So many coffee and tea beverage available. If you have a hard time making decisions, just ask the cashier or barista for recommendation. I got a floral coffee drink with rose and orange, and liked it a lot. It was subtly floral, not too sweet, and I can still taste the coffee. They have some interesting tea and milk tea too!

Getting coffee at Burial Grounds was such a treat! My dear friend brought me there and I was enthralled with this place. Superb coffee, delightful baristas, and the collective is essentially worker owed which tickles my filthy, labor-rights-loving-heart. Solidarity with the service industry and creepy vibes 🖤🖤🖤

Theres not much to say about this place except its got the best coffee in town in my opinion nice prices for a great product which they have many of iced or hot most days, joking. Also on a serious note they offer suspended coffees sometimes paid for out of their own paycheck to the houseless community of Olympia. Over 400 different espresso drinks, as well as tea, tea lattes, fizzies, hot cocoas, steamers, and italian sodas, so there is definitely sometjing to fit any palate. Almost every drink is either vegan by default or can be made vegan, they have vegan pastries and bagels daily, and get vegan donuts on the weekend.A hub of activity for students and activists, with the best stocked coffeeshop library in the South Sound. The staff is focused on that kind of engaged, personally invested, egalitarian service experience that can make Olympia businesses so rewarding to participate in.Primarily run by LGBT folks and about half the staff are people of color, and they have signage specifying this as a Safer Space. They have two specially designed Accessibilty Tables. Condoms and tampons freely available from the county. The staff and the shop are heavily engaged in underhoused advocacy projects. The atmosphere is low-key and relaxed with a skeleton-centric Punky Leftist Gamer Goth aesthetic.

Great late night place to just relax. I brought a book and found a big comfy chair to hang out for a few hours with a couple coffees. No one bugged me, coffee was so yummy (I highly recommend the F*** this S*** a lavendar infused dark chocolate honey drink), I was really surprised to feel that comfy enough outside of my house to actually be able to relax and focus on a book without feeling weird or out of place, bonus that a late night didnt have to be out drinking.

This place is neat. Polar opposite of Starbucks atmosphere, but thats what I like. They do are in the lattes here, which my family thought amazing and I had a standard cup of drip coffee which was better than some of the pour overs I have had. When I come back to Olympia I will definitely return here. Families be warned however, there were condoms available on the counter. If youre a teen this is great. If you have kids already and are looking for a cup of joe, not so much.

Burial Grounds is a great place for a late night coffee. They have excellent coffee and are open late, for a coffee shop. They do cater to a very specific clientele, its very goth and eclectic with mismatched tables and chairs. The decor is very texture-heavy and favors dark colors, and they have a small space so it feels kind of dirty and cramped. Not my kind of place so it lost a few stars. But like I said they have great coffee!

Good coffee amazing tea, some of the best drinks Ive had in a long time. The atmosphere is calm peaceful inviting and the art on the walls is Simply Amazing. Review №71

The coffee is great but the place and employees are so unwelcoming and rude that I almost never go there and often encourage others to not go there. I dont even expect staff to be overtly kind, I just dont want to feel like every employee hates me for buying coffee at their shop that exists to sell coffee. Also, the seating is very cluttered in a way that makes it hard to find a good place to sit, and theres very limited plug ins so I dont recommend it as a study spot. Another messed up thing is theyre very activist and claim to be supportive of homeless people, yet you need a key to use their bathrooms, which are also almost never clean. Seems pretty hypocritical and anti homeless to me.

Review №81

Burial Grounds is not your average coffee shop. If youre looking for a simple latte or mocha, go somewhere else. Burial Grounds has the widest selection of flavors that I have ever seen in a cafe, and their large menu of different concoctions is so much fun (and delicious) to peruse. In addition to their standard menu items, theyre constantly mixing it up with new seasonal specials that sometimes make it onto the main menu if popular enough. They also have the largest variety of alternative milks I have ever seen, with soy, rice, almond, hemp, and coconut milks all offered in addition to plain cows. The atmosphere is very Olympia. The cafe is filled with mismatched couches and chairs, tables plastered with comics and excerpts from Lord of the Rings, and art both permanent and featured. They have an impressive library, and a computer for patrons to use. The baristas have the punk attitude: be nice to them and theyll be somewhat nice to you. I dont mind the colder customer service, although if youre used to being catered to by subservient wage slaves then this is DEFINITELY not the coffee shop for you. All in all, Burial Grounds is a landmark of Olympia, with a very 90s grunge attitude towards delicious flavored drinks. If youre looking for a cool place to meet, or if youre looking to expand your flavor palate, I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Coffee is weak and the coffee shop smells more like the locals than it does of coffee. Hope that’s your thing. Staff is Oly Aloof ...better than you because ..I’m not sure why really. Seems to be the attitude of anyone who works in a coffee shop. Get a real job. Shop could use a cleaning and so could the people that work here. Lots of skull decorations. For super goths and people into embracing their depression and sitting on their cactus. Not so much for people into the bright side of life. Try not to smile if you go here, you’ll ruin the vibe.
