Its impossible to call the local stores. Im automatically switched to a national number and greeted by AI which makes it impossible to ask real human questions outside their choices. Then the wait is long to talk with a real person. This necessitated driving to the store and waiting in line at their tech department for service. The service was good, but a hassle to not find out in advance if that service was actually available there. Today I have the same problem. I could set an appointment online, but my question as to if the very specific service I want is actually available. Im hoping its not a trip in vain.

I love the open ceiling the air moves in this building for sure. The corporate aspect is the same in every best buy. The employees try to help... but are not very useful as Best Buy has a very limited scope as compared to Microcenter or Amazon.

Asked a salesperson for info on charging cables. He brought me to the display where they were, and I found exactly what I was looking for. I then asked about portable charging stations. He led me around to the other side of the aisle, and recommended one with exactly the features I was looking for, and it just happened to be on sale for $6 off. So friendly and helpful. Just wish I remembered his name.

I set an appointment to get my phone screen fixed through Apples Website using my phones serial number. After 50 mins of waiting I was told they could not do the repair because they did not have the correct parts in stock.Only solution they offered was to be without my phone for 5 - 7 days while they mailed it in.

So Im looking for what I needed n guy was helpful but he showed me the exact same one at $20 higher ?!? The exact one at $20 less was on end cap n he never showed me that , was checked out n I told a different guy the cashier hey wait a minute its on sale for $20 less !! So had to go over to customer service n wait for a manager to price match n give my money difference back , no big deal a extra 15 minutes of my time but its on sale on one part of store but yet rings up different at cashier n I have to wait n get a price match on something they had on sale ?!? Good thing I checked my receipt before Walking out door because I said to cashier before paying that total amount didnt sound right for the 2 things I got n he gave me a duh look without checking till I had to show their mistake after done paying ? How fabulous to have experts on staff!I have a Sony camera and have been seeking assistance all over the place, including online. I had no idea that I would cross paths with a Sony trained specialist at Best Buy!He answered questions and invited me to come back with my camera and he would take the time to walk me through everything and answer my questions!! Wow!What a nice, knowledgeable, and patient young man. He helped me with other purchases and really knew his stuff!Ill be back! I warned him... Friendly but a complete waste of time in trying to get a battery replaced on an iPhone. Took 45 minutes to tell me I needed to wait another 15 minutes for more paperwork so they can start the 1 to 2 hour clock to potentially replace the battery. Don’t bother taking your phone here to have service performed if you need it back anytime soon.

I knew exactly what I wanted but I literally couldn’t get anyone to help because of their new system in place for helping customers. Literally does the exact opposite by not helping me. I even told them I know what I want after waiting 25 minutes and all I got was “we will send someone your way”. No one ever came. I left and brought the product at a different place. Best Buy was not busy so I can’t imagine how they handle any crowds.

I went to Best Buy to purchase an Apple Watch. I was told by the door greeter that someone would be right over to help me. I thought that’s ok. Waited in the watch area for several minutes expecting a sales person. One salesperson was helping a customer and he said he would be right with us. Waited around a little longer and he disappeared. So I go back to the front door greeter and told him that I hadn’t been helped yet. He apologized and said they were a little short staffed. Said he would send someone over. Another few minutes goes by and no help. I finally see a sales person and I’m wondering if he is being sent to help me. I look at him and he says “I see you staring me down, do you need help?” Omg, I’ve been waiting for at least 30 minutes and I know exactly what I want but no sales person to assist with the purchase. He returned and said the watch was $429 unlike what I saw online and what I was told on the phone the day prior by sales person for that same store!! Ugh!! I pulled up the ad from my phone and showed him that the price was $359. He said he would honor that but had leave again to confirm that. When he returned, I was quickly checked out. My friend and I decided to walk around the store to see the air fryers. Again, no one came to ask if we needed help. I looked around and saw 5 salesmen grouped together and just chatting. I approached them and said no wonder you are short staffed bc y’all are all over here! They all just stood there looking at me. Worst customer service ever!!

Was easy for me to come in and pick up my PS5 without long waiting lines, they also offered curb side pickup for customers who didnt want have contact. The store was still sectioned off between the entrance and exit with indicators on the floor to keep 6 ft apart. My cashier was friendly as well and checked me out quickly.

Ordered a wiring harness and stereo dash kit from bestbuy.com to be picked up in-store. Upon pickup, the gentleman helping me asked if I’d like him to check to make sure the components fit my vehicle. I told him sure, I’d already checked online to make sure the fit was right but he can double check. Good thing he offered, because neither were the right fit! I’d have walked out with the wrong components and wouldn’t have known until my stereo dash was all taken apart. Saved me a hassle!

This location has excellent customer service, I was asked several times if I needed any help. I went here on serval occasions and the experience was 5 stars. The staff at the computer section was able to answer all of my questions and they were able to price match anything that other big retailers sold at a lower price. At times I also get some smaller rewards through my Best Buy account but it takes about 500 dollars to get a 5 dollar reward and as you buy more from Best Buy you accumulate rewards at a faster rate then when you first opened your account.

