Every interaction Ive had with this business has been great. The owner really knows his stuff. A few years back he helped with a custom piece of glass that I needed for a glass enclosed shower. He not only told me how to measure the glass I needed but also what hardware I needed to purchase in order to put it together. This alone saved me nearly $2,000 since other companies told me what I was trying to do required a custom made shower installed by a professional. Even the manufacturer of the shower door wasnt as helpful as this business was.Recently, I brought in an old window sash that had a cracked piece of glass. I was expecting to get in a couple days, but he repaired it right on the spot. I came back in an hour and half and it was done! They are really affordable, as well. I also broke the window balance while putting it back in, so I called to see if they carried this special part. He knew the exact brand name and researched where I could find it. (Just a side note, let them know that you are coming in since this place is so old school they actually leave for onsite repairs and there may not be anyone in the office. He was back exactly when he said he would return, though!) Excellent customer service and value!!

They did an excellent job getting the two entire sets of mirrors for our rental properties on very short notice. They had them done perfectly and on time. Great service thank you!

Glass shop has been there a long time. Buzz to enter street side. Parking just past building in Russo fenced lot. Kind people doing great work at reasonable prices. Parking on street may earn you a ticket... park in their lot.

They opened at 9am sharp on a Saturday. Walked right in, explained what I needed, and within 25 minutes my large single pane glass had been replaced in its frame. Excellent service

An old school Craftsman with old school values and mad skills. Dennis will actually take on your glass project and then care about the outcome. He not only sourced my double paned glad units, he installed them into the frames at no extra cost, and taught me how to do it myself next time. Dennis at Russo Glass was an immense help when vandalism left us with 8 broken windows while we were out of the country visiting family. Dennis was extremely prompt, communicative, honest -- plus did a great repair job! He also gave us some useful tips on how to save money on windows in the future (unfortunately not applicable to our present situation), and advice on navigating the insurance claims process. Called about getting a window repaired very rude. When they answer the phone it feels like youre bothering him and mumbles when he answers the phone. I told him emeryville he says he doesnt go that far. Ten minute drive from east Oakland. He dont want to work. No job should be to small. Thought they were a reputable business. 😕👎😕👎

In an era when long-established companies properties are being bought up by developers who kick them out and build luxury chateaus for the entitled class, its hard for local family businesses to survive. I needed a small piece of glass to be cut for a section of a bigger window in certain dimensions. The dimensions written were not very clear, he took his time to discuss the project with me... And then cut it and wrapped it so nicely and gave it to me... And did not charge me anything. I thought the whole thing was very sweet. Left the place with very good feelings. I recommend this place to everyone....

Russo Glass has been my go-to window and glass guy for over a decade. Hes fixed some seriously messed up projects like leaded glass sagging out of cabinets, oddly shaped one-of-a-kind projects, and standard run of the mill windows. His prices are so reasonable that I feel like Im committing theft.
