Great customer service. Very responsive and helpful.
This is a good place to buy a new mac computer. I am a long time PC user, trying a mac for the first time and I wish I was made more aware of the differences between them because they really are different. But in terms of service and quality of the products they are selling, this is a great place. The computer I bought worked out of the box and when I had a minor technical issue I called them and made it past that. I am also finding out I can also run windows on a mac, if I really dont like the Mac OS. The wireless capability on the Mac is amazing!
Very helpful staff, and I was in and out quickly with a simple service issue.
Surely Im not the first to say this, but Yes! to YES computers. They fixed a keyboard issue in 1.5 days, and were able to verify it was under a Mac warranty so I didnt have to pay. Hooray! Plus, curbside pickup and drop-off made it super handy with kiddos in the car.
Its sooooooo confusing, computers.
This company is great! If I could give more then 5 stars I would! My family has been struggling through this pandemic just like everyone else. But even before that we were struggling. My parents contacted me saying that a man named Daniel had a laptop he wanted to donate to a child who could really use it. My stepdaughter is that child. She loves school, reading and writing. But she does have a reading disability so something like this would really help her catch up in school and feel more comfortable reading and writing. When this company heard that Daniel was planning on donating this computer they gave him a big discount on the repair costs because of it.We are so thankful for Daniel and this company and are happy to know that there are still awesome people in this world.Someday when we are on our feet and in the right position we will also pay it forward.Thank you!!!!
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They repaired my computer perfectly and very quickly during a global pandemic! Im a college student and breaking my laptop during finals week couldnt have come at a worse time... Im so thankful for their quick and reassuring service!
I am absolutely grateful for this company and their staff especially in these difficult times! My computer just crashed out of nowhere and I feared all my work would be gone forever, however they were able to get the job done! I live very far from here but it was worth every mile. They were kind, understanding , and treated my situation with the utmost respect. I would strongly recommend their services 100%!
Not open on sunday
I had to drive here from CT because Apple stores were not available and this was the closest Apple approved store near me. They fixed my computer (software issue) in Id say, at most, a week. I wish Id have taken the name of the gentleman I spoke with. He informed me that they MAY have to do something that would cost me more. I always assume techs use our ignorance against us, like mechanics (Im skeptic). I explained if thats whats needed fine but Id rather not. He did his thing, called back in about 30 min Id say and explained they wouldnt need to do something that involved me needing an external hard drive. His efforts to not force a sale and kindness prompted me to purchase the service of them backing up my data anyways. He also went through and made room on my Mac then updated it for me. And didnt judge me if I happen to have free movie software, cant be mad at that.
A great place with people who know what theyre doing. They know how to treat your Apple related products just right. They also carry some very fine sound systems and bags. This very nice building helps to make Northampton look good.
Conveniently located for curbside pickup, Yes computers sells computers, accessories, and computer services at competitive pricing. A+
Competent service people in the community. Great local business! We need more like this well run community gem.
Smart, quick, decent about everything. They opened up my laptop, told me what was wrong and helped me understand how to deal with it. These are good folk who know their business. Ive owned Macs for 30+ years going back to the 80s. Happy to work with YES Computers and appreciate their knowledge.
I spilled an entire tall glass of water on my 15 Macbook Pro and dropped it right off to Yes Computers. They worked quickly and were very thorough with drying up and going through the entire computer to save it. Well they did! Im sure part was luck and the other part was definitely them. Price was very reasonable for the work they did and Id highly recommend them. Tyler was especially great to work with over there.
I recently had to have my computer wiped and the programs reinstalled. I was not happy but could accept the necessity of doing this with equanimity because of the calm, unhurried service I received from Natalia.
Imagine and Apple store, with out the bright white and Apple ownership. That is Yes computer. They service, repair, sell, accessorize Apple products. IPhone, IPad, Mac computers and then some. Headphones, chargers, speakers, covers and bags.As with all things Apple products its not for the thin of wallet. They have in house repairs for Apple and other makers and sell used refurbished as well. Staff are happy to sell or allow browsing.
I recommend YES Computers both for service and sales. The service department was efficient and effective. They were able to quickly repair my computer and the cost was reasonable. When I recently bought a computer, I was given sound advice (I did my research ahead of time and the advice was in line with this) without being asked to buy features/models I did not need.
Incompetent airheads!! My wife was promised that her computer would be repaired by the end of the day, just come in and pick it up my wife was told. We drove a ways, stopped in and it WASNT done!! The woman working on it went home sick, but nobody called us to tell us that it wouldnt be done. We made a long, unnecessary drive because of their incompetence. They couldnt repair it in the end, after all was said and done.We then picked up an external hard drive, got home, and realized that they hadnt included the cable!! Called them, they said look around your house...???!!! For WHAT???!!! Ohhhhh...WE have it here at the Yes store, gotcha!!! SOOOOO...we will take ANOTHER unnecessary drive to pick up the cable!!!Do yourself a favor folks, stay away, there are plenty of computer repair/stores around!!!
