My FAVORITE coffee spot since moving to Oakland. Ive tried their seasonal Pumpkin Pie Latte and Almond Roca Latte, and both were absolutely delicious and not too sweet. There was only one time the coffee tasted way over roasted but other than that, consistency is there. Beats all the other coffee chains around.

Peerless French Roast Coffee, ORGANIC. May contain artificial and natural flavorings Do you know what Organic means? The ingredients in Organic coffee should read, Coffee or else it is not Organic?? Will never buy your products again.

I absolutely love Peerless coffee my parents have been going here since I was a child. Fantastic coffee and the aroma brings back fond memories. Needless to say I and my parents regularly buy whole beans here.

Excellent product line ... but with spotty service. Understand, the problem isnt really the service as a whole, but certain individuals. I normally would give 5 stars for such a lovely product line, but now ... only 3. Sorry Peerless -- Ive been coming for over 45 years ... and now you get a review from a tired older man who wasnt happy being treated like the worms that crawl in dirt.

I have been going here for a year specifically for the preparation of chai. Its good. However their customer service is WACK. Over the past year I have witnessed certain behaviors displayed by the personnel in the storefront that showed signs of preferenceover certain customers. Today I had a double experience. Lol 2 of the employees made uncomfortable remarks to me. The first one is a tall girl. She might be in her mid 20s but she usually runs the register. For the last 3 months shes be calling me creepy..which is weird to tell a loyal customer. The 2nd one I am not familiar with but today she yelled at me ..in front of other customers.. try not to scare any kids ...which is weird also to tell a customer. Im not sure why a business asking for customer support wants chase away its customers but they successfully did this one. I do give them one star for their chai and another star for the majestic creature with the fire red pelt and whome wears the Seal of Solomon as she has always displayed a wonderful greeting. For the others...I hope you heal..learn and grow to be majestic yourselves. #namaste #raisehumanconsciousness or #remainanimal

Absolutely phenomenal. We stayed in CA for a month long trip and along the way picked up some vanilla nut cream beans. We made it back to WI to make a cup of coffee with our roomate. From all 3 of us, thank you. This coffee was absolutely delicious.

Oaklands Coffee Scene is awesome. Port brings in the beans and Peerless anchors one end of 3rd street roaster row and Mr Espresso anchors the other end with a 1/2 dozen in between. Peerless only needs bathrooms, poser outlets and indoor seating to make it my end all be all.

I am a mail order customer. I am always delighted with the prompt delivery service that Peeless personnel provides in filling online orders. I usually order on Thursday or Friday mornings and can count on my order being delivered to my home in south Hayward/Union City by Saturday. My favorite everyday coffee is 90th Anniversary Blend and Presidents Private Blend. I have tried many of the holiday flavors that have knocked my socks off. Open my cupboard and you will see two shelves stocked with a variety of Peerless coffees that heighten every mood or occasion, even a wonderful water-processed decaf coffee for a late night cup of my favorite beverage.

I love their coffee! It is cute place, unfortunately sitting is available only outside. But coffee shop itself is really nice, well decorated, service is good. If you order regular drip coffee, you are getting free refills and there are at least 3 different options of different blends including decaf. Also you can buy several types of teas, coffee machines are available to buy or any cute coffee/tea related stuff.

Excellent local coffee company with an impressive selection of whole beans and loose leaf tea. Its also a small boutique so lots of coffee and tea-related items including espresso machines and of the like. The staff is very knowledgeable about the coffee/tea as well as quite congenial. Theyre typically well-staffed so Ive found it rare to have to wait for very long.

Walked in and up to the counter to say hello and the kid couldnt be bothered to look up from his phone. Finally noticed me and just looked at me. I say hello again and he shrugs and said, What?I work retail too and know what its like when customers want to come in and be treated like kings and queens. This was not that, this is just a human not being bothered to say hello when someone else does.Will never waste my time here again.

Walked, was greeted, the aroma of coffee was beautiful and upon my first sip of fresh coffee I was in heaven. I immediately bought a pound of beans.I highly recommend this place for your coffee needs. Truly a wonderful experience.

Peerless coffee has some of the best coffee on the planet. They used to have a variety of coffee mugs and brewing devices and candy, which was great because they were unique. This email cute items are gone but the great coffee is still available .

This is the place where Peerless roasts their beans that are sold all over the West coast.They have a retail store with a historic feel. Prices are lower than what is found at the supermarket and sometimes the beans are still warm from roasting. In the mornings, they have a barista window. There are some cafe tables outside and they have 2 small parking lots that never seem to get full.

Hands down the best coffee in oakland! They roast the beans here and there is a retail store where they make great lattes. They also have a great selection of teas.

I had the good fortune to try some Peerless coffee on a road trip recently.....Now, none of the coffee I used to buy does it for me any more....Just wish I could find it in Reno, Nevada...my home base. It truly is the best....the real star of taste and boldness.....

So unprofessional they take money out of your account without permission- this happened several times took 6 weeks to get it back only after calling the owners, sales reps dont know how to be honest...Peerless say yhey only charge with permyat the time of ordering —-Not so, we have NOT been their customers for several months because of their business practices—-two days ago they took almost $2k out of the bank without permission- remember we are not their customers- We are filling with authorities! So many other options out there RUN!
