After having visited three other Chevrolet dealerships in the Oklahoma City area who either did not have the vehicle that I was looking for or were far more interested in drawing as much profit from me as possible, it was a breath of fresh air and a tremendous relief to find the car-buying experience I was hoping for with Eric Bostic and the great people at Smicklas. You had the exact vehicle that I was looking for at a price that was fair, and no one tried to pull the wool over my eyes or deceive me in any way The facility was neat, clean, and tidy, and I felt like everyone I spoke to was sincerely interested in helping the customer to the very best of their abilities.

Got my Chevy serviced this morning, everything went well I guess, never really have had any issues with Smicklas, they have awesome people working here and I would definitely recommend them to purchase a new car (Clint was my salesman back in September 5 🌟) and to get your car serviced... so you my wonder why not a 5 star then? Well simple, the service advisor who took care of me just didnt seem like he liked his job or a least thats the vibe he put off, I mean like seriously its early in the morning and I know I dont want to be there dealing with car issues SO AT LEAST SMILE AT LITTLE, ACT LIKE YOURE HAPPY IM HERE lol...That was enough to lose a star with me. HOWEVER, I still love Smicklas Chevrolet.

We took our suv to be serviced because there is a check engine light on. We had a appointment scheduled for Friday at 1pm. 1st they didnt call with an update 2nd when we called they said they would need to keep the truck overnight because they could not figure it out. Now its Saturday and still no call about the truck. We call them and the response was they havent looked at the truck. So we had to pick up our truck still with the check engine light on. They have the worst customer service. Will not recommend them and will never return.

Amazing experience today! The service department was able to get my truck in to be serviced and address a hole in my back tire really quick! Now, my truck is safe and ready to go for my family. They are always super friendly and Rachel was super nice asking if I needed anything, especially since I had my infant son with me. There’s nowhere else I trust with my truck :)

My service representative(Tony) hasn’t given me a single update on my vehicle in the 2 weeks it’s been there now. If I want any update I have to call them. Always get the run around with the texting service and no real update. Only thing they tell me “well the transmission guy is out on injury still, you can take it to another dealership if you want. They all have been backed up.” From one of the service call girls. I’ve asked Tony multiple times about a loaner, he says he will call around to the rental services and then never gets back with me. Just a lack of care for their customers.

Our sales man was very professional and actually listened to what we said. I go to the car lots with chip on my shoulder, ready to have to fight for what I’m wanting .. “ SLEAZY’ is word I use for most new dealerships and sales people, and it’s a well deserved use of the term... but this was a very easy, no stress transaction... I actually had more trouble and stress trying to switch my Sirius radio over to the new vehicle.. I have already recommended the dealership to friends and family looking to buy a new vehicle..GOOD JOB !! Smicklas Chevrolet.. hope you keep it up... we will be back..

Great experience at Smicklas Chevrolet. Eric Dan was my salesperson and he was great. Eric was very kind and courteous. I purchased a new 2021 Traverse from them. Eric was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was with me thru the entire process from test drive to driving my new vehicle off the lot. The new car manager was also great to work with and gave me a good deal on my trade in and new car. The entire staff was extremely pleasant. The door was opened for me, with a welcome and smile, each time I entered the dealership. Smicklas rates number one in my opinion and I definitely go back to them in the future. Thanks Smicklas !!

I bought a car from Smicklas almost 2 years ago. When I bought the car it stated it had 18k miles on it. I never had any issues with the vehicle and was very happy with it. I was going to trade the car in for an SUV seeing as how we are having another child. However, when I went to do so the dealership said there was something wrong with my title. I then called the tag agency in Oklahoma and they told me when Smicklas received the car the title said it has 187k miles, and they didn’t take the steps to verify the actual mileage. I then called Smicklas to get some paper work to fix the issue. They sent a few files and told me to fix it. I was okay with doing so seeing as how I just wanted to get my family into an SUV. When I called the tax commissioner to fix the issue, they told me it wouldn’t be that simple. They said since Smicklas had the car verified by another tag agency at 187k miles they needed papers from them as well saying they made a mistake and it had 18k miles. I then called Smicklas back and asked if they could work with me on this new problem. They seemed like they wanted to help. This was three weeks ago. I have talked to 4 people and have to explain the situation every time… I now am unable to get in contact with anyone and they don’t return my calls. I am sure Smicklas is a good dealership, but if you have any issues I don’t think they put their customers first. I hope nobody else has to have this issue.