Went here for a simple computer issue. Workers had a little attitude and quoted about five times more for the service than Green Earth computers as well as a hefty charge for diagnostics. I walked out the door and went to Green Earth instead. Next time I will go right to the friendly people at Green Earth computers to avoid being overcharged. The response below shows the kind of condescension that really left a bad impression.
The only thing I can recommend about this business is the Mac product line it sells. I cannot think of anywhere that I have experienced worse customer service. I made an appointment to get help with a problem I was having with an older Mac laptop. I was being charged an hourly fee for this help. The Apple store gives this help & offers many classes FOR FREE. When I arrived on time for my appointment, I was told, in an exasperated tone, that tutorial schedule was about an hour behind. I decided to ask some questions about buying a new laptop while I waited. A man who was giving the impression of being the owner or manager of the place acted as though I was trying to rob him by asking questions before my appointment started. I decided then not to even consider buying the new laptop there, & came back later for my appointment. The expert was unable to help me, but charged me for the time anyway. It is much more convenient for me to go to Northampton than to Holyoke, & I very much prefer to support local business, but Yes Computers has nothing at all to offer that any Apple store doesnt do better, at a better price, & with a better attitude. If you want a Mac or help with one, go to an Apple Store.
Woke up one morning to discover my old Mac suddenly wasnt charging. Took it to Yes, walked up to the service desk, and Chris quickly diagnosed the problem. He let me see for myself how my magsafe cord was defective, and sold me a new one. Thought the list price was a bit steep compared to online vendors, but the personal service and quick resolution of my problem was priceless.
Weve been happy with the sales and service team at Yes. My family started with Macs but then for work I had to go to PCs. Weve been back for a decade now and couldnt be happier. Yes Computers is a great resource and while we all know you pay a little more if you live in Mac world the experience is worth it. Same with YES, and support local businesses!!
Excellent excellent! I have a legacy MacBook Pro that fell and needs to be repaired. They did a quick estimate for the insurance company. Technician was wonderfully helpful.
V.good Apple certified repair shop.
Fast service, friendly staff. They did not tighten my my laptop screen enough so its a bit wobbly now
Tell me to come back after summer to get my Mac repaired, later refuse to help me and ask me to contact Apple directly. Waste of time, better go to Apple store.
Incredibly fast service. Dropped off Macbook for screen replacement, initially estimated to be a 2-3 day turn around. Called the next day to pick up. Less than 24 hours. Beat that, Apple Store.
Expensive and equipment is junk. I bought an Apple IPad mini 2. It had a software glitch. I sent it in for repair. Instead of the new tablet that I had paid for, I got back a used piece of junk with a worse glitch than the one I had sent in. random vertical lines will appear on the screen. It is very annoying!I have contacted Apple several times and they have refused to make it right. I paid a lot of money for defective equipment! I learned my lesson! Ill stick with Android from now on!
Nice people and nice clean store, however: I spent $700+ on a new TB harddrive for the mac, then brought it home and the machine kept crashing. It wasnt adequately tested. I sent an email to support and never got a response. I brought it in and the person said they couldnt take the time to look at the crash logs, but if I wanted them to diagnose what was wrong, they had to keep the machine for two days just to run tests, but I was traveling, and couldnt lose it. All in, I feel super unsupported in the whole process. I am sitting here with a machine that just crashed again, and am so peeved that Im taking the time to write my first negative review anywhere.
Fair products and service however not something I would return to.
Years ago they had my computer on their counter for days and didnt fix it until a month. However, recently they were able to repair my computer (software issue) and contacted me via email on what exactly was wrong with it before they finished. Very prompt too. Yes, the staff are blunt, sometimes can be rude, but at the same time can be helpful offering solutions and advice.
Professional and courteous staff. Made the scary proposition of fixing our trusted computer rather painless.
Very bad! Some parts that dont need to be replaced, they also let you change, the charge is very high, not good.
Quick service. Friendly helpful staff.
