Quality service and fair prices! I was quoted hundreds of dollars more everywhere else I called. Not only was the pricing more than fair, the job was well done. Everywhere else I called couldnt get it done same day which I desperately needed as I was having a scheduled c-section the next day and did not feel safe driving up to tacoma with my car in the state it was. He stayed late to get it done same day and I was willing to pay extra just for the courtesy but he wouldnt hear of it. He kindly refused my boyfriends offer of at least a tip and said we had other priorities to care for with our son on the way. Top notch service and a good guy. You dont find people like that very often these days but I am glad I did. My car runs better than it ever has and I will be taking my car here in the future as well as recommending my friends to Quality Muffler and Brake!

First off I live in the Olympia area, I was looking all of the muffler shops and custom shops around town and I read the reviews on this one and they were outstanding, I took my first car here with little experience on what I truly wanted the owner nicely recommended what I should do and we went threw with it. Overall 100 percent recommend this shop to everyone.

Victor was really professional and knowledgeable on the muffler and exhaust options for my 2021 Toyota Tacoma! I wanted the best sound and bang for your buck options and he recommended the best muffler option and pipe size to put on. At first Victor put on a bigger size DT muffler and he knew I was not satisfied with the exhaust sound I wanted so he gave me the options of a straight pipe or smaller DT muffler, I choose the smaller DT muffler and let’s just say I’m a really satisfied customer! He also painted my tail pipe black like I wanted for my dark gray and black theme on my Tacoma. Victor is the Man if you want great quality exhaust work done at a really fare price, he went far and beyond to make sure I was satisfied for the exhaust sound I was looking for!

Victor was incredibly accommodating and quick. He spotted the problem right away and explained it to me well. He went above and beyond what was expected and typically done for a diagnostic. I will absolutely be taking my car here for years to come!

Many years ago, my wife brought our beat-up but beloved Volvo 240 in after the muffler had detached completely. We were extremely short on cash at the time but whoever worked with us (I think it was Victor but Im not sure) offered us several options and did great work on our admittedly meager budget. Now things arent so lean, and I bring my thrashed Tacoma in to have a new tailpipe installed that doesnt melt my spare tire and they (definitely Victor this time) do an elaborate job that goes way beyond the minimum effort necessary and costs exactly as much as Id expected. I even got the satisfaction of running a Sawzall through my tailpipe beforehand. Would absolutely recommend, particularly after an extremely terrible experience at another shop in town that same week. These guys were a palate cleanser.

Such an amazing and pleasant experience, friendly, on time, quick, cheap, and very high quality.I dont know much about vehicles and admittedly I am usually apprehensive about mechanics shops and getting car or truck work done in general, he helped me to actually understand the issues I was having which is not typical of most places whether its automotive or otherwise. Called this morning for an estimate for brakes on my wifes vehicle. After talking to Vic on the phone he asked if we could swing it by for a more accurate estimate. My wife and I showed up 10 mins later and got our estimate and asked when we could schedule the brake service. Vic got us in right then and was finished in a few hours. Price came out cheaper than the estimate. I would recommend if you need services done on your vehicle call Vic first.

These guys are awesome and great costumer service. I took my husbands truck in to get info on his tail pipe being so loose. Victor was so kind and patient with me as I played middle-man and I eventually called my husband so the two could talk. The muffler we needed was out of stock, but it was in a couple days later and I have happy hubby. I would highly recommend these guys.

Went in because the exhaust flange behind the cat failed on my vehicle.1)They tried to charge me an extra fee for bringing in my own parts. which was the part that literally fell off my car and I wanted welded back on.2)They then proceeded to directly weld the exhaust back together with only a two inch piece of tubing instead of fixing it correctly with a flange. Without asking me my permission. Making it so my exhaust could not be taken apart without cutting it3) They then charged me 30 dollars in Materiel for a 2 piece of 2 round tubeOverall, I dont feel like I experienced the kind of honesty I could recommend to anyone not willing to watch them do their work and know what theyre looking at.

Probably the most honest and easy going muffler/ exhaust & brake shop there is, at least in the PNW anyways. I needed a new exhaust system for my 1995 Land Cruiser and Vic was able to get me in the same day and get the work done in less than 2 hours. I traveled a bit of distance to get there so I just waited in the office section with Vics awesome dog Zues while my car was getting worked on.The bottom line is this place is a family business thats honest and hard working, youll be just fine.

I brought in an exhaust pipe off my 1948 Ford Ferguson tractor. I asked him to repair the broken section. He did a fabulous job. He specializes in custom exhaust. He can handle anything!!

My 2006 Toyota Tacoma needed a catalytic converter which in my truck it is part of the manifold. Can only be purchased thru Toyota, are over $1,000 a piece and requires 2 of them. At Quality Mufflers suggestion we put top of the line headers and after market cats on to include a new muffler and tailpipe. The cost was much less than just parts going the other way. A year later the performance is much better and not a single problem. Highly recommend to others. They are A++ Thanks

It was well worth the drive from Portland. I had a 2.5 x-pipe system installed and it is perfect. The price was great, the service was great and I will go out of my way to have them work on any car I own. They are the BEST.

