This is probably the worst location I’ve ever been to in the world. I’d give this zero stars if I could. The hot light is never on and the donuts are always cold. The last dozen I purchased looked weird. I’ll never visit this location again.

I tried the cinnamon rolls and cinnamon toast crunch donut they were just okay I wasn’t impressed. The cinnamon roll taste just like a reg glazed with a slight taste of cinnamon and the cinnamon toast crunch donuts looked unappetizing and the cereal was very stale so there wasn’t any crunch at all. On a better note the frozen caramel latte was delicious.

Delicious as always. Was disappointed that they wouldnt make me a fresh dozen of dones. Got specialty donuts as well, custard filled, blueberry cake, and strawberry iced. All very tasty. Wish the independence location was still open!

I came at 8:45am today. Had to wait 10 minutes just to get to the order spot in the drive thru. I only came for 3 doughnuts. Strawberry iced with sprinkles. Strawberry iced with no sprinkles and glazed sour cream. When I ordered I found out that they are out of all 3 of those doughnuts. I have no clue how many other doughnuts they were out of, but whats the point of being out of several doughnuts for breakfast.

I came in before 8pm & was told lobby is closed & they only had 2 flavors of donuts. How do you only have 2 donuts with FOUR hours left till closing. Very disappointing.

We didn’t get a free hot doughnut. The entertainment was great though….. never thought I’d see the day a parent let their child drink from a parking lot puddle…. AWESOME!

The donuts always look fresh and smell good. It’s the service that lacks. I remember when this location first opened back in the late 90’s. The service was a 1,000 times better back then. Definitely not one of my favorites anymore.

Over priced and over rated flat heavily glazed donuts. You can only get them actually fresh in the AM I guess. And over priced flat soda. But they are polite I guess.

The original glazed donuts was good but the iced frozen caramel latte was too sweet for me 🤢 my mother-in-law glazed donut holes wasn’t fresh.

The guy that helped us was trying to rush us. Instead of listening to guest he was trying to complete their choices before they were done speaking. Very poor customer service. Also what happened to the the free donut with the hot and now sign? Bring that back with amazing customer service. Lamars makes a more amazing doughnut and has way better customer service. I expected more from krispy kreme

Its hit or miss. Sometimes I make it there and the donuts are fresh and hot. Other times I get 5yere and it feels like I am eating a wax roll. Pricier as time goes by...but its K.K., and worth it all in all.

Their original glazed donuts are the best when the hot light is on. Reasonably priced and the drinks are good too. Definitely try the seasonal donuts they serve such as the birthday cake or oreo donut right now. The new glazed with chocolate filling donut is pretty good.Updated review on 8-21-19: Their new limited time peanut butter and chocolate filled donuts are a must have.

What can I say its Krispy Kreme, that says it all plus I got a free donut for having proof of my covid vaccination. Loved it. And the donuts where fantastic.

They had a little trouble understanding my order of a mixed dozen plus one so Im not sure if it was a drive thru issue or speaker issue, but the order was right and donuts were good.

What a disappointment!The customer service was great, but I cant say the same for the donut. I ordered chocolate iced creme filled that had a dab of chocolate icing and about 1/3 of the usual creme filling. This donut was also hard, clearly not fresh.I also noticed they no longer offer the maple iced glazed.

Late night drive through. Staff was funny and very kind.

10 a.m. on a Sunday. I dont understand why they refused to serve me in the store. I was not dinning in, I just wanted to see what they had without backing up the drive-thru. If guests entering your building to do business is too difficult, Ill just shop elsewhere.

Lol, coffee machine was broken, latte machine was broken, cappuccino machine was broken.Its like the drive thru from Dude, wheres my car?LOL

Stopped in to pick up an order placed online. They asked for the name on the order and proceeded to fill a different order. When I told them it was not the right order they said they could only go by the order number. I explained that it was an online order and that I had a different order number in the email on my phone. I offered to show him the email. He said that he could do that because he wouldnt be able to see it. They finally discovered my order that was sitting off to the side already bagged up. Person helping me who said he was the manager was not helpful and as stated couldnt be persuaded that it was the wrong order for awhile. Wont be returning any time soon. Very bad experience and service.

Lady in the drive thru this morning was literally the sweetest had a line full of customers behind me and was willing to answer all of my questions without rushing any of her answers I’m not sure but I believe her name started with a D anyways I 100% recommend!

Donut was great, light, and fluffy. But, oh my, the latte was horrible. I cant express how horrible I felt to have had that liquid touch my tongue. It felt as if I had drank the urine of a diabetic cow.Either way, decent experience.

I like donuts. Many folks do. Their glazed main donut, is heaven. So are some of the others. Most of the filled donuts, dont have as much filling as they used to. And some donuts, are no longer being produced now. Thats why my visits, have be.come less and less. But, they do have good donuts.

I knew their doughnuts were great but their coffee drinks are just what I need in the morning, even the iced ones.

I go there for the krullers and they no longer have them.

Young lady in the drive through was rude on the mic, didn’t extend her hand accepting payment or handing donuts out - practically had to reach in the window. Also didn’t say thank you or anything. Her attitude and look at me had to make me wonder if she treated mrs that way because I’m white.

3 times I’ve come to get hot donuts as advertised and they are never running anything hot after 10am

We visit Krispy Kreme on occasion when we visit KC. The best time to visit is when the hot donut sign is on. They do give free samples too. They have the donut making area open to view for the kids and curious adults. The new cream fill doughnut is delicious. I recommend a visit to Krispy Kreme if you have never been.

Its Krispy Kreme. What more do I say about the quality and flavor? PERFECT as always. We had quite a few different flavors and they were only out of 1 flavor at 8 PM. To be fair, it was pumpkin cheesecake filled so I completely understood. Best Krispy Kreme in the Metro. Customer service is always on point and tonight was definitely no different! Great job guys, as always.

