I had some small chips and dings I wanted some insight on. Brian, the consultant that looked at my vehicle, was beyond amazing! He took the time to go through all my questions, and explained what the financial aspect would be to get them professionally repaired, along with expectations if I were to do it myself. Although I chose to hold off on their services, my experience was 100% positive. From the initial scheduling to the consultation, I know that if Im ever in need for major body work, theres not a doubt in my mind Id be going back to CARSTAR. I hope the honesty, courtesy and professionalism I was given continues on to their current and prospective customers!

I am beyond satisfied with the customer service and professionalism from this CarStar. The management and team here go the extra mile and they have earned my loyalty as repeat customer over the years. They got some of the best rates in town but even more important these guys stand behind their quality and have always got the work done in a timely manner. This most recent time I needed a new bumper after an accident and they were all over it. They got the parts ordered quick, matched the paint from the body to the bumper flawlessly and got everything installed faster then I was expecting. Thank you as always for getting me back on the road quickly!

They are really terrible at keeping you updated. I called and left a voice mail which I never received a call back to the point I had to call again yo get an update. I know it takes a while to get a part but I have called with an estimate date that they tell me and if the part will be delayed longer I would rather have them call me and tell me that itll be delayed. They dont so I am always wondering are they going to call soon so I can take my vehicle in. It would be nice it they can keep me updated at least. Then I wouldnt worry about being out of town and then getting a call saying the parts arrived and I can take it in. I want to have it fixed as soon as possible.

Super professional, they work with you as if you’re family. Didn’t have to worry about the typical shady shop stereotype. These guys are honest and straight forward. 10/10 Definitely recommend!

I have used Car Star on three occasions and I was never disappointed . All of my collision needs were complex and they all turned out like a beautiful sculpture ! The CARSTAR Crystal auto body shop on 135th Street in Olathe is a true gem! Their body work and painting of my vehicle was outstanding. The job was professionally done, and I was pleased to see that the entire outside and the filthy interior was cleaned as well. Not only that, but I hada spot on the rear bumper that was buffed out for me. Also, as a courtesy an interior part was repaired to my surprise! The owner and the personnel at this CARSTAR really care about the customers - as they provide fantastic service. I STRONGLY recommend this CARSTAR to all who have a need for auto body repairs!!

Went in for an estimate for paintless dent repair. Left with both dents fixed in under an hour. I figured we would have to schedule an appointment to get them fixed after the estimate, but they fixed them on the spot. I can’t even find where the dents were. Unbelievably low price also.

Car star does a fantastic job on my car every time. I have used their services twice at 2 different shops and I was 💯 happy both times. Let’s hope I don’t ever need them again, but if I do, I’m happy they will be there!

My son wrecked his car. The person I worked with was very honest with me and said it was not worth the money to fix it. He then let us store it in their lot for free for a few days until we could get it removed. The owner was there on the Saturday that we were moving the car and was very friendly. On another occasion I called about preplacing a windshield. Again they were honest and let me know it would be cheaper for me to get it done with another company. So twice they could have taken my money and chose to do the honest thing instead. That alone makes me feel this is an honest company that will do their best for their customers. I hope I dont need their services in the future but if they do, I will feel confident that they will be fair and honest.

We had a fantastic experience with CARSTAR Crystal. After an accident, we took our month old car in for front end crash repairs. Ahmad and the team were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Got a very good service on my Nissan Murano. The staff were very friendly and was ready to schedule the service based on my comfort due to the current pandemic situation. I really appreciate them calling me and checking on the scheduled appointment and my comfort zone. I had to schedule 2 to 3 times and they were fine with that. They were on time with finishing up the work and also did a free work on our slightly bent passenger side bumper part. They did a good cleaning of inside and outside of vehicle. Really appreciate their free service. Very happy with overall service and communication.

I did not have a good experience at Carstar. I am not sure if they were disorganized or were trying to scam money from me. They would continue to send me estimates that were suspect after my insurance had told me they had already paid them. In fact, the day before I picked up my vehicle, they sent me an estimate showing all fees had been paid. I called and verified it with them because of the inconsistencies. They verified that I owed nothing. On the day I picked up my vehicle, they asked me to sign a document that said I owed $487. I showed them the invoice from Carstar showing all fees were paid, which he (Brian) ignored. Said it wasn’t him who sent it, although it had his name and picture attached. I finally left to call my insurance who straightened it out. In all fairness, the repairs were fine. Carstar employees were somewhat rude and unprofessional whenever I asked about fees throughout the process. Seemed unusual. I would not use them again or recommend them for that reason.