Top notch. Owner Gary was very friendly and takes great pride in his business of 31 years. I was just passing through town on a cross country road trip and really needed to get my brakes done (I heard a grinding noise, and the car would shake when I braked). I looked at reviews online and couldnt believe the high ratings for Quality Muffler and Brake. I called about 10:30 a.m. to see if BY CHANCE they could work on my car in the afternoon and they said they could. I told Gary I was just passing through town, which I thought later maybe I shouldnt have mentioned (low chance of repeat business). But I left the car there, he called within the hour with a price quote and the car was ready to be picked up around 3:00 p.m. Amazing! After I left I checked with a reputable source about the price I was charged and was told price was VERY fair. So while Im not sure when Ill be in Olympia next and need muffler or brake work done, the least I can do is leave a positive review on here and confirm that this business deserves a 5 star rating!

The fasteners connecting the mid-pipe and the tail-pipe had rusted through, and I needed help quickly. Victor answered the phone at 10:20a, my car was on the lift by 11:00a, and work was done by 11:40a. Not only was the flange issue fixed, but Gary also fixed the unseen heat shield issue. Same owner, same location for 35 YEARS at the time of this review. Highly recommended! Buy an exhaust tip while youre there!

They have a BBB A+ rating for a reason. My story: My exhaust pipe split, and within a half hour, Gary fixed the problem. He pointed out that my pipe and resonator had pinholes all over, and within another hour, he formed and welded a new exhaust pipe and resonator. My car is now quieter than it was when I bought it. Well worth every cent I paid, which was less than half the cost that a large auto service chain quoted. Im extremely happy, and I will go definitely go back for any relevant service I need, and refer anyone I can.

I walked my car in with complaints of squealing brakes, and was quoted at the door $360. I left my car overnight to let them work on it, and when I went in the next day to pick it up, I was pleasantly surprised to find that he had only needed to fix a pin, and was only charging me a half hours worth of labor (50 bucks!). Ive had poor experiences with auto repair shops and dishonesty, so it was a breath of fresh air to not get up-sold or unfairly charged. Highly recommended!

Great experience today, Victor was able to fit me in 45 mins after I called on a Saturday afternoon. Was up from Oregon and my exhaust pipe broke. For about $50 It was fixed. I would recommend this shop.

Exelecent service. Took a 1500 kawasaki left side exaust that has a 3.5 × 1 hole. The job was given to him with a week to spare and the guy called the next day with a very reasonable price. He replaced the blown section of pipe so well that the mount was a perfect fit. His work quality is like a machine shop. He did such a good job that i will personally come here for now on out.

Could have sold me expensive repair but was honest. Thought I knew the problem and was expecting to pay for repair but was told the exhaust was not it. Will certainly bring it there if I ever do need repair.

Quality of work is fantastic. The worst part was we were under quoted to get us in the door then the price went up 30%. Made an appointment a week in advance to find out we were coming in to pay 30% more than told.

Victor and Gary at Quality Muffler are true pros. My original order was exactly what I asked for. However, I didnt get the sound I was looking for. Instead of telling me I was SOL like a lot of other shops would, they encouraged me to come back in and actually sample a few options! Never once making me feel like a pain. They tried three muffler set ups just to be sure I had what I wanted and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. THIS IS WHY YOU DONT BUY ONLINE!! Gary and his son Victor at Quality Muffler in Olympia WA worked on my Catalytic Converters. These 2 were running their mouths about all sorts of stuff as they searched my car for a camera I told Molly Stroup was in my rear view mirror the night of Saturday February 27, 2016 when a accident was to be staged involving Lacey Police Officers, Private Investigators and others (well just leave it like that at this time) All the while a flip phone lay open recording most everything they had to say. Others stood close by listening. Occasionally coming over to take pictures and video from time to time. As they were breaking pieces of my car. Rummaging through my stuff. And then etching a 2 above my interior light switch which others have been breaking into my car and leaving on so I would continually wake up 2 a dead battery. Best part is the after picture of the inside of my windshield. You can literally see their arm marks left from sweaty elbows when checking the very same rear view mirror I am recorded specifically telling Molly Stroup the camera was in the date of Saturday February 27, 2016. Truly a weirdo.I know Victor and Gary from the work theyve done on my cars and they are by far the most professional guys in the business. Every stop in has been stellar, never too busy to at least hear me out. ALWAYS a FAIR price. Theyre thorough which is more important then speed IMHO especially for a custom sound or diagnosing problems. Very happy with them.NOW THE GT!!!! Tried out several exhausts and I got to pick out the sound that works for me... simply awesome. Vic literally swapped out different mufflers to make me happy. Dont WASTE your money on a website selling an overpriced product... let Vic build it for you!!!As of two days in (now that Im dun playin) my fuel economy went up by 1.8 mpg. In a v8 that is simply amazing. The weight savings is most likely the contributor to this as well as the breathability of the exhaust.... oooooo that sound is mean!!!! The power is more evident below 4K Rpms which is where these GTs seem to need some oomph. Once I get my tuner and dyno, Im look forward to see what its making. Ill edit when I do.Ive owned over 60 cars and tuned over half... never have I experienced a shop as down to earth and professional as Quality for this line of work.Two thumbs up and a cold one to these guys!
