First off Im a disabled army vet . I took my engine in back in April and picked it up today October . The engine is not done and was told when dropped off it would be $1600 to build the engine . After it being there all this time the first block I took in I think he brook it so I had to get a different one and it still never got done . I paid &1600 up front and then $500 for the new block and had to pay $855.92 to be able to pick it up today and was now a finished engine . So now I still have to get rocker arms and a harmonic balancer witch I would not buy from mark do to the over charge he had already done . Also Mark because I didnt want to leave my engine in his hands any more . So for anyone else do not take your car or anything to mark you will get over charged and may or may not be done when he says .

I would highly recommend not going here for any machining work called ahead to make sure mark could turn my flywheel and he told me he could and to bring it in so I did I got there and gave it to him I made sure and told him that I needed it done by 4 it was about 11 at the time he told me it would not be a problem and would be done came back at 2:30 to check on it still had not been done but he told me he was still gonna be able to do it before 4 went and waited in a parking lot for a hour and a half confident that I was going to be helped just to come in at 4 and find my flywheel was sitting in the exact same spot I had left it 6 hours earlier I completely understand being to busy but I definitely do not understand wasting people’s time if he would have bothered to call me and let me know it would not have been done or just told me at the beginning of the day that he could not do it I would have understood and been able to find a shop that could do the work overall definitely will never go back

Dropped a ford 302 to have a block Prep Done preformed I even prepaid and Mark took 6mo before I informed him I was getting a refund then all tha sudden my block was gonna be ready by the end of Business of that Day....

I had a civic cylinder head machined at Jackson and the seal is still holding strong over 5 years later. They were friendly and the price was reasonable. Ill be taking in some rotors soon and was so pleased with my memory of the service I decided to write a review.

I was referred to Jackson Auto Parts & Machine because the muffler shops I called wouldn’t, or couldn’t, install new exhaust manifolds on my 2016 F150. They accepted the job and did a remarkable job installing my new exhaust manifold with new catalytic converter and Y-pipe. And they charged me a very reasonable labor rate. I already recommended Jackson Auto to my coworkers and will be returning to them for any other repair. Thank you for taking on a daunting task and doing an awesome job finishing it.

My husband and i took our old school car to Jackson automotive back in 2017 the end December. The day my husband got our car back, it broke down the same day after paying a thousand dollars up front. Took the old school back to Jackson the very next day which was January 2018, and the owner kept giving my husband the run around about finding parts for our vehicle...my husband and I went to pull-a-parts, & found what we needed...took the parts to the owner...( we did his job) he never kept us updated unlessmy husband would call or pop up at the shop. Jacksons Automotive, Had our car from January 2018 until October 2018 which i understand old school car may take a little longer.... however, once my husband picked up the car he had me to follow him to the Gas Station...he filled the tank up with gas.. I then noticed a huge puddle on the ground at on-cues Gas Station. I ask my husband, what is that gushing from the bottom of the car? It was gas... Could have killed us both.. We hurried trying to drive the old school home due to gas pouring everywhere... He lost every bit of gas that he put in the car... I immediately told my husband WE ARE FILING A LAWSUIT!!! before this happen to someone else. Not only did Jacksons horrible work put our life in danger but others that were around as well.. Gas is dangerous. I told my husband several months back to get his car away from that man. He took it right back to him only because he had just payed him for the final bill...which he claims Jacksons knocked off some of the price. He did pay my husband back for the gas he lost & he claimed it was a sensor...& called his self fixing it. Well guess what? Its back leaking gas.. Finally, my husband found a shop that can fix the gas leaking problem. I honestly dont know how this man stays in business.. 1 thing first i addressed to my husband always read the reviews. If its bad reviews then use your common sense.

This shop is one of the most knowledgeable when it comes to engine rebuilds. I was treated very well and given an estimate that they stuck to with my Subaru FJ25 engine. They work hard to find parts that are a good deal instead of charging a ton for them (I needed a new crank they found a used one which took longer but saved me 400 bucks). It took a few weeks to completely rebuild my engine and i was 100% satisfied with the way i was treated and the quality of the product. He also informed me that there was a detonation issue with my engine which allowed me to solve an issue that I was not even aware i was having. YOU HAVE TO TRUST THEM. They are experts.

Unless you like being talked to like a jerk dont bother going here. The most arrogant machine shop staff I have ever encountered. You would think they are the only one in the state. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 20 min to Marks machine shop in Choctaw. Cheaper, more timely, good attitude, and same quality.

Very incompetent ruined one cylinder head I had brought charged 325 dollars to install valves guides and seals sated would not charge to fix the problem had another cylinder head produced a good cylinder head to correct issue and was charge an extra 225 dollars for their mistake. For any one looking to use this machine shop do urself a favor go somewhere else that will not take three months to return back a finished product and double charge and think that it is ok.

Never had a problem they tell you a week it might be 8 days but hell i cant talk im always a day late and a doller short my damn self but they do good work and are honest thats hard to come by some of the complaints are not valid like the guy with the head gasket stating oil getting passed a ring what in the hell does your cylebder ring have to do with a head gasket job i thabk they just got tired of hearing ya and probbaly fixed it on thier own dime if thats the case my hats off to these people

Had a motorcycle cylinder that need to be resleeved, said he could do it, but put it off for almost 2 weeks . He told me a magnet stuck to a nickle plated sleeve.......... has. No business havin a machine shop, toOK my cylinder straight to pats machine , and he started right away and will have it back to me within a few days ,DONT TAKE ANYTHING TO JACKSON MACHINE

I took boat motor there a few years ago and it took 3 months for work to be done on it. Thought I would give them another chance and it took 3.5 months for machine work to a block. Would keep saying it will be done tomorrow but couldnt make time promised. dont go there unless you have no time constraints.

They had my 06 suzuki forenza cyl head for a month and a half and then charged me 240 dollars to seat 16 valves and resurface the head the last time i took them two heads was done for 300 done in 3 days was great and they had to do a lot more to them i will never go back to them for machine work worst experience ever

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. For starters, they went 3 weeks PAST deadline. They are an extremely unorganized business, and cant keep track of their service orders(they lost mine). They charged me almost $150 over the quoted price. After the first deadline wasnt met, I was given a second one; which was also not met. No one called to give updates. The owner, who is very rude, FORGOT to give one of his employees the go ahead to start on my head. WORST SHOP IVE EVER BEEN TO. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!

Last place I would take any vehicle took 3 months to fix a head gasket. Once done they had to do it again because of oil getting by one of the rings. Went through 3 mechanics before I got truck back and doubt he fixed it 🤔

I have to agree with other reviewers. They are very arrogant. Their prices for turning rotors are slightly less than OReilly. But they are at times rude and they are not respectful.
