I enjoyed working with Mike Green and the team at McCarthy Collision. After I collided with a deer, I was quite shaken and my Traverse needed an extensive amount of repairs. Mike and team provided excellent customer service. They informed me of the process, and kept me appraised of progress and status along the way. They patiently answered all of my questions, and promptly returned phone calls. The office was clean and comfortable, and the office staff was friendly and helpful. The team was passionate about their work, and the quality of service was exceptional.

Took my 2021 Camry in on an insurance claim due to a hit and run with damage to rear of vehicle.Picked up my vehicle and discovered what looked like deep scratches on my trunk. Took vehicle back to McCarthy and they determined it was “adhesive” or “ something sticky”. I waited while they cleaned it off.Upon waking back to my vehicle, I noticed what looked like curb rash on front lower driver side. Had McCarthy employee look at it again. He wiped some sort of cleaner on it and offered to take it to the back to have it buffed out.Noticed some type of spots on paint all over around wheels of vehicle. They advised it was overspray from shining my tires? I did not ask for this service, nor to be responsible to clean it. Employee had to clean up the dirty floor mat that I pointed out because “we are out of the paper mats”.Over two hours of lost wages and picked up my car that has 1136 miles on it, expecting it to look new again. Instead I got a car back after $1,135 worth of repairs with new damage.Thank you, Brent and Jim for being nice guys and trying to resolve the issue, but shame on McCarthy for trying to cover up their mistakes with “buffing”.

Updating to make good, they forgot to replace a busted plastic guard on the underside near the wheel well, they told me they would come out to our house to replace it since it was a quick job. They rescheduled 3 times and 2 of those were no call no shows. They eventually did make it out and get it done but it took a lot of calls and complaints

Ive had multiple cars repaired at this shop and every experience has been positive. My go to guy is Aaron Cook and hes been very responsive and professional in our dealings. I will continue using this place for any vehicle repairs and since I own several Nissans it is convenient for getting normal servicing done at McCarthy Nissan located within a 1/4 mile from the shop.

There were a few misunderstandings in the beginning but i overall love how my car looks. It looks like nothing happen to it. Aaron made sure I was taken care of and I extremely appreciate his Patience and the time he took to make sure I understood everything that was going on. 10/10 would recommend. My only thing is make sure that you arrange to have your car back to you a little bit later because things could come up that aren’t expected.

Bodywork result looks great, and turnaround time was good for both the initial inspection and the actual repairs.

Blake was awesome! I brought my mini van in to be repaired from catching a semi truck’s tire in my grill. To my surprise upon pick up my van had been VACUUMED!! And they washed it too! They were efficient and went above and beyond. I couldn’t be happier! Anyone with kids knows how amazing it feels to get into a clean vehicle😁 thanks again Blake and all who worked hard for us at McCarthy Collision Center on Olathe- keep up the good work!

I had my wife take my little red 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT to get an estimate on repairing some damage that occurred when the car was hit by a minivan in a parking lot. They said they probably didnt even need to do any paintwork?!?!?!? Its scraped clear down to the base plastic of the body panel!!!! The damage is VERY clear (see picture)... either they just dont care or they dont know what they are doing... or both. Complete waste of time.

Mccarthy was great to work with and my car looks brand new! Blake was awesome and he communicated well with me on estimates, dates, and insurance information!! I would recommend and would take my car there next time.

Amazing service all the way through. Everyone was so helpful & I was kept updated anytime there was a new estimate. They predicted it would take a little over a week to get my car fixed, but it only took like 3 days! So glad I brought my car to McCarthy. I believe my main helper was Mark, he was awesome!!

The folks at McCarthy Collision are amazing to work with! There are very few times in life that I am rendered speechless, but this was one of those moments. I expected my car to be in their care for 2 weeks and was maneuvering the transportation needs of the family, only to be called in 4 days with the wonderful news that the repairs were completed! I was in such shock that I couldn’t even utter an exuberant “Thank you!” for a few moments! They not only expediently restored my car, but did it with care.

Had the unfortunate experience of working with Mike Green and the GM Jim Finn. Did everything I was told to do by them, and they failed to file the claim until 4 days later when my insurance called them. Jim tried to defend his employee instead of own up to the mistake. I have spent more than $500K with McCarthy over the years buying cars, and I will not give them another dime. The gals that answer the phones and “greet” you when you walk in are some of the worst I’ve ever seen. I should have know you walk out after their horrible greeting.

I absolutely love coming to McCarthy Collision!!! Not sure if it’s a good thing I’ve had to come here as often as I have but when I do get in an accident or need any type of body repair done I’m never worried about having an unpleasant experience.Tim usually helps me and he is great! They communicate with you a lot during the whole process so you know what to expect. I would recommend this shop ever single time!!!

They had my car a LONG time-40 days. That’s okay because it was—so far as I can tell—fixed well. They doubled the estimate from the insurance appraiser. I guess that’s okay because what they said seemed like important things that the appraiser may have missed. They paid for the extra days (10) past the point my insurance for the rental car would pay. That’s great, but they kept changing the day that it would be ready and then not calling me on the day I would expect to hear from them. That’s not okay.So... kind of a mixed bag. I liked them. They were pleasant. The car has been fixed. It just took what seemed like forever and they weren’t particularly good at keeping me apprised of the status.

Kept me informed the whole time and they were very quick. Stayed within their original timeline and the work looks first rate. Hope I dont find myself needing their services again, but if I do Ill use them.

Just experienced worst customer service I have ever experienced in the auto industry. Ryan, of MCarthy, was of zero help in me trying to bring my insurance repair to his shop. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend after this experience.