This place was awesome. Ahmad and the lady at the front desk was very professional. Ahmad did a great job keeping me updated on the status of my car. He worked very hard to get my rim replaced as well. Carstar did a amazing job on my car. Great quality work. I would highly recommend this place. Car star did some paint and body work to my car at the end of 2018. Recently while washing my car, a flake of paint came off from the work they had performed prior. Without hesitation I reached out to them since it had a warranty and I asked them to have a look at it so we can get it repaired. I took it in not only did they get me set up and slated and to be dropped off the following week they provided me a loaner car which was a much more convenient situation so that I didn’t have to deal with any rental car situations. The individuals at this particular location are professional and kind.

Carstar on 135th and blackbob once again performed work on my car. The first time the car was unfortunately ruined by a construction crews road plate but carstar on 135th and blackbob fixed it. This time I dented my passenger side door backing out of a carport which left it with some cosmetic damage and Carstar on 135th and blackbob fixed it. They are respectful and good at what they do at carstar on 135th and blackbob. Ahmad was very good at keeping me in the loop throughout the week and made sure I was satisfied! I highly recommend carstar on 135th and blackbob!

I got hit by another vehicle and I had used CarStar before. They do excellent work and they use OEM parts to make the repairs.

I was in a car accident, hit from behind and the back and side of my car was heavily damaged. I took it to CarStar because they were close to me. They did great work and kept me informed of progress. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. When I picked my car up it looked like nothing had ever happened to it. And It had been cleaned inside and out. I would recommend this CarStar to anyone who needed body work done.

Our Altima had some bad scratches on the passenger side and the roof. These guys were great - they completed the work quicker than promised, were friendly and professional and the car looks new. They were incredible, the would call me at different steps along the repair process to let me know what was going on and explaining various issues, the Chevrolet Parts Plant was on strike, things would be delayed. They did step up and really forced Chevrolet to get the parts so they could finish the project. The finished and the finished products is incredible. It looks like new vehicle. They were very nice and kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle. They did a great job!

I had a windshield break, body damage and a headlight knocked out. When I dropped off I asked about headlight and glass clean up. They assured me it would be taken care of. Glass was not cleaned up when I picked up the car. They were happy to re clean it. But after a 15 mins of vacuuming they brought it back and asked me if it was okay. I pulled out chunks of glsss and moved the seat forward to show them all the glass between the seats. So an hour later, waiting outside in the sun. I take my car home. Only to find more glass and my headlight still out. I call and leave a message Friday, with a live person and they said they will put a note on Johns desk. Still no call. I replaced the headlight.

The communication on the progress was good and frequent through a text message. The work looks good.

Ironically, as soon as they fixed my truck, I got rear ended by someone else, which gave me the same damage to my car so I can compare them well. I had to use the other persons insurance, so I couldnt use Carstar in this case, but I wish I could have. They were prompt for the repairs that needed done and, whats more, they were extremely friendly and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to give me a good experience all around, and if they are an option for future insurance related repairs, I would always choose them.

Scammers cheats i need a lawyer! I had my car serviced oil change etc at jiffy lube no problem a week later a 90 year old man hit my parked car he accepted responsibility. I immediately noticed the drive was differnt his insurance ussa said go fo car star by the time i got to carstar i had all kind of lghts on. I told the drugged out looking cbick that the car was driving different lights are on i was told safe to drive bring in Monday this was Thursday.monday i left my car got a rental was told Thursday it would be ready then friday. Friday car beautiful detailed 1148 invoice wow ok well before i got out the parking lot lights were back on vibration on braking i went back and the indian manager was very rude tried to say it was probably existing. Before i was hit $1148 later they took it again. Did breaks and rotors algnment. Ok. I thought that was alot. But if thats what they say anotherv4 days i got a. Chevy SUV they put me in cars i picked it up again before i got home lights back on sound like the bottom falling out i call the manager once again very rude said take it to your own mechanic or whoever service your car i call usaa abd was connected back to varstar were mr manager was so poljte and said bring it in the morning i took it up there now mr manager wont speak to me a worker gets in rides sees the lights hears the noise decides it should go to McCarthy then now i get a call bring back. Rental i will have to pay to get my car back after they milked the old mans insurance and still havent fixed my car and want me to pay. They are scamming

I highly recommend! It is by far the best place to go if you get into an accident. Everyone there is always friendly and does a phenomenal job explaining things if you aren’t quite car savvy. They don’t try to con you out of anything like a lot of shops do. They do great work (body work, touch ups, you name it). It’s the only place I will go after an accident.

