Excellent painting company to work with! From working with Ben in sales, to Dennis our Project Manager, to the whole painting crew led by Dorian and Mary the experience was superior. The team did very high quality work in an efficient manner. The job was well done from power washing to replacing wood rot, caulking and then painting with the cross hatch pattern. We could not be more pleased with the finished product on the exterior painting of our home. It looks amazing!

Positives:Everyone, including the estimator, crew chief, crew, project manager, and owner, was courteous, respectful, and professional. The estimate and contract were very clear about expectations as to what work would be completed and how that work would be completed.The crew was careful in their cleanup, although they did leave the faucets turned on every night.Kevin, the crew chief, who was overseeing multiple projects, had great attention to detail when he did a walk around marking places to touch-up.Negatives:Communication with the estimator, Ben, through the point of signing the contract was fine. Once they were ready to begin the process, Jessica emailed asking for paint colors and asking if we had any questions. She then forwarded those questions to David, the project manager, who did not respond until we emailed him the list of questions directly several days later.The contract states that Mission Painting will “provide daily updates to our customers.” Other than the day they power-washed, we never knew when anyone was coming to work so we had to stay home much more than usual. (They power-washed on Friday, said theyd be back Saturday and maybe Sunday, but they didnt show up either day. Then they showed up unexpectedly the next Saturday morning.) During the three days of painting, the project manager never came onsite or contacted us via email or text to ask how things were going. We had to stay home for the three days so we could communicate colors and answer questions for the crew.The contract states, We will use great care around flowers and all sensitive landscaping and If anything at your home gets broken, we will report it to YOU before leaving or leave you a note that it will be taken care of ASAP. Under no circumstance will we leave it for you, the customer, to find. However, our dryer vent cover and branches from our Japanese maple tree were broken yet no one told us about it. After we pointed out the damage, the company was quick to take care of the problems.The contract states, This is for 2 coats of paint. We spray, back-roll, and brush the first coat to fully penetrate and cover the surface. The top coat is sprayed to coverage after the 1st coat is fully dried. Paint was sprayed and back-rolled. No brushing was done on the first coat. Later touch-ups were done with a brush. There was never a second spraying done. We won’t know for a few years whether or not the paint job was good enough in spite of this short-cut.Four days after the painting was finished, David came out to do a final walk-around. Together we marked several places to touch up, including painting behind the weatherstripping of a door that had been closed when the painters initially painted it. The paint was already cracking at seams between the cedar shakes that had apparently not been caulked initially. He said that’s just the way it is with this kind of siding. After he left, we found that the door still had not been painted. The next day we went ahead and painted the edge of the door and caulked and painted the cracks in the siding just to get the project completed. The house does look beautiful, although we don’t know yet how long the paint job will last.UPDATE: After we posted this review, Eric contacted us and graciously offered to paint a second coat, which we scheduled for the fall. It has now been four months since the original coat was painted, and paint has chipped off the shingles in some areas and peeled off downspouts that were not primed initially. We are thankful that the company will be coming out to repaint the house in the next few weeks.

Very impressed with Missions entire process and workmanship. They gave us the most detailed estimate of any contractor, and the online portal was very clear and easy way to manage changes to our project. The crew who worked on our house was amazing--plowing through 12 hour days in some really extreme (and unusual) heat. David was great to work with as our project manager, and was happy to correct or address some things we noticed. To top it off, our final project cost still ended up being cheaper than the highest bid we got, even with a couple change orders, and our selection of the Best painting option. I would highly recommend working with Mission.

I had a great experience with Mission Painting who completed the exterior of my home in May 2021. The attention to detail was fantastic as the team treated the home as it was their own.What I learned through the process is that the most important part of exterior painting is preparation. The Mission Paint team took their time to really make sure the surface was ready to be painted (over 6 cases of caulk). Im posting a follow up review for mission painting. I had a paint job completed a few years ago and some of the caulk had failed within the 5 year warranty. I contacted Eric and he had someone out to recaulk, repair and paint the damaged areas at no cost to me.The warranty is legit and this is a company thatll be around a while. Will be using and recommending them in the future.

We are so happy to have worked with Mission Painting for our interior paint project (approx 2k sq ft) and they have our future business.We are moving into a 1920’s home with lots of charming character, but also the many nail and screw holes from previous owners. Mission did a great job of repairing cracks in the ceiling and filling holes in the walls.They used appropriate coats of paint where needed to achieve the truest color. You would never guess a dark brown paint exists beneath the very delicate off white color we picked out.Each step of the process from inquiry to final walk through was professional and well communicated as well as timely. Admin and painters were all friendly and considerate. You get what you pay for and Mission Painting was worth every penny!

