Great neighborhood spot for excellent coffee. Their coffee is delicious and we also buy our beans from here as they roast them there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Love this little gem.

Ordered their light drip (Ethiopian blend I think) but came away feeling it was slightly overrated for coffee. The staff was friendly and service great. It’s in an upcoming neighborhood I guess. Will try again given the other reviews and update.

This is my favorite coffee spot and distributor. They are always incredibly friendly, the price to quality ratio is perfect, and they sell 5lb bags for $50! Plus you get a free coffee with your purchase. Go here and try, you will not regret it.

Its near public transportation, offers free but slow wifi, a restroom,); has in and outdoor seating (outdoors, a little more space). The coffee was ok; the service couldve been better. They offer free coffee on Fridays!

I was bike commuting around Jack London Square and had a flat. I found Bicycle Coffee and they were kind enough to share the tools and parts i needed to get rolling - from their business fleet of bikes. Matthew and Gavin are great! They deliver coffee on bike - and its fresh-roasted right there on site. Go get a cup - its delicious!

This coffee shop is original in its concept and coffee. As the name suggests, its popular with cyclists and its themed that way. They have cold brew CBD coffee, has about 15mg of CBD and thats what they are famous for. Its get sold out by noon, so have to come early for that.

I am happy with their handling of social distancing.I was visiting Oakland from out-of-state and was staying at Jack London Square; the pandemic regulations have been different from home so it took some getting used to, but these new rules definitely felt more effective.Also, since I wasn’t from the area, I asked the person working that day for some recommendations and she was amazing; very friendly and she gave me great recommendations which was so nice.

Nice and simple, no-frills experience. I like how on Fridays they have free prepared coffee for people, and when I purchased my decaf Mexican coffee, they offered a free drink on the house. It’s a really nice touch, thank you! The barista also told me a little of the history of the company. That was a nice touch which made me feel like a welcomed visitor. Almost no need to mention but it’s also nice to see a bike rack right out front. Little area in the back where you can hang out and relax if you want to be out of the hot sun.

This place is so incredible and relaxing. Yesterday, I ordered their bestsellers, and I was so surprised when their staff served it quickly. I thanked their staff for being so friendly and speedy. Great local hipster coffee shop that also sells beans that they roast!

Super friendly staff!! No line on a Sunday afternoon, but inviting space with good music and chill vibes. Lots of sunny space and chairs/tables to enjoy a chill weekend day. Oh, and yummy coffee and CBD-infused options! Try the Cold Brew abs balance it with a CBD Sparkling Water ✌🏽

Such a good spot. Bicycle Coffee is that nice blend of local hipster and quality coffee. They have a fairly straightforward menu with all the coffee and espresso based items, and they’ve recently added some new CBD stuff. Their merch is top notch—the graphic t-shirt I got from here is my absolute favorite—and the space is nice and open. It’s a great space to work and play and worth checking out when around Jack London Square.

Perfect for a great latte or pour over to go, but not a lot of food options or comfortable seating.

Best cup of coffee Ive had in a long time. I asked the gentle over the counter for whatever he recommends he made the coffee with milk and sugar simple and super bold with rich flavorful coffee highly recommend this hidden gem !

I’m a needy guy - my go-to drink is a decaf oat milk cappuccino. These guys nailed it to perfection. The best I had in all of Oakland during my recent trip. Super friendly staff. The space is AWESOME.

Good coffee. Good place to hang out and chat with a friend or maybe work on a laptop for a while. Ok staff. Ok atmosphere. Not awesome but certainly not bad. Most importantly, my latte was really good. I even bought a bag of coffee beans because it was that good.

Cool no thrills place. But try to avoid weekday mornings if possible, when theres tons chaos from produce warehouses. Free cup of coffee for customers is awesome.

Bicycle Coffee rocks! A small spot that roasts in house and loves their customers so much they give free drip coffee on Fridays to everyone!!! Their burritos are pretty decent for a quick grab and go. They really take coffee seriously. Enjoy!

This place is nice to come to because its cheaper than blue bottle which is a block over and its never crowded. Ive their drip coffee and their latte.Their latte is great and stronger than any latter Ive ever had. This is great cause its not like the rest of the places where you cant taste the espresso shot.Their drip coffee is drip coffee. Since their coffee is roasted and ground on site like a lot of local places the coffee is almost always on point.Parking is difficult on weekends so make your journey with a nice two block(minimum) walk in mind.

If youre a coffee connoisseur, the smells alone are worth a visit and the pour-overs are heavenly. SUPERB coffee, interesting young owners and workers, and an artsy vibe.

Their baristas really know to brew a good cup. Their place was ultra clean and cozy which is really perfect for a coffee time. Plus, they have the most considerate workers ever. They put the customers needs in top list priority. And now, I dare to say that this is my new go to coffee shop.

The Cold Brew and Pour Overs are amazing. Service is great, you can bring your pup and chill. If youre a cyclist, you can use their pump if your tires are running low.

They have a small table and chairs where toddlers can sit. There were some.magnetic blocks to play with. I like to stop here for a.cofee and snack when I ride with my son around the estuary and Jack London Square. Great place to get coffee beverages (hot or cold). They roast their own coffee beans right in the back of the shop, for everyone to watch. Theres seating and free WiFi. The barista who helped me with my order was very cool and pleasant. I will definitely come here again!

At any opportunity in Downtown Oakland area I make my way to Bicycle coffee. Every Sunday you will catch me in here too.The Chai with Oat milk is my GoTo and the drinks are consistent. I recommend this place to my family and friends who are coffee drinkers. They love it too! Ive converted a few people.

Worst Cappucino I have ever had. First, it was a Latte, though I ordered a Cappuccino. It tasted anemic, like hot milk with a hint of acid. It was dreadful. It made SBUX look good, which is truly sad. Never again.

My favorite coffee. Taste is sometimes inconsistent though. Depending on who makes it. Especially when you order ice mocha. Some pour it over ice and some add ice to it. Taste better to me when they add ice over coffee.

Bicycle Coffee is a hipster coffee joint with mostly young, hip and trendy people who live nearby. There are some tourists as well, as this location is close to Jack London Square. The service is good, the drinks are good, and the place is always crowded. Come if youre already in the area.

Their chai lattes can be good but the taste is inconsistent. One of the baristas was rude and greeted me by saying what do you want ... He just seems unpleasant. Also they serve other people first, even if they ordered after you (we ordered basically the same thing), not sure if theyre regulars or what the deal was. I was going to make this a regular place but definitely not returning.

Really good coffee freshly roasted and ready to go. We buy a 10 lb bag of beans for $50 and grind it at home. Such a deal!

Hidden gem right around the corner from Blue Bottle without the lines and snooty baristas. A nice spot to hang out when its sunny or to tuck into when its raining. They still have their free coffee Fridays which is amazing.