Not sure where Best Buy finds so many knowledgeable, helpful employees.The store was clean, well lit and we were greeted with a smile as we entered the door. I’m not an expert when it comes to electronics; we received fantastic advice from multiple employees in different sections of the stores. Best Buy is still great place to buy electronics, especially if you’d like some help in deciding what’s best for you needs.

He helped us with a new washer and dryer purchase with fast and very knowledgeable service!Then we had an issue with a desktop computer that we bought at Christmas! Although the Geek Squad member was not exactly helpful, Sal came into the situation and offered us the help and resolution that we needed!Best Buy has a great employee and manager in Sal. I was upset with the quality of service. The first guy that I had to go seek out for help had no knowledge of the tv/stereo section he was in and when a display was not working he pretty much said oh well, that happens and walked off. The second guy that I had to go find for help did not seem pleased to be helping us (sadly he was the friendliest). He did find what we were looking for. He then passed us off onto a third guy who also did not seem to know what he was doing and then he dropped our new sound bar. Thankfully it works. Over all I would say find a different Best Buy.

I bought a returned tv from best but online. I drove 30 minutes to the store to pick it up but the inventory was incorrect and they did not have the tv any more. The customer service offered another returned TV with the exact same specs just 5 inches bigger. Needless to say this was quite a surprise. I literally have the simplest question in the world but these people can not get to the phone for the life of them. I sat on the phone for 46 min and still no one so I hung up the call would have only lasted maybe 2 minutes. I can bet that they have plenty of people to get back to me in that store.

Atrocious customer service and no one ever answers when you call. Dont even bother. No one even answers when following up on a pending computer repair. Gone are the days of good customer service. Best buy is like, If you want it then come get it. Get what you need and get out. You are probably better off going to Wal-Mart if you are ok with this level of service. MicroCenter right up the street is probably your best bet if they sell what you are looking for.

GREAT experience exchanging a printer today! I called the store because my printer wasnt working. I had purchased the protection plan and so just needed to swap out my printer. They told me to drive in for curbside service. There was a gentleman right in front who asked me what I needed and then directed me to a parking place. A sales associate came to my car carrying a box for me to put my printer in. He went in to get a replacement and I told him that since I had just purchased $70 in ink cartridges I wanted to get the same printer (or one that used the same cartridges). He was back in about 10 minutes to let me know that he could only find one comparable printer (on sale!) that used the same ink cartridges. Unfortunately, they were out of the printer at the OP store. He told me that one was available in Lees Summit or I could have it shipped to my home. So fast and easy! Thank you all for being there for us during this crazy time!

I went in to return a couple of laptops I purchased over the holidays and had no issues. I was actually going to ask the lady at customer service her name as she did a phenomenal job taking care of me and looking up an order as I couldnt find my digital receipt.I then headed back to look at other laptops as I wanted to purchase a more expensive one since the first two I purchased online werent quite what I was looking for. I believe there were four or five team members helping other guests, so I patiently waited a few minutes as a young lady was finishing up with a customer. As soon as she finished, she began taking an item back which I had no issue with since I thought that was proper protocol for employees, and I figured she would return. She didnt return, so I waited a little longer for another employee. After about 5 minutes, someone asked me if I was being helped and professionally apologized that it would be a few more minutes. No big deal as others were ahead of me. Finally, my turn form some assistance and I had my mind set quickly to purchase either an $850 or $1099 laptop, but another employee grabbed the person helping me so the two of them could help another guest. All I got was, Im sorry, from the employee who was helping another customer while my guy took off without explanation.This time I was becoming a little upset with having to wait as Tim had me convinced to buy a laptop from him until he left to take care of another customer. It may sound a little old school, but I figured if another customer was more important than me while making a large purchase, then Best Buy isnt going to get my money, so I walked out the door.

Heads up you cant get giftcards with bestbuy giftcards. Had a giftcard given to me as a gift, visited the store 3 times and there was never anything worth buying.Tried a kitchen aid mixer but they were out every time. Finally just gave the gift card to my girlfriend. Shes not sure what to do with it either. If it goes on much longer I think well just get some switch games and donate them.

Placed order for 2 different items yesterday that were confirmed to be ready this morning for curbside pickup. Received first item after 20 minutes. When I asked where the second item was the person delivering the item said he was only told to deliver the current item and that it would be out soon. After another 40 minutes I walked up to the line for pickup and explained my situation and they said my order was still active. The response I finally received was that they couldnt find the item even though they confirmed it was ready. What a terrible customer experience. Another reason to use Amazon!

Can’t get through on the phone can’t speak to anyone in the store because they’re spread so thin. You’re basically turning down money. I’m sure the other 6 people that were waiting to be helped in the laptop department didn’t spend money there either. I get cutting back on staff for safety reasons but if you’re going to have minimal staff, require appointments so that everyone gets the help they need instead of making everyone wait 20-30 minutes before eventually leaving.