I purchased a house and during inspection the inspector addressed some issues on the roof. The house exterior was painted last year by Mission Painting so I contacted them and sent them the inspection report. This was the 2nd time weve used Mission Painting. They are extremely courteous, pick-up after themselves daily, and they do quality work. Mission Painting is an incredibly professional, wonderful company. Not only did they do a great job when painting the two bedrooms we had done, they were passionate about their customer service. Home improvements can be a pain but their team did everything they could to make it a positive experience. Their painters were timely, professional and most importantly cleaned up after themselves! Mission Painting just completed a large interior paint job for my husband and I. We are beyond thrilled with the quality of their work. Mission Painting has been the best painters I have EVER used. Their quote was on point and they even pointed out areas we should have fixed we were just going to let be. The cost between them and just a mom and pop type of business wasnt completely close and they did much more work!!!!! Hello Eric,I do appreciate that you and your employees hard work. However, nobody expects a bad outcome. Unfortunately, my husband didnt fully grasp the risk, same as me. If we better understood the chance of his happening and the potential consequences, we would not have approved painting the ceiling. Honestly, nobody wants to take the risk. We are not paint professionals and we rely on you and your employees. We trusted you and expected the best outcomes from whole house painting project. When you suggested the living rooms ceiling paint first time,we were glad that you would take care of it. You mentioned This is not due to any defect in mission painting’s workmanship, but is an existing defect due to the original popcorn application process. However, we really disappointed what you said. We had two other contractors examine the ceiling, and they said that the paint was applied too thick and was of the wrong type.

Weve used Mission Painting twice for interior painting. We hired them for the second job because we were so impressed with their first job. The attention to detail when painting and time spent preparing to paint are top notch. The work space is left tidy at the end of each day. When the job is done the only sign that they were there is the awesome paint job.

David was the man! The paint job turned out perfectly and sooner than expected!

Communication was top notch from the start. We scheduled an estimate online. We received an email confirmation and Eric showed up on time. We both walked around the house and he showed me everything that would need to be done. I had an estimate within an hour. There were email confirmations of each step. They completed the work on time and informed me of anything that wasnt in the bid. After completion, the Project Manager, Jordan showed up to make sure everything was satisfactory. We were very satisfied with the finished product and would definitely recommend them. I only wish all contractors were up to this standard.

Our project manager, Jordan, did an excellent job of communicating with us and making sure our paint job came out perfect. We got on the schedule in a reasonable amount of time, and our final price paid was comparable to other estimates.We did find some small touch-ups that were needed after the job was complete, but Jordan was great about working with us to get those addressed promptly. We had Arturos crew, and they were very professional.

Mission Paining did an absolutely amazing job repainting the inside of our home. They were very professional and courteous. From the first meeting during the estimate to the final walk through after the job was complete, they made sure we had all questions answered and made sure every detail, including small ones were taken care of. The project manager, Jim had noticed a small spot that I didnt see and had the painter come and touch that up before leaving.Alfonso did an incredible job fixing the ceiling that had and issue and making it look like nothing had ever happened. He also came in and painted an area last minute that I originally didnt think I wanted painted, but afterwards realized it did. He was very gracious and made it look perfect.They also were very respectful of our home. Everything and I mean everything was covered and taped off, including every square inch of the floor. We didnt have any paint splatter or other messes, it was completely cleaned up when they were finished.I absolutely love the work they did and thank them so much for making our home so beautiful.

We were under a time crunch as we had contacted a painting company we had used in the past and they were not responsive at first and then never provided us with an estimate. We looked online and saw that Mission Painting had really good reviews so we scheduled a virtual appointment for a Friday morning. Eric, the owner, called us via FaceTime promptly at our scheduled time. We were able to show him the work that needed to be done … a small job repairing a drywall crack and repainting. He said he would be able to work us into the schedule sometime in the next two weeks. Early that same afternoon we received the estimate from Eric which we accepted. Later that day we received an email from Alex, a project manager, stating they would be able to start the work the following Wednesday or Thursday. We were amazed at the very quick response and scheduling. The work was scheduled for early evening on two consecutive days. We really appreciated the painters attention to detail - protecting the floors and surrounding areas and then cleaning up completely when finished. We are very pleased with the work performed. We will definitely be using Mission Painting on all of our future painting projects!

