Terrible customer service. I was told I’d get calls back and never did. Then I spoke to someone else I was told a number for the trade then the price was reduced by $3,000 when I arrived with nothing changing. Covid is tough but unacceptable.

Be forewarned, if you are issued a check over $2,500, this companys bank will not cash it.I was told this by the bank representative that this was because Courvelle Toyota has this restriction placed on their account. This was not printed on the check or the check stub, nor was I informed of this in advance. I spent a huge chunk of my afternoon discovering this. Whether this is a common practice or not, I do not know. All the same, it would have been nice to know. - One star deduction.I then returned to Courvelle to inform them of my dissatisfaction. I was told that there was nothing that can be done. My first thought was that two checks could have cut to keep the customer happy. Perhaps even a little note on the outside of the envelope would have been appreciated. Disappointingly, I was told again that there was nothing that could be done. - One star deduction.This review would have easily have been a 5 if I did not have the experience that I had this afternoon. Since 2009, we have purchased 3 vehicles at this location. We have been nothing short of pleased in the past. Tony is a great salesperson. He is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and is not pushy.I cannot comment on the service department, as my vehicle is yet to reach that point.

I scheduled an appointment very easily with Courvelle Toyota. It took only about 45 minutes to get my trucks oill changed and have my tires rotated. This is a much shorter time than another local dealership where I have my car serviced.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE!!! They completely screwed us over not revealing to us that the used car we were purchasing as a surprise for my son had been previously wrecked. They were rude in all interactions and never apologized or tried to make it right.

On Tuesday 5/12 had a 3:45 PM appointment for a service check (flip the tires and check my fluids). My vehicle was promptly taken at 3:45 then parked in front of the service center. At 4:15 my vehicle was pulled in for its service call. At 4:45 pm my vehicle was finished and I paid my fee. Upon leaving I noticed that my maintenance light had not been reset. By the time I left from the facility it was almost 5:pm. Does it normally take over an hour to flip the tires and check the fluids? If I would have known ahead of time that it was going to take over an hour to perform the simplest of checks I would have rescheduled.

Best place to get your oil changed or any other service done to your vehicle & the workers are very nice and also if they notice anything that needs to be changed or fixed they explain everything to you before doing so.. Very happy with their price and service wouldnt go anywhere else.. Been changing my oil with them since I bought my car..

Our family was on a trip to Florida this week. We had car troubles on our Toyota van. Had it towed to dealership and they were very friendly and nice. They ordered a part and it would be delivered next day. I asked if we could leave it there and we would pick up on our return from Florida. They said it was fine. We rented a van and headed to our destination. When we returned it was ready and washed. A bunch of oil came out of the vehicle while driving on highway. I had a maintenance scheduled at 11:15 a.m. (key word is scheduled!) I was there for two and half hours for routine 10,000 mile oil/filter change, tire check, etc...I missed a 1 o’clock appointment I had thinking that a scheduled maintenance would take maybe an hour. I was reminded of the days I had to sit in the pediatrician’s office when my kids were babies....poor time management on Toyota Service department

Everyone was courteous and friendly. It was a great experience throughout the purchasing process. There was no pressure and I had the chance to pick the vehicle that met my family’s needs. This truly is Happy Town:) We purchased a sweet Tacoma for our son’s 16th birthday through Mr Tony. While we were considering our options he respected our time frames (in other words he didn’t call and pressure us like other locations do). He really knows his vehicles and helped us make sure the features that he would want were part of the package we were purchasing. He has had his truck almost 6 months and other than a rock chipping the windshield he has had no problems. Today was the first maintenance appointment. The repair was fixed at no charge. I did not have an appointment since the problem occured while we were on the road. They took care of the problem in about 3 hours. Apparently a clip that connects the AC hose to the condenser failed. Perhaps when the condenser was replaced about 3 weeks ago, the clip was not attached properly.

