran into issues from the beginning. I got a call and they said they had my glasses in. I was excited because they had the Oakley frames I loved and a new design of the same frame. I got the call and I go in after work right away. Opened the box and disappointment. They werent the frame color and had different lens from what I ordered. This is on pair number one. When she looked it up again she then told be they were discontinued. Why wasnt this relayed to me the first time prior to ordering?. Okay, things happen. I understand. I go and choose another pair. She sends the order out. Weeks goes by and no status on my second pair. I was passed from one associate to another and no one could give me an answer as to why havent they received my glasses yet. 3 weeks after order my replacement on my first pair. They came in test fitted them. I like it, but they told me Oakley dont give out hardcases any more?. I was confused how does this big brand name company not give out hardcase to protect their high end sunglasses to the customers that pays a hefty price for on. I believe then. So back to my second pair its now months from the date of order. I finally get a call after 7 weeks and open the car I see that there are cosmetic blemishes and seems like the lens were popped in and out. I inspected them close and pointed it out and the lens and frames were then damaged by the technician in the back. They said they will order new frames. Okay, thank you I really appreciate that. Weeks goes by and no calls from invision. I call and each associate promised that they would call back. I waited about a week before I would call again. After 9 weeks in they tell me Oakley discontinued the pair that Ive been waiting for. By this time I just wanted the process to be done and over with. I go on Oakley website and look around and picked something out. . Invision put in the replacement order for pair number two. Two weeks goes by and I get a call they are in and we will ship them to you and provide a tracking number. Never got a call for the shipment. Never got a single sorry through this whole process. I finically got my replacement and when I opened the box it had the wrong lens on it. The big thing was it came in a hardcase.?. Spending over 1000 for two Oakley sunglasses to only get what you dont want is an aweful feeling and to get lied to about a hardcase that comes from Oakley and to not receive it is even worst. I hope they can learn to better their communication skills and better service to their customers. I am very disappointed. After 11 weeks from the original order date.