We dropped a computer off for a keyboard repair about a week ago. Heard nothing till we called when we returned from vacation. Our expectation: That we would receive a communication telling us what needed to be done for our approval. No call/no communication. When we called we learned that in the 6 days they had the computer they had not even looked at it. Also, that they wouldnt even diagnose till early next week (about 10 days after drop off).We decided to take it to the Apple Store in Holyoke and to pick up this morning. I called ahead of time to instruct Yes Computer to have ready for my pick-up. When I arrived there were two levels of delay: 1) They did not explain that there were two separate areas - one of new equipment in front and a second area towards the back of store. Waited about 3 or 4 minutes to learn I was in the wrong place. Then waited another several minutes for a not too friendly woman to search records and then search for the machine. Finally got it after wasting far too much time. Note: NO APOLOGY UPON PICKUP ..... and no real courtesy in the repair area. The only reason not 1 star: The women in front was gracious enough to walk me to the repair area.I had one other experience about 2 years ago that I recall was about a 3 star experience. My other half took computer to yes to avoid a longer ride to the Holyoke Apple Store. The laptop goes there tonight - about 7 days after initial drop off and needless time and energy wasted. Computer was needed for the start of school.
Great sales staff, service not quite as good. But in general i really like the store. Have bought all my businesss apple products from them and will continue to do so.
I was in here for a short while, but the majority of featured products were Apple, which I personally dont like. Otherwise a good store for apple users!
Each and every time Ive visited Yes, I have been completely satisfied. Ive used their service department and they saved my data and helped me thoroughly with Imovie and Vimeo. Yes is a great convenience to Northampton saving me time traveling to an Apple store miles away. I would recommend them to anyone with an Apple product.
I purchased an iPad as a gift and a few days later returned it. I misunderstood their return policy and believe that it was explained to me incorrectly at the time of sale. When I returned it I was charged a large restocking fee.Later I spoke with them on the phone and they agreed with me, refunded the fee, and changed their return policy as a result. What began as a bad experience turned into an excellent example of reasonable and responsive customer service. This is how a good modern-day brick and mortar store should treat their customers. I know that Apple and Visa are squeezing these small guys from both ends, so I applaud their efforts to continue to treat us fairly.
Really great customer service! Saved me a trip to the Apple Store in Holyoke.
The customer service here was horrendous on multiple occasions.I bought a new Macbook from them in May, because Northampton’s closer to me than the Apple Store in Holyoke, and I like supporting small, local businesses. That experience was OK. However, there were some weird little issues with the computer, so I emailed them about it, late summer. No response, despite several follow-ups and trying different email addresses (from my receipt and on their web site). I called at one point, and was told by a frazzled employee who just wanted to get me off the phone that someone would get back to me. Nobody did. (I do not live close by so I’m not able to just pop in.)Getting into winter, I messaged via Facebook, and again was told someone would get back to me. Nobody did. I tried to follow up again more recently via Facebook, and the person responding gave me the owners email address (despite my saying that they dont respond to emails), but not before being at least slightly condescending and blaming that days snowstorm for the lack of communication (apparently not reading my messages that this had been going on for months). Then, inexplicably, I was blocked from their Facebook page. (The only provocation I can think of being that I was trying to get some answers while I actually had a hold of somebody, or maybe they were trying to avoid yet another bad review.)I went ahead and emailed the owner, Mark, anyway. A few weeks later and still no response. This place is a travesty the very concept of an Apple “Premier Partner.” Off to Holyoke I go!
Its a nice place very clean and nice work environment
Didnt really have much computer things
YES couldnt tell me what was wrong with my Mac on two different visits so I brought it to the Apple store and in 30 seconds the guy figured out it needed a new magsafe connecting port. Cost 50$, I called YES because I bought my Mac here and figured Id have them do the service....Not for 200$!!!!
I have been very pleased with the attentive and knowledgable staff in both the sales and service departments. Thank you!
Resurrected the walking dead. My daughters 7 year old MBP 13 was missing a key and had soda splashed on the lower right corner of the keyboard making some of the keys and the trackpad barely useable. Their tech (Tony) was able to wash the keyboard and trackpad with a solution, replaced the key and I had them add a new 128GB SSD and this little laptop is back to full functionality and with the new solid state drive is a fast machine! All for less than half of what Apple wanted to just fix, if they can my machine. Great service and nice selection of accessories that apple just doesnt carry in their stores. Really like this store.
For the past 10 years, they have always provided excellent service and sales. I dont know why people have complaints ... probably cuz they are looking for things complain about.
Staff is rude. Never going back.
Friendly staff. Ability to review Apple products in person locally.
I recommend Left Click in Amherst
Well informed staff and friendly service
Sales staff were friendly and helpful. Efficient and effective repair service; however repair staff were insolent and did not provide good customer service.
Repair staff was very rude.
Nice and great customer service
Yes pulls through compared to Corprate Apple store in Holyoke.
Rude and insolent repair staff. Brought computer in twice, paid $180 for diagnostics and data backup. Computer is till not working.
Expensive and incredibly rude service. Taking my mac elsewhere.
Highly recommend