The job went very well. Jordan, the project supervisor, was out daily to check progress and completeness. I recently had my home painted by Mission Painting. I got multiple quotes, and they were one of only three companies (I had 6 companies walk the property to provide a quote) who actually provided a quote, and they were the only company that provided a detailed quote complete with photos. Like most good to use painting companies, there was a couple months of wait time before they could start on my project. I did experience some hiccups. These included having to follow-up a couple of times with their administrative staff about scheduling, etc., and then there were some issues during the actual painting process. While the crew was exceptionally nice and clearly hard working there were some key steps missed, including priming of new wood, etc. There were a couple of other missteps that occurred, due to lack of communication from Mission Painting. However, after reaching out to the project manager and the owner, Mission Painting went above and beyond to correct the issues I experienced and to ensure that the work they completed would last for many years to come. Mission Painting isnt perfect. Its possible that they will make mistakes (that is possible with every company), but unlike many other companies they will not gloss over them, and they will go above and beyond to correct those mistakes.

The guys at Mission Painting were really professional. Eric brought a couple of people with him to the initial consult, including my project manager Alex. I asked for an estimate to paint the outside of my house and most of the interior. The initial meeting was thorough and complete. The guys were able to start on my interior project right away. They were on time and prepared. Alex worked with me daily to work around my remodeling schedule and was able to complete my project in the perfect timeframe. My head painter, Kevin was polite and walked with me through the house to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction and touched up anything I noticed. We had the front of our house painted by Mission Painting to tie into our new siding. We are extremely pleased with the service provided and the final product. As part of their service they provided a Sherwin Williams Color Coordinator who helped us select the right color to our liking. Eric, the owner, suggested the use of exterior paint with exceptional durability. They did a great job of power washing, caulking, prepping and painting. Since we had beams painted in another color, his team was careful in their application. The final touch was when they painted our house number. :-) Eric told us that there would be an annual inspection over five years to assure us of continued satisfaction. Because of the quality of the overall job, Eric checking in with us daily, and the annual inspections, we highly recommend Mission Painting.

They were careless in our Initial phone conversation and apparently could not write down correct contact information. They did not show up for appointment time that they scheduled, and sent out reminders for. “You never get a second chance to make a first impression“. Our Painter Kevin went above and beyond what we would have expected from a professional painter. He actually pulled the mulch away from the bottom of the house when painting the foundation. The bid came in exactly as quoted. I would highly recommend this company. Our house looks great!

Jordan (project manager) was very hands on and was available to the painting crew as well as the homeowners. The crew did an outstanding job of prepping so nothing was damaged! They were efficient with their work & even worked late one evening to accomplish what they wanted to get done. I have had so many contractors leave by 3 or 3:30 so to actually take that much pride in ones work is a real joy to see. Jordan was very thorough with his inspection when the job was completed. Alfonso made sure everything was done according to our satisfaction. It looks beautiful!

Great communication throughout the process - and our 2 story home with walkout basement was done in just a matter of a couple days including a walk through to make sure we were more than happy with the outcome. Mission Painting did an excellent job. They were extremely professional from the get go. They outlined exactly what they would do, and were was responsive, professional, and detail-oriented. They gave me an estimate, and a few days later started the job. Prices were clearly communicated and confirmed prior to moving forward. From the very first call to schedule an estimate to finishing the entire project quickly and thoroughly, the attention to detail and level of service has been second to none. Eric answered his phone every time no matter what questions I had and was honest and thorough about the entire painting process. Success, discomfort and failure, success. From a grade of an A, to an F, to an A. That was my experience with Mission Painting. Starting with the beginning. The bid was fair and the estimated time of completion impressive. We went with the bid after making a few tweaks. MP got right into the house and got to work. Very satisfactory given the pandemic. Here comes the discomfort and failure. MP needed to leave our home to work on another. We said yes given the situation of the other customer (as it was explained to us--we didnt know the folks). It took a while for MP to return and when the crew did and finished the quality of workmanship wasnt satisfactory to us. Had to call MP back to the house not just once but a few different times. Examples of poor workmanship in our opinion were certain areas not painted, dust and debris left behind, carpets pulled up, wrong paint color (purple instead of gray/blue) on the outside of the house, doors installed improperly or not installed at all, paint sprayed on genuine wood floors, etc. The list unfortunately was long and we kept finding new problems. My frustrations reached a boiling point. Eric and I had an unpleasant conversation one evening. This was the low. The next day, MP returned to the house. MP got to work early that morning and had the job done by that afternoon. MP fixed its errors to our satisfaction. MP made the situation right. Our house looks great now. We are happy with MPs work and take comfort in the way the situation was ultimately resolved and with the warranties provided. The lows experienced in our situation may have been a result of COVID in some form or fashion. Stress, finances, having to talk through masks, etc. Who knows. What matters most is that the job in the end was done, and done well. Thanks to MP. I wont hesitate to use or call upon MP in the future.