Everyone was great to work with and very professional. Did perfect work on the repair job and they kept us up-to-date twice a week on the progress. I have had repair work done here before, and always the same great service and repair work. I highly recommend McCarthy Collision Center.

I used McCarthy for the second time recently. They took good care of me and had good communication. Only dropped a star because the finish time bumped back like 4x. Overall happy with the work they did.

As a lifelong area resident I can say with confidence that the McCarthy Collision Center is the poorest run operation Ive ever had the misfortune to deal with in the KC metro. I found the misquotes, phone calls not returned, and blatant apathy toward my account to be mind-boggling and directly linked to the incompetence of the manager. After Id finally had enough, I chose Santa Fe Autobody where I received excellent workmanship, wonderful customer service and a cheaper price.

I have had the opportunity to work with this group 2 times in the past 12 months. Both times I was communicated with properly, the work completed looked very good and they worked with my insurance companies just fine.I hope I don’t need their service any more, but I would go back if needed.

Tim was very helpful and understanding in what we needed. Im in a lease, so it was critical to get the vehicle back to perfect condition. They kept us informed about any difficulties that were encountered and helped when I asked. Highly recommended.

Incredibly communicative, they contacted us throughout the process. They got my vehicle in and out quickly, from quote to repair to delivery! I wasn’t using insurance so I remain concerned I paid a premium but service overcame what I suspect was a premium.Unfortunately with 6+ drivers in the family, we’ve used McCarthy collision more than I would like to admit...I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I was extremely satisfied with the level of service I received. Tim was always trying to keep me updated throughout the entire process. When I arrived to pick up my truck he personally walked me through what was done and I was indeed impressed with the quality of the repair. I highly recommend McCarthy collision for any of your body shop needs.

They told the insurance company that my car was safe to drive although water was coming through the passenger door. That caused them to cancel the rental for my son. They even had the audacity to tell me to put tape or plastic on the door. Also, we ended up taking it to another shop where we found out that the wheel was damaged where the car was hit, which also made it not safe to drive. This caused the insurance company to total the car out. Not sure how they missed that, but if I had to guess, Id say its because the shop doesnt get paid for any repairs and theyre client (the insurance company) wouldve spent more money, since the total loss equated to more than what McCarthy found. Thats just my opinion.

Quality work and Brent Mendel is very knowledgeable and great to work with.I highly recommend McCarthy Collision Center - when another local body shop wouldnt and couldnt fix my vehicle, McCarthy did. Brent Mendel is exceptional and when multiple issues were found due to the initial work, Brent and his team was always helpful and fixed multiple problems caused by the other body shop. Brents team never said no, and continued fixing it until the result was like new - I cant thank them enough.

The process for car repair was explained well. Service rep was friendly and courteous. However when vehicle got picked up noticed scratch in window tint. Called McCarthy to notify of this concern. It’s been a week and still have not received call back. A bit frustrated at this point.

My car was not fixed correctly and the cover for the light was never fixed correctly and they never called me back or left a message on my answering machine! They left the light cover all scratched up from trying to buff out the big scratch and left the scratch! It was a very bad experience for me and I’ll never go back there again!

By far the best collision/auto body repair shop in the area. Aaron cook is always my go to guy at that facility and has gone above and beyond w providing customer service. From calls throughout the repairs to doing a complete walk around to ensure that my car has been repaired up to my standards(which are extremely high, as I have no children therefore my GTO is my child in my life) to even following me to enterprise to drop the rental so I wasnt stuck waiting around. I would recommend this place to family, friends and those who are just seeking a paint job to a bad accident repair. The mccarthy Chevrolet service center even is my favorite shop for repairs. Mccarthy all around is a great and ethical company that will continue to receive my continued business and my recommendations.

I wish I never had to go here, but Im glad I picked this place. Im very pleased with the service I got from Tim. Our car was done when he said it would be. Our car looks better than it did before that garage door came out of nowhere.

I had to bring my car here to FIX the repairs that Bommarito Nissan in St Louis was supposed to repair due to an accident in June. My advisor was very nice which made this a pleasant experience. Ill update after the repairs are completed. The ONE issue I have is the receptionist needs a major attitude adjustment.

Body work was good, however the new tire that was put on, NONE of the lugnuts were tightened down. They were ALL lose enough that I could unscrew each one of them. Fortunately I stopped just a short ways down the road to check them. Could had been disasterous had I not checked them.

The repairs on our truck was under $300. Labor was over $4500. The labor is what totalled the truck, not the parts. So we lost a perfectly good truck to the insurance co. I have never had good customer service here. Not again.

I had McCarthy repair/repaint from corner, side door panels on my 2016 Camry. I had to wait 90 days for paint to cure before replacing paint protection film. When I took the car to have film protection replaced they pointed put dirt specks that were in the paint and told me it had been painted that way with the dirt specks still on the body.Dont believe Ill be using it recommending McCarthy Body Repair again.Mike Davidson

We have always used McCarthy for our repairs. They are always very nice and thorough. We are never disappointed.

Over all they did a good job repairing the damage and it was completed within the time frame I had expected. However, I never received a call telling me the car was ready for pick up. I learned it was ready by calling the center to check up on the progress. They said they would put a piece of molding back on the car so I put it in the car as I was told but the tech never put it on. I had paint on the glass and a piece of door molding was not attached fully. When i told the center of these things they told me to bring the car back and they fix those things. I just felt i shouldnt have to take it back a 2nd time because i trusted them to do as they said the first time. Because of this i recommend using a different collision center for repair work.

I give 5 starts because its safe its and there really fast with communication