After a bumpy start to our car buying experience Smicklas Chevrolet was able to provide us with a very pleasant experience.After finding a mistake on our contract we were quickly brought back in to fix the issue with immediate response from their customer service.Gerry was a great salesman to work with and Kevin was extremely helpful during the finance process. He was very polite and patient and took as long as we needed to go over each page in the contract and made sure we understood everything and ensured that everything was correct this time around.A+ customer service. They need to fix their scheduling system because when i called to schedule my diagnostic they said it would take 4 hours, but then at the dealer ship they said it would take 2 days. When asked why, the dealership service told me that the scheduling department is in a different state and they don’t know that it’s going to take longer. Then they went ahead and started fixing my vehicle without calling to ask if it was okay to, and when i called to check up on my vehicle they said that it would be ready Saturday morning. Then on Saturday morning they tell me not until Monday. THEN monday they tell me not until Tuesday at 1 pm, then Tuesday they say 3 o’clock. Took almost one full week to fix when they told me 3 days, and had to make arrangements to get to places because I didn’t have a vehicle and then telling me the next day every day I called made it harder because I had to make last minute arrangements.

My check in and check out process were great and how quickly the service was complete surprised me. A few days after the oil change the low windshield washer fluid popped up. On the website it says check fluid levels. Is this something that is only checked and not filled? Was it checked? This is the second time that I have had an oil change with the inspection listed on your website and ran out of windshield washer fluid.My issue is either do it or dont. DO NOT list it as a service if you ARE NOT going to do it. Did you and your team do everything else? Was the Oil really changed? Did the oil filter get changed? Do I have an unrealistic expectation? Please be honest, if Im expecting too much from what is listed then tell me I am wrong, if Im not then maybe I need to go somewhere else for service or the expectation of services preformed needs to be better listed, such as.....We only put windshield washer fluid in when the light comes on. That would be a valid expectation that I could walk away from knowing that I am responsible for following up on any fluid other than oil....or do I need to go somewhere and have that checked also.

We were having problems with an error code on our 2021 Corvette on our trip out west. My wife looked for someone in the Oklahoma City area and called after seeing reviews. Can’t say enough about how Smicklas Chevrolet went over and above in helping us with our problem. Got me in the next morning at 8 and had me back on the road by 11. Tony our service advisor even steered us to a good hotel for our overnight stay. If you live in the area or are coming through and need service go see them a total first class operation!

I got a van, obviously the only thing they wanted to show me but it fit the family and I now am the owner of a minivan. It would be nice if they would have asked what kind of vehicle I was interested in, but the salesman I was stuck with saw I had three kids and decided what I needed. I am very fine with the car, I’d say I’d give it a six out of 10, but that’s the best I can really say. They excepted a debit card which was nice if I’m really looking for a perk. Don’t get me wrong, I left with a drivable car that was nice. Communication needs to be worked on at that company. Because of this, they delayed a trip I was making and I missed a baby shower, and introducing yourself when calling a client should be obvious, not just hey. This is my third vehicle to buy in my life, and was by far my least favorite experience. Like I said, fine with the car. It’s fine.

Today I had an oil change and tire rotation. I believe they did a 52,000 mile service. I was told my brakes were good. Im fixing to go on a trip to North Carolina, so I wanted to be confident that I wouldnt have any problems while on the road. They washed my car for me!

I had a coupon for a $20 off oil change. I scheduled an appointment online for the $49 service. After making an appointment I still had to wait over an hour and when I checked out they charged me $49 for the oil change minus the coupon and then charged me $25 labor. So I basically paid full price for the oil change and could have gone somewhere else for cheaper and faster. This is the second time I’ve had issues with this dealership and their poor customer service. I won’t go back.

I took my car in due to it overheating, I told them what all had been repaired and replaced within the past few weeks. The mechanic who had been working on my car physically went up there and told them that he could see a fan not turning on he just didn’t know if it was a computer related issue or if the fan needed to be replaced. Chevy told me my thermostat housing failed (which is a part I mentioned was just replaced and brand new). They said that’s what was causing the issue since it wasn’t a gm part it failed. I bought the part from Chevy had my mechanic put it on and it DID NOT fix the issue. So I wasted 264 for diagnostics and 269 for parts that I did not need. My mechanic went ahead and replaced the fan and I now have no problems other than giving Chevy money I didn’t really have to give away.

I came in to get my first oil change and tires rotated. Also the is a high pitched whistling sound in the passenger side vent/hood area. Ray, the service person said he did not hear anything however it happens every day it sounds as if outside air is leaking through a hole. He acted as if he didn’t want to even try to look for the problem although my truck only has 4900 miles. The warranty is 100% valid. Also, just before my truck comes to a complete stop, it noticeably shakes. He stated that it is normal. I’m no mechanic and can tell you it is not normal. His customer service skills are horrible and he should not be working there unless he actually wants to do his job. I will never go to Smicklas nor will I refer any friends or family to this place.

Dealership broke my dash doing the airbag recall. Then wouldnt return my calls, texts, emails. Filed a complaint with GM. Dealership lied to GM and said the dash was already shattered (which they couldnt have changed the airbag if it was) and told GM that the dash was no longer available. I can order it direct from GM for less than $400. NEVER, buy from this dealership. Service or vehicles.

