Ive been coming here and only here for my exhaust work for years, since I lived around the corner on 69th. Aurelio is a great guy who isnt trying to get over on anyone, he quotes a price and thats what you pay, no surprises or extras popping out of nowhere. I cant imagine you will get better service, quality or price anywhere else in the Bay Area...you can give it a shot i suppose but just read through these reviews first.

That special Oakland sound of being relieved of the platinum in my catalytic converter had me in a funk.The guy who answered the phone at Minute Muffler was so cheerful and reassuring. I cant tell you how much better the mechanic made me feel.I had a new set-up at a reasonable price in a few hours.Also, the shop was ridiculously clean. I was really impressed.

The owner Aurelio was very helpful in everything from dealing with the insurance claim to getting the repair done fast. He was very proactive and communicative even outside of business hours. My husband and I had been the unlucky victim of a catalytic converter theft while out of town. We were able to get out of a complicated situation thanks to him. I couldn’t be more satisfied with his service and would recommend him to anyone.

Good costumer service and great work. The guy thats at the front desk is pretty straight forward and honest. I took my 1997 Honda crv because I suspected that the catalytic converter was bad, he told me my cat was good and pointed me in the right direction. Ive also had them install a catalytic converter on my 1992 Honda Accord. Work was done in a timely manner and havent had an issue with any of the work that they did.

Aurelio is honest and wonderful. Def a spot to take your car and know he isnt gunna try to pull a fast one on you.

Go straight to Aurelio! He fixed a white civic i had that NOBODY wanted to even touch.

Went in for a broken exhaust flange. Instead of trying to sell me a new piece, he welded it up for $50 and I was on my way. Thats why I will recommend him to others.

Really have nothing bad to say here. It sucks having to sink money into your car but when my car failed smog I brought it here. The guy I dealt with was very pleasant and took the time to explain what the problem was. In my case it was an after market cat from my time in NY that wasnt cutting the mustard under California regulations. Bummer. But what can you do. He walked me through my options and was very flexible with my schedule and explaining to run the car a few days before getting it smoged again. They even took care of two tires that have had slow leaks for a while at no charge! All in all Ill be coming back here for future work.

Found my go to exhaust shop. Got a cat installed on my miata for $250. Fast and friendly. A truly great shop amidst a sea of overpriced shops.