Great Donuts! I went during their buy a dozen get a dozen for a dollar day. There was a line to the door but the employees were moving the line quickly. I was helped by a super nice young man.

Employees were not friendly. But the donuts were awesome!! Pretty expensive for donuts, but very very goid.

Closed at 9:30 PM, Google hours say 11:00 PM. We drove 20 mins to get here. Need updated hours.

On website it says that the drive-thru is open at 530. Today I tried this and nope not open. I waited tell 5:45, tell I decided to go to La Mars. I was going to feed my crew for working overtime on sat morning, I guess I will just go to La Mars because they open when they say they will be.

Love my Krispies and the staff was awesome also it was cool to watch how they are made never seen that before #1 in my book.

They ALWAYS have a YUMMY variety of 😋 donuts that I need in my life..... My favorite is the 🍋 lemon filled....nothing like a piping hot glazed 🍩fresh off the conveyor belt....very friendly service....always a pleasure....keep em comin yall!!!

We went through the drive-through line and painlessly ordered an assorted dozen donuts. The order was delivered at the window perfectly and we couldnt leave the parking lot before testing their quality. It is very tasty and excellent for the price.

Went by at 9:53 and closed. The website indicates 10:00pm. How about y’all stay open till you are supposed to be closed. Horrible practice and customer service.

Dont bother ordering ahead. You cant pick up in the store. You have to wait in the drive through line with all the people who dont know what they want. POOR SERVICE !!!

For some reason at 11:00 a.m. The lobby was closed. The line at the pick up window was close to 20 cars long! It took a really long time!

Donuts were good but the service SUCKED. The lady didn’t even know how to fold the box she then smashed half of the donuts, then only gave us one of the donuts we asked for. She wasn’t friendly at all. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone wish we would have gone the extra ten-fifthteen minutes to a different location.

They fixed the parking lot! The strawberry donut was both cute and delicious! The staff were friendly and the place was clean. Also they deliver through grubhub.

Whats to review? Walk in, order donuts, pay and leave. Service was excellent and friendly. Good mask and social distancing was being practiced.

Because I couldnt order them on the app, I drove across town to get the special Halloween monster donuts for my staff, only to find out they were sold out. Plus, with the humongous line, I walked out empty handed without any. Sad not being prepared.

Drive thru is confusing. Its not obvious that the drive thru sign is a place to order. (Lack of order here signage, and/or speakers) As its a donut place, and in Kansas, I assumed maybe they did things differently. When I pulled up to the window, I was met with hostility because I had skipped the window.As a side note, many people with hearing and speech disabilities would have skipped the window on purpose, to communicate in another form than speaking/listening; Whether written or otherwise.A long line of cars had built up behind me. Instead of taking my order, I was asked to pull around and get back in line! I persisted that I had arrived before the, several, cars behind me, and Id like to quickly place my small order.To this I got an eye roll, and a forced, what can I get you?I apologized for my confusion, and thanked her for taking my order.I drove, out of my way, on a work day, to pick up doughnuts for myself and a coworker. I was craving fresh Krispy Kreme. So, 20 min each way was something I made time for.I will not return to this location. Next time I will drive the extra 5 min to the next shop, and avoid the attitude, and confusion.

My family and I really like this place. Love the free donuts!!! I usually walk in and order a couple dozen (or more, who are we kidding) for the family. If I only bought one dozen, my family might think Ive been abducted by little green creatures from space. So when Im waiting for my dozens and someone offers me a freebie, I have to say Bless you. Otherwise, it is quite unbearable driving home with a couple dozen assorted goodies, seated carefully in the passenger seat.. smelling so yummy... and not have a freebie to give a hungry person strength in order for those dozens to make it home safely (and completely).Weve bought many dozens over the years, and a freebie is like a pleasant thank you for your patronage.Please dont get stingy like other places in the country, because we visited family in two different states and their local Krispy Kreme locations dont observe any of the free donut advertisements that are always filling my email. Very happy to get back to KC and back to polite society where people understand the value of loyalty and quality.

You can never really go wrong with donuts (if you eat them). The location inside is nice, but the parking lot is a war zone. Youre almost better off parking nearby and walking to it in order to avoid blowing out a tire due to the amount of potholes.There are a LOT of them, so this is something that has been ongoing. Even the parking spots have holes, so you have to be careful pulling in, and getting into your car.Aside from that, the staff were [mostly] friendly. The guy greeted me when I walked in, and was very nice and helpful. He offered samples during the wait, and kept a smile. Once I made it to the checkout, the woman (middle aged Hispanic) barely spoke (it was hard to understand her because she didnt speak English well and she seemed to get frustrated with me asking her to repeat what she said), never smiled, and dropped the receipt from basically throwing it at me instead of putting it into my hand. I remained courteous to her the entire time, but she still stayed standoffish. Its disappointing to receive great customer service, and have it ruined by someones bad attitude.Employees should step away or take the day off if having a bad day in a front facing customer service role. Aside from that, everything else was great.

Staff not friendly, refused to make decaf coffee 1 1/2 hour before closing time. They told us they only had caffeinated. They hardly had any donuts in case and closing process had all ready stated.

Used the app to order in advance only to discover that their lobby is closed and they don’t answer their phones. Totally inconvenient and not customer friendly. Never coming back and deleting the app.

Get there early and get them when theyre warm. I buy several dozens to give to my family and friends.

I was at the Metcalf & 103rd location to pickup my online order and stood by the pickup desk for awhile with no one asking if I needed help or anything. They just glanced and walked away. Isn’t that what the pickup desk is for if you see someone standing there? I had to get the guy’s attention to get my order. Poor customer service. Didn’t seem like anyone cared.