I just bought a car here at this place. The guys here are very nice, Gerry is the man you should definitely ask for him he will shoot you straight. Given the covid times expect to have a hard time contacting them on the phone, it is best to go in person to speak with someone. When I bought the car the battery was dead and they replaced my battery for free the following day when I went up there and talked to them about it. Overall good experience but the phone situation is frustrating, make sure to go in person and then you will have no problems

Bought a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 in March 2021. Took the truck in yesterday for its first oil change, rotation and for them to check the radio and blue tooth because it stopped working for about three hours and then worked again. On the way home truck pulled to the left and kept hearing a knocking sound. My husband drove it and the ES light, engine light, parking brake service and the traction control lights came on. He looked and a sensor had been knocked loose and the screw was out of it. Got in the vehicle the next morning and the idling was bad, we turned off the traction control to help the knocking to stop. Worked for a while and then started getting worse as I drove. My husband took it in and they tell us the engine was failing and we need a new engine. Im at a complete loss for words because the engine was running beautifully before we took it in for the oil change. The only explanation given was weve had a few trucks to do this. Extremely unimpressed.

Worst place to get your car serviced and I will never do so.. I go in to drop car off for a complementary oil change and come out with a complementary damaged car. The service advisor drove my car right into a pole right in front off me. When I said I wanted to take my car to we’re I wanted to fix it they said NO. They said We’ll fix it here.. I told them multiple times that I didn’t want it to get fixed there. And they said either we fix it or it’s no getting fixed. I allowed them to (fix) it and it still wasn’t fixed. 4 times I told them what do do one fixing it. And they said they did but just keeps making it worse and worse. After the 4th time of this happen they told me go get a quote on the damaged don’t to car. So I did and they used the excuse that because the company would not allow them to pay for it they weren’t goingToo. I’ve only had this car for 10 months. No wreaks it’s a 2020 blazer first driver.. The GM and the customer service coordinator ignore my phone calls and never give me calls back as the reception says they will. I am going to take to court for this issue. And will never go to purchase a vehicle from Smicklas or Group One auto again AT ALL! I hope they get there stuff together.

The manager did not stand by what he said on waving DOC fees, and actually only took part of it off. After the buy, the general manager cannot be reached or will not return any messages via email or voice mail.Dont make my mistake and trust them, double check your numbers before you sign any agreement. I only actually took the vehicle after realizing my mistake because I was out of town customer, and only walking away over a small fee was not worth it. Its not about the amount but more about their word.Definitely not returning to buy again unless all is double checked. But would just rather avoid them.Response to Kara:Like I said before, I have called at least 5-7 different times and have even left voicemail for YOU with no response.I have also responded to your follow-up email after the purchase and sent a couple emails (with my cell) after the fact and again with no success.

We purchased a vehicle from here in January. I went online to make our first payment and noticed they added a vehicle service warranty on to our loan when we specifically said we did not want it. It increased our loan amount over $2000. I called Smicklas to try to cancel multiple times and of course everyone was always busy. Finally figured out how to cancel on my own.Also, took them 4 hours to detail the car after we bought it. Not sure why. We kept waiting and waiting.Kenneth was nice, but I was put off by him since he didnt think we were serious buyers until we were talking about financing. Then of course he REALLY wanted to work with us instead of handing us off.Vehicle is nice and we got it for a good price though.

Slow as cold molasses. Was told to be there at 3 checked in at 2:46 and still took them until 4:17 to get me out for an oil change. Also didnt fill the wiper fluid. Very very meh. It would be worse if I had to pay for it. Luckily this change was free. I have another free voucher but may pass on that one.

Ive been a long time customer of Smicklas and decided I would get some things fixed on one of my vehicles. This included replacing a motor mount, rack and pinion, struts and master cylinder for the brake system. After getting it home suddenly the AC doesnt work. I take it back in and somehow Im supposed to believe a leak appears to have just exploded as it was said from the refrigerant line and they want me to fork over another $1000 on top of everything else I spent. There is no doubt that this happened while doing the other repairs and yet they expect me to just pay for it. It is clearly time for me to find another place to get my auto work done.

Making an appointment was pointless. After 2 1/2 hours i was finally done with an oil change. Also they never came to ask about the malfunctioning seat belt. I will not return to Smicklas Chevrolet.

I arrived to get an oil change at 10:00am. I was quoted that it would take 1.5 - 2 hours for an oil change. That is a pretty long wait but I was already there so I went ahead with the process. After waiting 2 hours I decided to ask the guy up front of the service department how much longer it would be. He went to the back to check and said they were almost done and would be bringing it around front. 30 minutes later my vehicle was finally ready. Two and a half hours is way too long for an oil change.

I made an appointment to get regular maintenance done and take care of a seat belt recall on my truck. Because I had questions regarding the time needed for the service, I called in to make the appointment. Only the recall was booked. The service agent that checked me in added the maintenance to the order and it was taken care of, but I had to explain what I had tried to book for the service. I have been trying to get a Sales condition resolved since I bought the truck a year and a half ago and keep getting jerked around by the Sales Managers that I have tried to deal with on this. I have been a loyal Chevy/GM customer for almost forty years, but am seriously looking at Mopar products moving forward.