I can only give this group of people 5 stars on this ap, but I would give them a 10! My beautiful blue Camaro got hail damage and I was devistated! I was thinking there would be no way to fix it without replacing the roof, fenders, hood, and trunk. I want you to know that I got my car back looking better than ever, in 3 days. No part replacing, other than the windshield. This is the best, outstanding customer experience that I have ever had. It is stressful to have an accident. It’s also stressful and time consuming to find the right auto body shop to take care of the repairs post accident. USAA recommended Carstar Crystal as a preferred shop. I know from experience working for USAA for several years that they only use the best of the best for their policy holders, so I didn’t hesitate or question the choice.From the first interaction, Carstar treated me like I was their most important customer. I was pleased and ready to hand over my car to them.Then the call came that USAA had contacted the other insurance carrier on my behalf and learned that Farmers had determined liability was their client’s and would be covering the repairs on my car. They would call me to schedule the repairs with a shop of their choosing.I was ready to fight to keep Carstar involved. It turns out there was no need to fight. Farmers also recommended Carstar Crystal! Another top rated insurance provider had the good sense to work with a winner. Thank you Farmers!From start to finish it was smooth and easy. Enterprise is literally next door to Carstar. I dropped off my car, picked up my rental, and was on my way in 10 minutes.Not only are the folks at Carstar friendly and helpful, but they communicated with me daily about the status of my vehicle through very convenient text messaging. They finished the repairs in the timeline they promised. They even washed my car and cleaned the inside for me. My 2014 Ford Escape looks brand new! So....I was struck by a deer on my way home from Vacation, my front end was damaged pretty good(ikr!🤷‍♂️). Nonetheless, my insurance company sent me to a few different shops to select from. After a few conversations with multiple shops, I finally decided based on a number of factors(i.e. Craftsmanship, Professionalism, Customer Service, Cost vs. Time, ect.), that CARSTAR Crystal would be worthy of my nit-picky-ness and need for perfection on restoration of my vehicle. The Quality of work and dedication to ones skills put into use from C.S->Claims Associates->Body Repair->Paint was Absolutely Outstanding with the quoted time of completion delivery right on time. I needed a new bumper after hitting a blow out tire on the highway. My insurance recommended Carstar. Carstar called to set an appointment with me not even a minute after I submitted the claim. I was in the next day for an estimate and brought the car in the following week to be repaired. I was informed via text along the way which was convenient. The gentleman I spoke with the first time was even kind enough to walk over to enterprise and deliver my info for the rental car since I had my newborn with me. Repair was done well and they even gave me some leftover touch up paint. Id recommend!

This place is fantastic. They were able to get me in quickly to replace my rear bumper on my Subaru, kept me updated with text messages and then cleaned the inside and outside before they returned it to me. Not only that they have enterprise rental attached to them on the left and they were able to set me up with a car immediately. As a former collision adjuster, I have a solid idea on the workings of an honest shop. I brought my hobby car in for work and was very pleased with the work they did. There was one small issue after the repair that they addressed right on the spot. Definitely recommend.

He will go out of his way to help you and make sure your experience is seamless and easy (I am sure whether it is an insurance claim or any kind of service at his location).Brad SAVED me. My insurance company, Liberty Mutual, decided to unilaterally contact CARSTAR and order my car towed to the salvage yard and smashed. This was before Liberty and I had come to any agreement on a total loss for my vehicle. All my personal items were still in my car, and I owned the car outright. There was no exchange of title nor any informal agreement.Brad to the rescue. He called me and explained Libertys Mutuals direction. He asked whether I had given my permission to have the car smashed. I told him no way and thanked him profusely for saving my car and the contents.I am sure most people and companies would not have taken the time to check this out. Brad and CARSTAR are awesome and I owe them immensely for stepping in and ensuring Liberty Mutual did not execute on their stupidity.Thank you Brad!!!