Eric and Mission Painting & Home Improvements were incredible to work with! From start to finish, they did a great job. We were able to schedule a time online for an estimate, Eric showed up on time to do the estimate and sent it over within 2 hours of the appointment. Other companies took nearly a month to get an estimate back to me. From there, our project manager Jordan was extremely thorough and did a great job communicating any and all needed information. He was easy to get a hold of and was quick to act if we needed anything. The paint crew, led by Alfonso, was also great to work with! They did a great job with our wood rot repair, scraping and caulking the house, and the finished product looked amazing. They were very detailed and never left any trash or supplies behind. Not to mention, they were very friendly! I would highly recommend using Mission Painting & Home Improvements!

This painting job was a dream and it only took two days! Eric and Jordan answered all my questions in a timely manner. The crew were friendly and cleaned up every evening. They even covered my neighbors car when they started to paint! House is beautiful! Easiest contractor i ever have to deal work with on a home project!

We received a total of 3 quotes from various companies/individuals to have the exterior of our home painted… when all was said and done, I know we made the right decision by hiring Mission Painting. Our experience was first class from the beginning when Eric, the owner himself, came-out to do a walk-through and presentation. After that, we knew were in good hands and they were going to take excellent care of us. Eric was readily available throughout, but his right-hand guy Jordan did a fantastic job of running point on the project and communicating in a timely fashion with my wife who’s home during the day. As for their crew, they were polite, professional, easy to work with and did an exceptional job with regards to the finished product. We couldn’t be happier. Other things worth noting are 1) their services included a paid-for color consult by an independent 3rd party AND a mock-up ahead of time of what the home would like given our color choices. These were both a nice touch. 2) we encountered a stucco issue after the power washing… before moving forward with the paint, Mission Painting quarterbacked an effort on our behalf to interview 3 different stucco contractors to get it resolved. We didn’t have to do anything other than give them the okay to hire the best-suited contractor. Most impressive! And, 3) their crew tore up our basketball net on accident with one the ladders on their van… it happens. Jordan and Eric both called to apologize and we were reimbursed for a new net. Classy move! We hired Somerset to paint the exterior of our house. Eric was up front about what would be done and how much it would cost. He encourages you to ask questions, and answers them quickly. His crew did a fantastic job. No fuss, no muss. Eric solved a minor issue in a timely and professional manner. Will definitely use again!

Mission painting did a great job on our repaint in the Crestwood/Brookside neighborhood. The prep and work quality was great but, more importantly, they didnt consider the job done until we were happy with it. We had just purchased an older home that had a couple of spots of bad exterior boards that were discovered during the prep work. Mission was able to arrange a carpenter subcontractor to come with no additional coordination or negotiating work on our part and no set-back to the schedule at a reasonable rate. The bid process was no-hassle with no attempts to bait-and-switch or upcharge with change orders down the line. I believe we had three bids and one of them came in about 10-15% lower than mission but we selected them based on reputation, reviews and a couple of friend recommendations of mission on the one hand and horror stories about bad experiences with other outfits on the other hand. The carpentry work which ended up being needed was discussed in advance and was a known-unkown with a rate given for any carpentry required, if required, in advance. Responsiveness and follow-up attention after the job have been great too with somebody coming out within a day or two to fix a couple of little nit-picks we found several months after completion. I will happily hire them again for the next repaint.

We recently contracted with Mission Painting & Home improvements to paint our homes exterior and have been totally satisfied with every aspect of the job.Our initial contact was with Eric who explained everything in detail and provided and estimate. We had two change orders which increased the final cost, but this was because we added to the scope of the work and chose an expensive paint. So if you are type of person who needs a down to the penny quote, make sure you know exactly what you want going in.Ricky and his crew: Selvin, Daniel and Robert were amazingly efficient, knowledgeable and hardworking all the while dealing with pop up thunderstorms and scorching heat.Every surface was cleaned, repaired, caulked and taped prior to painting. Honestly I think they spent 75% of their time prepping and only 25% painting but you can certainly see how all this prep work positively affected the finished product. I also appreciated the fact that they were careful around all my plantings which are numerous and quite frankly probably a pain to work around. When they were finished the job site was cleaned of all trash and debris which in my experience is often not the case.After completion I did a “walk around” with both Ricky and Jordan, the project manager, and didn’t find one problem. How often can you say that? If something does come up I am confident they will resolve it promptly.Mission Painting may not be lowest bid, but you get what you pay for, and I feel like I received good value for my money. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.