They took me on time and did a good job with my car it drives better and i am very pleased

This is my third tundra ive owned and purchased thru this dealership — today the subject is bringing in truck for maintainence —in dealership nice greeting and smile greeted while getting out truck —even though later in evening brought truck it made no difference — the wait for my 10,000 mile wasnt long at all —- i got last bit of coffee and one of the crew noticed immediately and insisted on making a fresh pot — was nice to just relax in this atmosphere —— didnt take long at all about 40 min and i was back in my truck again ——— i do have one complaint just so you know im not rose coating this review i wish they would not do tire rotation unless they plan on balancing the tires !!!!!!! Second truck this is done to and both pulled to the right extremely —- just seems to me common sense if we going to rotate a balance should be done for saftey reasons and out of pocket next day at local tore shop to rebalance front tires hense another time stop out my day and $$$$ out pocket just saying TOYOTA really think on thisAs far as truck nooooooo complaints !!Dealership people are like family here —— highly recommend Courville TOYOTA in Opelousas !!!!

Oh my goodness! I have to say, I went in with an attitude, after a mouse got in my motor. Fussing about trying to pull the wool over a females eyes. Did I ever get humbled. Blair Guidry & ALL of the service team looked past my hatefulness & did a marvelous job. As well as Ms. Pam, in the warranty dept. Even loaned me a vehicle. We purchased a new RAV4 and was completely satisfied. So much that 2 months later went back and purchased a new Tacoma. Dealership is 100 miles from our home, so negotiating was done via internet and phone and was pleasant and hassle-free. Tacoma needed a minor adjustment by no fault of the dealership, service department was excellent, I am normally skeptical of service departments but this one was a pleasure. I bought a 2014 Scion TC from Courvelle Toyota, and I could not have made a better decision! I think that Toyota makes great vehicles, and I test drove a few other cars while I was there. Ive purchased 2 vehicles from here and Im very happy with Toyotas. However the service department is not so great. On one occasion I brought my tundra in for an oil change, they completely forgot about me and even though I reminded them several times, I waited for over 5 hours. I watched many people cycle through before me. The next time I went in for a bad clutch slave cylinder. They quoted me just over $800 for this. Ive owned a standard my whole life, and never paid more than $200 for this procedure. I brought it to a local mechanic, it only cost $150 to replace including the minor labor involved. I expect dealerships to be more expensive when it comes to service, however, 500% more expensive is not my style, be sure to get a second opinion when using their service department. I will probably buy another vehicle from here, sales staff were very helpful, but after several unimpressive visits to the service department, I dont plan on returning.

I had gone for an oil change and the person that took care of me gave off a rude vibe. I was parked and needed to get my phone before I can get out of the car and the man just looked impatient, rather be somewhere else. He also took care of me the other time as well and I did not like his service then neither. I believe his name is Eddie and I warn anyone that gets him because he made me feel so irritated when I was having a fabulous day.I asked if there was a military discount from this man after the oil change was done. He responded rather rudely to me to go talk to the person at the window. The person at the window then told me that the man should have the authority to do so. She called him back via phone and he was fast pace walking offensively back to the front. If it was not for the nice lady at the window, I would have asked for the manager. This was not this mans first time taking care of me and both times turned out absolutely horrible.I also went back for an oil change a year ago and they forgot to tighten up something. By the time I received a call asking to check if I had an oil puddle underneath my car, it was too late.I only go back to Courvelle Toyota because that was where I purchased my Corolla and I liked my service there AT the beginning of this whole relationship. I will continue to go hoping that things will change because those awards has to mean something on those shelves.

Lug nuts on rear tire were completely loose after tire rotation. Almost lost tire off vehicle on interstate heading home. Very lucky no serious accident. Called dealer and was told manager would call me. Never recieved a call .......Check your lug nits when picking up vehicle.

I purchased a Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Toyota Tacoma this past Saturday (5/18/13) from out of state, Florida. I found it on the Toyota pre-owned site and began speaking with Coty Richard about it. Coty was nice, helpful, and was great about continual communication and answering all my questions (coming from out of state, we had a number of issues to work through). I never got that pushy salesman feeling from him. He answered calls/emails from early in the morning to late at night. They even stayed open late on Saturday for me to finish up the purchase.I did run into two issues on the way home from Louisiana to Florida. It wasnt until I got on the highway I noticed the alignment was off. I had to turn the wheel a few degrees to the right in order to get the vehicle to go straight. Also, the maintenance light came on. Coty instructed me to take in the truck to my local dealer and send him the estimate. Long story short, my truck is fixed and I did not have to pay a penny.Overall I had a great buying experience and quick problem resolution.
